  • Orca Who Died A Horrible Death At SeaWorld

Remembering Kasatka, an Icelandic captured orca who died a horrible death after a miserable ‘life’ at SeaWorld a little over 2 years ago.

On October 26, 1978 she was abducted from her family when she about 1 year old alongside her pod-mate Katina, who was 3 years old. They were sold to SeaWorld and sent to San Diego, California that same month. For 4 years, they lived together, but the two were separated in 1984 when Katina was shipped to SeaWorld Orlando, where she remains imprisoned today.

Kasatka was moved from Iceland to SeaWorld park after SeaWorld park – 16 times within 12 years.

Pictures of Kasatka rotting to death in an overcrowded, chlorinated treated concrete tank at SeaWorld San Diego began surfacing in July, 2017.

This poor soul was undoubtably in a lot of pain before she died.

They Euthanized her on August 16, 2017. Kasatka had been suffering from a bacterial lung infection since at least 2008 and her ailing body was covered in lesions before her death. Even though she was sick and on medication, SeaWorld artificially inseminated Kasatka again in 2011 and forced her to bear a fourth calf for the parks to exploit.

Never before has SeaWorld come out and said they euthanized one of their orcas. Not even Tilikum — who was suffering incredibly for at least a decade in his tiny tank.

Not one of their killer whales has ever died of old age. They all die because #CaptivityKills. 8 killer whales have died under “world-class care” since 2010 at SeaWorld, not including stillbirths. 3 in less than a year in 2017 including Tilikum of a ‘super virus’ and 3 month old Kyara of pneumonia.

SeaWorld has been asked many times by PhD marine biologists to share her bloodwork, necropsy, and make public the disease or infection she had. But they did not and will not, which is no surprise, because they never tell the truth about what’s really going on there.

Whether her illness was bacterial or fungal will never be known and is slightly irrelevant, she was eaten alive by opportunistic pathogens in captivity.

This is the same whale that we posted about a few days ago who nearly drown her trainer, Ken Peters. She has a list of incidents that involves her grabbing her trainers.

In case you missed it; here is the informative and poignant blog on Kasatka by Voice of the Orcas – former SW trainers and whistleblowers, Dr. Jeffrey Ventre and Samantha Berg, both featured in Blackfish: http://voiceoftheorcas.blogspot.com/2017/07/kasatkas-impending-death-has-seaworld.html?m=1

None of these pictures are Photoshopped. The photographer was escorted out of SeaWorld and publicly handcuffed as it did not follow their ‘protocol’

    RIP. Kasatka

    We see you.

    We care.

    We are so sorry.

    We are trying..

  • Premature Babies Were Put In Entertainment Sideshow

Thousands of premature infants were saved from certain death by being part of a Coney Island entertainment sideshow.

At the time premature babies were considered genetically inferior, and were simply left to fend for themselves and ultimately die.

Dr Martin Couney offered desperate parents a pioneering solution that was as expensive as it was experimental – and came up with a very unusual way of covering the costs.

It was Coney Island in the early 1900’s. Beyond the Four-Legged Woman, the sword swallowers, and “Lionel the Lion-Faced Man,” was an entirely different exhibit: rows of tiny, premature human babies living in glass incubators.

The brainchild of this exhibit was Dr. Martin Couney, an enigmatic figure in the history of medicine. Couney created and ran incubator-baby exhibits on the island from 1903 to the early 1940s.

Behind the gaudy facade, premature babies were fighting for their lives, attended by a team of medical professionals. To see them, punters paid 25 cents. The public funding paid for the expensive care, which cost about $15 a day in 1903 (the equivalent of $405 today) per incubator.

Couney was in the lifesaving business, and he took it seriously. The exhibit was immaculate. When new children arrived, dropped off by panicked parents who knew Couney could help them where hospitals could not, they were immediately bathed, rubbed with alcohol and swaddled tight, then “placed in an incubator kept at 96 or so degrees, depending on the patient. Every two hours, those who could suckle were carried upstairs on a tiny elevator and fed by breast by wet nurses who lived in the building. The rest [were fed by] a funneled spoon. The smallest baby Couney handled is reported to have weighed a pound and a half.

His nurses all wore starched white uniforms and the facility was always spotlessly clean.

An early advocate of breast feeding, if he caught his wet nurses smoking or drinking they were sacked on the spot. He even employed a cook to make healthy meals for them.

The incubators themselves were a medical miracle, 40 years ahead of what was being developed in America at that time.

