  • People Who Are Always Late Are More Successful And Live Longer

People Who Are Always Late Are More Successful And Live Longer, Says Science

You’re thinking of someone, aren’t you? Maybe it’s your best friend who just can’t get anywhere on time – or maybe it’s you. Regardless this is good news for people with bad timekeeping everywhere. Sure, you may occasionally/always be late, however there are positive personality traits that may just be a saving grace.

People who are late have a greater inability to feel stressed, leading to health benefits, but also think outside the box and look at the bigger picture. All of these things lead to greater success at work, alongside a longer life.

In DeLonzor’s book ‘Never be late again’, she says: “Many late people tend to be both optimistic and unrealistic, she said, and this affects their perception of time. They really believe they can go for a run, pick up their clothes at the dry cleaners, buy groceries and drop off the kids at school in an hour.

“They remember that single shining day 10 years ago when they really did all those things in 60 minutes flat, and forget all the other times that everything took much, much longer.”

THIS POSITIVITY ALSO MAKES YOU MORE LIKELY TO BE SUCCESSFUL

In a study of salesmen carried out by Metropolitan Life, “consultants who scored in the top 10 per cent for optimism sold 88 per cent more than those ranked in the most pessimistic 10 per cent”. Their performance is better because their outlook is better.

THEY HAVE HIGHER LEVELS OF ENTHUSIASM

Those who are often late or disorganised fall into the ‘Enthusiast’ category. The weaknesses include being ‘over-extended, scattered and undisciplined,‘ however the positive qualities include being ‘extroverted, spontaneous, high-spirited and playful’.

THEIR PASSING OF TIME ACTUALLY FEELS DIFFERENT

A study was carried out by Jeff Conte, an associate psychology professor at San Diego State University. Researchers carried out an experiment of A type (competitive, impatient) and B type (relaxed, creative) personalities – of which late people fall into the B category. They asked people from both groups to guess, after one minute, how much time had passed. Those in the A type category answered on average 58 seconds, whereas B types answered 77 seconds. They literally perceive time as longer that it really is.

“So if you have an 18-second gap… that difference can add up over time,” Conte told Sumathi Reddy of the Wall Street Journal.

AND MULTITASKERS ALSO PERCEIVE TIME MORE SLOWLY

He assessed 181 subway operators in New York and found that those who often multitasked tended to be late more often than others.

THEY ARE OFTEN COMPLETELY ENGROSSED IN WHAT THEY ARE DOING, CAUSING THEM TO LOSE TRACK IF TIME

Think of your favourite friend who’s always late. Do they have interest in a lot of people, and try to take on one too many hobbies? As Lifehack.org says people are often late because they have been “engrossed in another activity that is fascinating or wildly interesting” which has put them in “another zone”.

Late people don’t see it as a big deal when others are late, because they can ‘see the bigger picture’

Minute details tend not to bother people who fall into the B type. They then think because I would be OK with them being late, it’s OK if I’m five minutes late (it’s probably not).

    THEY ARE MORE SPONTANEOUS

As with the laid-back nature of a B type personality, they will not worry so much about train times, booking hotels or flights. They “will just throw some items in a suitcase and head out, figuring out where to eat and sleep along the way. There is far more adventure in that.”, according to Lifehack.org.

AND ARE ALSO WORSE WITH MONEY

People who are late, but genuinely don’t mean to be – the ones who want to be considerate, often live in the moment and find it hard to save for the future, says Alfie Kohn on Psychology Today. Some people “can’t summon the self-control to be on time” which would mean that person “probably has trouble getting his or her act together in other ways as well – say, around saving money or saying no to junk food.” Oops.

THEY LIKE TO BEAT TARGETS AND NORMS

Never one to follow instructions, believe the estimation on their Google Map or to think in a linear fashion. This means they think outside of the box, leading them to tackle issues in unconventional – and often better – ways. According to Delonzor, you could be ‘a deadliner’ – someone who is: “subconsciously drawn to the adrenaline rush of the sprint to the finish line”. Or you could be ‘a producer’ – someone “who gets an ego boost from getting as much done in as little time as possible.”

PEOPLE WHO ARE LATE, ACCORDING TO CARDIOLOGISTS, ARE LESS LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE HEART DISEASE

In a study by the International Journal of Clinical and Health Psychology, A type personalities are thought to be more likely to be high risk for coronary diseases. This is due to the higher stress levels experienced – meaning those with less worry about timekeeping are likely to avoid diseases related to stress.

  • Is Jo Jo Siwa A No No?

IS JO JO SIWA BOWS A NO NO?

Jo Jo bows have been banned in multiple UK schools .

