  • Most Of You Don’t Know Her But She Is Important

Most of you don’t know who this is but she is important.

Her name is Latasha Harlins. In 1991, at the ripe age of 15, Latasha went to her local Korean owned food mart and never made it out. The store owner’s wife, Soon Ja Du, mistook her for trying to steal a bottle of orange juice and a minor struggle ensued.

Du grabbed Latasha and ended up getting pushed to the ground. Du then went and got her gun and pointed it at Latasha. Latasha bends down, picks up the orange juice, and places it on the counter.

As Latasha had walked away to leave the store, Du shot Latasha in the back of the head at a 3 foot distance, killing her immediately. Du tried to claim self defense, but there were 2 eyewitnesses and the store’s security camera showed otherwise. The jury convicted Du and advised the judge to go with the maximum sentence of 16 years. Du walked away with 400 hours of community service, 5 years probation, and a $500 fine, as the judge said although Mrs. D acted inappropriately, her actions were justified.

Judge Joyce Karlin states that Mrs. Du was the victim, Latasha is the criminal and would be standing in front of her for assault on a store clerk had she not died. The slaughter of Latasha Harlins is one of major factors in the initiating of the LA Riots. We only hear about Rodney King but she is the original #SayHerName.

Tupac had an affinity for Latasha and has mentioned her name in several songs as well as dedicated the iconic song “Keep Ya Head Up” to Latasha. So today we say Latasha Harlins, you’re a pillar baby girl, whether they realize or not. And today, someone heard ya story❤️

  • My Oldest Son Took His Life The Signs Were There We Just Didn’t See Them

My oldest son Phillip took his own life on Monday the 18th March 2019. He was only 34 years old. For over 6 years he had been a loving single Dad to his 3 young children. Aged 12yrs, 10yrs & the youngest only 7yrs old.

The signs were there had we looked hard enough, had we realised what they were. He was depressed, down, had started drinking, found it hard to sleep. He hid this from us, instead, he would let us believe that all was well. We found out after he had died, just how low he had become. We found out that he had bought his XXXXXXXXXXXXX. As easy as that. We also found his suicide note on his p.c.

Saying how he had and was failing his children, how he had hurt others along the way. How with him gone, everyone would be so much better off. He was wrong, we were all so proud of him, a young lad taking on custody of 3 children, youngest at the time was only 7 mths old.

I never ever would have thought that it would have been Phillip that would take his own life. That day he had dropped his children off at school, had an argument with his ex and then with her family. He drove 5 mins away. Pulled over off the road. Posted a status on Facebook at 10.45. At 10.53 he uploaded a photo of himself crying on WhatsApp…

It would have been quick and painless the police told us when they knocked at our door at 1 pm. All over with so quickly. One beautiful life snuffed out just as quick as that. He lost his fight that day, lost the fight to his demons. Nothing can bring him back. The pain left behind is so intense, his 3 brothers & 2 sisters are walking around lost. A massive part of them has gone. My heart has been ripped out, my soul totally destroyed. Nothing is going to heal this hole deep inside us.

I don’t want his death to be in vain though. I need it to be worth something. If anyone is feeling the same way that my son was that dreadful morning. Reach out I’m Begging you. Talk to someone, even if it’s a total stranger. Death is NOT the answer, although it may seem like the only escape route. It’s not. YOUR LIFE MATTERS. You matter to people. You are worth saving every time. Please hear these words from the heart of a grieving mother, and get help.

  • 2 of the 3 Died Can You See My Errors

March 21st 2013, 6 years ago, this was my setup.

All was legal. They were in all the appropriate minimum weight and age seats.

This photo was taken 20 to 30 minutes before our collision while we were stopped for a break.

    2 of the 3 died.

This is not to scare anyone. This is to show the importance of having the right seats for your children and how much the minimum laws are lax.

Can you spot my errors? I sure can now as a technician.

-Owen 3 almost 4, just above 40lbs in a low back booster. He survived by pure miracle with head injuries and a broken arm as well as some internal injuries.

-Hailie 4 almost 5 just above 40lbs in a low back booster. She did what we call the submarine effect and died on impact.

-Trent 17 months above 22lbs forward facing suffered internal spinal decapitation which killed him almost instantly.

