Attempted Murder Of School Girl Can You Help?
On the 4th of September we sent our Princess off to her first day at High school with prayers in abundance. This afternoon I was called and told to meet our child at the hospital.
Some one attempted to murder my child. He drove on the pavement and knocked her over deliberately and sped off.

Atempted Murder Of School Girl Can You Help? Now I am appealing for anyone that was in the Preston Hill area around 1.50pm to come forward and give any information.
She is awake now with multiple bruising & with a thin line of blood surrounding her brain.
I cannot tell you how mad, angry, heartbroken, distraught and upset I am.
Please contact Wembley Police station or crimestoppers.
Thank you

Don’t Forget To Care For Your Wife/Girlfriend
I finally told my husband last night that he’s failed to realize I’ve been taking a shower only once a week. He felt pretty bad. That everyone always forgets to care for momma after baby is born and even later when baby is 6 months old.
I told him no one looks out for me to see if I’m doing okay because they are so wrapped up in making sure baby is okay and or themselves. He didn’t offer to help until he was all done with his nice long shower and potty session which goes uninterrupted.
I let him know though. I said how am I supposed to feel pretty when I’ve been unnoticed for so long? He couldn’t say anything really except that he apologizes for not appreciating me more.
Deep down it’s more than that for me. He asked what he can do to help and I told him to offer to take her more when ever he can because I need my breaks. Not just once a day breaks either.
Mums do not be ashamed to voice how you feel, if you are overwhelmed, tired or need extra help say something, unfortunately some men don’t notice how much you do or how hard you are finding things, point them out let them know, sometimes a little chat can make a lot of big changes happen.

Women Don’t Do This It Is Gross
I don’t care what shit I cop for this, I’m just gonna go ahead and say it. Don’t like it, too bad. I may even have friends that do this, and I’m not sorry if I offend you.
Women, don’t do this!
It’s okay in your house, if you want, or where no one sees them, but not in a restaurant. It’s uncomfortable to look at. It is a public place devoted to food consumption.
The truth is, I don’t agree, I don’t know what you think, but it makes me sick.
I know that many will come out to defend it, and they will say a lot of things in their favour, but they won’t change my mind about this.
It’s a bad habit, and it’s not hygienic! You can tell what’s been instilled in her house and it looks like it’s normal for her, as if nothing’s going on, but… don’t be putting your dirty flip flops on top of the table. It isn’t right.

