  • Mums Punishment Is Causing Heated Debates

Amanda Mitchell is causing a heated debate on Facebook with her parenting style.

Mitchell said “I don’t usually post this kind of stuff but I’m so disgusted and disappointed in Hannah’s behaviour this week I just have to share.

Long story short, I get a call from her teacher on Friday explaining how Hannah has been acting up all week in class, for substitutes and in other classes. At least two days in a row has been found wandering the halls during lunch when she is required to remain with her class. Was picking on one of her best friends and really hurt the little one’s feelings. Lying to other teachers about her own (AMAZING) teacher. And generally just acting like an asshole.

Yes, I just said asshole why? Because she’s acting like one. I know she’s not an asshole but if the shoe fits, right?

The result: an empty room. She has nothing. Welcome to Mommy’s Juvenile Detention little girl. She will wear the same outfit (complete with her anti-bullying shirt) all week. I will wash it at night once she goes to bed but I won’t tell her that. Harsh? Not in my opinion. If she grows up to break the law then the result is jail and that’s not what I want for my children. I think the problem with this generation is inadequate punishment. Punishment is bad we should only use positive reinforcement and ignore all bad behaviour – NOT in this house.

So this child will earn her things back one at a time. Every day this week she will write lines …

    50 times each:

    I will not lie

I will be kind to everyone

    I will behave at school

I am my own person and I make my own choices (she’s been trying to blame her bad behaviour on a friend)

I am responsible for my own actions

And then this child will learn the hard way that we do not act like assholes 🙂”.

Do you agree with her discipline idea? Is this punishment too harsh or a perfect life lesson? Let us know in the comments

  • Bulls, Sex, Mr and Mrs, Hilarious Story

My wife and I went to the auction mart in America the other week and one of the first exhibits we stopped at was the breeding bulls. We went up to the first pen and there was a sign attached that said,

‘THIS BULL MATED 50 TIMES LAST YEAR’

My wife playfully nudged me in the ribs ……smiled and said, ‘He mated 50 times last year, that’s almost once a week.’

We walked to the second pen which had a sign attached that said,

”THIS BULL MATED 150 TIMES LAST YEAR’

My wife gave me a healthy jab and said, ‘WOW~~That’s more than twice a week ! ………..You could learn a lot from him.’

We walked to the third pen and it had a sign attached that said, in capital letters,

‘THIS BULL MATED 365 TIMES LAST YEAR

‘My wife was so excited that her elbow nearly broke my ribs, and said,

‘That’s once a day ..You could REALLY learn something from this one.’

I looked at her and said,

‘Go over and ask him if every time was with the same old cow.’

My condition has been upgraded from critical to stable and I should eventually make a full recovery.

  • My Vape Exploded In My Face And Damaged My Room

I Vape (I know, terrible and uncool) but I no longer do and I hope to possible sway those that do to maybe reevaluate or find other methods of smoking or giving up.

I had been Vaping for around a year and assure you I did not do anything I wasn’t supposed to (battery was in right, always had the shop put it together when I first bought it and add things and maintenance it the right way while taking their advice) but it exploded in my face.

I lost at least 7 teeth, 2nd degree burns to face and neck and had to pull large and small chunks of plastic, teeth and foreign objects from mouth, throat and lips. I was lucky and they’re was a huge amount of damage to the room in my house I was in as well.

I never had any issues with over heating or concerns until the unfortunate happened. I know vapes help people quit smoking cigarettes and that’s amazing. I just want to bring to light this is possible that they can explode without warning. I would have said “no way that’s possible” until now.

This is not fake, this really happened, I have recovered now and had false teeth put in to replace the ones I lost and barring a few small scars on my face I have healed well, I have not touched a Vape since this happened and I truly hope this never happens to anyone else. Credit Andrew Hall

  • I Did Not Consent To Genital Mutilation

Austin Caudill has an important message for parents “I didn’t have a choice. A needless modification was made to my own body, and I was given no say in the matter.

As a child and adolescent, since my own penis had skin covering the glans, I thought that I was either partially circumcised or not circumcised at all. It took me just one look at adult content to begin researching, and through that research I quickly realized how wrong I was.

I did not consent to genital mutilation

I discovered that the skin covering my glans is not the result of an incomplete circumcision or the removal of too little skin, but rather because the practitioner had cut away too much skin. A tight penile shaft skin, combined with the body’s tendency to protect its parts, causes the penis to be pulled in and become covered by the scrotal skin. This condition is known as “buried penis.” Scrotal skin covers my glans most of the time, as if it was intentionally pulled up and held there.

I found out that the different skin tones on the shaft of my penis, one skin tone near the base and a distinctly different shade closer to the glans, is a direct result of the cutting. The dark line between them is a scar I share with many other mutilated men.

As my research progressed, I began to realize the brutality of the circumcision procedure; that my penis was probed, clamped, crushed, and ripped apart – just like every other circumcised boy was forced to endure. In my case, however, during this mutilation, one of the instruments was pushed into my urethral opening and punctured through the underside of my glans penis. This created a huge hole below the glans. This unnatural urethral opening is a medically induced hypospadias that should have never happened to me. It also completely destroyed the frenulum, another repercussion in a long list of risks and possible complications of circumcision.

Having a buried penis with hypospadias means that my urethral opening is itself buried; the mechanics of which means that I am forced to pee sitting down, always, or otherwise I end up urinating all over myself.

My penis has been irreparably mutilated through a forced childhood genital cutting that many people euphemistically call “circumcision.” – This is my experience, the reality that I must live with every day.

