  • Snowflakes Don’t Get Social Media Or Shut Up

Stay at home snowflakes, don’t get social media, leave us the hell alone.

“A snowflake is someone who is easily offended or felt they needed a “safe space” away from the harsh realities of the world, but now has morphed into a general putdown for anyone that complains about any subject”.

I am fed up of bloody snowflakes, can’t say anything without someone get offended, like seriously what has happened to the world that everything upsets someone.

Can’t ask if someones baby is a boy or girl as some weirdos want to let their child decide what gender they will be, we must refer to them at theybies, BULL SHIT, your baby either has a penis or it don’t! What is so wrong with being a girl or a boy.

Can’t criticise someones behaviour even if they are being a total cock just in case they have a disability or a rough childhood, Mate if someone is urinating up my car what should I do, bloody smile and them and ask them if they are ok, according to snowflakes I should be more understanding of other people’s needs, oh fuck a duck dear, my car has rights to, the right not to have some cretin piss up it.

Please for the love of all things sane stop getting your knickers in a twist, yes things piss me off (often) but I don’t need to constantly throw the “bullying” card around or the this offends me line or the best one ever “you need Jesus” nah pal he needs me.

If you get that upset and need a poxy trigger warning above each post you clearly are too highly strung to be able to cope with social media, take up knitting Barbara Big Balls.

Vegans go home, Breast is best SHUT UP we know, genderless kids oh bore off.

You bunch of melts its time you lived in the real world, no one will ever have the same views on some subjects and you forcing your shit down our throats won’t change a thing.

  • It Can’t Be Rape As We Are In A Relationship

I have been with my partner nearly 3 years he’s always been controlling in certain ways.

Last month he woke me up at 4am and started touching me, me and him very rarely have sex because every time I come onto him he never wants it and when we do its on his terms, his way or the high way.

But he carried on touching me. I laid there pretending to be a sleep for a while longer.

Then he pulled my pants down. At this point I knew i couldn’t fake sleep anymore. Soon as I opened my eyes he said let me put it in your arse.

I said no. He carried on. I said no. He continued to try I said no I don’t want to, I shouted STOP

I then tried to roll over… he held my arms …

    And then continued.

    It really upset me.

    I felt broken

I felt like I had been violated.

But it can’t be rape we are in a relationship

The next day I couldn’t get the incident out of my mind, I felt dirty and must have had at least 6 showers that day, I was fearful and sad, and this increased when I heard his car pull into the drive, I couldn’t look at him.

I decided two days after the attack that it was 100% not my fault and just because I was in a relationship with him does not give him the right to my body, I was raped!!!

Yes I reported, No he wasn’t convicted but I was free, I was safe and he knew he had done wrong.

I just want other woman to know that if you are in a relationship that does not give your partner the right to touch you or sleep with you without your consent, NO means NO!

  • Little Boy Attacked By A Teenager In McDonalds

I’m not one to post my whole life and everything going on in it on Facebook, and I wasn’t ever planning to post anything about what happened to Charlie, but after a few days of over thinking and growing more and more frustrated following a phone call with the detective investigating his case, I’ve decided that I just need to vent!

This is a long story, but please take the time to read it, I feel it’s really important to share. A couple of weeks ago when in the McDonalds near Hampton in Peterborough, I was walking to the toilet with Charlie and Elsie. I had Elsie in front, guiding her forward with one hand, and Charlie behind holding onto my other hand. All of a sudden it felt like Charlie’s hand was snatched from mine, so instinctively I turned around imagining the worst, that someone was trying to grab him.

What I saw next had me so confused. I saw Charlie on the floor, and on top of him was a girl, of about 12/13 years of age, with fair wavy hair, just completely obscuring him from my view almost. On top of her almost, was what I assumed to be her mother. In that first half a second, I automatically assumed that she must have fallen onto him accidentally, and her mother with her, and then as I bent down to help my crying child up, I realised that her teeth were embedded into the top of his back.

This had come from absolutely nowhere. Then all I could see and hear was chaos. I could see her grappling with him and biting him as hard as she could, I could hear the animalistic sounds coming out of her mouth as she bit down, and her mum telling her to stop. I could hear Charlie, my little 5-year-old screaming for help, hysterical with the shock and the pain, and it all sort of blurred. Elsie was thankfully shut behind the protection of the door heading into the toilets, so I bent down as fast as I could, and started pulling at Charlie as her mum pulled on her.