A Story From A Child In Foster Care
Life has been a bit not nice for me. I’ve not been the best bear I could be and things have been scary. My tummy bubbles have been very very big, my legs have done lots of running, my hands lots of hurting and my mouth saying not nice stuff.
It’s been the summer holidays. I like the holidays usually as I get to do lots and lots of fun stuff with Kim and the others. We have been doing nice stuff and I have had some fun but there’s been something else happening for me as well. Something not fun. Not nice. Something I didn’t know what to do with.
I still see mummy and my brothers. We have contact. Sometimes mummy doesn’t come and then I feel sad because I think she doesn’t like me anymore or she’s poorly – she used to get poorly a lot when she had her friends round and they did drinking and some other bad stuff and fighting. Mummy has been coming to contact in the summer and in the holidays we get to spend longer with her. We go to the family centre with the big garden. Sometimes me and mummy can talk by ourselves when the supervisor is on the other side of the garden.
We was playing football with my brothers. Then they wanted to go on the climbing frame. I was too hot so sat on the grass. Mummy sat with me. I thought it was going to be lovely to be with her but then she said it. Mummy said I was going to live back at home with her. She was going to court to get me back. She was going to tell them that the social
workers was telling lies. That I had been telling lies about the man in my room. And because I was a liar Kim didn’t want me living in her house so that’s the plan. I am going to live back with mummy as soon as the court says so BUT I mustn’t tell anyone because social will make up more lies.
All my happy went in that minute. Every thing changed for me. I’ve been living with Kim for a fair time now and really loved it there. I always felt safe there. I always had food and toys and clothes and my comfy bed. And I was a big enough bear now to know I didn’t get that at mummy’s. My world was like a big balloon that had just gone pop.
I went back to Kim’s from contact. It was Kims now, not home. Mummy’s was going to be home, a home I feared, a home full of noise and mess. A home without lights, cold, dirty. A home with no clean clothes, no nice comfy bed, no toys. The place I had come from. Somewhere I didn’t want to go back to. They’d told me I wouldn’t have to go back there. Kim. The court people. The social worker. Mummy was right. They had been telling lies. They said I wasn’t going home and mummy said I am when she’s been to court. I had to show them this little bear knew they were lying.
And show them I did. I was cross. I did everything I could think of to show them what happens when this little bear wasn’t happy. I ran away. I broke things. I kicked Kim. I tore my books up. I started to swear again. If they’d lied to me I’d lie back. I told them it wasn’t me that put the remote in the toilet. I told them it wasn’t me that wrote swear words on the wall. I told them I hated them. That was my biggest lie. Inside I didn’t hate them. I loved them but couldn’t understand why they’d lied to me and why I was having to go back to mummy’s house.
I carried on like this for a good while. I was going to take charge here and make them hate me like I hated them. My comfy bed was next. I cut my duvet. Cut my pillow. I wasn’t having a comfy bed at mummy’s house so I needed to remember what it was like not having one. I’d better get used to it. Kim caught me. Scissors in hand and cut pillow by my side. I wasn’t prepared for what happened next.
Did the shouting come? No. Did the beating come? No. Did the throwing things around the room come? No. Did the threat of no dinners come? No. Did the hitting of walls or door come? No. Did the being called all the horrid names on the planet start? No. Did the pushing and shoving start? No. No they didn’t. That’s what happens at mummy’s house not Kim’s.
Did I start to feel really scared? No. Did I wet myself in fear? No. Did I throw the scissors? No. Did I shout and swear? No. Did I try to run? No. Did I cower in the corner? No. They were things that happened in mummy’s house too. So now I’m really really confused. They want to take me away from my safe place to put me back in mummy’s house. How can that be an okay thing to do?
And do you know? I think Kim could see what I was feeling inside. I think she could see I was angry about things – she didn’t know what. But more so I think she could see that underneath this cross angry bear face who said he hated everyone, there was a little bear who felt so frightened, confused and lonely and in desperate need of a tight squeezy hug. A little bear who had so much to say but not the words to say it. A little bear whose world had drastically changed by those few words from his mummy’s mouth – you’re coming back home.
Kim sat next to me and took the scissors from my hand. I leant into her like I do when I need a hug and she cuddled me. She cuddled me so tight I knew I was safe. And then I cried. I cried and cried and cried. And then I told her what mummy said. And do you know as I was telling Kim I knew it was mummy that wasn’t telling me the right things. I’ve grown enough to know what happened at home wasn’t how little bears are meant to live. But after all I’d done these last few weeks maybe that was how I deserved to live?
Kim just held me and let me cry away. I talked and talked in my crying. I don’t know how Kim could understand me but she did. When I was all cried out Kim talked back to me. She told me that she felt mummy had got things a bit muddled. How Kim and the social workers hadn’t lied to me. That I wasn’t going to go back to live at mummy’s. Kim and the police and everyone knew I wasn’t lying about the man in my room. They’d all seen what mummy’s house was like. My brothers had all said the same thing and they did believe us. Kim does want me to live with her till I’m a grown up bear. She was sorry that mummy had made me so very scared and mummy was wrong to say such things. My social worker came out to see me and told me just the same as Kim. That helped calm my tummy bubbles big time! They are going to talk to mummy about it and how it made me feel. They said sometimes mummies will say these things to stop themselves feeling so bad but they don’t think how it makes the children feel. Mummy isn’t going to be in trouble which is good because I don’t want that, but they want mummy to think about what she says. Kim used to say that to me lots – I used to say unkind things but didn’t think how they made people feel, so I know what the social worker means.
I’m feeling safe again now. Happy and so so glad I’ve still got my comfy bed. Kim got me a new duvet and pillow but I did have to use some of my money to help buy it. I don’t mind. Because I know when I say home it’s where I live now and that’s just how I like it!

