  • Grandad Saves Toddler From Drowning

Lauren lawlor walker has taken to Facebook to share her Grandads story.

    Walker said “

So earlier on today my grandad TOM WALKER was standing outside of his job and heard a woman scream as he turned his head around the corner he seen a pregnant woman running around in circles screaming her head off beside the canal. As my grandad was getting closer and closer and faster and faster he seen something in the water, a little pair of legs, so as he was running he took his jacket and shoes off and threw them aside and immediately jumped into the water in his clothes.

There was also another man helping to save the little girl.My grandad then got the child out of the water to see it was a 2-year-old little girl with scratches on her and completely turned off colour. He checked her airways to see if there was anything blocking them and also checked her pulse to find that there was none.

He then started to do CPR on the little girl ( he is trained and knew what he was doing ) while he was doing CPR there were plenty of people asking him if he even knew what he was doing and after 20 minutes of continuing to do CPR my grandad brought the 2-year-old little girl back to life! She began to spit up the dirty water. After ambulances and fire brigades arrived he then walked back into work in his soaking wet clothes. He then got collected and on his way home a 40ft truck crashed into the car he was in but everyone is okay. It has been an extremely stressful day for him, emotions are everywhere.

The mans grandaughter is incredibly proud of her hero grandfather and added “Please share this post around so everyone can see what an amazing thing my grandad did today, he’s such a loving, caring and generous man who would do anything for others and our family would love for other people to see this too! PLEASE SHARE!❤❤❤”

  • Woman Have One Drawback And It’s A Big One

    WOMAN. . . . . . . . .

When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day…….

An angel came by and asked.” Why spend so much time on her?”

The lord answered. “Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?”

She must function on all kinds of situations,

She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time,

Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart,

She must do all this with only two hands,”

She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day”

THE ANGEL was impressed” Just two hands…..impossible!

And this is the standard model?”

The Angel came closer and touched the woman”

“But you have made her so soft, Lord”.

“She is soft”, said the Lord,

“But I have made her strong. You can’t imagine what she can endure and overcome”

“Can she think?” The Angel asked…

The Lord answered. “Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate”

    The Angel touched her cheeks….

“Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her”

“She is not leaking…it is a tear” The Lord corrected the Angel…

    “What’s it for?” Asked the Angel….. .

The Lord said. “Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride.”…

This made a big impression on the Angel,

“Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.

    A woman is indeed marvellous”

    Lord said.”Indeed she is.

She has strength that amazes a man.

She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.

She holds happiness, love and opinions.

She smiles when she feels like screaming.

She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.

She fights for what she believes in.

    Her love is unconditional.

Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life”

The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being?

The lord replied: No. She has just one drawback

“She often forgets what she is worth”.

  • Commitment Is Not What Everyone Thinks It Is

Commitment is not what everyone thinks it is. It’s not waking up early every morning to make breakfast and eating together. It’s not cuddling in bed together until both of you peacefully fall asleep. It’s not a clean home and a homemade meal every day, It’s not skipping down the streets holding hands or laying on the beach staring up at the stairs.

It’s someone who steals all the covers. It’s sometimes slammed doors, and a few harsh words, disagreeing, and the silent treatment until your hearts heal, It’s the small stuff, the pants on the floor, the washing up not done, the snoring. Then…forgiveness!

It’s coming home to the same person everyday that you know loves and cares about you, in spite of and because of who you are. It’s laughing about the one time you accidentally did something stupid. It’s about dirty laundry and unmade beds without finger-pointing. It’s about helping each other with the hard work of life, the wanting to fix each others problems! It’s about swallowing the nagging words instead of saying them out loud, the laughing at each others faults rather than moaning about them.

It’s about eating the cheapest and easiest meal you can make and sitting down together at 10 p.m. to eat because you both had a crazy day. It’s when you have an emotional breakdown, and your love lays with you and holds you and tells you everything is going to be okay, and you believe them. It’s when “Netflix and chill” literally means you watch Netflix and hang out. It’s about still loving someone even though sometimes they make you absolutely insane.

Living with the person you love is not perfect, and sometimes it’s hard, but it’s amazing and comforting and one of the best things you’ll ever experience.

  • Everybody Is Fighting A Battle-Be Kind

The news about Ant McPartlin’s battles with depression, crippling pain, alcohol and prescription drug addiction will have come as a shock to millions many people are angered by his actions which is fair enough he put others life in danger. He always seems so happy and full of life as one half of our nation’s favourite TV duo many still remember him as the fresh-faced kid and part of Pj and Duncan.

But it should be a reminder to all of us that, no matter how happy people look, everybody is fighting a battle… we never really know just what our friends, neighbours, colleagues and loved ones are going through.

Remember Robin Williams who made millions of people laugh and seemed like such a joker and a happy guy, he sadly lost his life to depression, so although Ant’s actions are awful maybe we should cut him some slack and support him through his illness.

