  • A Caesarean Is A Lifelong Disability

Something we all should know ❤

A Caesarean section is a lifelong disability from the birth of a child until the death of a mother.
Many people often passes remarks like, “Oh, Caesar’s pain is nothing but only cuts the stomach !!
But let me tell you that the baby has to be brought into the world by cutting the 8 curtains of our body. Yes, maybe the feeling of cutting the abdomen is not understood coz of anesthesia before a caesarean section but within half an hour,
3 hours of saline are over.
This spinal injection injected into the spine through a thick syringe causes lifelong pain in the back of the woman..
The next 24 hours brings immense pain, that kind of pain where u feel somebody has chopped one of your body part but had not applied medicine but yes, it’s endurable after surviving that pain for 48 hours.
First 24 hours you cant even turn yourself on bed, forget about walking by yourself for washroom!
Believe me, when the retirement period of anesthesia is over, you have to squirm like a hen with a cut throat.
24 saline is given in 24 hours and there is no need for me to say what is the pain in the injection site, when they puncture both your hands one by one with the saline syringe.
Canola saline is running in her hand, Catheter’s frozen body is trembling in the urinary tract.
And still with all these struggles, we have to breastfeed the new born baby and smile at the Relatives and on top of it listen to the 100 uninvited advise people and relatives around.
So, I want to ask people who age this mindset that a Woman who brings the baby to the world through C-section has no indepth connection with her child like the women who do “Normal vaginal birth” have with their newborns.
    Really?

You know sometimes long after the child birth we are tired and irritated, sometimes we can’t get up immediately from sitting,
we can’t bend and pick up the child,
    We can’t lift heavy things,
    We can’t walk for long,
    We can’t stand in ques,
As the back hurts bad !!!

    But still we do everything,
We have to because we are born as “Woman, and Become A Mother now.
And still, If you have to hear that it’s simply nothing to have a caesarean section delivery,
It hurts a lot then !!

Hence, please remember that whether it’s a Normal delivery or a Caesarean delivery – A woman, a mother, a wife (and so many roles she plays…) has to go through Pain involved in both the cases and she deserves nothing but only respect and care..

  • Forever my tiny prem, always my gorgeous boy

    Dearest little Chew,

We let you down, I’m sorry. We should’ve argued for you louder, fought harder. This morning you woke up and you were so, so pale. The special nurse who comes when you get poorly came down, and within minutes the hallway was flooded with doctors and nurses and specialists trying to save you.

You have a very aggressive, vicious form of bacterial meningitis that has travelled down your spinal cord and has gone into your blood – which means you’re also battling sepsis.

We’ve had to remove your shunt and put an external drain in, you had that a few years ago and we were in hospital for 3 months. Please don’t try and pull your drain out this time, mummy can’t handle another admission like that.

Believe me when I tell you that your team have been told exactly what they’ve done. They were so, so adamant that it was a condition rather than an infection. It could have, and still might, cost you your life. They know where they stand, and I promise you there will not be a next time.

My heart hurts. Watching you, breathing through a tube. Broken ribs. Strung out on morphine. External drain in place, long lines and catheters. My heart is so heavy I’m practically dragging it behind me. My eyes burn from tears and my voice is croaked for shouting. I am so, so sorry. You didn’t deserve this.

I’m not going to ask you to hold on, because that’s not fair. I just want to tell you how proud I am of you. You have given this your all and I couldn’t have asked for anything else. I’m going to stay, right by your bedside. Holding your hand. Reading you stories. Keeping you cosy.

You have done, and are doing, so well. I’m the proudest parent in the world right now, and the only person who gets credit for that is you. Rest up, my darling little hero. This is on your terms.

I love you, more than you’ll ever have the ability to understand.

Forever my tiny prem, always my gorgeous boy.

    Love, your broken hearted mama

  • This Picture Breaks My Heart

This picture breaks me each and every time I share it. Jemma wasnt a first time mum Sydney-may was her 7th child.
She had bed shared with all of her other babies and they had all been absolutely fine. They were all healthy and no problems.
Sadly Sydney-may died bed sharing at 3 months old cause of death was sudden death no reason no cause found. Her amazing mummy never knew the dangers she followed safety she thought having her baby close was safe as I said she had bed shared with all her other babies and not once had an issue why never once crossed her mind something would or could happen .

