Understood to be following in his father’s footsteps, young Levi has slowly started to immerse himself in the acting world as of late. He is set to make his on-screen debut in the upcoming film Way of the Warrior Kid.

On the red carpet in Austin, Levi told Today that his dad gave him “a lot of advice” and was a “mentor” in many different ways.

“But I’d say the main thing for acting, and pardon my French, is no bulls*** in your bones and own what you’re doing and make a choice regardless if that ends up being the right one or the wrong one – commit to it and know what you’re saying.”

Speaking earlier to People, Oscar-winner Matthew also gave his son some advice on how to navigate his early career, telling him to “not be afraid” to make a fool of himself.

“I did it plenty of times, and it’s a lot easier to go big and come back down to reality than it is to come in under and push it to more energy later,” Matthew said.

“It’s a lot easier to go big, make a fool of yourself, get embarrassed, and then bring it down to reality than it is to start with low energy and go, hey, we need more”.

Last year, he also told People that having children had made him a better artist and a better actor.

“Kids see things for the first time all the time. Their questions are innocent. I’ve become a better storyteller because I have kids,” he said.

A pregnant teenager in Brazil had her unborn child cut from her womb by a sick woman who lured her with the promise of free baby clothes, authorities said.

The body of Emilly Sena, who was nine months pregnant, was found buried in the backyard belonging to married couple Nataly Pereira, 25, and Christian de Arruda, 28, on Thursday according to local authorities.

The couple was initially arrested at a local hospital in Cuiabá, Brazil while trying to register the baby as their own.

Although the couple was suspected of working together, Pereira coldly confessed to stealing the baby and killing Sena, 16, alone, according to Brazilian outlet g1.

Pereira had recently suffered a miscarriage – but didn’t tell her family.

Through WhatsApp, Pereira invited Sena to come over Wednesday and pick up free baby clothes Pereira claimed she had.

The alleged killer even paid for Sena’s transportation. 

“She said she had received a lot of baby clothes and wanted to donate some to Emilly,” Sena’s distraught mother Ana Paula Meridiane said to g1.

The victim’s body was found with cuts and she was strangled and hanged with internet cables, Police Chief Caio Alexandre said.

“T-shaped” marks on her abdomen indicated that she was still alive when the baby was taken with a “bladed weapon,” he said. 

Sena tried to defend herself but died due to blood loss.

When Pereira arrived at the hospital claiming the baby had been born at home, medical staff were suspicious of the alleged baby-snatcher’s condition and took the newborn and tested her.

Results showed she was never pregnant.

Her lawyers said she’d suffered a miscarriage about six months ago and went on pretending like she was still pregnant.

“This would be the second time she had had a miscarriage and so she decided to maintain this false pregnancy,” they said.

“According to calculations, this daughter she had lost would have been born during this period.”

De Arruda said that he believed his wife had given birth and did not know about Sena’s murder according to investigators.

He had even shared a photo on social media after the birth, announcing he had just become a dad.

The nightmare is still being investigated by Brazil’s Homicide and Personal Protection Division and De Arruda, who had not been charged, and two other suspects will face more questioning.

“The investigation is still on site to find out the dynamics of what happened,” Alexandre said.

Chris Eubank Jr has accused Conor Benn of putting a ‘black mark’ against his family’s name ahead of their grudge match on April 26.

Eubank Jr and Benn’s fathers, Chris Sr and Nigel, famously fought each other twice in the 1990s, and the family rivalry is set to continue next month at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But they were due to fight each other in October 2022, only for the domestic dust-up to be cancelled in fight week after Benn failed two drugs tests.

Two-and-a-half years later, they will finally meet in the ring, but Eubank Jr is still angry about Benn testing positive, and believes he has severely tainted his father’s legacy. 

An interview with Eubank Jr and Benn was aired on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Friday night, and the latter admitted his dad had struggled to come to terms with the news of his failed tests.

At this point, Eubank Jr interrupted to say: ‘His father’s upset more than him because he’s destroyed his father’s legacy. He’s put a black mark against the Benn name.’

Nigel was a two-weight world champion, winning 42 of his 48 professional bouts and becoming a household name thanks to his ferocious fighting style.

But Eubank Jr now feels there should be question marks about whether Nigel also ‘cheated’, as he suggested that Conor may have been following his father’s lead.

‘The worst thing Conor’s done is put question marks against the Benn name, because as they say “like father, like son”,’ Eubank Jr added.

‘So if he’s capable of cheating, did his father cheat? That’s now the question that arises. I don’t believe his father didn’t know what he was doing. I just don’t believe it. 