Each incubator was made of steel and glass and stood on legs, about 5ft tall. A water boiler on the outside supplied hot water to a pipe running underneath a bed of mesh, upon which the baby slept.

Race, economic class, and social status were never factors in his decision to treat and Couney never charged the parents for the babies care. The names were always kept anonymous, and in later years the doctor would stage reunions of his “graduates.

According to historian Jeffrey Baker, Couney’s exhibits “offered a standard of technological care not matched in any hospital of the time.”

Throughout his decades of saving babies, Couney understood there were better options. He tried to sell, or even donate, his incubators to hospitals, but they didn’t want them. He even offered all his incubators to the city of New York in 1940, but was turned down.

In a career spanning nearly half a century he claimed to have saved nearly 6,500 babies with a success rate of 85 per cent, according to the Coney Island History

In 1943, Cornell New York Hospital opened the city’s first dedicated premature infant station. As more hospitals began to adopt incubators and his techniques, Couney closed the show at Coney Island. He said his work was done.

Today, one in 10 babies born in the United States is premature, but their chance of survival is vastly improved—thanks to Couney and the carnival babies.

  • How These Children Were Woken From Inevitable Death

In 1922 the scientists went to a hospital ward with diabetic children, most of them comatose and dying from diabetic keto-acidosis. This is known as one of medicine’s most incredible moments. Imagine a room full of parents sitting at the bedside waiting for the inevitable death of their child. The scientists went from bed to bed and injected the children with the new purified extract – insulin. As they began to inject the last comatose child, the first child injected began to awaken. Then one by one, all the children awoke from their diabetic comas. A room of death and gloom became a place of joy and hope.

In the early 1920s Frederick Banting and Charles Best discovered insulin under the directorship of John Macleod at the University of Toronto. With the help of James Collip insulin was purified, making it available for the successful treatment of diabetes. Banting and Macleod earned a Nobel Prize for their work in 1923.

  • Their Time On Earth Was Not In Vain

I found out I was pregnant in January 2011 with mine and my husband’s first child, we were ecstatic when we found out as we had been trying for just over 2 years. Everything was going smoothly at our 12 week scan we found out we were having twins.

At about our 16 week scan we found out they were identical and shared the same placenta and I had to have scans every 2 weeks but everything was going according to plan. At around my 20 week scan they got a bit jumbled up so it was late, I ended up having the 20 week scan at 21 weeks pregnant and found out we were having boys, I had another scan the next week on a Thursday but when we arrived for the scan they cancelled it as I had had one the week before and they said the consultant would think the boys weren’t growing properly if they did the scan.

So with it being cancelled we went to my mum’s in Cambridgeshire for the weekend as we lived in Ipswich at the time. The day after my scan was supposed to be on I started getting cramps so rang my midwife and asked her what they could be she told me it was Braxton hicks and to take some painkillers and it will pass, by the Saturday the pains still hadn’t gone so my mum took me and my husband Daniel to the out of hours doctor at the hospital where she lived, he checked the boys heart beats which were fine and concluded it was Braxton hicks and to take painkillers so I carried on doing what they said as they were the professionals.

I managed to cope as best I could with the pain and by Sunday evening it was time for us to go home back to Ipswich. I awoke early hours of Monday 6th June to immense pain, I went to the toilet and saw that I had the show so I woke my husband up in a panic and he rushed me straight to the hospital, we arrived at about 4:30 in the morning were they said they would check me over.

They checked the boys heart beats which were still fine and told me they would keep me in for monitoring, as I was 22 weeks and 5 days pregnant I thought I had to pee so I got up to go to the toilet but as I stood up I haemorrhaged everywhere, I had never seen so much blood in all of my life, I remember seeing my husband’s face drain of all colour and screaming at him to get help.

Then everything got chaotic with lots of people rushing in and screaming at each other as to what was happening, as nobody knew they didn’t find out what was actually wrong until they checked me internally and found out I was already 10cm dilated and ready to push, so what everyone had thought was Braxton hicks was actually proper contractions and I had been in labour for 4 days and no one had picked it up until it was too late.

I remember Daniel screaming at the doctors asking what was happening and what would happen to his sons, they told him there was no hope for them as they wouldn’t be born alive. During all of the commotion they rang my mum so she could be there and they gave her the choice on who to save me or her grandsons, me and Daniel never got given that choice.