My goal is to help parents and the population know that the minimum laws set forth by our government is not safe. And I want to try to help prevent more injuries and deaths to children.

When we know better we do better.

  • Test For Parvovirus To Prevent Another Babies Death

A very close friend and her Husband lost their beautiful baby girl Sophie in December 2018 due to the Parvovirus not being detected before childbirth, her 40 hours on this earth were so precious to those around her, but her chances would have been doubled and more If she could have been treated in the womb.

Require a routine blood test during pregnancy for ParvovirusB19

ParvovirusB19 affects between 2500 and 5000 pregnancies each year in the EU. The disease is easily diagnosed and advances in the treatment can increase the chance of foetal survival. Currently blood tests are not routinely checked for this disease.

Parvovirus B19 is a virus that commonly infects children. It is usually transmitted by coughing and sneezing (respiratory droplets). Hand washing is important in helping to prevent spread. School teachers, childcare workers and mothers of young children are particularly likely to be exposed to this virus as it is commonest amongst younger school age children, but everyone can be exposed to it.

For most healthy people, Parvovirus B19 causes a mild, self-limiting illness which is followed by life-long immunity.
The Human Parvovirus B19 is not the same Parvovirus that vets may be concerned about in pets, especially dogs, and it cannot be passed from humans to animals or vice versa.

In women who are not immune, infection in the first 20 weeks of pregnancy can lead to serious problems for your baby before it is born. This would usually happen three to five weeks after the onset of maternal infection, but can be later

  • Maybe You Should Know The Facts Before You Judge Michael Jackson

Just a heads up for anybody who has 4 hours to waste to listen to people lie about being sexually abused, maybe you should get to know some facts first before letting the media give you a biased opinion.

For a start the alleged ‘victims’ have both previously swore under oath and signed declarations to say that nothing inappropriate ever happened.

Wade Robson, the self-proclaimed ‘master of deception.’ His own Mother said he could get an Oscar for his lies, was a key witness in the 2005 trial and helped Michael be acquitted. He continued to praise Michael and use his name for his career until 2012 when work dried up. He even personally emailed Michael’s nephew and asked if him and his family could go to his memorial.

He wanted to be successful and got the opportunity to be a film director of a dance film. It got too much for him so he tried to get a job on a famous Michael dance show called ‘One’ when they found someone who was more appropriate to replace him he turned sour and all of a sudden realised he was sexually abused for 7 years. If you do watch the documentary you will see him burn some memorabilia from Michael, it must be that repressed memory again because an Julian’s auction house came forward the day after it aired and said he had sold the items to them in 2011 and tried to remain anonymous but they wouldn’t allow it. 😂

He tried to sue Michael’s estate for millions and it got thrown out of court as there is no evidence and he has left it too late, not to forget the fact he has previously swore under oath, which is perjury. The reason they have done the documentary is because they are now in debt to the estate and are desperate for people to believe them. Believe what you want, but I 100 percent personally believe the man was innocent and was proven so in the 2005 trial. Not to mention the FBI followed him for ten years and found nothing. This is all about money and someone so desparate to be known and trying to stay relevant. It is so convenient that it’s coming up to his 10 year death anniversary too.

    It’s sad when we are moving forward with sexual abuse with things like the #metoo movement that proven liars, get away with slandering a dead man, but as Michael once said;

‘Lies run sprints but the truth runs marathons.’

  • No Parent Should Have To Go Through This-I Hope This Story Can Prevent Another Death

Here it is, the month I have been dreading for 11 months now. So I would like to take this time to reshare a post that is very important and very close to my heart. I know most of you have read it but take a moment to share it again. Last time it helped save the lives of 13 children. Let’s make it more.

In the wee hours of March 22, 2018 it was like any other. I got off work and I headed to pick up my daughter. She had spent the last week with her dad and I was ready for my snuggles. I was excited to hear about her week and I was dreaming of the late morning breakfast and playtime we would have when we woke up.

When I got to the babysitters she had carried her to my car, my daughter was completely knocked out she had had a hard day. In an offhanded way I asked if she was breathing, joking. Until I put my hand on her little chest and I felt no movement. In that moment I completely freaked out. I couldn’t finish a thought. I knew I needed to get her back inside and start CPR. I was so mad and terrified. I was yelling at everyone who got in my way or tried to say something.

