  • I Quit My Job To Breastfeed My Boyfriend

Now not everyone enjoys their job many quit because of the stress of it, feeling under appreciated or don’t like certain colleagues but can you image saying to your boss, “I quit this job so I can breastfeed my boyfriend every two hours.” Well… this woman did.
Where did the idea come from? Mulford approached her former childhood sweetheart, 36-year-old Brad Leeson, with the idea, “It was like a light switch flicked in his head. I could tell him from his voice that he was curious and excited.”

“We were talking and Brad told me he had a thing for big-breasted women, and that size had always been a factor in his relationships,” Jennifer said. “I thought it was the perfect time to bring up adult breastfeeding -and see if he’d be interested.”

It was then that Mulford knew she had found the one. “At the moment I knew that I had a partner for life,” she said. “We both wanted the same thing out of the relationship — a magical bond that only breastfeeding can achieve.”

The search begins. Before Brad came into the picture, Jennifer was searching aimlessly for a man to be open to the adult breastfeeding concept. “When I read about the pure joy it brought others, I was desperate to seek out a partner to share an emotional bond with.”

He said yes! Brad was interested. The only problem? Jennifer hadn’t breastfed a baby, let alone an adult male, in over 20 years. She didn’t have any milk to feed to Brad.

The thing about a woman’s body is it’s not like you just suck on a nipple for a few seconds and milk comes out. You would have to trick your body by “dry” breastfeeding quite often to fool your body into lactating.

That is a lot of work, all of that dry breastfeeding to fool your body. Jennifer is so committed to this pursuit that she quit her job. “I’ve taken a break from my job because I want to devote everything to making this work.”

  • Perfect Parent Listen up!!!!!

Karen Johnson is a busy American mum and writer, so she’s familiar with the stress that comes with being a working mom. Like most mums, she takes shortcuts every now and then. In this case, as she says, her house is a mess. And like most mums, she’s criticized by people online for it.

Recently,Karen decided to take to Fb to call out mum shamers and the perfect parent parade, in an amazing ‘rant’ that has since been shared more than 430,000 times and attracted thousands of comments.

Girlfriends, I got to get something off my chest. My house is never clean. Like ever. I have friends (with kids) whose houses are spotless. Are they better mothers than me? Nope. Am I a better mother than them? Nope.

I work out every day. I have mom friends who don’t exercise. (I mean other than running around like crazy people after their kids). Does that make either of us a better mom? Nope.

I have a friend who gave birth in a pool in her living room. I pushed mine out in a hospital bed after receiving a gift from the epidural fairy. Both of us are good moms.

I drink a beer or glass of wine (sometimes in front of my kids!) on occasion. I’m a good mom. My neighbor and good friend doesn’t drink. Also a good mom.

I’m a yeller. I have a good friend who is quiet and extremely patient. I envy her. But we are both good moms.

I have friends who are super organic, chemical free, and dye free. My kids sometimes eat popsicles for breakfast. The cheap kind that are 50 for $2.00. Are either of us better than the other? Nope.

I swear, but not in front of my kids. Are you a bad mom if you do? Hell no.

I’m involved with my kids’ school but I don’t volunteer and live there every day. Are the moms who volunteer daily any better than those who never do? No. Am I incredibly grateful for the moms who volunteer every day and help the teachers? YES.

Are stay-at-home moms better than working moms? NO.

Are working moms better than stay-at-home moms? NO.

Are married moms better than single moms? NO.

Are you a better mom if you take your kids on exotic vacations? NO.

Can you be a good mom if you the closest thing you get to a vacation is the park? YES.

Can you be a good mom and have a super scheduled summer with lots of planned activities? Yep.

What about if your summer is lazy with no plans? Yep.

Do good moms let their kids watch TV? Yes.

    Play video games? Yes.

What about if you say no? Also fine. Your choice. You’re the mom. And a good one.

I’m a Christian. My friend and neighbor is Muslim. Another friend practices no religion at all. WE ARE ALL GOOD MOTHERS.

My other friend is gay. Her kids have TWO mothers. They are both good moms.

I breastfed. My kids barely had any formula. Am I better than moms who give their kids formula? NO.

So how about this? Can we all climb down off judgmental mountain for a second? And just support one another? And just say, Hey, motherhood is hard. You’re doing a good job. Raising kids can knock the wind out of a person. You got this.

How awesome would that be? Just a though

  • Woman Shocked People By Breastfeeding

A woman was seen in broad daylight casually breastfeeding her infant son in public, which didn’t seem overly strange to passersbys until they got a closer look at what else was happening  at that moment. A group of people couldn’t believe their eyes as they watched from a distance and didn’t do a thing about it.

While breastfeeding openly like this woman was doing has been a point of controversy for many opinionated people, that part wasn’t the shock in this circumstance. Witnesses were stunned that she not only had her baby son with her but decided to feed him in the middle of what else was going on.

The unidentified mother in Brazil was involved in a motorcycle accident where the bike was crushed beneath a car. The woman was badly injured and her son seemed terrified, but he was in otherwise in good condition, unlike her. As she sat on the side of the road surrounded by her own blood and the wreckage, she put her child’s needs before her own. Her leg was mangled and her foot was broken and facing the wrong direction, all while she kept her son’s attention away from the horror and breastfed him.

  • Plastic Found In Cow And Gate Milk

A member of Mums Advice has shared her shock discovery with other members when finding this when feeding her son.

So today I popped to town and just grabbed a ready to use milk carton by Cow & Gate for my son as I had major baby brain and forgot his powdered milk and only brought his bottles with his water in. I didn’t actually end up using it until I got home.
So as my boy was due a feed I thought I may aswell use it now I brought it. Whilst feeding him I noticed something black in his milk and straight away stopped and got out whatever it was. I also got the carton back out the bin and found a smaller black bit in the bottom of the carton with the remaining milk. It’s actually 2 bits of plastic! Couldn’t actually believe my eyes!!

