  • Amazing Lesson

A teacher brought balloons to school and asked the children to blow them all up and then each write their names on their balloon.

They tossed all the balloons into the hall while the teacher mixed them from one end to the other. The teacher then gave them 5 minutes to find the balloon with their name on it.
The children ran around, looking frantically but as the time ran out – nobody had found their own balloon…

Then the teacher told them to take the balloon closest to them and give it to the person who’s name was on it. In less than 2 minutes everyone had their own balloon.
    Finally the teacher said,

“Balloons are like happiness. No one will find it looking for theirs only. Instead if everyone cares about each others they will find theirs as quickly as possible.” 🎈

  • Your Duck Is Dead

    Your DUCK IS DEAD

A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird’s chest.

After a moment or two, the vet shook his head and sadly said, “I’m sorry, your duck, Cuddles, has passed away.”

The distressed woman wailed, “Are you sure?”

“Yes, I am sure. Your duck is dead,” replied the vet..

“How can you be so sure?” she protested.. “I mean you haven’t done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something.”

The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room. He returned a few minutes later with a black Labrador Retriever. As the duck’s owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head.

The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room. A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room.

The vet looked at the woman and said, “I’m sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck.”

The vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman..

The duck’s owner, still in shock, took the bill. “$1,500!” she cried,”$1,500 just to tell me my duck is dead!”

The vet shrugged, “I’m sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it’s now $1,500.”

You know the drill …..if you’re smiling, you must pass it on, give someone else a smile too! Share the laughter.

  • The Human Race Disgusts Me Sometimes

The human race disgusts me sometimes and here is why…

The media shout jump and 80 percent of the population shout how high…
People are fighting physically fighting over toilet roll… hand wash and cold and flue products…due to media scaremongering…

Think about that for just a minute….

Now what if the media said the only way to survive is if you kill all your pets ?
Would you ? I can guarantee that some people would …

What if they said your kids have to be locked away in a room on there own with no food and water…. for a week ….the scary thing is …some people would.

Humans are animals… naturally they will go back to there survival instincts and do what they think is needed to survive regardless of the consequences… when you think about that… and you think about how the media knows and exploits this… then you realise just how dangerous the media is.

Open your eyes people, start thinking for yourselves…

In 12 months time.. the media will be scaring us with something else….

  • The 5 Types Of Corona Virus Mums

This is hilarious 🤣🤣 which mom are you!?

The 5 Types of Corona Virus Moms 👩🏼

❤️The Kate’s: well educated, professional mothers who have been prepared for the pandemic since they first heard about it on NPR during their morning commute. She has contingency plans for childcare and a plumber installing bidets on all of their toilets.

💜The Chelsea’s: stay-at-home mom with multiple children. She is calm and rational and has her home well stocked with enough food and supplies to last them several weeks. She is on her way to Trader Joe’s (with a face mask and freshly washed hands, of course) for more frozen vegetables.

💛The Margaret’s: just realized yesterday that this might mean she has to stay at home with her children for weeks on end without any adult conversation other than her spouse. She is now afraid for her mental stability. Disney plus, wine, and grocery delivery services will be her only hope.

💚The Lily’s: part time mother and homeschooler, promoting her self empowerment and business on insta stories. Her home is filled with the heavenly scent of essential oils and her fruit and vegetables are soaking in the sink. Currently googling how to make organic hand sanitizer for her non-vaccinated, vegetarian children.

🖤The Stacy’s: have firmly placed themselves in the “f**k it” zone. She does not give a shit about the threat of covid-19 and will continue on with life as if everything were normal. She will be the mom willing to host play dates during quarantine and will definitely have wine to share when you run out.

  • The Symptoms Of Coronavirus

    THE SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS

    1. It will first infect the throat, so you’ll have a sore throat lasting 3/4 days
    2. The virus then blends into a nasal fluid that enters the trachea and then the lungs, causing pneumonia. This takes about 5/6 days further.
    3. With pneumonia comes high fever and difficulty in breathing.
    4. The nasal congestion is not like the normal kind. You feel like you’re drowning. It’s imperative you then seek immediate attention.