The harder I pulled the stronger I realised she was and she just seemed to bite harder and thrash her body about on top of him. Charlie was beside himself, just screaming, and I was crying as I was begging her to stop. I’m not going to lie, I wanted to kick her, I wanted to pull her literally by the hair off of my child and I wanted to hurt her, anything to get her off, but I just couldn’t quite do it, because I knew she was a child, if a bigger one, and I knew she likely had some underlying condition that was leading her behaviour. As I looked up in desperation to her mother, all her mother said was “I’m sorry, she’s autistic”, as she continued to try to pull her off.

After what seemed like forever, but in reality was probably about 30 seconds, I managed to pull him away slightly.

Just enough that he started to move. As I moved him away further and as her mum tried to restrain her, she was lashing out at him, getting him wherever she could. Hitting, scratching, biting. Down his back, his bottom, his legs. All I could think was to get away, so I don’t even remember looking at anyone who must have witnessed this and yet not intervened, I just grabbed my screaming 5-year-old child, carried him through the door, got his 2-year-old sister who was being looked after by a kind man this whole time, and locked us in the nearest disabled toilet.

When we were in there I got on my knees and held Charlie, asked him where it hurt, and he just said, in between sobs, “everywhere”. I lifted his top up and felt sick at the sight of his back. There was blood running down from where she had broken through his skin with her teeth. He had red marks where she had slapped and hit him as hard as she could repeatedly, scratches, blotches that I knew would turn into bruising. Charlie’s only saving grace with his back I realised, was the fact he had been wearing a really thick, cotton joules top. Had it been a thin t-shirt of any sort like he normally wears, it would have been a hell of a lot worse and she likely would have taken a chunk of him with her.

I couldn’t believe she had bitten him so hard that she had managed to cut through his skin despite this. I wiped the blood away as gently as I could, and held a cold compress on there for a few minutes, and then I just needed to get out and get in the car before I dealt with the rest. I pulled his top down, grabbed their hands and left the toilet. When we got out the door all of a sudden, the girl who was now sitting at a table with her mum, leapt up to try to get to Charlie again, just shouting manically “naughty naughty naughty, he’s naughty”.

Her mum had to pin her down in her chair to stop her. Charlie started screaming hysterically all over again, hiding behind me just shouting “no mummy, no.” I genuinely just wanted to cry, but held it together. At this point, some staff came over and blocked her view of him, and his of her, and escorted us out. When we got outside they told us to sit down on a bench, and someone went in to get some ice for his back, proceeding to hold it on there for him when they came back out to reduce the swelling. They offered him and Elsie an ice cream (although he wouldn’t eat his), and then filled in an incident form with our details and what had happened.

I was crying freely along with Charlie the whole time, just completely traumatized and in shock by what had happened. I looked back in and could see the mum, still struggling to control who I assume was her daughter. I just wanted to go home, Charlie just kept asking to go home, so as soon as I had filled in our details, we went to the car, and both of us cried all the way home. I kept thinking all the way home, and whilst I was still there too, what do I do? Can I call the police? Does this girl’s autism mean that somehow her behaviour is outside of the law? What happens now?

I knew she must have some disability of some sort, and I was trying so hard to show some compassion and understanding, I really didn’t want to cause undue trouble. I kept going over and over it in my head, wondering if I was being unreasonable in my slowly developing anger. I’ve worked with autistic children before, and I’m a student children’s nurse so it’s not like I had a lack of understanding. I empathise with her mum and how I assumed she must be feeling, but it didn’t take away the pain I felt because of what my child had gone through, never mind the pain Charlie felt himself.

Once home, I stripped him down, ran him a bath, and properly looked at what she had done. He was covered in marks from the top of his back, right down to the top of his ankles. Worse than seeing the bruises that I knew would fade, was hearing him ask me “am I naughty? Why did she hurt me? Will other children hurt me now? Why? Why?”. I didn’t have all the answers, just tried to explain that he was safe, reassure him that this wouldn’t happen again, and try to put into words that this girl was poorly in her mind, and didn’t do it “on purpose”.

After deliberating some more, I decided to call the police through their 101 number. The scary truth was, I had decided, was that had it been my 2-year-old in her thin summer dress, the damage would have been so so much worse. If she had gone for the throat….or the face? And if this was a barely walking toddler or a baby in a car seat? I have no doubt in my mind that this girl could have killed a smaller child if she had taken a chunk out of their neck. She wanted to hurt and cause significant pain, and she didn’t seem to care for the outcome.

