Mini Egg Warning-Parents Take Note
You’ve all seen the warnings about cutting up grapes before giving them to your children, a lot of schools even place notes in packed lunches if they are not cut the correct way and the meme of how to prepare grapes is forever shared across social media.
With Easter coming up I want to warn you all about another deadly choking hazard, one that tragically took away my child.
It has been just short of three years since my precious little girl Sophie passed away she had choked on a mini egg and I was unable to dislodged it, even with back slaps and pushing up and under her ribs, I had done a first aid course only six months prior to this event so all the techniques to help a choking child were still fresh in my mind but it didn’t help, I watched the light slip away from my babies eyes, I tried in vain to save her.
Sophie was 5 1/2 so not a tiny tot yet this seemingly harmless treat took my angel away.
If your children enjoy these chocolate treats please watch them extra close and remind them to sit down whilst eating them or avoid them altogether.
Since Sophie’s passing I have seen many other parents posting into “mum groups”or their personal Facebook timelines saying their child had also choked on mini eggs, please parents be careful I would hate to know another child had been harmed by these Easter treats, if just one person reads this and watches their toddler, child or teen extra close when eating these my daughter’s death will not be in vain, I would love to have them removed from the shelves but I know this will not happen, but getting parents to be extra vigilant is the best I can do, please watch your babies.

I Had To Choose Which Child To Keep
I had to choose which child to keep
I can only be a good parent to one of my two child and this kills me inside.
I have two children Shane who Is 13 and Chloe who is 3, I love them both so much.
Shane has always been a hand full, playing truant from school, hanging around with the wrong crowd and getting up to mischief, Shane was always so angry and quick to fly into a temper.
I have had the school, police and social services involved to try to control and calm Shane down and trying to teach me ways to deal with him.
Shane did have some good traits he dotted on his little sister always hugging her and playing with her, I never once thought he would hurt her, yes he had slapped me on a number of occasions but Chloe was his favourite person in the whole world.
Shane was already in his 4th secondary school after being excluded from others, just after Halloween I received a call from Shane’s new school.
It had been brought to a teacher’s attention that my son had been boasting to his friends that when he got home he was going to rape and drown his sister in the bath.
I will never know if he meant it or whether he was just showing off in front of everyone.
I wasn’t prepared to take that chance, I had no control of him, at the age of 13 he was bigger and stronger than me, had he tried to hurt Chloe I would have had little power to stop him.
I handed my first-born child over to the local authority to protect my youngest child.
Not a day goes by where I don’t feel ashamed and guilty, Shane won’t speak to me, the last thing he said to me before he cut contact was “you picked her over me, if you thought I was gonna hurt her why didn’t you give her up”.
I had to make a choice my violent son whom I loved but had failed or my innocent daughter.
Did I make the right choice, my daughter would have been loved by any family had I given her up, but my son needed me.
I don’t think I’ll ever come to terms with my decision but I did what I thought was right for my daughter.
I just hope my son grows up into a decent human being and we can rekindle some sort of relationship.

Why Is My Black Son Being Placed On The Front Line?
Tania Benards post this week on Facebook has a lot pf people talking and we can see why!
Bernard said: My 5th grader Dez (uk year 6) and I were conversing on the way to work/school this morning. As an educator, I wanted to be sure he and his classmates were taking the school safety drills seriously and not using it as a time to socialize and goof off.
Me: Have you guys practiced a lockdown drill in class yet?
Dez: Are you talking about an active shooter drill?
Me: Yes
Dez: Yes, we practiced it
Me: So tell me what you are supposed to do.
Dez: The teacher is supposed to shut and lock the door, put the black paper over the window on the door.
Then myself and three other boys are suppose to push the table against the door.
After that all the class is going to stand behind us on the back wall.
Me: The class is suppose to stand behind who?
Dez: Me and the other 3 boys. We stand at the front and they get behind us.
*I internally went from 0 to 100 real quick. My child is one of only 2 black children in a class of 23. Being transparent, I immediately went to the “why is my black son being put on the front line?” (Just being real) So I asked before I verbally stated my thoughts*
Me: Why did you get picked to stand in front of everyone else if a shooter came in your school?
Dez: I didn’t get picked. I volunteered to push the table and protect my friends
Me: 😯*immediate nausea * Dez why would you volunteer to do that?
Dez: If it came down to it I would rather be the one that died protecting my friends then have an entire class die and I be the only one that lived
Father God, it took everything out of me not to breakdown. I still have a lump in my throat. 10 damn years old and this has to be our babies thought process in America.