I was given gas and air and an injection to help with the pain, I remember the midwife breaking my waters and it absolutely covering her which made Daniel laugh even in the darkness he was feeling. Our first born son Zack Lee Brame came in to this world at 6:08am on June 6th 2011 crying his little heart out to our shock as they said he would be born dead, I remember he was taken straight out of the room from me, I didn’t get to see him or even give him a cuddle, our second son Blake Stephen Brame was born at 6:18am exactly 10 minutes after Zack and was also screaming his head off I remember looking down and seeing that their placenta had come out whole still attached to him but he was also taken straight out of the room from me.

Things were a blur for a bit until my mum and dad arrived at about 7:30, Daniel’s mum had also come but I don’t remember her turning up just her being there when my parents came in. when my mum arrived I needed the toilet so she took me but was disgusted at the site that was in the bathroom before us, there was dried blood all over the floor and walls of the bathroom and used sanitary pads and dirty blood stained gowns on the floor so it hadn’t been cleaned before I had arrived as I was the only one on that ward.

I remember my mum blowing up at the midwife for the state of it as it was unhygienic and an infection risk, after my parents had arrived a midwife came in asked us if we wanted to see our sons and of course we did but I wasn’t prepared for what was to come she wheeled them in to us but they had sadly passed away but were still warm and twitching, we took photos of the boys and had them blessed and the midwife took their hand and foot prints for us and gave us memory boxes to remember them by, I was asked to see if I wanted to consent to a post mortem of the boys to find out what actually happened so we agreed to do it and ticked the boxes on the forms for all bits to be returned to our chosen funeral director in a few weeks time ready for their funeral.

I was discharged a few hours later where I had to face my midwife in the lobby of the hospital asking me what I was doing there as nobody had notified her to what had happened. I remember breaking down and my mum having to explain everything to her. Me and Daniel had decided to stay at my mum’s for a few weeks as we couldn’t face going home to our flat as all of the baby stuff was there, his mum and dad offered to clear the flat for us as we couldn’t face having to see it all knowing we would never be bringing our sons home.

During the time at my mum’s we started the funeral arrangements through the hospital but decided to go private after finding out we wouldn’t get any ashes if we cremated them or if we buried them they would be put in a mass grave with other babies and just be a number in a plot. After about a week at my mum’s we had to return home as Daniel had to go back to work and we needed to register the boys deaths and births, when we went to register them we actually found out they had lived for over an hour!

And we never got to see them; the hospital had just left them to die. Finding that out destroyed us even more knowing that something could have been done to try to save our sons. A few weeks later we got the call that the boys had come back from the post mortem and that we could go ahead with their cremation so we did they were cremated on July 22nd 2011 at Cambridge crematorium over a month later since they were born, saying good bye was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do.

A few weeks later I get a letter in the post stating that the slides from the post mortem are ready to be returned for their funeral when they were supposed to have been returned with the boys, furious I rang them up and told them I wanted them destroyed so that they couldn’t be used for medical studies. About a year and a half later me an Daniel decided to contact a solicitor about a medical negligence claim against the hospital where we found out that I was actually further along in my pregnancy then what they had told me it turns out I wasn’t 22 weeks and 5 days I was actually 23 weeks and 4 days pregnant over the age where they could have tried to save my sons, we also found a lot of discrepancy’s in my medical notes on how they had died but a lot of bits were missing and still are missing like my maternity notes the boys medical records/birth notes and their post mortem results.

In 2013 I was contacted by ITN to do a show called Amanda Holden: exposing hospital heartache on the treatment I had received which aired on 24th march 2014 where we found out that the slides from the post mortem had not been destroyed like they were told to do but were in fact still being held at Addenbrooke’s hospital which is reminisce of the whole alder hay scandal. since airing I have found out that my sons slides from the post mortem will not be destroyed like I want but are being kept on their medical file which I’m not allowed access to and I can never have closure because of this.

To this day we still don’t have answers from the hospital as to what actually happened and why nobody actually picked up my labour until it was too late, my aim for telling my sons story is to get the law changed in to which all hospitals intervene to save a baby’s life, as currently a child born before 23/24 weeks gestation they do not legally have to intervene in saving their lives, we have also discovered that it’s a post code lottery as to where you live if they will help as if I would have given birth at the hospital where my mum lives they would have tried to save my sons as they breathed. The Hippocratic Oath that doctors sign states that all life is precious. I do have all of the proof for my story as I have my medical records which show the discrepancies and the forms for their post mortem. Thank you for reading mine and my son’s story Kelly-Anne Brame .

Share this please help get her story out. Help her make sure their time on earth was NOT in vain!!

