Mum Recieved Threats For Her Babies Crib
Jentry M Benke has received threats of child services being called and told she is going to be a terrible prent after posting this…
“Please, stop assuming I will be a terrible mother intentionally killing my own child. If I feel there is a cause for concern with the crib or any other hazards regarding this nursery, I will make all necessary changes. No ego issues here. If anything, I am sure my next title will be that of an over protective mother.
If I am willing to put this much effort into his nursery, I can assure you more efforts will be taken to ensure his safety and his upbringing. Thank you all for your genuine concern… if you are purposely here just to judge, name call and assume that I will be an unfit mother, please leave. I think the REAL issue is that of preparing him to face such a judgmental and harsh world of people. Thank you.
While the rest of my house is basically in shambles… We have officially finished the nursery for our baby🌵HOX RUSS🌵 (please don’t let these photos fool you, my life is never actually this put together… even his closet is organized… I could get used to this nesting thing!
That crib? Made by the most talented man in the world, Russtin (he never ceases to amaze me with his creations – I am excited to have it in the family for years ) it’s made from the truck panels that came from my Granpa’s dump truck & Our trip to Canton.
Update: education articles for everyone to read from a valid source!

Are You Risking Injuring Your Child When Picking Them Up?
How many times have you picked up your child by their arm? Have you ever playfully swung them by their arm? Take a read of this and find out why you should not.
Nursemaid’s elbow is a common injury in young children. It is sometimes referred to as “pulled elbow” because it can happen when a young child’s elbow is pulled and partially dislocates. The medical term for the injury is “radial head subluxation.”
Because a young child’s bones and muscles are still developing and growing, it takes very little force to pull the bones of the elbow partially out-of-place, making this injury very common. It occurs most often in children ages 1 to 4, but can happen any time from birth up to 7 years of age.
Although the injury may cause a lot of pain, a doctor usually can easily reset the elbow, quickly relieving any discomfort and restoring arm movement although the child may require a sling and pain relief.

Are You Risking Injuring Your Child When Picking Them Up? Nursemaid’s elbow normally happens when an adult holds a child’s hand or wrist and pulls suddenly on the arm to avoid a dangerous situation such as walking out into the road or to help the child up a step. The injury may also occur whilst playing when an older friend or family member swings a child around holding just the arms or hands, many parents have done this by both holding a child’s hand and swinging them as they walk along.
Nursemaid’s elbow is hardly ever caused by falling over. If a child injures the elbow when falling onto an outstretched hand or directly onto the elbow, it may be a broken bone rather than nursemaid’s elbow.
Please share and make other parents aware.

To The Woman In Aldi That Made My Son Feel Awful
To the woman in Aldi that made my son and me feel like complete shit today.
I’m sorry you felt that my son being excited about getting a bag of his favorite apples and jumping up and down beside me was such a big deal that you needed to ask me to “control my kid because people are trying to shop.” when I told you that he can’t help it and was just excited, and even apologized to you, you decided to roll your eyes and cut me off. And then you did something I really wasnt expecting.
I’m not sure if you noticed it when you bent down, but Caden got excited again thinking you were coming to say hi. He used to be afraid of strangers. Weve been working on that. But instead of saying hi, you got close to his face and asked him “What is wrong with you, does your mommy never take you anywhere?” Then you pointed out that he didn’t say anything back to you. When I informed you that he is unable to talk, you laughed and said “No surprise there, he can’t even walk through a store” before walking away.
I’m not sure if you can tell, but you broke his fucking heart and mine when you did that. I left all of my groceries and walked out of the store. I took him to Wendys, his favorite place. I thought he would like some nuggets and he loves the apple slices there because they’re different colors and he can line the colors up on his tray. But he didn’t get excited. He didn’t smile or jump. He just sat there with the saddest fucking look on his face while he picked at his food. I hope you’re happy with yourself.
Signed, pissed off mama.
Edit: the woman was a customer. Not a worker.