I have phoned Cow & Gate to inform them about this but as was after 5pm there wasn’t anyway to take it further and someone will be calling me back tomorrow.
Just thought would share this as I know a few others that use these and just thought would let u know for future preference!
If u could all share just to let others be aware would be great!

  • Mum Used Her Last Breathe To Save Her Baby

Wyoming, Illinois, is a small town with only about 1,400 residents.
This small tight-knit community was where 21-year-old Shelby Ann Carter wanted to have a family.

She and her fiancé lived with her mum. Shelby worked as a beautician and had started studying to become a pharmacy technician. Then, in January 2017, she gave birth to her daughter Keana Davis. Shelby was so happy to be a mum and was looking forward to watching her daughter grow.

But unfortunately, her happiness was about to come to tragic end.

“She was making her mark in town,” said the town’s mayor”

But on January 30th  only one day after her 21st birthday — tragedy struck.

Shelby was at home with her baby when a fire broke out.

She called the emergency services  for help and told them that she was having trouble breathing. She hadn’t said anything about her baby which led to some confusion when firefighters finally reached the scene.
Emergency responders found Shelby on the 2nd floor of her house, but it was too late — she had died of carbon monoxide poisoning. But when they finally put out the flames and looked at the scene, they found something truly astonishing: Shelby’s 12-day-old daughter! What had happened?

Although the house was engulfed in flames, Shelby didn’t let that stop her from doing all she could to save her baby.
Finding herself and her daughter trapped on the 2nd floor, she quickly came up with an ingenious idea and rescued Keana Davis by strapping her into a car seat and dropping her out of the window. Shelby had obviously used her last ounce of strength to make sure that her precious baby girl survived.

“I guess it’s the motherly instinct to take care of their young. We’re all wondering why she didn’t go out after the baby,” explained the chief of the local volunteer fire department.

Keana Davis was rushed to the hospital where it was determined that she was completely unharmed. She was released to the custody of her family.

Keana Davis will never have the chance to know her mum, but at least she can be proud of her. Shelby is a true hero and will be dearly missed by all who knew her, her local community banded together to raise funds to help Shelbys family.

  • Man Ends Up In Court Over Viral Photo

When Heather Whitten’s son Fox was sick, her husband Thomas brought his son into the shower to help give Fox some relief.  The photo was taken by Whitten, who is a professional photographer.

“I snapped a couple of pictures,” she said. “It was just beautiful. It was not surprising or anything out of the ordinary; it’s how he has always been with the kids.”
She likes the image because it shows that “it is okay to get naked with your son and nurture him … the important thing is really taking care of your kiddos.”

While many loved the photograph of a loving moment with father and son and were upset when the photo was removed, not everyone agreed, and a single individual sent a letter of complaint to the local authorities.

The Whittens, who have four children — Lillian 7, Leena 4, and   2-year-old twins Fox and Persephone — were then investigated by Arizona’s Department of Child Safety and the Sahuarita Police Department for a number of claims that the person made in their letter.

While the police said they wouldn’t take action and the case would be closed, a DCS investigator spent the next few months working to portray Whitten as “an immodest, neglectful and abusive mother based on the single interview she had with me.”

Whitten detailed the whole ordeal on the GoFundMe page she made to help raise funds for her civil case.

She said the investigator’s negative opinion of her was largely based on the fact that she had chosen to openly breastfeed one of her twins during the interview.

The claim against the Whittens could be substantiated against Heather in that she “neglected to supervise our children by allowing their images to be online and so put them at an unreasonable risk of harm.”

If this claim turns out to hold weight in court, Whitten will be added to Arizona’s Central Registry for 25 years, and her right to foster or adopt children will be taken away.

  • Beware Of The Blister Beetle, When Your Children Play Out

Parents warning of seamanly harmless bug, please be aware.
      Warning!

Brecklynn had to experience this from them being around her play set and we didn’t realize they were harmful. She didn’t even fuss when anything happened around 8pm, woke up to her neck looking horrible the next morning and no signs of anything until the next morning.

Anyways, doctor appointment and a lab swab later she’s got an antibiotic ointment we are putting on the blisters and they are healing up well! Now to try and get rid of these nasty things out here!! Keep an eye on any Bugs that look like this because they are Dangerous!!! Her pediatrician said hey haven’t even seen it yet but they know about it all now and are well aware after our visit yesterday!

Blister beetles are members of a family of plant-feeding insects (Meloidae) that contain cantharidin, a toxic defensive chemical that protects them from predators. Accidentally crushing a beetle against the skin can result in a painful blister, the source of the insect’s common name. Blister beetles have long (3/4 to 1-1/4 inch) narrow bodies, broad heads, and antennae that are about 1/3 the length of their entire bodies. The front wings are soft and flexible in contrast to the hard front wings of most beetles.

  • Baby Born With White Hair

Baby Boy Born with All White Hair.❤️

A baby boy born in 2015 still has social media talking about his special features.

The little guy, who was born in Hungary, came into the world with a head full of beautiful curly white hair.

Baby Bence was born on time and as expected weighing 11.9 pounds.

Nurses in the maternity ward nicknamed him “Prince Charming,” not only because of his adorable little face, but also because of his snow-white hair!

He had everyone mesmerized the day he was born, and yet, Doctors  say he is not albino.

According to one doctor, the color of the infant’s hair was harmless and “not a sign of illness or prenatal stress.”

We think it’s just adorable. ❤️😍
