Thomas Markle has reignited tensions with his daughter Meghan Markle, claiming she has ‘never been authentic’ and accusing her of using ‘pre-planned expressions’ to shape her public image.

As per GB News, the Duchess of Sussex’s father slammed her daughter after the release of her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan.

He labelled his daughter "inauthentic" and alleged her of using "pre-planned" facial expressions during the show.

The American Director has seen "a ton of clips" of the show, but he did not watch the full series.

Thomas Markle told Dailymail, "I might sit down and watch it one day but I'm not sure."

He added, "Unfortunately Meghan has never been authentic. She has to think about everything. She's not spontaneous.”

"Everything she says is pre-planned and rehearsed. It makes me laugh because I know all her looks and expressions,” Meghan’s estranged father noted.

Highlighting Meghan's fake expression, he said, "I know when she's faking it for the cameras. She's trying so hard to be perfect that she tenses up every time the camera is on her."

Thomas Markle also noted, "Cooking shows are horrendously boring unless the presenter has a passion for it.”

He continued, "You have to be authentic to hold people's attention. When you are stuffing the turkey's a*** it has to look like you're having fun doing it.”

Notably, Meghan’s father Thomas Markle shared his candid reaction after it was revealed on Friday that a second series of With Love, Meghan has already been filmed and will release in fall.

Amy Robach recently revealed that her mother was convinced she and T.J. Holmes had secretly tied the knot.

Speaking to PEOPLE at Cirque Du Soleil’s Luzia N.Y.C. Premiere, they shared that many people speculate about the status of their relationship, especially her mother.

Robach said, “The truth is my mom even asked me [if we were married] because we wear our [fitness tracking] Oura Rings.”

The 42-year-old added, “She thought that maybe we had actually gotten married and not told her, and just were wearing our rings on the other finger. I was like, ‘Mom, I would definitely tell you if that were the case.’”

“We’re not going to do that, Mom,” Holmes also articulated, taking part in the conversation.

Robach went on to admit that they are focused on their respective kids right now, saying, “There is no date” for a wedding.

For the unversed, Holmes had previously opened up about their relationship to the same outlet and stated, “We just know each other so well for so long. We’ve been best friends for so long. We spend so much time together. I don’t think there was a surprise of any kind.”

“I think the only surprise for me is that he has to sleep with the television on at all times. I did not know that. How would I know that if we were just friends? So, that was the biggest surprise that I have now gotten used to. I’ve moved over from white noise to television,” Robach mentioned at that time.

Notably, Holmes and Robach were first rumored to be dating in November 2022 when they worked together on GMA3: What You Need to Know on ABC.

However, they later confirmed their relationship on their podcast and appeared on the red carpet together the next year.

“Mom, I need to tell you something.”

If you’re a work-from-home mom, you’ve likely heard this phrase a million times, as your child – no hesitation – interrupts your train of thought, your creative flow, or even an important transatlantic video call. Unexpected disruptions, delivered with varying degrees of diplomacy, are a daily reality for those working from home, even when kids are surrounded by peers or older carers. A tooth that suddenly wiggles, a secret that needs to be shared immediately, or a noise from the neighboring apartment that must be investigated – these are just a few of the inventive scenarios my daughter dreams up to get me to look away from my computer.

These thoughts cross my mind as I head downtown with her on the last day of the Christmas break. Our destination is the WHEN Hub, just a four-minute walk from Omonia station. Will we both be able to have a productive four-hour stretch under the same roof?

Parents at work

It’s about 10.30 a.m. and the “mini-hub” is welcoming its visitors. Anna Konstantinou, a play facilitator and the mini-hub’s operations manager, goes over the rules: Children join in activities while their parent or guardian works within the building. They can take breaks to check in with their parent, have a snack or rest. On the third floor of the neoclassical building, there is a specially designed parent-child room.

“We call it the nursing or isolation room, but it’s designed to meet any needs children might have at this age, such as taking a moment to calm down away from the others’ gaze,” explains Iphigenia Papamikroulea, the hub’s manager.

Playtime during this pilot phase runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the team accommodating up to eight children at a time. “I have five experienced volunteers who support the program in shifts throughout the day to meet the needs of children of all ages,” says Konstantinou.

The separation process is generally smooth. “Even preschoolers are usually familiar with these kinds of routines – they’ve been to play centers, parties or extracurricular activities. Of course, we give them time to adjust when needed.”

And that’s exactly how it goes with my daughter, who sends me off to work before I can even say goodbye.

With my daughter’s approval, I settle into an office space on the first floor, where two other adults are already working. If I am needed, I’ll be notified by phone or SMS. So, I get to work transcribing an interview, aiming to finish within an hour. At noon, I have a scheduled video call with an overseas source.

At WHEN Hub, in addition to co-working desks, meeting rooms, small-team offices, a podcast studio and common areas (kitchens and restrooms on each floor), there’s a dedicated phone booth. This comes in handy – I can talk freely without disturbing anyone and catch every word of the conversation.