I felt like someone had to take responsibility because she wasn’t safe to be around small children, clearly? I spoke to a nice lady on the phone who took all the details, and told me they would investigate, look at the CCTV and get back to me. In the week following, my 5-year-old child’s behaviour seemed to suddenly deteriorate. He was moody, emotional and constantly asked questions about what had happened. Even worse, every other night at least he appeared to have started having night terrors.

He would wake up screaming, crying and drenched in sweat, and some mornings when I asked him how he was he didn’t even seem to remember waking in such a state. This incident hasn’t only affected my child physically, but has also affected him emotionally. The physical marks have faded slightly since, but I’m so concerned that the mental scars will take longer to disappear. He was prescribed antibiotics the next day due to the severity of his injuries to prevent infection, and after a couple more GP visits has been referred to counselling as well.

The police and more specifically the man handling the incident have rang me since and said the CCTV doesn’t cover the whole altercation, just the girl running from the tills with her mum, and diving on my child who is almost out of sight. McDonald’s have no CCTV outside to trace a car reg, and the mum refused to fill in an incident form so they don’t have her details. So what now? They’ve said they have a clear screenshot of her mums face they are rotating around local offices and organisations, but if no one knows her, then this mum won’t even get so much as a little advice as to how to address her child’s behaviour and whether it’s safe to have her around children.

This could happen again and next time this could be worse. Also, I don’t know about anyone else, but if I was that mother I would have been mortified. I would have gone out of my way to fix it, to get the victims details and send a card? A magazine? Anything! Just to apologise, because the guilt would have eaten me up! I’d have worked with anyone and everyone to protect other children from what I knew my own child was sometimes capable of. The officer who reviewed the CCTV said that judging by the mums reaction on the screen, she knew what was happening immediately, so she was aware of what her child was capable. I’m so angry! I’m so so very upset!

How can my child go through this, and yet no one is going to be held responsible? What is this teaching him? Who is protecting him? I’m trying so hard to be understanding to every aspect of the situation, but it just doesn’t seem right. If the girl who inflicted these horrific injuries on my child isn’t to blame, then is her mother? For allowing this to happen knowing what her child was capable of? Should I be angry at the McDonald’s staff because despite comforting and being great with Charlie afterwards, shouldn’t they have ensured 100% that they followed protocol and got mums details too?

Should I be angry at the police because I don’t feel like they are taking this seriously, just because this early teen is autistic? Does that mean no small child is safe when out and about in Peterborough? Should my child, or any child, really be scared to go in McDonald’s and eat a happy meal? I don’t want to be angry, I really don’t, because everyone I have spoken to has seemed helpful, and I’ve been offered support and extra help for Charlie from some lovely people through the police, but I just feel like Charlie is being failed and I just don’t know what to do?! Could people share this post and get the word around?. Does anyone have any advice? If someone knows the mother and the child it could be could they call 101 or contact me directly? Apparently they’ve been to that McDonald’s before a few times according to staff. I just want something!

Some sort of recognition, some form of justice? It’s just not right. It’s awful having to lay with your sobbing child most nights and seeing such fear and confusion in their eyes! As a mother it is truly heartbreaking! It hasn’t only affected Charlie either, the guilt I feel as a his mummy too, for not seeing her coming, for not protecting him, has me crying some nights. I need to gauge some sort of justice, or at least more understanding at where we stand in this situation? I seem to be hitting dead ends on my own, and the more time passes the more I just feel like somewhere along the line Charlie has been failed! What do I do? The photo below is just some of his injuries, please look, please share, please help? 💔

  • 6 Month Old Baby Badly Bitten At Day Care

I don’t normally post something personal like this, but we feel that sharing our sons story will be beneficial to other parents in the Hanover PA area. Recently there has been more and more of these kind of things happening and it’s honestly sickening.

On 09/15/2017 our son who was 6 months at the time was violently bitten 8 times at an in home daycare in Hanover, PA. After a hospital trip, police involvement, and child services involvement our son still did not get the justice he deserves.

The day of the incident I was working until 5PM. When I got off my father had told me something had happened to Gunnar and I needed to call the owner of the daycare. I called her and was told our son had been bitten by a 2yr old but she had cleaned the marks.