    SPREAD THE WORD

    CORONAVIRUS FOR GUIDANCE:

    1. If you have a runny nose and sputum, you have a common cold.
    2. Coronavirus pneumonia is a dry cough with no runny nose.
    3. This new virus is not heat-resistant and will be killed by a temperature of just 26/27 Celsius. It hates the Sun.
    4. If someone sneezes with it, it takes about 10 feet before it drops to the ground and is no longer airborne.
    5. If it drops on a metal surface it will live for at least 12 hours – so if you come into contact with any metal surface – wash your hands as soon as you can with a bacterial soap.
    6. On fabric, it can survive for 6-12 hours. normal laundry detergent will kill it.
    7. Drinking warm water is effective for all viruses. Try not to drink liquids with ice.
    8. Wash your hands frequently as the virus can only live on your hands for 5-10 minutes, but – a lot can happen during that time – you can rub your eyes, pick your nose unwittingly and so on.
    9. You should also gargle as prevention. A simple solution of salt in warm water will suffice.
    10. Can’t emphasize enough – drink plenty of water!

PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO FAMILY, FRIENDS AND CO-WORKERS.

  • Accidents Can Happen To Anyone Anywhere

March 10th 2017 My life changed forever.
Carseats save lifes. I put Jordan in a booster seat and strapped him in with a seat belt not knowing that his weight and height would have such an impact on his life, literally.

He was in his sisters old booster. I was in the process of washing his cover to his carseat and had taken it all apart so I figured he would be ok in the booster for the day since I was in a rush to go to my daughter’s school program and never in a million years thought I’d have an accident because I drive like a granny and boy was I wrong.

My Car flipped 4 times and the booster seat slid from beneath him causing him to slide through the seatbelt.
Ejecting him from the back window.
I remember grabbing his red jacket from the backseat realizing that he wasn’t in my backseat anymore. I recall kicking my windshield and screaming, running toward the highway, seeing him stand up and trying to yell “momma” when suddenly I see blood coming out of his mouth and eyes and notice his face and the back of his head fall off.

I remember the man and his son pulling over, he forgot to put his car in park when he realized what had happened, I recall the elderly couple running out to where we were, trying to calm me down covering us with blankets and praying. I recall me yelling “his name is jordan, he is 3 years old, he was born april 2nd 2013, he likes spiderman.”

I remember over 30 strangers surrounding us crying, yelling and praying. The ambulance separating us and hearing them over the radio. “The baby is losing a lot of blood and is unresponsive.” I recall them turning it off and mentioning a helicopter.
It took 12 hours of surgery just to put him back together and stabilize him on a life support machine.

Accidents Can Happen To Anyone Anywhere
Accidents Can Happen To Anyone Anywhere

Today Marks 3 years since the Drs told me he was trying to out breathe the machine and that I could stop planning for a funeral because my son is a fighter.
Weeks after, he woke up from a coma, he was going to be blind and possibly be in a vegetative state.
3 surgeries, 21 hours and 132 pieces of glass later they said his eyes were intact. I taught him how to get around (before he could see)walk, talk, potty train, use his hands again and most importantly PRAY, my baby prayed everyday.

My point of this post is; Accidents can happen to anyone anywhere. Carseats save lifes. God is real, never question him and always have faith.
Jordan and I love and are thankful for everyone who went by the hospital, prayed for him and helped us and show him love. We are forever grateful to all the good samaritans, sheriffs, surgeons, nurses , Texas state troopers, the EMS, EVERYONE That helped us on that day (Lamb county, Hockley county and Lubbock ❤)
If your child is a screamer and doesn’t like being in a carseat, just remember; a headache is nothing compared to burying your baby 6ft under. If you love them you will care.

  • Sids A Story Of Survival

I was always under the illusion that cot death/SIDS only struck babies under 3 months of age.

I always thought that if i didn’t smoke, didn’t have toys in the cot, had a new cot mattress, had my baby at the foot of the cot, and followed all advise to prevent it my child would be safe.

On November 17th 2010 at 1:30pm i put my very tired 7 month old son Elijah down for his nap, i didn’t want him grumpy on the school run, he was tired and teething so needed a little sleep.