Don’t Let Wrong Information Ruin Your Life
NICOLA’S STORY – ISABELLE FAITH PATTERSON
It’s scary how many still believe babies run out of room.
Midwifes still give this info out and Kicks Count are working to stop this.
My story with reduced movements – Isabelle Faith Patterson
I was a normal healthy pregnancy until 25 weeks. My babies movements started to decrease and I let professionals know, but I wasn’t listened to. I knew her pattern, I knew she wasn’t moving as much.
I went in several times (at least 8 times) but pretty quickly discovered our hospitals policy along with some other hospitals is still 28 weeks to be scanned or monitored. So all that happened was they checked for her heartbeat every time and said she was fine and I needed to relax. Isabelle wasn’t my first baby, I wasn’t crazy, I knew something was wrong. But they knew I had lost my first-born baby girl late into pregnancy and they just said I was over worrying and paranoid because of this.
27+3 weeks
I was rushed into hospital by ambulance really faint, a temperature and heart rate 3 times it’s normal rate. Heart rate problem was normal for me, I have a heart condition. All that happened was, they gave me anti sickness, checked her heartbeat and said it was a bug and sent me home.
27+5 weeks
It got to 7pm and I hadn’t felt Isabelle move for a few hours. I called up my mum and she said don’t worry, she’s probably just sleeping and I had my 4D scan booked for the next day anyway. But I couldn’t shake that something was wrong, so I rang up and they reluctant said to go in once they heard my name yet again.
I sat waiting to be seen for 2 hours, poking and prodding my tummy to get her to move and I got nothing back each time. But I still didn’t click in that she was probably gone.
I was taken into a room, asked why I had gone in so I explained she hadn’t moved in a few hours and she tried to find her heartbeat with the Doppler. The Doppler batteries kept turning it off and on so after about ten minutes she tried the CTG machine, that wasn’t picking it up either.
At this point I saw her face, she said Isabelle was probably just in my back, but I saw her face, she looked white. She said she would go and get the portable scanning machine and off she went to get it. My mum and me just sat in silence, I think deep down we knew, it was written all over the silence and ten mins later she came back in. She came back in with the scanner and said she would be back in a minute after she got some gloves, but then she came back in and said she found a doctor in the corridor and he would do quick scan but I didn’t believe her, I knew Isabelle was gone and so did she and that’s why she had got the doctor.
He asked the same why I was in etc and then he put the scanner on me, he held it there for ten seconds and moved it off again and looked at the midwife. He pushed around on my tummy and put it on again and this time he wasn’t quick enough to move it off me. Isabelle was shown on the screen still with no heartbeat and I knew. She wasn’t moving, there was no flicker, there was no sound.
It was the worst possible moment because the woman next door had clearly just given birth and as you heard the baby be delivered, he put his hand on mine and at 9:58pm said I am so sorry there’s no heartbeat anymore. I just laid there screaming no, it took minutes for tears to come because the shock took over. They said they would give me a minute to take it all in and would be back.
The midwife was the first to hug me, my mum was still, she couldn’t move and hadn’t moved since he said the words there’s no heartbeat, she was frozen. She snapped out of it when I asked for her to come over because I needed her. I told her before she does anything, ring Paul because I can’t do it. She went to the other side of the room and called him and all I heard was her say Paul I am so sorry and even though he wasn’t on speakerphone you could hear him shout please no Karen. She called my sister after him and my sister said she was dropping her works night out and coming straight to the hospital.
The midwife came back in and I asked what happens next and she said I can either come back home or stay in over night. If I choose to go home it’s totally my choice and I will come back in the next day at 8am to see the consultant and take the first induction tablet. I said I wanted to come home and be with Paul.
So we drove home in absolute silence and the only thing I did was post on my group to tell people she was gone. The minute Paul opened the front door I collapsed onto him. How he stayed strong I will never know but I am so thankful he did. My mum stayed for a few minutes till he got me inside and then said she would give us some space and she was only over the road if we needed her no matter what time.