Sometimes the people who seem the happiest of all, like Ant, are the ones hiding the deepest pain. Their smiles are a way to cover up everything that they are going through it is like their safety barrier, their mask, their way of hiding their true feelings.

As well as thinking about Ant, please take some time to look after those closest to you and see if they need your support, be free to listen to others, don’t give them solutions or tell them everything is okay, just listen and make sure they know you are only a phone call away.

Depression is not something you easily get over and it doesn’t matter how much money you have in the bank it can affect any person.

You never know what someone is going through.

    Be kind.

    Be there

    Listen

    Care

    Show compassion

    Always.

If you are suffering from depression please reach and talk to someone

  • Is the new Easy on nappy pants for wriggly babies advert inappropriate?

Is the new Easy on nappy pants for wriggly babies advert inappropriate?

The seemingly harmless advert shows a baby crawling away from its mother with a normal nappy on, which is falling off as baby crawls, on goes the video displaying a mum placing the easy on nappy, she rubs her finger around the top of the nappy and then slowly places her index finger inside of the nappy rubbing and touching he child buttocks, this is intended to show the stretchy material and the freedom of movement for the infant.

However some woman don’t like the advert and feel that paedophiles and sickos may get turned on or have sick ideas when they view it, one woman added that it may cause people to become aroused and act out their inner darkest wants after viewing this advert.

Do nappy adverts have to show the mother or the father rubbing around the private area, fingers dipping into the nappy and touching of children’s genital area and slow motion of rubbing of skin?

One man said that anyone who sees this advert as anything other that a marketing scheme or an innocent baby crawling around needs to seek out therapy

Please view the video now what you think about it, do you feel it could have been done better without the finger in the nappy perfectly okay the way it is.

  • My Daughter Loves Her Dads New Partner

Yesterday my daughter came out of school wanting to go and buy a present for someone special for the weekend. When I realised it was her dad’s girlfriend that she wanted to buy it for well my heart dropped right there and then and my face must have shown it too as I had to sit and cuddle her while she sobbed uncontrollably because she realised that what she had just said had hurt my feelings… I hid the tears rolling down my face while I held her tight. I hid my pain while she expressed hers.

I then realised that my own hurt was wrong, why should I be jealous of another woman who loves and cares for my little girl, and clearly my daughter feels the same way, my exs partner is not a threat she is an added bonus and a welcome addition to my daughter’s family.

One friend of mine expressed that she would feel jealous of their relationship and I explained that at first I was but soon came to realise that I have a strong bond with my daughter, she is my friend and my love for her is so strong, why should I be jealous that my daughter has someone who keeps her safe who wants to be a part of her life and wants the best for her.

Being a split family isn’t something I wanted and it is hard when you see someone you love move on and get into a new relationship especially when she is perfect, but I knew I had to grow up and put my daughter first, I don’t want her to grow up and feel see is stuck in the middle of a woman she likes and a mother she loves.

The way I see it is my daughter’s family has just got bigger and I am happy she has someone else in her life who is a strong female role model.

  • Woman Stop Degrading Yourselves

    Woman stop degrading yourself

Is it just me that finds this new tradition clearly invented by the male population, steak and blow job day really quite revolting and cringeworthy?

I’m sick of hearing about it, sick of seeing women degrade themselves over it on social media with stupid hash tags and awful photos of an over cooked piece of meat with some added emojis implying what will be happening later in the bedroom and equally as sick of men salivating over the prize they get to go home too which in reality will be a poorly cooked cheap Aldi own tough slice of beef and a wet willy and a choking woman who is wishing you would hurry up and cum so she can watch her soaps, she is not sucking you off because she loves you, she’s worried if she doesn’t you will find it else where.

Also I’m wondering when us woman get a special day like pick up and lick up, when men tidy up and then give us immense pleasure without us having to anything in return, this day will never happen, I say let’s all stop with this meat cooking and sucking and grow the hell up, and if you really feel the need to tenderise his meat joint keep it to yourself I really don’t want to hear about your lack of cooking skills and your poor gag reflex. Rant over

  • Cosmetic Procedures It Isn’t Worth It

Sally Roberts wants other woman to think twice about having cosmetic procedures.

Roberts said “On Saturday I had 1ml lip filler… (injected by a qualified nurse in a reputable salon), they were fine initially and I was happy with the result, but by the following morning they had swelled to the point I couldn’t eat, drink or talk properly and was in absolute agony, they continued to swell and GP advised me to go straight to A&E as I was at risk of going into anaphylactic shock.

It is now thought I’ve had a severe allergic reaction to the filler and acquired a nasty infection. After being in excruciating pain for days with rock hard, cracked, peeling, leaking lips, I am now on the mend thank god… I’m on steroids, antibiotics, anti inflammatories, anti histamines and strong pain relief.

Cosmetic Procedures It Isn't Worth It
Cosmetic Procedures It Isn’t Worth It

If I hadn’t have improved by today I was going to have to stay in hospital and go on a drip, but luckily the meds have started working and my lips have gone down in size but still nowhere near ‘normal looking’.