Don’t Buy Any Lunch Boxes Which Cannot Be Taken Apart
So today, something in me prompted me to pry open the glue in the kids lunch boxes. I saw a little black spot in the corners while washing them as usual. This is what I found to my utter disgust. I’m absolutely appalled. I feel totally awful that my children have been eating lunch out of these on a daily basis.
The children’s lunchboxes have been hand washed each night & left open to dry, i always give them a wipe over with some kitchen towel before putting food in to ensure it is completely dry.
We have been using the lunchbox for around nine months, so god knows how long the mold has been there, right next to my childs daily lunch, it is totally gross.
ADVICE: don’t buy any lunch boxes that you can’t clean ALL the parts, if you do notice mold in your childs lunch box please contact the company you purchased it from and make them aware
Feel free to share. Parents need to know!
Tip: you can hold up the lighter ones to the light & the mould shows through.
Health Effects. The presence of mold does not present a health risk in most cases. Airborne mold spores are a common allergen. Individuals with allergies to certain types of mold may exhibit allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, upper respiratory irritation, cough and eye irritation.
Here’s What Really Happens if You Eat Mold. … The short answer is no, you’re probably not going to die from eating mold; you’ll digest it like any other food, and as long as you’ve got a relatively healthy immune system, the most you’ll experience is some nausea or vomiting due to the taste/idea of what you’ve just eaten.

Ban Pony Painting Parties Now
Pony painting parties are a disturbing trend popping up all over the UK. Imagine being tied up amidst shrieking laughter, unpredictable touching and having strangers smear your hair in paint. This is happening all over the country to horses right now and we need to take a stand and get pony painting parties banned.
How would you feel about strangers smearing paint on your pet? Is this something we want to encourage in children? If left unchecked, this will only get worse. What will happen when a stressed horse kicks or bites a child? What if there are tragic fatalities? These parties are dangerous to both children and animals – and all just for a bit of money.
The 2006 Animal Welfare Act says that owners have a positive duty of care towards their animals and a responsibility to prevent the animal from becoming distressed. Animals have ways of communicating distress – horses show stress signs through swishing, flared nostrils, raised tail, sweating and a raised heartbeat. These subtle signals are not obvious to families/children and could even be ignored by organisers who are prioritising profits.
Animals do not want to be grabbed at, shrieked at or painted on for human’s enjoyment. Sign my petition to take a stand today to get this unnecessary cruelty banned!

Pampers Are Making Parents Very Happy Right Now
Mums of late potty trainers are rejoicing at Pampers new nappies a brilliant number 8, nappies for 37lb+.
Amanda Dawn from West Sussex has shared her joy at the new size nappies, she said
“My son Dexter has Fragile X (Fragile X is a genetic condition that affects both boys and girls, although boys are often more severely affected. It can cause a range of issues with language, emotions, attention, behaviour and social interaction) Dexter is unlikely to ever be potty trained, he is non verbal and is 7 years old, the NHS provide us with a few packs of nappies a month but nowhere near enough to last, we often have to resort to buying adult incontinence pads.
Some may think that’s not a problem but when you have a child of 7 who thinks like a 1-year-old he wants the fancy designs and for me I want the convenance of being able to buy nappies from any old shop. Thank you so much Pampers for making our lives better and the fact these nappies are far cheaper is fantastic”.
Lucy Fitzpeters from Witham in Essex is also very happy “Wow big size nappies my Samuel is only 1 but such a chubster, we have been using pull ups but they aren’t great when he does a poo, these are gonna be a game changer for my family”.
Several mums hope that other companies or supermarkets such as Lidl follow suit and start making nappies in the larger sizes to help parents of all children, disabled, larger and late trainers.
Thanks Pampers for making mums lives easier!!!

This Note Broke Me, Not All Disabilities Are Visable
To the person who put this on my car which I had put my disabled badge fully on show I’m not angry at your pure ignorance I’m actually upset with it. How dare you ever accuse anyone of not needing a disabled badge without knowing.
I wish you had the balls to say this to my face and I would have told you (even though I don’t need to explain myself to the likes of you) but id of happily said why I have a badge.
I promise to get the stigma away from people with disabled badges who don’t “look disabled” I hope this gets shared and back to you and you will see my son is terminally ill he’s had over 15 operations 3 open hearts, 2 stomach, lung and diaphragm and countless artery stenting operations and spent half his life on intensive care.
He’s had 2 strokes and was paralysed, brain-damaged and has a spine and hip condition aswell as a massive heart condition. The reason I didn’t get his wheelchair out was because I was running late because my son who had a MRI scan CTSCAN and a dye for heart function yesterday only got discharged late and was back in this morning so carried him in.
But for your information not everyone who holds a blue badge needs to have a wheelchair! I’ve told Alder hey security and broke down, I’ve sat through things nobody should see but why did your note break me? Because it’s your pure ignorance towards others I’m a single mum trying my best to hold it together for my son who’s in and out of hospital. NOT ALL DISABILITIES ARE VISABLE and I hope you regret doing this and learn your lesson!
I knew something would be said one day as everyday I get looks and stares and see people whispering to each other about me and bobby walking from the car. Everyone needs to stop and think before acting I hardly ever let anything upset me but this did. How aggressive aswell and as for conning my son’s disabled pass is not a con he’s actually seriously ill. I’ve added a picture of him to prove not everyone looks ill or disabled but can be seriously ill.