It was 11pm so we went straight to bed. I collapsed entering the bedroom seeing the crib next to the bed. He helped me get into bed and he fell asleep pretty quickly. I laid there all night poking my bump telling her I was sorry I didn’t protect her. I’m sorry I didn’t say goodbye. I’m sorry I couldn’t save you. I think I managed to get an hours sleep after I spent hours crying and reading the replies saying they were in shock and so sorry.
Paul wasn’t well enough to go in with me so family took the kids and he stayed home in bed. My mum was with me for the entire process. We went in and I was given booklet and packs on baby loss and what happens. I met the consultant who said she was sorry and did I understand what had happened as I seemed really calm. I didn’t cry, I didn’t say a word. I don’t think it had even sunk in by this point. She asked me to sign the paperwork saying I consented to induction and I was given the first tablet and told that would start to thin my cervix. But with me having previous babies it may set my waters off so if it did and with my history of rapid labour I had to go straight in. If not then I was back in on Monday. I also met the midwife who would support me from start to finish and she gave me Isabelle’s memory box to take home and look through before I had her.
We left and my mum stayed at my house the Sunday night just incase and at 4am Monday morning I suspected my waters were going so we went straight in.
At 10am I was given the second tablet and told this would induce the labour and I would now be here until the end. I asked the midwife how she could say the end when my end had already happened, she was already gone. She didn’t know how to answer me, she just looked at me with tears.
I had already spoken to my birth photographer and explained Isabelle was gone and she offered to drop all costs and come and photograph it for free. Even though she had never done anything like it before.
She arrived about half n hour after I had taken the second tablet and asked what photos I wanted and I just told her to shoot everything she could.
Contractions started ten minutes after the second tablet and were bearable for a few hours and I was so tired, the midwives gave me diamorphine after a few hours to try to help me relax and drop off into a sleep as I was still only 4cm. My sister arrived to see me on her works dinner break and would leave after an hour. But only twenty minutes after they gave me diamorphine, contractions picked up and they recommended all 4’s to try to ease them but minutes after I got into that position I told them I needed to push and they said don’t be silly your only 4cm but they called in the midwives anyway.
Sure enough it was time to push. It took half n hour of pushing to break my waters and Isabelle was right behind them, the waters took more effort than Isabelle and the midwives had never seen so much water, it soaked the entire double bed and the floor. Seconds later Isabelle started to appear and in 3 pushes she was out.
The only thing I remember after this point is my first words when she was put on me, “She really isn’t going to cry is she” and at that point everyone broke down.
I don’t remember much after this. I went into a complete trance and the only memories I have are the photos and I don’t even remember the photographer being there!
They took her away and dressed her for me whilst I delivered the placenta and when it was delivered my mum asked was it supposed to be that small and the midwife just looked at her and shook her head. At this point I didn’t realise anything was even wrong.
My mum hoped Isabelle would show some deformity to show why she was stillborn but there was nothing, she was perfect. The photographer said her job here is done and thanked me for giving her the honour of doing it. She said she was going home for a bath and to sit and cry and we both gave each other a hug.
The post she made when she got home made me so upset. She truly was honoured to do this for me and that I trusted her.
Isabelle Faith Patterson was born at 28+1 – 19/12/16 – 14:55pm – 2lb 2oz ❤
On the 22nd December 3 days before Christmas. I held my little girl for the last time, said “goodbye princess”, put her in her Moses basket and watched the nurse wrap her up so nobody on the corridor would see and then carry her in her basket out of the room and that was the last time I saw her tiny perfect little face. ❤️
Post mortem results came 4 months later and revealed that my placenta wasn’t even half the size it should be due to infection and was starving her, her movements slowing down were proof of that. She was fighting for her life and I couldn’t protect her! The hospital have now admitted if they had listened to me and scanned me she would’ve been saved and now I have to live with that. Me being so poorly two days before, was the infection taking hold.
Mummies, always listen to your instinct ❤️❤️
Decorating your babies coffin and carrying it is something you never want to go through. Nobody should EVER go through that and for some they will have too. But don’t let it be because of bad information when your child could have been saved. ❤️❤️