Not knowing what I was going to see when I got home I assumed it was something benign. When I got home and looked at Gunnar I was in SHOCK. Our little helpless baby was violently bitten 8 times while in daycare but I had to be the one to reach out to the daycare provider. No, she did not call me when this happened, no she did not report it, no she did not seek any medical attention, and most importantly she didn’t call ANYONE.

She had told my mother while picking up Gunnar that she did not want to take pictures and that she did not fill out an incident report. Now, my mother works in a daycare so she knows the STATE REGULATIONS when something like this happens. So we knew she was hiding something. Why would she not report it or even take pictures?

Here was her story of what happened. She had explained to me that they were all outside that day. When she started bringing the kids inside, she brought a 1yr old and our infant son in first leaving the other children outside ALONE. She put the 1yr old in the pack and play, then placed our son on the floor.

Then proceeded to walk outside and leave the 1yr old and Gunnar in the house ALONE. According to her it was no more than 5 minutes she was outside before she heard Gunnar screaming. She ran in to find Gunnar on the floor being attacked by this 2yr old girl who supposedly snuck into the house while she was gathering the kids to come inside. As she put it she had to forcefully pull the toddler off of Gunnar.

She then stated she cleaned the bite marks and put the little girl on time out. Yet. still not phone calls were made. The extensiveness of these bite marks could not have been made in that little amount of time. Every single one of the 8 bite marks were open! Yup, broke through his skin.

During the investigations we found out she was NOT a licensed daycare. We also found out that she had been indicated for child abuse/neglect on another account. Yet, somehow in the first hearing she was deemed compassionate and the judge dropped the charges. All because she put stuff on him to clean the bite marks. Not only did she lie about being a licensed daycare she also lied about her credibility. She left an infant alone on the floor while going outside and refused to report it.

Today while looking through the merchandiser I happened to glance at an add for an inhome daycare. Well come to find out, it’s HER! After everything she put us through, put Gunnar through she’s still running a daycare. She’s a lying irresponsible woman who should not be allowed to watch children. For all the moms and dads out there looking for a good daycare PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM TO HER! (her adds the first one)

  • One Night A Snake-Inspirational Post

One night a snake… while it was looking for food, entered a carpenter’s workshop.

The carpenter, who was a rather untidy man, had left several of his tools lying on the floor.

One of them was a saw. As the snake went round and round the shop, he climbed over the saw, which gave him a little cut.

At once, thinking that the saw was attacking him, he turned around and bit it so hard that his mouth started to bleed. This made him very angry. He attacked again and again until the saw was covered with his blood.

Dying from his own wounds, the snake decided to wrap itself around the saw and began to squeeze with all its strength but it ended up killing itself.

Sometimes we react with anger not realizing we are only hurting ourselves. In life, sometimes it’s better to ignore situations, ignore people and their behavior. People say and do things but it’s your decision to react in a positive way.

  • Rude Joke Of The Day 1 Minute Read

Rude joke of the day 1 minute read

A little boy got on the bus, sat next to a man reading a book, and noticed he had his collar on backwards.

The little boy asked why he wore his collar that way. The man, who was a priest, said, ” I am a Father.”

The little boy replied, “My Daddy doesn’t wear his collar like that.”

The priest looked up from his book and answered, “I am the Father of many.”

The boy said, “My Dad has 4 boys, 4 girls and two grandchildren and he doesn’t wear his collar that way.”

The priest, getting impatient, said, “I am the Father of hundreds” and went back to reading his book.

The little boy sat quietly thinking for a while, then leaned over and said,”Maybe you should wear your pants backwards instead of your collar.”

  • As A Carer You Will Instantly Judge Me

As a Carer you’ll watch me do things and instantly judge me for them, you’ll look down your nose and see me as nothing more than someone who deals with other people’s body fluids and makes cups of tea.

You’ll wonder why I can walk out of a room and instantly into another, forgetting that I may have promised your relative a blanket or a cup of water because I was “distracted” by someone else.

You’ll wonder why I’ve walked past your relatives room and not entered theirs, you’ll wonder why some people are attended to sooner and you’ll curse my name under your breath as they wait.

You’ll wonder how I seem to have time to sit down and write and wonder why I cannot fix things immediately.

You’ll wonder how, under any circumstance, I could be sharing a smile or a laugh with a co-worker as if laughter has no place.