  • Last Night Olivia Nearly Died And It Was My Fault

    Last night Olivia nearly died.

    And it was my fault.

I made her and Oscar a snack, handful of grapes and some dried cereal.

It was the first time since hearing about that poor child who died chocking on a grape that I didn’t cut them in half.

I figured- she’s almost 5, she isn’t the kind of kid to shovel food and choke, and I was rushing to finish cleaning the house.

So off she went up stairs with her bowls of snack to carry on playing with her brother. I continued hoovering, luckily I’d switched it off when I heard her at the top of the stairs. I knew in an instant what had happened. I ran to her. She couldn’t breathe.

She had gone to chew a grape and it had shot to the back of her throat, gone down and got wedged.

I turned her over and hit her as hard as I could between the shoulder blades and still nothing. She was looking me dead in the eyes and her lips turned blue as she couldn’t breathe.at.all.

Jamie finally managed to perform some manoeuvre on her that sent a grape flying across the room.

I lay here now watching her sleep I’ve cried most the night & my heart hurts as I look at her chest where there are still nail indentations from where she clawed at her throat for air, PLEASE PLEASE let this be a reminder to all the parents out there – my life nearly changed forever last night all because of my carelessness.

  • This Cheap Little Bag Stole My Sons Life

    MDMA

Cheaper than alcohol and far too easy to get hold of. It’s on every street and I’ve only just found out that most kids are taking it. They don’t even bother trying to get alcohol now, if they do it’s a ‘bonus’

Well this lovely little bag of white that cost around a tenner nearly cost my son his life. My son who turned 14 at the beginning of the month, who I’d never have even thought would even consider being so stupid. My son who went out with ‘friends’ – friends of which left him to die on a cold wet pavement all alone when it started to get serious.

I received a phone call from a stranger who had used his phone to call me, a lovely lady called Jane who had been driving past and saw my baby boy convulsing so severely he’s lucky he didn’t crack his skull. It took several grown adults to pin him down to prevent injury whilst keeping his airways clear and fetching blankets and duvets until I could get there.

I watched him as he turned blue in the back of the ambulance, I watched as he was put to sleep in intensive care to prevent any further damage, I watched as machines had to do his breathing for him. I watched the look of desperation on my mums face, pleading with the doctors to tell her her grandson would live. ….

….. he did, he’s alive, there’s no lasting injuries just the memory of that night. Thank God!

But as for his friends….. there are no words, well there are but il refrain. How dare anyone, let alone a friend leave someone, so young, so vulnerable, so close to death-so alone? I bet you all went back to your own warm beds and planned your next night out on ‘magic’

  • I Married A Bully But My Daughter Got A Worse Deal

    I married a bully.

I married a piss poor excuse of a man that started slapping me after the first year. He then went on to constantly give me black eyes, break my nose and even shove a glass in my face. Jade was only a little girl, but she saw some of it, and when she was at the age of 4 or 5 I left him. He started turning the light off and back on again because he knew it scared her. He could do what he liked to me but I would never cry. His only way to really get to me was through Jade. That was enough for me to exit that marriage, so we left. I left my own house and a lot of what was in it just to get away from that scumbag; I was not prepared to put her in danger.

Jade knew what was going on and as she grew she wasn’t going to let anyone treat her the way I had been treated. She’d seen the pain I’d had to go through and the pills the doctor put me on because of the state I was in. Valium, Amitriptyline, Prozac… You name it, I’ve been on it.

At the ripe old age of 26 I was a wreck. Beaten black and blue for years by a piece of shit whose aim in life was to kick fuck out of someone he professed to love. He’d cover me in ‘love’ bites and scrawl big purple welts down my back. HIS marks!

So, Jade steered clear of scum like him. Then she met someone she hadn’t seen for years and started dating him. It lasted about 7 months from start to finish. He wanted her to settle down, have kids etc but that’s not what she wanted. Jade was loving life. She loved her job, had her own house, new car, went on different holidays around the world, loved her family and her friends. Life couldn’t have been better for her.

    Jump forward to today…

6 years ago today, at around this time 5:45pm, Jade sat on my sofa and told me her new ‘man’ was jealous, possessive and that she had finished with ‘him’ but not told him. She said she wanted to ‘break away gently’, so had told him she wanted a little space. I told her he would hit her. I know the signs; been there, done that. She said she didn’t think he would.

I never saw her again because 2 days later she was dead.