I Make My Partner Sleep At His Parents Once A Month
I am a mum to two children Charlie who is 3 and Robbie who is 11 weeks old.
I am in a very happy relationship with my partner of 5 years my wonderful boyfriend Jamie he is a wonderful boyfriend and a fantastic father barring his drinking.
No he isn’t an alcoholic or abusive but once a month he goes out with his mates he crawls home in the early hours and ends up vomiting in the house, urinating on himself or on one occasion mistaking the airing cupboard for a toilet and weeing in it, he never makes it to the bedroom and I often find him asleep on the landing or even on my children’s bedroom floor.
Since Robbie was born I have banned him from coming home when he has had a drink, he knows he has to go and stay at his friend’s house or go to his parents home which is 3 streets down from ours.
Last weekend he went out and got very drunk but went to his mums house, the next morning his mother phoned me and called me a psycho for banning her son from coming back to his own house, he works hard and should be able to go out and have a drink and return home without any repercussions or rules in place, she even said it’s not like he’s abusive or violent when he drinks and is a happy drunk.
I will be sticking to this rule though I do not want my children to witness their loving father asleep in his own vomit or urine or my partner to ruin our lovely home.
Please tell me I’m not the only woman in the world who makes their partner do this, it’s not like I’m stopping him from seeing his friends I understand he needs his time and to go out and enjoy himself and I will not stop him but I sure as hell will stop my kid growing up thinking this is the norm.

If Your Thinking Of Not Vaccinating Your Child Read This
Jennifer Hibben-White took to Facebook regarding vaccinations she said:
This is my son Griffin, and he may have measles.
On February 9th, I received a phone call from York Region Public Health, informing me that Griffin, alongside my mother and I, was potentially exposed to the measles virus while attending a newborn weigh-in appointment at my doctor’s office in Markham on January 27th.
Griffin was 15 days old at the time.
I was informed that someone who later developed measles sat in the doctor’s waiting room between 1 hour before and 30 minutes before we arrived. I was also informed that measles is regarded as “airborne” and can stay in the air and on surfaces up to 2 hours after the infected person has left.
I was then asked if I had had the measles vaccine. I had.
Griffin. Griffin had not. Can not.
I was advised to not be around small children. If I worked in such an environment I would be written off work. I do work in such an environment; my home. Where I now sit with Griffin and my 3-year-old, Aurelia, who has only been able to get one MMR vaccine so far. She is now, technically, exposed too. We are to sit tight and watch for symptoms: fever, cough, runny nose. If we develop any of these we are to call my doctor and arrange to come in under official medical precautions. We are to wait at home, in isolation, until February 17th, after which the 21 days of possible incubation will have passed and we are clear.
So, Griffin is now Schrödinger’s baby. Simultaneously with measles, and without it. Until he develops symptoms, or until a further 7 days pass. One or other.
And I’m angry. Angry as hell.
I won’t get angry at or blame the person in the waiting room. I would have likely done the same thing…you get sick, you go to the doctor. I have no idea what their story is and I will never know. But I do know one thing:
If you have chosen to not vaccinate yourself or your child, I blame you.
I blame you.
You have stood on the shoulders of our collective protection for too long. From that high height, we have given you the PRIVILEGE of our protection, for free. And in return, you gave me this week. A week from hell. Wherein I don’t know if my BABY will develop something that has DEATH as a potential outcome.
DEATH.
Now, let’s unpack this shall we. All out on the table.
You have NO IDEA what this “potential outcome” means. NO IDEA. I do. Unfortunately, I do.
You think you are protecting your children from thimerosal? You aren’t. It’s not in their vaccine.
You think you are protecting them from autism? You aren’t. There is no, none, nada, nothing in science that proves this. If you want to use google instead of science to “prove me wrong” then I am happy to call you an imbecile as well as misinformed.
You think you are protecting them through extracts and homeopathy and positive thoughts and Laws of Attraction and dancing by candlelight on a full moon? You aren’t. I PROTECT YOUR CHILD. We protect your child. By being concerned world citizens who care about ourselves, our fellow-man, and our most vulnerable. So we vaccinate ourselves and our children.
You think you are protecting them by letting them eat their shovel full of dirt and reducing antibiotics and eating organic? You aren’t. As an unvaccinated person you are only protected by our good graces. WE LET YOU BE SO PRIVILEGED thanks to our willingness to vaccinate ourselves and our children.
You know what vaccines protect your children from? Pain. Suffering. Irreparable harm. Death.
And you would be the first to line up if you had an inkling of what the death of a child feels like. You would be crawling through the streets on your hands and knees, begging, BEGGING to get that vaccine into your precious babies because that is what I would have done, if I could, to save my daughter.
The fact is, there was no vaccine for her. Not for her illness. And she died. She died at age five and a half, and she is gone.
And I watch these arguments trotted out on Facebook and twitter citing false science and long discredited“studies” that just won’t stop and Jenny McCarthy quotes and “it’s MY choice” to not vaccinate…and I think…what would you have done if your child lay dying? Would you give them a scientifically proven, safe and effective vaccine and risk the minuscule likelihood of a side effect? Or would you let them go, knowing that at least they won’t develop autism (which they wouldn’t even develop anyway because SCIENCE)?
And don’t you DARE tell me that you wouldn’t vaccinate them then. Don’t you dare. You have no idea what it feels like to go through what we went through.
So, look at Griffin. Tell me why he gets to bear the brunt of your stupidity and reckless abuse of our protection? Tell me.
Seven more days until I know that my baby is safe. Seven more days.
How is your week going, anti-vaxxers?