‘So that means that Nigel Benn could have been capable of doing the same thing in his career. That’s the question that has now arisen because of what he did.’

This is not the first time Eubank Jr has hit out at his rival’s dad in recent times.

After Eubank Jr smashed an egg into Conor’s face at the launch press conference for their fight last month, Nigel grabbed Eubank Jr by the throat.

At a subsequent press conference two days later, Eubank Jr addressed the incident as he sent out a chilling warning to Benn Sr.

‘You did put your hand on my neck. I’m going to give you a pass because of what happened,’ Eubank Jr said.

‘I’m just letting you know that if your hand ever touches me again, you won’t get it back.’

That prompted an immediate reaction from Conor who shouted out: ‘Shut your f***ing mouth. Threaten my dad again and watch what happens to you.’

On Monday, a sombre Patrick led mourners as he carried his mother’s coffin at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Dundrum, Co Down, where she was described as a “brilliant mammy”.

Mary Kielty was also remembered as a resilient woman whose life changed following the death of her husband, Jack, who was shot dead by the Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) in 1988.

Mary died peacefully at home in Dundrum on Saturday aged 84.

At the beginning of Friday’s show which was celebrating all things Irish ahead of Monday’s religious and cultural holiday, Patrick Kielty said: “When you’re called Patrick, St Patrick’s day is always special.

“And the person I have to thank for that, and so much more, is mum.

“Sadly we lost her last weekend and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took care of her and took care of our family this week.

“My mum watched this show religiously and she loved it so much she still kept watching even after I got the gig.

“In over 50 years Mary never missed a Late Late Show and there was no way she’d want me to miss this one for her tonight.”

With his voice breaking with emotion, he added: “And so I couldn’t be prouder to stand here and say: this one’s for you, Mary. Welcome to the Late Late Show.”

Todd and Julie Chrisley‘s imprisonment has had a major impact on their entire family.

Nearly two years after their August 2019 indictment, Todd, 55, and Julie, 52, were found guilty of fraud and tax evasion. They were later sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison (which has since been reduced) before reporting to prison in January 2023.

The longtime couple has vehemently denied all wrongdoing and at this time, are seeking alternative methods for their release.

“My family, in general, we thought it was going to end differently,” their daughter Savannah Chrisley tells PEOPLE exclusively. “We really thought it would end differently. We had lawyers who had told us it was going to end differently. We stood in the truth,  and we stood in what we knew to be the truth.”

Amid their imprisonment, Savannah stepped up to raise her younger siblings Grayson, 18, and Chloe, 12. It’s been hard on the Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast host, who notes that she’s “struggled” and has “had to work multiple jobs” to keep them afloat. However, she recognizes things haven’t been easy on other family members during this time, including Grayson.

“He had to grow up so fast and I hate it,” she explains. “But at the same time, this whole situation has taught him how cruel the world can be, and how you have to protect yourself. And as cruel as it’s been, he also has kept this softness about him, and he’s in therapy every single week. I just love to see the heart that he has, and how he’s shown up.”

“That’s how you want any man in your life to be is to show up for you and show up well, and show up even when they get it wrong. He’s learning those lessons at 16 years old, when all this happened. And now he’s 18, and it’s just, I could not be more proud,” she adds.

Savannah notes that “so many times,” Grayson has said to her: “‘You saved me. I don’t know where I would be without you. I don’t know what Chloe and I would’ve done without you.’”

“He says that. But I look at him and I’m like, he saved me more times than I  can count,” the Good Girl RX creator says.

Still, Savannah, Chloe and Grayson are trying to make the best of their situation. When it comes to Grayson, in particular, he left home earlier this year to begin his higher education journey at the University of Alabama. He aspires to be a sports agent.

“Grayson is thriving at college. He absolutely loves it,” Savannah shares. “As it got closer, he was like, ‘I don’t know if I can do this. I don’t want to do this.’ He was so afraid of leaving me because he knew just how helpful he was to me, and how we just have this bond together. I looked at him, I was like, ‘It’s okay.’”

“I was like, ‘I promise you, I’m going to be fine. I want you to go to college. I want you to follow your dreams. I want you to get a college education, and do what you want to do,’” she continues. “He wants to go into sports management. He wants to be an agent. He loves sports. And watching him speak about sports, it lights up his whole world.”

The Growing Up Chrisley star adds, “I want him to find happiness and a sense of self, and fulfillment. I want him to be so proud of the person that he is.”

Aristocrat Constance Marten returned to court to see haunting security camera pictures capturing the final days of her tragic baby Victoria’s brief life.