Backed into her own kitchen, stabbed 96 times with at least 4 of her own kitchen knives, while he screamed at her ‘that’s what you get for being a slag’. The filthy, murdering bastard thought she was seeing someone else, when all along she wanted a little peace away from his demands. And away from that bitch of a mother of his who supplied the bullets for the murderers imaginary gun.

He made such a mess of Jade that I never got to say goodbye. I wasn’t able to see her because he shredded her; something his mother saw and hope she sees every single night when she closes her eyes and every single morning when she opens them.

I don’t dwell on those scumbags, but they are still breathing, so I hope they both suffer a long, excruciatingly painful death. And I hope Jade haunts them every rotten day they are on this Earth, but she won’t. Because Jade was lovely and wouldn’t dream of doing such a thing.

So, my darling Jade, I will be reading my cards in a moment and hoping you will come to me for a little while. I miss you so bad and regardless of what people say, it doesn’t get any easier.

    Keep on dancing up there

  • To The Person Who Said Yeah Right That’s Not A Service Dog

This is to the rude person that said to their child (after their child said “look daddy, a service dog!”) “yeah right, that’s not a real service dog.” And to the woman who said “Looks like anyone can put a vest on their dog and call it a service dog these days.” And to the many others who have given me rude comments and dirty looks. You judge me without even knowing me.

Don’t I look fine? I look like I’ve got it all going for me. My hair is perfectly curled, my makeup is flawless, and I’m cute as a button in my favorite Disney attire. You wouldn’t think anything could even be wrong with me.

You see, not all disabilities are visible. I have PTSD from watching my 6 year old son die right before my eyes in a car accident on our way to Disney for his 7th birthday. I see the image of my child being killed every day of my life for the last 8 years. Every. Single. Day. I have awful panic attacks that happen at random and I can’t predict them. I have terrible night terrors and severe anxiety. This Service Dog sitting next to me helps me stay calm and when a panic attack happens, he senses it. He immediately leans against me, I bend down to him, he puts his nose to my nose and he brings me back to reality without having to use seriously addictive medication. This Service Dog is my best friend. He makes me feel like I can conquer the world and gives me that confidence, just by being by my side. When he is “working” with his vest on, he walks right beside me, not pulling me. He doesn’t get distracted by other dogs walking by, he is always paying attention to what I’m doing and if I’m getting anxious. I have spent many many many many countless hours working on his training with All American Dog Training Academy making him into the service dog his is today. He doesn’t bark at anyone, he doesn’t even pay any attention to anyone walking by. If I just “wanted to bring my pet with me everywhere” he wouldn’t be this well trained and in tune to my needs.

Just because someone is different than you, doesn’t mean you need to be a complete asshole. You have no idea what someone has gone through and what they have lived. Instead of judging someone, maybe just be empathic to their situation and not make snide comments as they walk by.

No, I don’t HAVE to explain myself, but I do it to maybe help someone else with a service dog that has gone through the same experiences of rude people that I have. And maybe, just maybe, those rude people will read this and realize how hurtful they truly are.

Just remember, you never know what disability someone has by looking at them on the outside, so don’t be an asshole.

  • One Of The Saddest Chapters In History

One of the saddest chapters in history.

George stinney Jr, the youngest person to be sentenced to death in the United States

He was 14 years old when he was executed in an electric chair. During his trial he always carried a Bible in his hands claiming his innocence. He was accused of killing two white girls, 11 year old Betty and Mary of 7 whose bodies were found near the house the boy and his parents lived. At that time, all members of the jury were whites. The trial lasted 2 hours only and the sentence was dictated 10 minutes later.

The boy’s parents were not allowed in the court room, and subsequently expelled from that city after the trial.

Before the execution George spent 81 days in prison without being able to see his parents, he was held in solitary 80 miles from his city, he was held alone without anybody to talk to. He was electrocuted with 5380 VOLTS IN HIS HEAD.

70 years later, in 2014, his innocence was finally proven by a judge in South Carolina. )

  • A Miraculous Micro-Preemie Birth Story

A Miraculous Micro-Preemie Birth Story and Why Every Baby Should Get To Keep Their Own Cord Attached

I have something crazy to tell you. I’ve only ever told a very small handful of people. Very small. I’ve never went public with this.

My micropreemie twins (born at 1 lb, 3 oz and 1 lb, 7 oz) were not born at a hospital.