Dear Teacher Please Look After My Baby
Dear teacher
I know you’re rather busy
First day back, there’s just no time
A whole new class of little ones
And this one here is mine
I’m sure you have things covered
And have done this lots before
But my girl is very little
She hasn’t long turned four
In her uniform this morning
She looked so tall and steady
But now beside your great big school
I’m not quite sure she’s ready
Do you help them eat their lunch?
Are you quick to soothe their fears?
And if she falls and hurts his knee
Will someone dry her tears?
And what if no-one plays with her?
What if someone’s mean?
What if two kids have a fight
And she’s caught in between?
You’re right, I have to leave now
It’s time for her to go
I’m sure she’ll learn so much from you
Things that I don’t know
Yes, I’m sure they settle quickly
That she’s fine now without me
I know she has to go to school
It’s just so fast, you see
It seems like just a blink ago
I first held her in my arms
It’s been my job to love, to teach
To keep her safe from harm
So, when I wave goodbye in a moment
And she turns to walk inside
Forgive me if I crumple
Into tears of loss and pride
I know as I give her one more kiss
And watch her walk away,
That she’ll never again be wholly mine
As she was before today.

My Child My Rights I Can See Him Very Little Or Very Often
I’ve not had my baby for six months. I left him with my Mum. She’s a great Mum and takes care of all his needs. He loves being with her too.
I wasn’t happy being a parent, I just didn’t feel fulfilled. I met Pete and we were in a new relationship, going out, drinking, socializing, all the fun stuff I didn’t get to do when I was a mother. The relationship isn’t in the ‘honeymoon’ period anymore though and I’m ready to have him back. ITS MY RIGHT. I haven’t had much to do with the baby but I’m sure he remembers me. I’m his mother and that’s what matters most. I GET THE FINAL SAY WHEN AND WHERE I SEE HIM, MY CHILD MY RIGHT.
Of course that is NOT true. But how many people were shocked at the idea of a mother walking out on her baby? Now ask yourself why you don’t feel shocked when a father does the same?
EVERY parent MALE or FEMALE needs to step up to their responsibilities. If you walk out on a child it IS NOT YOUR RIGHT to have them whenever you want. Children are not possessions. They are not something you can have whenever it’s convenient to you. They deserve loving and stable homes. It’s not about YOUR rights it’s about THIER rights, full stop.

The Reality Of Being A Stay At Home Carer To A Disabled Child
The reality of being a stay at home carer to a disabled child.
Of course we carers are grateful to stay at home and still have our child to look after but a carer is literally all you become.
The mental health professionals’ advice is to talk but;
Nobody talks about the isolation.
Nobody talks about the loss of identity.
Nobody talks about the loneliness.
Nobody talks about losing your sense of self.
Nobody talks about how you had to give up your life and often your job to care.
Nobody talks about how you cry in the shower out of sight of everyone else because your day was overwhelming.
NOBODY TALKS!
No one understands why you put your hand on your child’s tummy when they are asleep to make sure they are breathing.
No one understands the pressures of making sure they have all their medication and are given it at the proper times and proper dosage despite frequent changes.
No one understands the medical procedures you must learn and use daily to keep your child safe and healthy.
No one understands the scrutiny you are put under by professionals involved with your child.
No one understands why you only get 4/5 hours broken sleep every night even in the rare event your child sleeps all night.
No one understands why you’re always tired.
No one understands why you’re irritable.
No one understands why you need a mental break.
No one understands why you’re aggravated by your other children.
No one understands why you cannot take an active part in your other children’s schools.
No one understands why after you have been home all day your house is not spotless.
No one understands why you need just 5 minutes on your own.
No one understands why you’ve lost your sex drive or self-confidence to meet a partner.
No one understands why you are completely and utterly exhausted after all, you just sit at home all day.
No one understands the feeling you have when you are told you don’t have a “real job.”
NO ONE UNDERSTANDS!
Most of us carers have been in employment but gave it up to take on our caring role. When we gave up our job we also gave up our social interaction with other adults outside the family home.
I cannot tell you how many people have said to me “You have too much time on your hands. I wish I could stay at home all day.” I can guarantee after walking in my shoes for a couple of weeks they would soon change their minds.

To My Second Child I Loved Another Before You
To my second child,
You’re not my first; that much is true.
I loved another before loving you.
I’m a different mother this time around.
More calm and confident I’ve found.
Since you came, there’s a new dimension.
Two children now want my attention.
I was so excited first time ‘round.
This time I want to slow things down
Your ‘firsts’ will all be ‘lasts’ for me.
Last crawl and last to ride my knee.
You were not my firstborn this is true,
But the last child I will have is you.
You’re the last lullaby I’ll ever sing.
And ‘lasts’ are a special kind of thing.💙