It’s now 1 p.m. and I haven’t been interupted once!

Equality and empowerment

I use this “window of opportunity” to refill my coffee cup and chat with the mastermind behind WHEN Hub and co-founder of Women on Top, Stella Kasdagli. Women on Top is an organization working for the economic and professional empowerment of women and for gender equality and inclusion in the workplace.

“The need for a co-working space with parallel activities for toddlers and children occurred to me in 2015 when I was pregnant with my second daughter. I started researching similar spaces abroad,” she says.

Indeed, such spaces were slowly starting to appear in Europe and the US at that time. “Some were nonprofits, others weren’t. The most interesting model I found was in Paris, funded by state vouchers.”

As time went on, working conditions shifted drastically and remote work grew globally. According to Statista, in 2023, 8.9% of workers in the EU worked from home, with women leading at 9.5%.

“We’re trying to find a balance so that the initiative is financially sustainable while keeping our services affordable,” Kasdagli explains. WHEN Hub was made possible with significant support from the Alliance for Gender Equality in Europe, which includes the Bodossaki Foundation, as well as financial backing from The Hellenic Initiative, various companies and individual donors.

“We serve parents working remotely for large companies, freelancers, small teams without their own office, Women on Top beneficiaries, and many digital nomads who’ve embraced our initiative,” she adds.

The hub was created to promote gender equality and empower women, as reflected in its full name: Women’s Hub for Empowerment & Networking. However, it’s also open to men, whether they’re parents or not.

The location was thoughtfully selected to benefit all city residents equally. The WHEN Hub team is working on additional changes to make the space even more parent- and child-friendly, like extending the mini-hub’s hours, offering bundled services, and partnering with large companies to “rent” desks for their employees.

Wrapping up

It’s now 2 p.m. I’ve finished my tasks, but the same doesn’t apply to the mini-hub participants’ schedule, which started with painting and Play-Doh and concluded with Sudoku, memory games and Lego. So, I patiently wait for my daughter until 3 p.m., and we leave after I assure her we’ll return soon.

As Chris and Katherine adjust their life with a newborn, parenting expert Alicia Eaton offered some advice to the new parents.

Speaking with Hello! Magazine, she said, “The arrival of a new baby inevitably means an increased workload for parents and with each additional child, parents naturally have less time and attention to devote to any one of them.”

“But rather than making things more stressful, studies show that parents adopt a more relaxed, laid-back approach the more children they have,” the expert added.

However, Alicia noted, “Having gained valuable experience, parents are often more confident and relaxed with the youngest child, no longer feeling the same pressure to get everything right.”

It is worth mentioning that the Marvel star, who is currently busy promoting his Netflix film, The Electric State, and the American author, are also parents to daughters Lyla, 3, and Eloise, 5.

Lisowski, 33, paid tribute to his “idol” with a social media post sharing some of recent moments they spent together.

He wrote: “Last week, my Dad passed away, whilst walking up the hill on a sunny day.

“He was one of my best friends and my idol.

“The pain of losing him is hard to describe but I also feel so so lucky to have had him in my life for 33 years and spent so much time with him – especially the last few years.

“He showed me what unconditional love is and gave my sister, my mum and myself the best life imaginable. I took the first three photos with him last month and was going to put them up in a photo dump with other stuff eventually, but I guess this post is just for him now.

“Dad, there are no words I can use to do you justice. You were a f**** legend… until we meet again… Rest in peace.”

A mother has been left ‘heartbroken’ after she was told to stump up £110,000 for medical repatriation after her toddler daughter suffered a horror brain haemorrhage while on holiday in Mexico.

Natasha Sargeant’s daughter, Sienna-Rose, from Croxteth, Liverpool, who is just 19 months old, suffered a brain haemorrhage and swelling while on holiday in Cancun.

The toddler suddenly collapsed whilst playing with her brothers and received life-saving surgery to remove a blood clot.

She was rushed to three different hospitals before being accepted for treatment, during which she vomited about 50 times.

Doctors were only able to remove part of the clotting, and a blood clot remains in the left part of her brain.

The family, who are unaware if there will be lasting brain damage, are desperate to return to the UK for better medical treatment – but remain stuck in Mexico after the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) told them they must fund their own medical flight, costing upwards of £110,000.

The FCDO told the worried family they couldn’t afford to repatriate them and instead said they would compile a list of charities they could approach for help.

Natasha Sargeant told MailOnline it was ‘heartbreaking’ when she heard the FCDO could not repatriate her sick daughter.

‘The baby’s life is in danger. I would expect something to be in place for this. There should be something available. There’s now the added stress of trying to raise funds.

‘I don’t want to lose her in another country.’

The mother-of-three said she was quoted £110,000 for a private flight this morning.

They have also been charged £4,000 a night at the Mexican hospital.