Marten, 37, and her partner Mark Gordon, 50, are accused of the manslaughter of baby Victoria, who died after they went off-grid and slept in a tent on the South Downs in early 2023.

Having not attended their retrial yesterday (Thursday 13 March), Marten alone returned to the Central Criminal Court, better known as the Old Bailey, in London, today when the last clear CCTV footage of Victoria was played.

From the dock, Marten watched intently as a screen showed pictures of her child being put in a buggy in a German Doner Kebab shop in East Ham on Saturday 7 January 2023.

The baby could be seen wearing a white babygrow with a brown motif on it – and Joel Smith, prosecuting, noted that the child had “no hat, no coat, no gloves”.

Detective Constable Martha Bourne, who was giving evidence in court, agreed.

The defendants were wearing coats and had their faces obscured by hoods and covid masks.

The buggy had just been purchased by Gordon at Argos but was abandoned before the couple left London for the south coast, jurors were told.

A similar buggy had been sourced by investigators with a red hood and muff and was shown to jurors.

It is alleged that Marten carried the child in her arms underneath her coat – and at times put her in a Lidl “bag for life” which the defendants deny.

The court was told how Marten caught the eye of Nichola Hutton as she travelled through East Ham on a bus.

Wearing a scruffy burgundy coat and red scarf and standing outside a shop, the witness thought the woman might be homeless or have mental health problems, jurors were told.

In a statement read to the court, Ms Hutton said that it looked like the woman, she later recognised as Marten from a news report, had something wrapped in her coat.

At first, she thought she was hiding stolen goods or was holding a pet, but said: “In hindsight, I think it could have been a baby.”

She added that she thought it was “strange” that Marten had a bright red scarf wrapped around her hair and nose “as it was not that cold outside”.

Jurors were previously told how an urgent missing persons inquiry had been prompted when the defendants fled their car after it burst into flames on the M61 near Bolton, Greater Manchester, on Thursday 5 January 2023.

They abandoned their belongings, including baby clothes, but left behind a placenta wrapped in a towel which alerted police to Victoria’s existence.

The prosecution has alleged that the couple failed to provide adequate clothes for baby Victoria and that she either died from hypothermia or was smothered as they slept in a “flimsy” tent.

Baby Victoria’s decomposed body was found inside a shopping bag with rubbish – in a disused shed – after the defendants were arrested in Brighton on Monday 27 February 2023.

Marten and Gordon, of no fixed address, have denied the gross negligence manslaughter of their daughter and causing or allowing her death between Wednesday 4 January and Monday 27 February 2023.

Jurors have been told that the defendants were convicted at an earlier trial of concealing the birth of a child and perverting the course of justice.

The Old Bailey retrial continues.

BEER-DRINKING blokes tend to be more fertile and father more children, a study shows.

Enjoying an occasional pint seems to improve the chances of would-be dads, a study of couples having IVF found.

Moderate consumption — rated as one unit a day, or half a pint — can have a positive effect.

The study, which contradicts medical advice that hopeful parents should quit booze, was carried out at Harvard University in the US.

A team studied data from 296 couples and grouped the men based on their tea, coffee, beer, spirits and fizzy pop consumption.

Highest pregnancy rates were in those who drank least coffee and most beer — 60 and 59 per cent, respectively.

Study author Professor Jorge Chavarro said: “We found that . . .  beer intake was positively associated with the probability of a live birth.

“Coffee or tea with caffeine, and liquor, had the reverse association.”

The reason was “unclear”, he said, but beer drinkers may be healthy in other ways and moderate consumption is unlikely to change semen.

The NHS suggests couples trying for a baby should limit themselves to six units per week — less than half the usual 14.

A spokesman said: “Ideally people should avoid alcohol completely.

“Excessive alcohol reduces fertility and damages sperm.”

In no imaginable universe would I ever put myself forward for a reality TV show.

OK, maybe Gogglebox, but that’s only because, like most Australians, I fancy that I’m an undiscovered stand-up comedian and also because it’s a job I could do sitting on the couch eating crisps. I was born for that.

But certainly, none of the rest of them and especially not the one show that my son has positively nagged us to go on: the infrequently broadcast gladiatorial parenting show, Parental Guidance, in which families with self-described distinct parenting styles battle each other to be recognised as best practice.

There’s the authoritarian, the free range, the spiritual and the “team” styles, among many others. They all have their eyebrow raising eccentricities and their advantages. But the one thing they all have in common is that parenting and being devoted to their children — even the free range ones — is the centre of their lives.