Grief Stricken Mothers Warning About Swimming Pools
One grief-stricken mother recently contact Mums advice and pleaded with us to raise awareness of swimming pools and the risks involved when in local pools or whilst on holiday.
Now you may be thinking her child had passed away by drowning but this mums story shocked me to the core and we just had to share.
The mum wishes to remain anonymous but she explained her 12-year-old daughter who was a very confident swimming and was never far from her side, died whilst on holiday in Egypt last year due to the vacuum effect in the swimming pools drain.
The drain is powerful enough to hold swimmers, especially young children or light weight adults to the bottom of the pool. Contact between human skin and a flat pool drain can create a huge suction equal to hundreds of pounds of pressure.
In this horrific instance, four adult men were unable to pull this young teenager from the grasp of the deadly drain which ripped out her small intestines as the poor girl and the men struggled to pull her free, by the time the hotel had turned the pump off it was already to late for this girl.
Swimmers can die from drowning or evisceration by these pool drains.
The grief-stricken mother wants to warn all parents to advice their children to steer clear of these filters and to be extra careful when going under water or sitting on the pools floor or using hot tubs especially when on holiday as some countries don’t comply with safety regulations and are putting holiday makers at grave risk.
The mum said that the loss of her daughter has been unbearable to live with but hopes that by sharing her daughters story she may prevent another tragedy happening and stop another family from losing an innocent child or loved one.

Convicted Paedophiles Should The Uk Follow Florida
Is England too lenient to convicted paedophiles?
Do you feel our country puts our children at risk by not having stricter laws and firmer punishments?
Well one mum thinks our country has to many human rights and paedophiles are free to roam the streets unsupervised and parents are not given enough information about who may live in their community or even be living next door or coaching their childs sports team.
Jessica Lori said that In Florida they have a law that if you’re a convicted pedophile, you must have the below notice outside your house and feels that we should roll this over into the United Kingdom.
She also said that in Florida you’re are also able to check online if any convicted child abusers live in the local area, which then will give you the choice to avoid that area and to warn your children to steer clear.
Paedophiles aren’t allowed to live within certain areas, they cannot live near Bus stops, schools, places kids will play and have to avoid entering any areas where children may be.
Many many mums agreed with Jessica and thought that the UK laws are far to weak.
However one mum said that if a sign like that was to be placed outside any of the homes in her local area the public would take it upon themselves to seek out justice and the person within the home wouldn’t live very long.
Another mum said that she would be worried what sort of child abuse case would have a sign, she stated that if a man had sex with a 15-year-old who had lied about her age although he was in the wrong for having intercourse with a minor it is not the same as raping or abusing a young child.
Do you think more needs to be done in this country to protect our children from sick individuals?