I ran her back inside and laid her down and started CPR on her little limp body. In my head I knew I needed to remain calm but I couldn’t, I was yelling at my babysitter and trying to think about doing chest compressions and breathing and freaking out the entire time.

Finally, after what seemed like an hour which in actuality was probably only 15 minutes EMS got there and took over. For the next hour while they tried desperately to bring me back my baby I called my parents and her dad, I paced, I cried, I prayed. At times I felt like an outsider watching this awful event unfold. I had always had these nightmares but it was never supposed to happen, not to me. It was the most surreal moments in my life.

After an hour of watching them pump my little girls chest and breathe for her, they loaded her up in the ambulance and we followed behind. As we drove to the hospital the worst thoughts flooded into my head. I thought of the fact that the last time I had seen my baby awake she was begging me not to go to work and I went anyway. I was thinking about what it would mean for me if she was gone. I thought of what it would be like to plan my child’s funeral and all the things we would miss out on. I prayed to God that if only he would spare my baby I would do whatever he wanted.

When we got to the hospital they lead me to the small room off of the waiting room and started asking me all of the questions they ask when you go to the hospital. I foolishly thought this is a good sign. They want to admit her. I was there for maybe 10 minutes before a doctor came in say down beside me and said the words that would forever change my world, he said “we did everything we could but unfortunately we were unable to revive her and she did not survive.”

That one little sentence devastated my entire being. Everything I was in that little girl. She was my absolute pride and joy. If you asked me how I was doing it would usually go something like I’m good, my daughter…. But in that moment I couldn’t feel anything it was like my heart had stopped too. I was an empty shell. The shock was overwhelming.

When they took me to her little lifeless body laying on that big hospital bed I lost it. I wanted to hold her and lay with her. They let me. I held her as the heat slowly left her body and her skin became cold to the touch. If I wasn’t holding her I was running my hands through her little hair. Singing her favorite song.

After about 30 minutes or so they came to me and told me they had run some tests and it appears she had had undiagnosed Type 1 Diabetes and her blood sugar level was in the 500’s. I could not comprehend this information. How could my baby have Diabetes? She had went to her wellness check up only the week before and they told me she was healthy. How could she have died from a disease that I know thousands of people manage?

For those of you who do not know an average person’s blood sugar should not be above 120 and my child’s was 5 times the healthy amount. At 300-400 you start to go comatose. My baby had slipped into a coma and her little body was unable to fight its way out, and it gave out. There were no signs leading up to this it was unexpected. Diabetes does not run in either of our families and so we had no idea.

Later I found out that Diabetes is not something they test for in small children. They don’t typically test until they are school age and show signs. Unless of course it runs in the family.

The signs for Diabetes in toddlers are they drink a lot, pee a lot and are tired. It can also appear very suddenly. These signs are easily missed and overlooked because most toddlers do these things. The test is a simple blood sugar test that you have to request at their wellness check-up.

So I beg you to ask your child’s doctor to test for it. I beg you to become aware of the signs and symptoms of childhood Diabetes. I beg you to share this post and story with everyone because no parent should ever have to hear the words “I’m sorry but unfortunately she did not survive”.

The last time I shared this I got alot of questions that I would like to clear up. No she did not get shots at her wellness check-up. So please do not use my daughter’s story as an anti-vaxing platform. Also yes, some people have had higher blood sugar and have lived. Not every disease affects every person the same. So please do not tell me that I am lying or that I’m using my daughter’s story to get attention. Because that is exactly what I am doing, getting attention for childhood diabetes.

    Thank you.

  • Killed By A Dangerous Driver Please Help Us Change The Laws

This beautiful angel is Violet-Grace Youens, we call her an angel because she is no longer with us, she is no longer with her mummy, daddy or her baby brother…

She was walking from school after an afternoon play with her cousins one day when she and her nana were hit by a stolen car, the driver of the car then fled the country within 3 hours of the incident, we would like to support their campaign to ensure this doesn’t happen again, or if in the event it does, the punishment will fit the crime.

    💜VIOLET-GRACE’S LAW💜

    Please help, sign and share!

