  • Spread The Word Stop Avoiding Smear Tests

    **STOP AVOIDING SMEAR TESTS**

This superwoman is my baby sis, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer at just 28

Today she kicked arse but at a cost. She had to undergo a full hysterectomy and her fight isn’t over just yet…there’s still a big chance she will need radiotherapy.

She only missed 1 smear test….just bloody 1. She’s so lucky to have been blessed with a daughter but the cancer has taken her chance to ever carry another baby.

She’s one of the lucky ones though so many women put it off until it’s too late.

I never thought I would be sat writing a status like this about someone so close to home.

A smear test literally takes a few minutes stop putting it off.

She’s letting us post this because she wants to raise awareness that cancer doesn’t care who u are….how old u are, if u don’t keep up with your regular checks your putting yourself at risk.

I sit with tears in my eyes writing this after visiting her tonight. I’m so so proud of her. She has handled this so amazingly. She really is my beautiful superwoman!! 💖 spread the message

  • Common Household Product Burnt My Babies Skin

Lisa Cresswells little boy was hurt recently and is desperate to make others aware of the potential danger.

Cresswell said “For anyone that uses Febreze fabric freshener , it’s supposed to be dermatology tested and suppose to be ok to use on anything and not cause problems. Well I sprayed it on my sons pillow to freshen it up and he woke up like this red raw skin on back, shoulders and neck and ear. Day after his skin started to peel and be infected .

Took him doctors n they said it’s a bad reaction to the chemicals and it’s caused a 2nd degree chemical burn, dermatitis and an infection. Don’t believe everything you read on the bottles as clearly that isn’t always the case as u can see. I’ve contacted the company and am waiting on a reply if they think they are getting away with this when their product which is supposed to be safe to use they got another thing coming defo not letting this go”.

Mums advice have emailed Febreze but they have yet to comment.

  • You Can Never Be Too Overprotective When It Comes To Your Baby

So I haven’t shared this bc….i just haven’t but parents and if your thinking about having a child read and it’s lengthy but here is our story ….so after Weston got home a couple of days passed and on Christmas his skin (full body) turned really red all of a sudden. He looked like he had a sun burn. After notifying the pediatrician we were told to not take him to the ER bc the flu was huge right now and unless he had fever just bring him in the next morning, so that’s what we did.

The pediatrician told us his red blood cells were high (this is common) and he had yeast infection diaper rash and we were given a cream and sent home. The next day his “diaper rash” turned into blisters. After telling the pediatrician office this, they said “use the cream 4 times instead of just 2” so we did just that. On Friday his “diaper rash” was horrible, he had about 7 blisters around his diaper area and inner thigh and his face was extremely chapped and had started getting a rash and swollen. I decided to google “yeast infection diaper rash” and Weston’s looked nothing like this. We called the pediatrician and left a voicemail detailing this.

Within an hour they called me back and said “go to Vandy ER immediately”. After we got there his rash got much worse. After having his blood drawn, a catheter for a urine sample, a stool sample, a spinal tap, and fluid drawn from the blisters. Weston was diagnosed with “scalded skin syndrome” which is also a horrible staph infection.

Our baby was in intense pain since bringing him home from the hospital and we had no clue. We were told today that this was caused by staph most commonly from the nose of an adult. Meaning even though we told people “don’t kiss him” people still did. I’m writing this to tell all parents don’t be afraid to tell people “don’t kiss my baby”. Don’t be afraid to tell people “no you can’t hold him”. Watch people closely. Who cares if people make fun of you for how you parent bc we could be burying Weston it was so bad.

Luckily we caught it early enough and he is a fighter and we will probably come home today or tomorrow, some babies aren’t that lucky. I’m showing these pics so that people can see just why some of us are “too overprotective”. One pic is the day before and the other is the next day when we arrived at the hospital, and the last is today. Again don’t be afraid to be the “mean person” bc it literally could be life or death.

  • Stay Away From The Alba Tablet From Argos

For anyone thinking of buying an Alba tablet from argos, please don’t.

I purchased these earlier in the year, I assumed that buying from argos I would receive a standard of quality and safety that’s not always guaranteed when buying online.. And with electronic items that are for my kids, safety is paramount.

Well I plugged these in charge today and tried to turn one on and it popped in my hands.

Bloody shook me up, I immediately pulled out the charger and looked closer to see the battery has expanded and popped open the casing. A quick google told me that the lithium battery exploded.

Called argos customer services and they first asked me if id used the correct charger – yes.