Ladies You’re Doing Way More Damage Than You Understand
One mans rant about free bleeding mum with her children hugging her blood stained legs have gone viral.
Dominick Izzo said:
Look, ladies, you’re doing way more damage than you understand.
Saw a picture of a woman doing an incredible yoga pose in her Instagram account.
She was on her left leg and held her right leg way in the air, almost parallel with her head and straightened spine.
She had her daughter and son (who looked that he was about 5) gripping on to her posted leg, with both of their faces in her crotch… and she was wearing a very small pair of white shorts that clearly showed she was menstruating.
Her caption read, “if this monthly flood of ours makes you uncomfortable, maybe I should remind you where the fuck you come from.”
You think it’s cute. You think your monthly, natural event is beautiful and a celebration… not to a boy it’s not. Because we don’t experience it.
You think this “fluidity thing” is a game for you to play with your children and that sexuality, gender and identity is simply a fun way for you to live vicariously through your children because your mind is fucked up and you’re not going to oppress your child how your parents oppressed you.
Let me tell you something about boys; want to know why they are so much easier to raise than girls?
Because boys are biology designed to do one thing very well… get females pregnant. While little Suzie has a brain that is dynamic and ever-changing, us males are locked on toys, playing war or with toy guns, lego’s and sex.
By around 13 boys are capable of creating life.
And our drive to procreate is also a designed biological miracle. We’re pretty much one tracked minded from pre puberty on.
It’s makes us simple but that’s also a problem because it’s all we think about. And it’s distracting enough in life.
You come along at show Little Johnny how wonderful mommy’s vagina is and confuse him even more with the fact that she’s bleeding and you’re screwing up your child in ways that you should be ordered to therapy for.
When I was 9, friends of mine and I found our first “dirty magazines” while we were playing in an alley. We had NO CLUE what we were seeing.
At 9 years old, a boy shouldn’t be subjected to seeing the images we saw. We weren’t ready to understand what we these grown adults were doing.
But I remember we talking about it for months and passed the magazine around every chance we had.
That was decades ago. All some 9-year-old has to do today is google porn images and Mum and Dad have a lot of talking to do.
Believe it or not, it is a form of PTSD.
Men and women aren’t designed to see body parts blown open on the battle field and little boys aren’t ready to see or focus on sexuality issues that most adults are too embarrassed to admit they don’t even understand yet too.
Stop your bullshit.
Stop pumping your 8-year-old boys with female hormones because YOU have issues.
Stop showing your boys that it’s ok to dress up in girls clothes, because it’s not.
Stop telling you child that they can be anything they want, because that is a lie that will completely destroy them in the long run.
Kids aren’t meant to be your blank canvas where you get to paint anything you want, let the paint dry and then paint something else over it.
Be a parent. Not someone who wants to pump out a creation that is born perfect AS IS, but you think you know better than God does and want to make up for your messed up past.
A boy is a boy. And can NEVER be a girl.

This Is What The Flu Can Do- Please Stay At Home If You’re Ill
These last few days have been a blur. This little man has been put through ringer…but tonight he is finally resting.
Saturday: snotty nose, low-grade fever and I noticed he had a molar coming through. So I just assumed it was from the tooth.
Sunday: decreased energy level, high fever and coughing
Monday: lethargic, deeper cough, high fever that wouldn’t break.
We started this journey with our son Jase’s pediatrician how instantly saw a very tired little boy. Jase was admitted Monday afternoon and started on IV fluids, breathing treatments and tamiflu.
Tuesday morning I saw my little boy interested in his surroundings. But within a few hours it all changed…and for what we thought was the worse. Jase started to vomit but it was different…he couldn’t bring everything up. The cough progressed…he became very lethargic again and now his breathing started to decline. Without hesitation we elected to transport Jase to Munson where he would have a better chance of recovering.
Tuesday afternoon Jase took his 2nd ride in an ambulance within minutes of being seen by the next doctor she ordered chest rads and additional blood work.
Hours later this little boy was fading. His oxygen sateration was declining. He needed 100% flow to keep his saturation in the mid 80’s.
After observing him and making adjustment in his meds the doctor started to see him decline…he was really struggling to move air on his own. He started to become very mad when we touched him…he would cry out is shear pain.
Wednesday morning within minutes of getting the bloodwork back at 4:00 am a AreoMed chopper was ordered and our baby boy would be airlifted to DeVos. At this point he was not critical but we didn’t want to wait any longer.
By the time Ryan and I made it to DeVos Jase was put on a bypass machine to help move oxygen. Jase had now been on a continuous albuterol treatment and multiple doses of steriods. Needless to say he was being very hard to handle. He was upset with the mask he needed to wear. He was crying because he wanted water. He would panic for no reason. After talking to the doctors we elected to give Jase a small sedative to help him relax. All the medications were making him upset…but these medications were needed in his recovery.
We watching him struggle, panic, cry, scream, hit and the numbers continued to decline.
So where are we now???
Jase has been intubated and he is now on a ventilator we have many unknowns ahead but this is going to help him rest, help his lung repair the damage and get him back to his cheerful, full of energy self. His little body is so tired and can’t fight the nasty flu virus let along the infection in his lungs.
Today is a new day but another day of unknowns