Here you see a mother clutching her deceased baby girl who is cold and sadly she is starting to change . Her mummy saw her each day till her funeral. Can you see that raw emotion the pain the heartbreak? This is what you all risk EVERY single time you bed share . Guidelines that people go on about dont make it safe that just make it safer. They don’t mean it’s ok to do they were created for those who refuse to be educated.

Each time you place baby in bed instantly you increase their risk by 5 time until 3 months then 3 times. Those risks are also when you are actually following the guidelines and doing bed sharing as safe as possible . Did you know babies have no cartilage in their nose ? Meaning if the are by mum dad an nose pressed on their arm shoulder they will die their airway will he cut off babie are nose breathers. They rarely mouth breathing meaning when nose is restricted their oxygen soon plummets and they suffocate .

Please please take a long look at this picture remember it every single time you think of placing baby in your bed for just an hr more sleep or to get any sleep . Babies are hard work NOBODY denies this but please dont risk their life for sleep. Or because you think bed sharing is better easier you are attachment parenting no matter the reason remember this picture remember her pain .

She is an amazing mummy who’s raised absolutely thousand tens of thousands for different causes in her babies name her legacy , monitors headstones presents for less fortunate thousands for a baby fighting cancer thousands on difibulator and so much more has and amazing raffle page win £1k sometimes and best also is if you dont like the prize on offer then you can choose to take money equivalent all profit 100% goes to the trust .

Sydney-May saving lives through her legacy and helping give other babies the headstones they rightly deserve proud to know her mummy proud of all she does ❤❤❤❤

  • A Surprise Twin Waterbirth

    ❤️ A SURPRISE TWIN WATERBIRTH ❤️

    A completely missed twin pregnancy.

Ultrasound did not pick up the other fetus, they only ever heard just one heartbeat and she measured right on track for carrying only 1 baby.

She birthed her first baby in the water and shortly after felt another strong contraction and another ring of fire.

As to which she yelled out “What the fuck?!”

The midwife said “Oh, it’s probably the placenta coming.”

Another midwife said “It’s a water bag, I’ve never seen that before.”

The whole room was in utter shock to see another baby come earthside and born encaul.

The likelihood of another baby hidding in the womb is extremely minuscule, but it happened.

Born at 38 weeks and 4 days, both babies weighed 6lbs 11oz, and both measured 20 inches.

  • Baby Grave Being Vandalised Can You Help?

    Hello everyone!

As some of you may know, I am moving my Son Angel from one cemetery to another. I lost Angel from my waters breaking quite early on. This is  Because every time we go up to visit him, he keeps getting destroyed and vandalised! This happens every two weeks! The people that are vandalising Angel, clearly do not have a heart,   We feel like we have no choice to move him as they vandals will carry on doing this! We are moving him to Tavistock cemetery, which is where I grew up and he won’t be alone as he will be with my Grandad and cousin!

Losing a child is traumatising as it is, let alone having their graves vandalised all the time! If we never move him, he will never be able to rest peacefully.

Could you imagine visiting your child and having the trauma of cleaning up the wreckage they leave behind?

In the photo, as you can see the little Angel statue has had the head and wing broken off, the statue came with the plaque so we were heartbroken when we saw it. This isn’t all the vandals have done. They have broken flower pots, broken off the Concrete heart block and broken little ornaments we use to put down on the grave, which we no longer do because of the vandalism.

So if you can, please donate to help move him! Every little penny will help!
thank you so much from Lauren Grylls, Jaydan Walsh and Family!

Please use this link to support the family https://gf.me/u/yf4fsg

  • Why Shouldn’t I Count To 10

    Why shouldn’t I count to 10?

Babies’ movements vary from four to 100 every hour and so counting to 10 is very unhelpful.

For a mum who usually feels her baby move 50 times over 12 hours, if the baby reduced their movements to only 20 it could be a sign the baby is in distress. However if she used the count to ten method, she would not seek help as she met the ‘recommended’ number.

Likewise a woman who usually only feels 8, may end up phoning the hospital unnecessarily every day as she never meets the ten required.

The other issue with fixing a set number of fetal movements is there is no way to know what a woman is classing as her baby’s movements. Because it relies on perceptions from individuals rather than an independent monitoring system, there may be major differences between what one mum counts as her baby moving and what another counts as hers.

Therefore the safest and most reliable method of monitoring baby’s movements is to encourage the mum to get to know her baby’s own pattern of movement. She will then be able to determine if her baby has a period of reduced movement.