Then said I need to take it in store to let staff look and decide whether they will refund me or replace item.

I don’t want a replacement. That could have gone so very wrong and been much worse.

I just want to get this out asap. People will be buying Xmas presents and could very well be buying this dangerous item right now. I wanted them to halt all sales till its investigated properly.

Thankfully it wasnt one of my kids holding it, thankfully I wasn’t holding my newborn and thankfully it didn’t catch fire.

  • Please Do Not Buy A Rare Coloured Bulldog

Still thinking about buying a “rare” coloured bulldog? Well think again!!!! This is what your money is funding.

There’s no such thing as a rare coloured bulldog only backyard breeders conning members of the public into believing they have something special. As with any rarity, animals that are exceptional seem to have a priceless appeal and it seems as if everyone in this market are willing to accept any cost to acquire a bulldog with a remarkable and striking hue. The craze is much the same as in everything else on the planet, supply and demand transcend precious metals, food, and yes even animals.

This is not special this is horrific and there’s not a single dog on this planet that deserves this, cross breed or not 😡😡. This poor dog is now in the care of rescue and is getting treatment for wounds he sustained from being attacked by other dogs in the breeders kennels. Wounds that should have been treated as soon as they happened but obviously that costs money and money is far more important than a dogs health and welfare

The lure is the same as owning any rare item, it is a status symbol. Numerous individuals are purchasing these bulldogs essentially and solely for their remarkable hues and appearance. They are charmed to own something very few have but then getting to the attention for themselves is priceless. Different reproducers and companions are the ultimate conversation piece. Certain uncommon hued bulldogs are likewise elusive or breed, bringing about their canine and proprietor to make a “one in a million” bond with their dogs.

Joint Health Problems in Rare Color Breeds:

Canines experience a genuine measure of anxiety every day, from pursuing tennis balls, to playing a basic diversion with their proprietor in their patio. One particular article in Autry Hills Kennel explains how this has a direct impact on rare breeds who are genetically compromised. For a few puppies, the tedious weight on their joints can turn into an issue.

  • Vaccination Destroyed My Boys Life

4 years ago my perfectly healthy son became a ventilator dependent quadriplegic due to the vaccine Gardasil.

Whether you call the condition TM or AFM they are both terms for polio renamed.

Colton fought so hard to get better. He was so strong and pushed himself trying to achieve a normal body that he once had never to achieve it in this lifetime.

Gardasil took his happy life from him.

Gardasil took everything away from him that you take for granted like breathing, being able to walk, scratching your own itch, hugging someone, dressing yourself. Gardasil took my son from me.

MERCK knows these risks exist. THE GOVERNMENT knows these risks exist Doctors know these risks exist yet they still administer vaccines because of money! They aren’t administering vaccines for your health and safety it’s all about money! There’s no true safety studies on vaccines CDC destroys the info showing bad side effects from vaccines.

Please do your research..I did mine too late. My son is gone!

    I miss him like crazy.

You can protect your kids don’t be a fool… don’t trust a doctor that makes money pushing vaccines. READ A TRUE VACCINE INSERT-DARE YOUR DOCTOR TO READ THE VACCINE INSERT.

  • YES I Will Judge Your Parenting

Yes I will judge your parenting and no i am not by any means a perfect parent everyone makes mistakes, I wont judge you if you look a mess, your hairs not brushed or your child is crying or having a temper tantrum these are all normal parts of parenting.

I however will judge you if i see you giving your baby coca cola in a bottle, adding rice or cereal into their bottle to help them sleep more, come on choking risk or an extra hour in bed, I know which one I would prefer.

You wearing name brand clothes, warm winter coats, gloves, scarf and a pair of uggs whilst your child is sat in a dirty pram with no socks or shoes on, dirty stained top and no coat, heck yes I will judge away, ill stand up and say something.

Putting your seat belt on in the car for your own safety whilst your tiny baby is forward facing or sat on someones lap, I will educate you on safe car seat laws.

If you go on holiday abroad 2 or 3 times a year with your friends or partner whilst your kids are lucky to get a weekend in a caravan I will judge you and ignore your lame excuses.

If you refuse vaccinations for your child you my dear are a moron, vaccinations were made to protect children and adults from deadly diseases, someone please explain to me why the government would make something (for free in the UK) to harm children.

Judging other parents is totally and utterly acceptable if the parents are idiots, don’t wean your baby at 3 months, don’t risk their lives, dont put them in harm’s way and dont put yourself before them,  I would hope someone would have the courage to tell me if I am doing something that places my child at risk.