This Note Broke Me, Not All Disabilities Are Visable I’d like to point out this has nothing to do with the hospital itself they was lovely with me when I was upset and they treat us with every respect always have for 3 long years with them. They’ve saved my son’s life many times it’s just somebody who was parked on the car park.

Do Not Feed Horses Grass Cuttings
DO NOT FEED HORSES GRASS CUTTINGS!!!
This is horrendous and we’re all devastated. Our gorgeous, healthy, happy and much-loved family horse Boston has been killed by somebody feeding our horses a pile of grass cuttings last night. He was the best horse in the world and we can’t believe he’s gone.
The worst part is knowing that this could have been prevented and our lovely Boston could be with us now if he hadn’t been fed accidentally and unknowingly this way. I understand that people who do not have horses will not understand the severity of this but I’m hoping I can reach a few by sharing our story.
PLEASE DO NOT FEED HORSES GRASS CUTTINGS!!!
I’ve been asked to expand on the reasoning for not feeding horses cut grass which I thought this was a good idea as I would like to possibly prevent something like this happening again with someone else, if I could:
Because cut grass is much smaller than grass taken up by horses themselves, a horse eating cut grass wouldn’t chew it and would gorge themselves quickly on it. This would result in saliva not being added to the cut grass and “diluting” it before it reaches the stomach. Cut grass also ferments (which is why it can be warm to touch) and along with the saliva not being added, gives off gases inside the stomach.
These gases cause the stomach to expand to the point of rupture in severe cases like ours with Boston, killing the horse. If the stomach doesn’t rupture due to not as much grass having been eaten, it would instead cause colic in the horse which is dreadful pain in the abdomen which could then lead to killing the horse later too however colic can be treatable.
Horses also do not have a “vomit” reflex meaning they can’t take up the harmful substances once eaten. Another point would be if a horse has been given lawn mower cuttings. These cuttings may also have different plants in, other than grass which could lead to the horse eating kinds of plants that are commonly found but that are poisonous to them and would have otherwise been avoided by the horse due to not being able to take back up the substances.
I hope this post spreads so people can understand how horrific this is. Thank you for reading.