We need as many signatures as possible. The current sentence for Death by Dangerous Driving is outdated – the punishment does not fit the crime. We are petitioning for the government to act now… life sentences for Death by Dangerous Driving were discussed in parliament in autumn 2017; however, we are now in 2019 and more innocent people have been killed, and then insulted due to current sentencing guidelines. We are petitioning for Life Sentences for Death by Dangerous Driving – with a minimum tariff of 15 years (current minimum tariff for murder). Please see the petition for more detail.

On 24th March 2017, Violet-Grace Youens was 4-years old when she was mowed down with her nan, by a stolen car that was travelling around 85mph, in a 30 mph residential area. The driver and passenger fled the scene, with the driver fleeing the country within a matter of 3 hours. He is in prison now, but as it stands he will serve half his sentence in prison and half in the community, just over 4 years in prison – meaning he will be in prison less time than Violet was on this earth.

Violet was too poorly from her extensive injuries, and sadly passed away the next evening. Violet became a life-Saving organ donor.

Violet’s nan has been left with life changing injuries and the driver serves his sentence for her nan the same time as Violet, rather than separately.

We want to make the roads a safer place, no parent, or family should feel this pain – we have a life sentence without Violet-Grace.

  • Losing A Pet Is Harder Than People Think

Having a pet is something that fascinates us, they fill us with great joy from the first moment they arrive at our home, we are fascinated to feel their company and watch them do their pranks around us.
Many people who have pets, love to have them since these animals give us unparalleled love, they are a tenderness and we love that this is so, we feel very good in the company of our pets.
When we are alone, pets accompany us, they are always our faithful companions in good times or in bad times they are always with us, we like it that way since we feel supported by something.
When we lose our pet it affects us a lot and it is that many say that it hurts too much to lose a pet that for so many years we have been with her and that we have taken care of her and she has been our faithful friend.
It is very likely that at least once in your life you have had a pet, that you have loved it too much, supported you and accompanied you in your worst moments but you must say goodbye to the least expected day.
Many people say that a pet is happiness, they are angels in the form of pets and they always accompany us and love to do it as we also love them to follow us.
Losing a beloved pet hurts too much, much more than people think it hurts, many underestimate the pain that can be felt by losing our dog friend or our cat or any other pet we have ever had.
To verify this, a study carried out in the Department of Psychology of the University of New Mexico in the United States asked many owners how they had felt after the loss of their pet and many said that the pain had been very deep.
Another university but in this case in Hawaii, not only confirmed this fact but also said that the pain after the death of a pet is usually much longer lasting than the pain we feel with the loss of a loved one.
Many today say they have suffered a lot for the loss of their pet and that often that pain does not compare with the loss of a loved one.

  • God Bless And Protect Our Drivers

Father, who is this gentleman who is dead?

    I don’t know, son.

Just know he was a truck driver.

The young man is approaching a person with a white shirt and a very elegant pants, he was the boss of that driver, the boy grabs his hand and asks.

Can I know what a truck driver is?

The boss responds to a voice and his eyes full of tears

    A driver

Is a person who sleeps less than a lot of people,

It goes through the cold, heat, sun, rain, hunger, hours drive and endless waiting.

And there are moments when he doesn’t have days, Christmas, new year and many other important moments,

He’s very far away from his family.

    From their children

    From his wife

From his parents, brothers and sisters,

Regularly gets scolded or even beaten when they try to steal his goods…

    Go through thousands of fears…

If he leaves for work, he doesn’t know if he’s going home.

Or if he has to work for a few days because of the bad weather, or worse still lose his life…

.. That’s part of what a “truck driver” is.

Suddenly, the sound of a phone that is in the pocket of the deceased’s pants……

The boss leaves the child for a moment to take the cell phone, he sees it’s a message from his daughter and with very low voice starts reading it

    He reads:

(hello daddy ❤, I took the cell phone from mom

To wish you a happy birthday, I look forward to seeing you and giving your gift because after 2 days you are not back, I look forward to cutting your cake

Today we’re going to do it together!!

I love you, daddy. You’re a great father.

    I send you a kiss

I’ll wait for you at home.

That’s the life of a “driver” unfortunately often tragic

Regardless of his society, as a passenger or freighter…

If you can spread the post so that people instead of criticism appreciate the effort of a driver!

God bless and protect all drivers!

    Peace with his soul…