As I walk in for my shift, you’ll look at me, your eyes saying that you want me to help and you’ll wonder why I can’t just make that happen.

But here’s what, if you’re very lucky, you’ll never see.

You’ll never see me lose. You’ll never see me take off my sweaty gloves and say a goodbye to someone I’ve cared for for months or even years

You’ll never see the weight that we carry home. For minutes or hours, days, or weeks, or even lifetimes.

You’ll never see our children’s faces as we kiss them goodbye on Christmas morning so that we can make it a special day for your family member.

You’ll never see the deep breath we take as we walk into a room to prepare a loved one before family enter to say their last goodbye.

You’ll never see our hearts ache with the pain for those we have nursed and passed and those that continue to battle.

You’ll never see our minds as they tirelessly over think and overwork scenarios, wondering how or if we could do something better next time.

You’ll never see us break the news that someone’s husband or wife, that they have been married to for 50 plus years has died because they have forgotten again, you’ll never see us comfort them as they cry.

And for the most part, I’m okay that you can’t see those things. It’s my job to do, my burden to carry, and my labor of love and service so that you don’t have to, so that the relationship you have remains as it always has been, so that you don’t have to become their Carer. I’ll take on that role for you.

However, I’ll be honest, there are times that I wish you could understand the alternative to your relative that’s waiting. There are times I wish you understood the difference between urgency and emergency. And there are certainly times that I wish I could be transparent enough to tell you when your relative dies it breaks our hearts too.

If you know, or love a Carer please do me a favor and just give them a hug. Or maybe a fist bump if hugging isn’t their thing, or maybe even just a nod of approval but more anything please remember we’re more than just bottom cleaners and tea makers.

We’re working as hard and as fast as we can, and most days, it’s never enough.”

  • Out Of The Closet, I Have Something To Tell You

    Out of the closet

Hey Mum, I have something to tell you,

“What dear” she turns and replies,

I freak as I don’t know what to say,

So I feed her some more lies.

It’s hard to tell your parents,

It’s hard to tell your friends,

So you pretend your normal to everyone,

You don’t want your relationship to end.

    But 30 years later,

And your secret is still unknown,

All the times you could have said,

So your still in this on your own.

You decide to pluck the courage,

It’s time to face your fear,

You hold the phone so tightly,

    Wiping away the tears.

    You dial the number slowly,

Then press on call and wait,

    The dialling tone is ringing,

I’ll hang up, maybe it’s to late.

    Then she answers “Hi dear”,

You say hello back and sob,

“What’s wrong” she asks she’s worried,

    Your heart begins to throb.

    “Mum, I’m sorry, I’m different”

“I’m not who you want me to be”,

She cries down the phone and whispers,

“Your my daughter, now please tell me”

    “Ok” but now I’m hysterical,

I say “Mum I am gay”,

“I’ve known for years, I’m sorry”

Then I take the phone away.

    I’m terrified of her reaction,

Then my Dad comes on the phone,

“Oh you silly Girl, we always knew”,

“Now get your butt back home”

I walked in through the door,

They held me oh so tight,

We wish you’d told us earlier,

    It would have been alright.

So you see now I’m happy,

    I told all my Family,

Some are distant, most are fine,

But hey THIS IS ME 🙂

  • Where’s The Mum Village In 2018?

    Where’s the village in 2018?

Anytime a mom vents and says “I just need a break!” Someone has to follow it with “well you had them “they’re your responsibility”.

Says the person who back when your generation was having children, had family and friends that would actually be your “village”.

➡️ There is no village in 2018 ⬅️

Maybe sometimes when us moms mention we just need a break, it’s because we’re teetering the edge of mental stability & going to a crazy place. It’s not because we don’t love and cherish our kids, trust me we do. Sometimes we just need an hour to clear our minds and have a reprieve.

Women just need a little break but are too scared to ask because of the remarks they receive. Then when something happens, those same people say, “well why didn’t you ask for help?”

You see, she did ask. You told her they were her problem. So she never asked again. She cried in the shower begging someone just to help.

Be careful of your words. Lend a hand. Yea, they are “her kids”, but if you are her friend or family, if you love those children and they mean something to you, why does it inconvenience you to take time out of your life to make memories with those kids? While at the same it’s helping mom have some time or help mom & dad strengthen their relationship?

Let’s bring the village back and stop shaming parents for needing a little time to themselves.