‘The costs are not viable,’ Ms Sargeant said. ‘I work in the UK on a minimum wage in a hospital. We have already paid £12,000 and that is before the flight.’

The family took out travel insurance but it was rendered invalid.

A GoFundMe page has been set up by her sister-in-law Amy McFadden, which has so far raised £17,500.

Ms McFadden, told MailOnline: ‘We just want to get them home. It’s horrible them being so far away.

‘It’s a living nightmare. You never think this would happen to your family. It just doesn’t feel real. We’re all in turmoil.’

She described Sienna-Rose as the ‘happiest little girl you’d ever meet’.

Less than a year ago the toddler was in hospital because of swollen lymph nodes. ‘The whole time she was smiling and laughing,’ Ms McFadden said.

Treatment at the Cancun hospital is inferior to in the UK and the longer Sienna-Rose stays the more she is deteriorating, according to her mother.

‘It is a fight every day for antibiotics,’ she said. ‘We have to ask for everything here including paracetamol. There has been none on site so I have been forced to rush out.

Ms Sargeant and Mr Millen are taking turns by the child’s bedside as only one person is allowed in the hospital at a time

‘In the UK you don’t even need to ask and they will provide you with the right medicine and blood tests.

‘They are now trying to discharge her so there is space for other babies. But she can barely stand up or speak. It’s a fight to prevent her being discharged. At home they would make sure she has had rehab and it fit before leaving.

‘She can’t even sit up now and there’s no plan once she is discharged’.

Ms Sargeant was on holiday with her partner Liam Millen, 39, and children Harry, 13, Liam, 11, when Sienna-Rose collapsed.

Only one person is allowed at the hospital at a time, meaning the pair are taking turns by the child’s bedside and looking after her brothers.

A FCDO Spokesperson said: ‘We are supporting the family of a British child in hospital in Mexico, and are in touch with the local authorities.’

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – For some parents, getting started with helping their child with a disability may be difficult.

“When we have that experience and we realize our child has a disability, it comes with a lot of emotions and a lot of uncertainty. We don’t know how life is going to be,” said Rosalba Calleros, the executive director of Texas Parent to Parent.

Saturday, nearly 20 groups came together at the Career and Technology Center in Tyler for the parent to parent conference, to help parents who may be looking to learn more about the resources available for them and their child.

“When i walked in and saw the amount of resources that are actually available for families who have children with special needs, it just gave me a lot of hope,” said Lisa Massey, a parent and volunteer at the event.

Massey has three children with differing disabilities, all who are either adults or nearing adulthood.

However, the journey hear was not easy Massey says, and at times she worried if she could find the proper care for them.

“It is incredibly difficult to help a child with special needs, because you dont know how to help them. So most of the time it feels pretty helpless and hopeless,” said Massey.

Being a part of the event today, she says the resources available now would have helped her significantly when first starting her journey of helping her children.

“Most of us dont have enough time to brush our teeth, so we almost need an event like this so that we can get the resources quickly that we need,” said Massey.

Calleros says Texas Parent to Parent is looking to establish online parent to parent support groups across East Texas.

“I’m just really excited and can’t wait for it to happen.

“A parent shapes you. If you haven’t got a good upbringing, you can still end up being a good person but if you’ve got good parents, like we have, you’re going out into life [with] a massive head start.”

He continued: “My dad is everything you’d dream [of] in a dad.

A MAN has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his partner at her home in Birmingham.

Anthony Hoey stabbed Frances Dwyer to death at her home in Tile Cross in the early hours of March 30, 2024.

On Wednesday, March 5, the 50-year-old — dubbed a ‘monster’ by his victim’s family — was told he must serve a minimum term of 21 years in prison.

Following his sentencing, Ms Dwyer’s family described her as a ‘beautiful mother and daughter’.

After fatally attacking mother-of-two Ms Dwyer, Hoey fled the address in his victim’s car before being pursued by officers after it had been reported stolen a week earlier.

The car eventually came to a stop after it was stung by traffic officers and Hoey was detained after being Tasered.

He had claimed to be armed with a gun, however, this was a lie.

Following his arrest, officers attended Ms Dwyer’s home where the 48-year-old was found dead.

She had been stabbed by Hoey more than a dozen times.

On February 6, Hoey pleaded guilty to the murder of Ms Dwyer, as well as two counts of theft, aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving.

‘We can finally grieve in peace’

In a tribute to Ms Dwyer, her family said they took comfort in knowing she is watching over them.

“No amount of time will be justice for what happened to our mom and daughter,” read the statement from Ms Dwyer’s family.

“It’s almost a year since that monster took her life and it still hurts us every single day.

“We finally have some closure today, as we see that man be sentenced.

“We can finally grieve in peace without the stress of court dates and what’s going to happen.

“As a family we would like to thank everyone who has supported us through this terrible time.

“A message to our beautiful mother and daughter in heaven — you are always in our hearts and thought about every single day.

“A piece of us will always be missing, but we know you’re watching over us and keeping us safe.”