This isn’t a post slating cosmetic surgery btw as I love Botox and have never had any reactions with that, and I’ve always really wanted my lips done… but this has been a massive eye opener for me, I looked like something out of a horror film… there are more photos but not ones I’d share on here as I look like a crack head, my whole face was disfigured due to the swelling. So…

Cosmetic Procedures It Isn't Worth It
Cosmetic Procedures It Isn’t Worth It

If you’re thinking about lip fillers, be prepared for the possibility of a BAD reaction. The last few days have been absolutely horrific, the infection has gone into my blood and made me really poorly. You never think things like this will happen to you. NEVER AGAIN.

  • Vulnerable Child Restrained by Four Adult Males

A distraught mum has shared images of her badly beaten daughter we would like to help to prevent this from happening to another child and raise awareness

    The mum Claire Nossiter said:

vulnerable Child Restrained by Four Adult Males

My daughter is disabled she has autism and PWS. She can be a handful but we as a family have always tried to do our very best.

She attended a school for complex needs which is of the highest care need. The local authority provided a 1-1 during school hours this was a woman. Well on the 7th March 2012 my daughter returned from school looking like the pictures below.

Vulnerable Child Restrained by Four Adult Males
Vulnerable Child Restrained by Four Adult Males

This happened as 4 MALE members of school staff restrained her. She was sent home to me looking like this. I took her to hospital as I thought her jaw was broken. She was admitted to Yorkhill where I was questioned by police. As the consultant of 22 years experience had originally thought my story was bazaar ….that a school did this her original thoughts was it was me !!!!

The police attended and got statements etc They did a very poor investigation at this time but in Nov 2016 reopened investigation (after I complained)and charged 2 of the NLC employees involved culpable and reckless conduct. Well the crown office have decided not to take this to court and I want justice. Please can I ask you help me in getting the justice my vulnerable daughter deserves…

Vulnerable Child Restrained by Four Adult Males
Vulnerable Child Restrained by Four Adult Males

Our justice system is all wrong.

Every single staff member of the school are guilty as far as I’m concerned as each of them witnessed this or saw the aftermath but not one of them reported this.

No one will silence me…. I will not go away…. I will continue to fight like I have done for years for my daughter.

If I had done this to Lyndsay she would have been removed from my care but because it’s NLC staff it’s ok….. on her medical notes the doctor wrote to many bruises to count. Our justice system should protect the most vulnerable but it hasn’t done that in this case. I am asking you all to help me petition this and share this.

  • This Is Mum, Mum Is Helping Kipper To Read

This hilirious post written by a page called I know I need to stop talking has gone viral and for good reasons, it rings true for so many parents across the world

    “This is Mum.

Mum is helping Kipper to learn to read.

    This is Kipper.

Kipper has no intention whatsoever of learning to read.

Mum sits down on the sofa and tells Kipper to come and sit next to her with his book.

Kipper leaps onto Mum’s lap, elbows her roughly in the groin and knocks half a cup of cold tea over her.

Mum wipes cold tea out of her cleavages and asks Kipper to open the book.

Kipper tells Mum that he is “thirsty, so thirsty that I think I might DIE”.

    Mum gets Kipper a drink.

Mum asks Kipper to open the book.

Kipper tells Mum that he is going to wet himself “if I don’t go to the toilet right NOW”.

    Kipper goes to the toilet.

    Kipper comes back.

Mum asks Kipper if he washed his hands.

Kipper goes back to the toilet.

Mum asks Kipper if he washed his hands with soap.

Kipper goes back to the toilet.

Mum and Kipper sit down to read the book.

Mum reads the title of the book.

Kipper loses his shit because he didn’t get to read the title of the book.

Mum tells Kipper to calm the fuck down and asks him to read the first word on the page.

Kipper stares at the page for roughly half an eternity.

Mum checks that Kipper has not gone into some kind of hypnotic trance and suggests he tries reading the first letter instead.

    “D,” says Kipper.

Mum wildly applauds and tells Kipper to read the next letters.

    “D…A…D,” said Kipper.

Mum inwardly rejoices at the child prodigy she is clearly raising.

“And what does that say?” asks Mum.

    “D…A…D…spells……………….. PINEAPPLE!” shouts Kipper.

    “Fuck my life,” says Mum.

There are two sentences and six words on the first page of Kipper’s book.

It takes forty-two minutes to get to the end of the first page.

Kipper is yet to sound out a single word with even the vaguest modicum of accuracy.

Mum’s soul was leached from her body and systematically shredded into tiny confetti-sized pieces approximately forty-one minutes and fifty-five seconds ago.

Dad comes home and sees Mum and Kipper on the sofa.

“Reading together!” exclaims Dad. “What fun! Aren’t you lucky, having time to do that!”

Mum explains to Dad where she plans on inserting Kipper’s reading book the next time he makes a fucking moronic statement like that.

Mum leaves Dad and Kipper with the reading book and goes into the kitchen.

    “G…I…N,” sounds out Mum.