The coloured bows are not allowed in UK schools because they do not comply with some uniform codes and are ‘distracting’ to teachers and other students.

The massive hairclips became popular after being worn by social media star JoJo Siwa.

Does a hair accessory really affect how a child learns or distract their class mates?

We asked parents in schools around Essex to tell us their views.

Jenny Clark said “Like every trend, it will pass. Let them express themselves, it’s only a bow. My daughter wears them and I thinks they look ridiculous but know it’s harmless. Trends come and go!”

Stephanie Gold said “That should be banned from ever where over priced rubbish jo jo is just a no no” ugliest thing i’ve ever seen, if i were a child at school i would be distracted and unable to concentrate due to the utter ugliness  .

What’s your thoughts on the Jo Jo bows? Whether you like them or not do you think it’s over the top to ban them from schools or believe it does go against the uniform code?

Are children at your childs school allowed to wear them, if not what reason have the school given for their decision.

  • Is My Child Ready For Soilds?

    Introducing solids too early can be extremely dangerous for little ones. It significant increases a child’s chances of developing many medical issues such as;
    ●respiratory illness
    ●digestive upset
    ●gas
    ●constipation
    ●food allergies
    ●iron deficiency
    ●future obesity

When to know a child is developmentally ready for solids.

    1. The child is at least 6 months old.

    2. They are able to sit unaided for several minutes at a time.

    3. The child has lost the tongue thrust reflex.

    4. Has developed the pincer grasp which means food can be picked up using the thumb and forefinger.

  • The Woman Who Had Ten Boys Aborted

The Woman Who Had Ten Boys Aborted.

Martha Whatmore aged 37 from Surrey has aborted ten babies her reasons shocked us to the core and as a rule we stay impartial but we have to admit we feel sickened by her actions.

You see Martha has four sons ranging from 9 to 17.

Martha and her husband Kyle are desperate to add a daughter to their family.
Martha explained they had used the nub and ramzi theory to tell the sex of their expectant babies.
Every pregnancy so far they have believed to be a boy.

Martha and Kyle told Mums advice that they love their sons to bits but don’t have anymore room in their home or heart to keep on having more boys all they really want to make their family complete is a much wanted daughter.

Martha said “We do not believe we are doing any wrong, the fetus is not fully formed and we pay privately for the abortion so aren’t wasting tax payers money, why bring a baby into the world that isn’t wanted”.

Kyle added: “we are praying our next pregnancy brings along a little princess, but if not we will keep trying until we succeed”.

Both said if there was an option to pick the sex then they would jump at the chance and would be prepared to pay any price, we suggested to them the option of adopting the babies out or tying to adopt a girl but they are adamant that what they are doing isn’t harming anyone.

Martha added “I could understand people being annoyed or upset with our actions if the baby was fully formed but it is just a fetus and feels no pain”.

Ten abortions and by the looks of it unless their next pregnancy is a girl this number could vastly increase.

Distraught mum’s horror as Toddler Badly Burnt Whilst At Nursery

Little Reuben’s face was scalded in the accident at Bridge End House Nursery, Fixby

Reuben’s mum has told of how she was left feeling “hysterical and distraught” after her toddlers face was scalded following an accident at a Fixby nursery.

Sarah Jane Walker, 29, of Deighton said she couldn’t believe what she was hearing when the manager at Bridge End House Nursery told paramedics what had happened  to her 18-month-old son Reuben Adams.

Sarah said: “I was working in Huddersfield town centre when I got a call from the nursery manager at 3.30pm. I was told he had been burned. I put the phone down and went as fast as I could to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary where an ambulance had taken him.

“I got there and Reuben’s key worker and nursery manager were there. He was in an awful state. I got hold of Reuben and took him out of the nursery nurse’s arms and they left.

“I was in hysterics. I was crying. I didn’t want him to see me so upset. He was given morphine and transferred to Pinderfields General Hospital. My mum was there.

“He has had some more morphine to clean the wounds. He couldn’t sleep and I was with him all night.

We are hopin with time the scars will fade and that he grows up with no memory of this pain.

She said paramedics were told by nursery staff that her son had apparently opened the safety gate and went into the kitchen area and has somehow been injured by a bowl of boiling water used to warm a baby bottle.

“Reuben is my only baby and I’m mortified that this has happened in the care of a qualified Ofsted registered nursery that I researched before registering him.

“I had put my trust in this nursery so I could go to work to give Reuben everything possible.

“Reuben will not be returning to the nursery ever again.”

  • The mum who gives her child to her mother-in-law every weekend

The mum who gives her child to her mother-in-law every weekend.