Not for them the family life of my generation: harried parents who kicked you out of the house after breakfast and didn’t expect to see you ’til dinner, and who would be speechless if you looked to them to not only feed and house you, but also advise, entertain, comfort and “snowplough” for you.

This approach to child rearing lands as indulgent, disabling and preposterous to parents from a time when reproduction was just that — making more humans until they left home and made more humans themselves. Such parenting is blamed for pampered young adults who “fail to launch” and many apparently less independent young adults.

Child rearing as a lifestyle

So this is where new surveys by the Pew Research Centre in the US land with an unexpectedly happy thud, showing that yes, many parents are highly involved in their young adult children’s lives but the clear majority of them, and their children, are very happy about it.

Further, the surveys show that these kids are nonetheless achieving certain milestones of independence even while they remain closely connected to their parents.

A cluster of interdependent changes have aided the shift: tech and telephony advancements that make staying in touch cheaper and easier; changing gender roles and expectations that have seen more fathers taking on (some) greater caregiving responsibilities; and the major social change of the abandonment of authoritarianism as the prevailing parental style.

Not that every parent wants to be a best friend, but I’d wager that very few wield the straps that were common in my generation’s households.

Child rearing is now an entire way of life. It’s a choice and an embrace of making a highly connected life with the humans you create because, if it works, it brings mutual joy and closeness. It’s the same reason why many people are very reasonably opting not to have children: it’s not just because of the cost, it’s because the expectation is now of a continuing close and committed life experience that isn’t for everyone.

Now, you don’t have to yell — I can hear your groans from here, accusing modern parenting of creating a generation that lacks grit or life skills. And yes, I’ve also seen the less healthy side of parental over-involvement that rivals even the Boomers in its desperate desire to be seen as persistently youthful.

But it is sneaky sophistry to argue this and airily ignore the economic realities that underpin this complete change in parenting. I could — and did — run out the door with my sister at the age of 19, with zero money in the bank but three casual shifts at Woolworths in my diary — and make a go of it.

Somewhere deep inside, my angry parents knew that too: my sister and I would be able to ask the world to provide for us if we offered the fair exchange of our labour.

But that was at a time when mortgage — or rent — requirements sat at about 30 per cent of my income, and I was on a pauper’s wage: a full-time university student supporting myself on three five-hour shifts.

In the early ’60s, household debt-to-income ratios were around 20 per cent; they crept up a little for me in the ’80s: now they sit at around 190 per cent — that’s an increase of 850 per cent over my lifetime. With all other costs hurtling skyward as well.

And while Australia never broadcast the classic New York city television PSA asking if you knew where your kids were at 10pm, that would have been a reasonable question in my youth. Maybe I was in bed; or maybe I’d crammed myself into a friend’s brother’s Torana and we were hightailing it to the Crystal Ballroom in St Kilda to try to sneak past security. We were 16.

You can never escape your own past

The shadow cast by that sort of history provides the other, more heartening side of the discussion, which is: What’s the point of doing this at all if you don’t really do it?

The Pew research records parents noting that they like their kids, that they are fun to be with. The kids said they value the advice and life experience their parents share with them.

Oddly, all of this sounds more like a much older, pre-Boomer way of growing up, when generations shared houses and helped each other grow up.

But you can never quite escape your own past. There’s a part of me that cringes when I hear dads describe their grown sons as their “best mate” and the enmeshed mother/daughter relationship can truly be one of the most toxic. But then, that’s what a kid from the “do you know where your children are” generation would say, isn’t it?

If the alternative is a staunch and loving parent who is always in your corner and always up for a coffee, a yoga session and a bit of advice, it’s hard to see the downside.

The 38-year-old singer – born Casandra Elizabeth Ventura – announced the sex of the third child she is expecting with husband Alex Fine as the two already share daughters, Frankie, five, and Sunny, three.

The Me & U hitmaker took to Instagram to share a sweet gallery of photos to mark her partner’s 32nd birthday along with the reveal that they are expecting a baby boy.

The emotional post also included a major family update—Cassie revealed that she and Fine are expecting a baby boy, after first announcing her pregnancy in February.

The 38-year-old singer – born Casandra Elizabeth Ventura – announced the sex of the third child she is expecting with husband Alex Fine as the two already share daughters, Frankie, five, and Sunny, three

Cassie and Alex, who tied the knot in 2019, first sparked romance rumors in December 2018, just two months after she confirmed her split from Diddy. 

The happy news comes as her legal team is pushing back against Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ claim that the recently surfaced hotel surveillance video—showing him assaulting her—is edited.