What Is Early Motherhood Really About?
What is early motherhood really about?
I often watch future mums getting ready for the arrival of their children, studying everything about a birth, being happy that they are ready for everything… There is nothing wrong with it. I don’t know one mother who would think otherwise in pregnancy.
However, I always see these mums being astonished when the baby comes into the world. Suddenly they find that the birth is just a beginning. Despite studying of 20 books, attending pregnancy yoga regularly and consulting everything beforehand with experienced mums, they feel they were not ready for anything. There is nothing wrong with that either. The truth is that no mother can be ready for what really comes with motherhood.
What is it that comes with motherhood then?
Let’s take it step by step.
I am not saying I know every mother in the world, or that it is up to me to speak for all women. However, from what I have experienced and seen, I can be almost certain that every mother is mentally unwell for at least some time after delivery. Why? As to her surprise, instead of overflowing with love and feelings of happiness, she often feels sorrow, emptiness, or even depression… Logically, she therefore feels there is something wrong with her. I am supposed to feel happy! She thinks. Wrong! Sadness and depression are totally common and natural feelings of a new mother. Often even during the pregnancy…
Apparently, it’s because the arrival of a child is the biggest change in one’s life that overturns your world by 180 degrees. Suddenly, you no longer do what you used to do before. You cannot even go to the shop freely. You realise what’s changing. Suddenly, you have in front of you a little child that constantly cries and you don’t know why and how to help them. You don’t sleep, you are desperate and drifting out to sea. You were prepared for a lot of crying and lack of sleep, but you were not prepared that both of these things would be happening at the same time. Moreover, the love between you and your child is initially not as strong as you might have expected. Maternal love does not come with a birth. It is a process that shapes itself and develops over time. The first weeks and months are therefore especially about a huge pressure on the psyche and looking for the right balance.
How come they don’t know about this then?
That’s the thing, they do. However, we are sweeping it underneath the carpet as leftovers until we get to the point when we crave even the slightest crumb. That is when we start to search for information from the real life and find out how many things we had missed up to this point.
I am sure you all have met with the definition of baby blues or postpartum depression. However, the truth is, that we mostly meet these terms only on a theoretical level. Even the statistical data of ‘up to 80% of women suffer from baby blues’ does not make it significant in our eyes, unless you experience it.
On the other hand, on the “most interesting”, practical level, we encounter the topic of motherhood mostly in the best possible light. Let’s just look around us. Everywhere we look we see happy, smiling faces of new mothers… Celebrities take pictures with their babies and their smile underlines the title ‘I experience the most beautiful time of my life’. The media and the indirect influences of the environment have always created the impression in us that motherhood is a synonymous to the greatest happiness. Why would we think the opposite?
Logically, we expect that the sense of unlimited happiness enters our lives with a child. It is true that feeling will come, but certainly not immediately. In the first stages, it is rather the opposite.
Why don’t mummies talk about it? It is simple. Since we are from each direction fed with the illusion that a mother has to experience feelings of pure happiness, if they don’t arrive, a mum feels bad and guilty. She feels she is failing and often falls into depression. It’s a vicious circle.
I also suffered from postpartum depression and I also felt that I had to hide it from others. It was some emotional instinct, mixed from the sense of shame and guilt that prevented me from admitting how I really felt.
However, it doesn’t have to go as far as depression. It’s enough if a mum doesn’t sleep and for a couple of hours a day constantly listens to a baby’s crying. For me personally, this combination of lack of sleep and crying was probably the hardest. Often, I went out in the evening, sat on the bench and kept looking in front of me in silence. Just for the sake of sanity.
Experiencing negative feelings at the beginning of motherhood is hence as natural as breathing.
How does a mum feel then when her surroundings ask her: “How are you feeling? You must be happy!” At times like this she got a feeling of guilt in the pit of her stomach, she smiles politely and without a thought says: “Yes, of course I am.”
Vicious, endless circle.
However, it doesn’t have to be like this. Together, we can start to change it. Together, we can help other mums. Together, we can promote the true face of motherhood and reduce the consequences or occurrence of depression. All we have to do is be honest about motherhood. Honesty and openness will help us and it will help others. In addition, it will connect us on a totally different level with other people and bring us closer.
Don’t be afraid to admit that you’re having a bad day. That you don’t feel well. That you cry. That you’re overwhelmed. That sometimes (or often) you feel hopeless. There is nothing wrong about that, nor is it special. You don’t have to worry about people judging you. Do you really think that there is one perfect mum in the world that can allow herself to judge you and look at you from above? Mum like this exists only in our imagination. Real mums feel the same as we do.
You wouldn’t believe how relieved mums are when I tell them how I really feel, or how I’d felt at the beginning… Suddenly, a blood red returns to their faces and they begin to talk about themselves and their feelings. And I find that my story doesn’t really differ from others.
I believe that if mums were ready for reality, they would handle it more easily. It’s true that no mother can prepare for what comes with motherhood. What she can prepare for though, is that it will take some time for the feelings of happiness to arrive.
However, the good news is, they will come eventually. Sooner or later love of such an extent will arrive, that you cannot even imagine. Although the beginning is extremely difficult and stressful, as time passes, we also grow, each day we get closer with our baby, we get to know and love them more. Up until a day when they become an inseparable part of our life.
Although I become anxious or depressed even today sometimes, the level of these feelings can no longer be compared to what I was experiencing at the beginning. Today, I can’t even imagine my life without my children. I would die for them. And I feel this always, unconditionally and regardless of whether they are currently “good” or driving me crazy :).
It is strange how one can move from the feelings of deep depression to the feelings of love of such dimension. How is it possible that the most difficult time of our life suddenly turns into our greatest blessing?
I have no clue. But I know it’s a totally normal and natural process. Thanks to it we grow, we learn and we get stronger in many ways. Therefore, there is no reason to hide it. On the contrary, I think our feelings can be shown to the world with ease and pride ;).