Australian model  Rachael Finch and her husband Michael Miziner spend every weekend without their two-year-old daughter and say it’s  ‘healthy for their relationship’.

The mum who gives her child to her mother-in-law every weekend

The parents spend time during the week with their two-year old daughter Violet, but she is taken care of by Rachel’s mother-in-law from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning, every weekend.

Rachael truly believes that by having every weekend together, the couple is protecting their marriage. They also have a chance to catch up on their energy and are ready for the busy week ahead with their little girl.

Rachel said: Every weekend Violet goes to Mish’s mum’s house, and we get our weekend to ourselves. I think that’s incredibly healthy for the relationship. And on Sunday, when we pick her up, we have 100% energy back.”
Rachael has hit back at all those who criticised her parenting after the story was published in a newspaper.

Rachel posted to a social media app and said:

“A Mother should never be made to feel they are not good enough for their child when they are doing everything they can to keep them safe, happy and loved. Only the parents of a child truly know what is best and should always have faith in their decisions.

I value dearly the relationship Violet has with her Grandmother and I believe this is one of the most important and influential relationships growing up.
I work hard so that I can provide the best future for the amazing soul we have created. I won’t ever stop believing in her or the strength of the family unit.”

In response, many pointed out that a mother would not be criticised for sending her child to a childminder or nursery during the week. One wrote:
“Some people are happy being part-time parents and that’s ok! As long as the child is healthy and happy who are we to judge!”, whilst others have asked what they plan to do when the girl attends school, how will they spend time with her then.

What do you think? Could you be away from your child every weekend, or is this precious family time?

  • Dad Tearfully Kisses Daughter Goodbye

If there is such a thing as mother’s instinct, a mum named Sanda Alibabic doesn’t have any of it.

The Slovenian woman, along with her new boyfriend Mirzan Jakupi, are now being accused of murdering her daughter.

Alibabic decided to leave her husband, Senad Kardasevic, last year to be with Jakupi. This left the divorced couple co-parenting their little daughter, Arina.

    Dad Tearfully Kisses Daughter Goodbye

Meanwhile, Alibabic and Jakupi moved in together. A short while into their new arrangement, Kardasevic began to notice bruises, scratches and marks on his daughter.

Of course, every child gets bruises from playing and general clumsiness, but these seemed more sinister and deliberate. The little girls dad reported this to local child protective services but nothing came of it.

Social services were unable to find any evidence of abuse and dropped the case. Unfortunately, the situation soon escalated.

Kardasevic was on his way to visit his precious little girl Arina when he received the worst phone call of his life. On the other end of the line, doctors were telling him that Arina was in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

Her mother, Alibabic, had called an ambulance claiming that the toddler had run into a radiator. But Arina’s broken bones and bruises told a different, much more harrowing story.

Doctors at the hospital did everything they could to save Arina. Meanwhile, they called the police, leading to the arrest of the despicably abusive couple.

    Dad Tearfully Kisses Daughter Goodbye
Two days later, Arina passed away from her injuries. Her father sat by her and kissed her as the precious two-year-old took her last breaths.

The dad wants to raise awareness of child abuse and wants social services to investigate claims of child abuse more seriously, if they had his precious little girl would still be here.

  • I Lock My Husband Up At Night For Our Safety

I lock my husband up at night for our safety.

I Lock My Husband Up At Night For Our Safety and his , I have lost family and so-called friends by staying with him.

I met my husband when i was 19 after a whirlwind romance by 21 we were married and had our first baby on the way.
My husband Kieran is two years my senior and a wonderful man barring one issue…

My husband is a sex addict and to make matters worse a sleep-walker or so I thought.

My husband would have sex with me whilst I was asleep and have absoluetly no memory of it in the morning, at first I felt violated and used, my husband was worried and sought advice from his Gp.

My husband underwent sleep tests and after months of tests was diagnosed with a condition called Sleep sex, or sexsomnia, this is where a person will engage in sexual activities whilst asleep.

One night he sleepwalked in the middle of the night and I wasn’t in the bed, I caught him trying to have sex with the family dog, Belle our golden Labrador.

On another occasion he was playing with himself in my sons bedroom (luckily our child was fast asleep).

He has tried all treatment available, medications, counselling, alternative therapies but nothing has worked.
My husband feels ashamed of himself and suffers from depression due to his condition.

Family and friends have said he’s just a dirty pervert, but he is really not.

I Lock My Husband Up At Night For Our Safety, the only way we have found to keep him, our children, pets and others safe is by locking him in his room at night.
This has put strain on our marriage, a husband and wife should share a bed, but I love him and will always stand by him.

Am I wrong for standing by the man I love and thefather of my children?