Her attorney Douglas Wigdor insists the footage is authentic and expects it to be admitted as evidence in Diddy’s upcoming trial.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, Wigdor dismissed Diddy’s argument, saying, ‘It’s not surprising Diddy would make a disingenuous argument to exclude the disturbing video from being shown to the jury in the upcoming trial.’

He added, ‘I am confident that the video fairly and accurately represents what happened, will be admitted into evidence, and that Combs will be held accountable for his depravity.’

Diddy’s team claims CNN altered and destroyed the original footage, arguing for its exclusion in court, but Cassie’s camp expects the motion to be denied.

‘Our written and oral communications with CNN’s counsel was clear – they destroyed the original video file they received from their source,’ read a statement from Diddy’s legal team issued to Dailymail.com Thursday evening. 

CNN denied the claims made by Combs that the clip was edited to make him look worse.

‘CNN never altered the video and did not destroy the original copy of the footage, which was retained by the source,’ a network spokesperson told TMZ. ‘CNN aired the story about the video several months before Combs was arrested.

While Diddy is not facing criminal charges for the assault seen in the footage, federal prosecutors intend to use it to support allegations of his history of violence.

The disgraced rapper, 54, is currently behind bars after he was charged with a host of sex trafficking and racketeering offenses following his September 16 arrest. 

As it stands, he will remain in prison ahead of his May 2025 trial. 

Cassie played a pivotal role in the downfall of Diddy after she accused him of repeated physical abuse and rape in a bombshell $30million lawsuit. 

She had been in a long-term on-off relationship with Combs for 11 years.

 They secretly started dating in 2007, two years after first meeting when Cassie was just 19. Their romance became public knowledge in 2012 and they split six years later in 2018.

Cassie filed a lawsuit against Combs for ‘rape, and of repeated physical abuse over about a decade’ on November 16, 2023, which indirectly explained her musical elusiveness.

In the filing, she claimed that just before the end of their relationship, he forced his way into her home and raped her.

Her lawsuit described in detail how he allegedly drugged her, intimidated her and forced her to have sex with male sex workers in front of him throughout their romance.

Combs settled the case just one day later.

In March, shocking surveillance footage emerged, showing Combs violently attacking Cassie at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

Combs, wearing only a towel, can be seen chasing her down the hall before grabbing her at the back of the head and slamming her into the ground.

Cassie addressed the chilling video in a statement, which read: ‘Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet. 

‘The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only the beginning. 

‘Domestic Violence is the issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.’

At the time of Combs’ arrest, a source close to Cassie said it had not been a cause for celebration for her.

‘She is relieved that the case has escalated but she isn’t celebrating,’ the insider told DailyMail.com.

‘She is upset that people didn’t listen to other alleged victims in the 90s because she would have been spared.’

‘Cassie is taking time away to focus on her peace because the details of the case are triggering,’ the source added.

She was also said to be ‘hurt’ by the baby oil jokes and memes made after Federal agents claimed they confiscated ‘1,000 bottles’ of baby oil and lubricant from Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles – believed to be used in his ‘Freak Offs.’

In November, Combs’ defense attorneys claimed the security video of Combs attacking Cassie was ‘edited’. 

Federal prosecutors cited the video as evidence that Combs was sex trafficking Ventura, as well as the danger he could pose to other women if released on bail.

But the music mogul’s defense attorneys hit back, arguing the prosecution used a ‘manipulated version’ of the footage and ‘invented’ the narrative being told in court, ABC News reported.

The defense said the video did not show a ‘freak off’, a term referring to Combs’ long-rumored sex parties, but instead a domestic dispute in which the rapper ran down the hallway to recover his cellphone and clothing.

Combs’ lawyers argued that ‘more complete footage’ of the incident ‘contradicts’ the prosecution’s allegations and have offered to bring a forensic video analyst to his bail hearing today.

Amid the scandal, it’s been claimed Cassie is quietly working on reviving her music career after it was stalled by Combs for more than two decades. 

She has turned her attention to a musical comeback, recently registering a new song and weighing up whether to drop tracks from her vault of unreleased music.

‘Cassie is considering making a comeback to music now that Diddy is behind bars and some of the executives who were his lackeys are resigning,’ a source exclusively told DailyMail.com in October.

‘She couldn’t have imagined her career would have been stalled in the way it was when her first album came out, but she has so many unreleased records that she wants to release if the timing and business is right.’

They added: ‘Her collaborators have been informed of this, so the royalty splits have been agreed.’

The revelation comes after Cassie, real name Cassie Ventura, made amendments to a track titled Into It in May this year, which she had initially registered with Universal Music back in 2010.