At 25 weeks gestation, I started to have some cramping in the middle of the night. I took a hot bath and the cramps subsided. I drank tons of water and laid in bed. When I felt a little more cramping, I took another hot bath and they subsided again. I really thought I was fine, nothing to see here. I’ve gone past (even WAY past) my due dates with all my other babies!

Fast forward to early morning and I realized that I needed to get to a hospital NOW.

But it was too late. I felt the urge to push.

    I reached down and felt…

    a baby’s head.

I rushed downstairs to load up in the van (I had already woke up hubby and he was getting us out the door).

    But it was too late.

I went to the downstairs bathroom and instinctively reached down to catch a baby. I put this baby on my right quadricep and reached for another baby with my left hand. I put the second baby on my left quadricep.

Right there in my bathroom. Two teeny babies were born.

I yelled for hubby to get in there and he was already on the phone with a 911 dispatcher. Baby B was still in the sac. I had given birth 4 times before this, three of those times being healthy, full-term homebirths. I knew we needed to rupture the sac so hubby did this in about two seconds. Both 25 week babies were breathing on their own! Baby A was making tiny, little noises.

Soon Baby B started to turn blue though, we thought we were losing her/him. We didn’t know if he/she would make it, if either of them would make it. Hubby takes CPR classes every year at work so he knew exactly what to do.

Hubby gave breaths until the paramedics arrived.

What a sight those men saw!

The paramedics didn’t act panicked but they obviously had no clue what to do. I yelled at them to give my babies oxygen!!

This next decision saved their lives! THIS is why I’m sharing my story!! The paramedics wanted to cut the babies’ umbilical cords so that they could get us to the hospital easier.

They didn’t know they were dealing with an experienced home-birth Mama!!

NO WAY was I letting them cut my babies’ cords!! I don’t even cut my 40-week cords right after birth! And those babies were full-term! The nourishment and stem cells and oxygen that my babies were getting from their cords was their only hope!

The paramedics kept insisting and arguing that we get the cords cut. I replied, “I am NOT cutting these cords, get me on the stretcher and get us to the hospital NOW.” I think they possibly assumed that the babies wouldn’t make it and only mother needed care. I didn’t need any medical attention whatsoever. I just wanted my babies helped!

On the 5 minute drive to the hospital, they still kept pressuring me to cut the cords! I changed the subject… “Can you look and tell me if I have boys or girls or one of each? That poor paramedic having to lift a leg the size of his pinky. He announced the first one… girl. He checked the second one… girl! My heart was melted! Even in a scary situation, I remained calm. Because of Jesus within me!

The key miracle in this story: We made it to the hospital with cords still attached! And babies still alive! They got to keep their cords attached for 20 minutes! Thus saving their lives!

Later that day and for months to come, the neonatologist and staff went on and on and ON about how leaving the cords attached absolutely saved Hannah and Haley’s lives!!! The neonatologist that was there that day had even published a paper about Delayed Cord Clamping!

So whether your baby is 25 weeks or 40 weeks, DEMAND that your baby’s cord is left attached until it has turned completely white and has stopped pulsing! For some babies, this will be 45 minutes to an hour!

To rob a sweet newborn baby of her very own blood is criminal! One-third of the blood that belongs IN your baby’s body is still in the cord and placenta at birth! This means we should be waiting until the cord has turned white and stopped pulsing before we even THINK about cutting off baby’s blood supply!

And seriously, what’s the hurry? Is doctor’s lunch or clean-up more important than your baby getting all those amazing stem cells that go to work doing powerful things? Baby needs those stem cells! They provide healing for every nook and cranny of baby’s body and they provide amazing nourishment. Not only that, but they provide long-term health benefits as well! Staff can work on compromised babies right on Mama’s belly with cord attached!

When babies start off WITHOUT 1/3 of their very OWN blood, they are now compromised and health problems can arise. Please, no matter what any doctor (or paramedic!) ever tells you, let baby have her OWN blood from that cord!!

I will say, the paramedics were only following protocol, I don’t blame them. In fact, they were such sweethearts and visited us in the hospital several times. They genuinely cared about how we were doing. We’ve since visited then at the station and thanked them for arriving quickly and getting us to the hospital in record time.

PS: Your baby’s blood is perfect. Decline the “Vitamin” K shot. If you read the manufacturer’s insert, you’ll see that it can cause death, jaundice, respiratory distress, cardiac distress, and more. It’s not “just a vitamin.” It’s a toxic concoction meant to sludge up your baby’s blood. Your baby is perfect just the way God made her, blood and all! Perfect even at 25 weeks… but 40 weeks is more ideal!