At around 2pm my little dog Sinder became agitated and barking frantically, me not having a clue tried to calm down the dog, she wouldn’t stop and was scratching at my son bedroom door.

I looked in on my baby, my tiny sweet little lad was lifeless, lips were blue his eyes were closed, he didn’t move.

I grabbed Elijah out of the cot and then I stopped being his mum, he wasn’t my son, he became my patient, I cut off all emotions, I went into first aid mode.

I did CPR and rescue breathes, I didn’t have time to call for an ambulance i was alone and scared.

It took me 10 minutes of robotic movements, a cold woman just going through her previous training hoping to see a sign of life.

My baby screamed!!! He screamed in away ive never before heard.

I then realised I hadn’t even called an Ambulance, after doing so I phoned my friend and asked her to have my 3 year old son who was still at nursery.

    I didn’t pick up my baby,I didn’t cry,I didn’t feel, I waited for the paramedics in silence.

On route to the hospital I just stared into space, phoned Elijah’s Father and told him to meet me at Colchester Hospital and hung up, I couldn’t say what happened because in my mind I didn’t know I didn’t feel anything, i was in shock.

We arrived at the hospital and Elijah’s Dad and Nan where waiting for us, once he was with the experts and his dad I decided to step outside to get some air.

Now I knew my son was safe I was free to feel, the second I stepped outside I broke down into hysterical tears, dropped to the floor and felt guilt, fear, relief, i replayed everything that had happened in my head and was scared.

    How had this happened?

    What did I do wrong?

Why didn’t I pick him up?

Why didn’t I cry, how could i have felt so numb?

Obviously I now know had I felt, had I cried, had I thought for more than a second I would have panicked and my son may not be here today.

Elijah had to have numerous tests and then the heart breaking realisation that he had to have an X-ray to see if I had broken any of his ribs, and worse knowing that I couldn’t go in with him as I was 4 months pregnant with his baby sister.

Elijah spent sometime in hospital having bloods taken, sleep analysis and his father being trained in resuscitation.

Elijah is now 7 and every year I am thankful that I still have my amazing boy still with me, had I not known how to revive a baby things could have been very different.

I make sure all my family members and anyone who babysits has knowledge of basic first aid, if you can’t get on a course to learn how to revive a baby and child, how to clear an airway etc please go to the library and get out a book, even watch YouTube videos, download and print off have step by step guide and keep it on your fridge it could one day save someone you love. • I Punched A Child And I Liked It

I punched a child and I liked it

Yes you read the title right I did punch a kid and I didn’t just like it, I bloody loved it.

Ok maybe I should explain, I am the proud mum of 2 children Phoebe 12 and Max 8.

Phoebe is in year 8 at secondary school she is bright, kind and pretty.

Phoebe goes to school via public transport as we live 45 minutes away from the closest school.

Phoebe has been tormented and bullied on a daily basis by a 15-year-old called Joshua, he has spat at her, tripped her up, stole her phone and lots more.

I have spoken to the school at least twice a week for the last six months but as he is bullying her only on the bus and not on the school premises there was little they could do, I'[ve calle bus company but they say it’s not their job to watch kids on the bus.

I have tried speaking to his parents but they simply didn’t care.

Phoebe would come home in tears and beg to change schools or to let her cycle to school neither of which where feasible we live in the country side and other schools are even further away and it would take her hours to cycle and I don’t drive.

One week back after Christmas phoebe came home in bits she was inconsolable, once she had calmed down she explained that Joshua had got some boys to hold my baby girls arms behind her back and Joshua lifted up Phoebe’s top and mocked my daughters breasts.

I called the police in my eyes this was a sexual assault, the police questioned Joshua and gave him a slap on the wrist and told him not to it again.

No way was this little shit gonna get away with this, I phoned my work and told them I wouldn’t be in that day, I got on the bus with my daughter and as soon as Joshua stepped foot on the bus I lunged at him and gave a huge punch right on his smirking foul mouth, I sent him flying and told him if he touches my daughter again I would be taking it out on his parents as they deserved a smack as well.

I loved knocking the little shit into place and I honestly would do it again.