But I am a human rights activist and an intactivist for more reasons than just my own experiences. I work to bring awareness and save other children from circumcision because I have thoroughly researched the topic. I have seen presentations such as The Elephant in the Hospital , and I’ve commiserated with other victims, including The Bloodstained Men and their Friends (Facebook page ). I realize that this problem is bigger than just myself. I understand, first-hand, the trauma and fallout surrounding circumcision that most people refuse to acknowledge. When someone tells me they don’t care, or that I am a bully or a hypocrite for standing up for an innocent baby, it burns me to the core.

  • Why Don’t Asda Like Formula Fed Babies

I personally feel Asda are shaming formula fed parents.

I had my twins in March , Ava and Adam were born at at 34 weeks and spent three weeks in the Neonatal intensive care unit  (NICU) neither of them were strong enough to latch on to my breast to feed, or were able to suck on a bottle so they were fed through an Iv line with donated breast milk, i tried so hard to express but it just wasn’t happening.

I ultimately decided when my babies were strong enough I would put them on to formula, well my little ones thrived, gained weight and began to take bottles of formula and before we knew it we were taking our babies home.

The twins went from strength to strength and were drinking lots and lots and lots of formula, soon we were getting through 6 tins of formula a week.

One saturday my husband and I took a trip to our local Asda’s and decided to do a big food shop with our beautiful twins being pushed in their double buggy.

We placed 6 tins of formula into our trolley and got the rest of our food shop, we loaded our shopping on to the conveyor belt, once it got to the formula the shop assistant said “i am really sorry but we can only sell two tins per family”. I tried to explain that I had twins, pointing to the buggy and my babies, she replied with “sorry it’s our store policy”.

I demanded to see the manager and he was the most unhelpful man ever, simply telling me it’s 2 per family and that i could buy two today and come back tomorrow for another two, when I asked why, he said it’s to make people breast-fed and think before feeding their babies formula.

A long come perfect mum of the year pushing her own baby in a trolley, she had heard everything that had gone on and she just had to stick her nose in ” if you breast feed you won’t have this problem now would you”. The manager chuckled, he actually chuckled at this womans comments.

Why can’t I feed my baby, why can’t I buy my babies food, if I were breast-feeding and was asked to stop there would be a media frenzy.

I have two babies so clearly need more formula, why is it even limited? surely if there is a need for it they should stock more.

What sort of stupid policy is this!!!!

  • Why Is This Creamy Substance So Important

I would like to tell you about Vernix caseosa also known a vernix  , a waxy substance that coats the skin of newborn babies.

Vernix begins to form on the unborn baby at about 27 weeks gestation. it helps protect baby’s skin from amniotic fluid, the creamy vernix itself contains about 80% water. About 61% of proteins can be found in this white substance, & can only be found in vernix.

It protects the baby from bad bacteria and future flu and common colds when there older. It also helps manage the baby body temperature when first being born. This is the ORIGINAL VACCINE for your baby. It’s best to rub it in your babies skin and wait on giving your baby a bath. You can let it stay up to 24hrs or a week .

Doctors usually are in a rush to wash this off . Because the Baby wouldn’t need medical vaccines if it were to stay on. They took it out of the medical practice because vaccinations wouldn’t stand a chance against this. The vaccination market would crash and make no money .

    1. It’s protection. When a baby’s skin in still developing in the womb, it’s covered with a thick, white, cheese-like layer called vernix caseosa. Its main jobs? To help protect delicate skin from the acidic quality of the amniotic fluid and to help keep infection at bay.

    2. It’s a moisturizer! Vernix is also your baby’s first beauty product. The thick substance acts as a sealant, shielding the baby’s skin from the drying effects of amniotic fluid. Without vernix, your precious newborn would look like a big ol’ wrinkled prune.

    3. It’s also a lube. That slippery slime does double duty as a lubricant, helping your baby slide out of the birth canal a bit easier.

    4. It’s a baby’s first blanket. The cheesy coating is also as a baby warmer, insulating her body and maintaining a proper—and comfortable—temperature in utero.

    5. It’s only human. People are the only animals whose newborns are coated in vernix.

    6. It muffles sound. Although your baby-to-be can start to hear your voice by about week 25, sound is pretty muffled because his ears are covered with sound-shielding vernix.

    7. Sometimes it’s not there. If your baby is overdue, the vernix may be scant or missing entirely. The reason: It was likely already absorbed in the amniotic fluid.

    8. You can leave it be. Don’t be so quick to wipe the goopy gunk off your newborn’s skin. Research shows that removing vernix is not necessary for hygienic reasons, and leaving it may even provide antibacterial promotion and wound healing. The World Health Organization advises delaying baby’s first bath for 24 hours.

    9. It’s not always white. If a newborn’s vernix is not the expected creamy white, but a yellowish brown or green tinge instead, that’s a good indicator that baby already passed meconium (aka the first poop). And it’s a good indicator that, yeah, perhaps you should wipe this type of vernix off.

    10. It lingers in folds. Don’t be surprised if you find this sticky substance hidden in baby’s under-diaper nooks and crannies. Vernix likes to hide in the folds of the vagina for several days or even weeks. Gently wipe it away or simply leave it.

  • Star Projector Nearly Burnt My Daughters Bed

I would like to raise awareness of a seemingly innocent looking toy.

My daughter Evelyn is seven-year old and is scared of the dark, I have tried multiple different night lights but all cast strange shadows on my daughter’s room.

I took Evelyn to our local B and M store in Colchester so she could pick the perfect night-light.

Evelyn choose a ladybird star projector, she has always loved soft toys, and with this light not only is the face and under body soft, it is super cute and gives my little girl comfort with the stars on the ceiling and walls.

The lady bird was working wonders and became one of my little girls firm favourite toys.

Last week I put Evelyn to bed at 8pm as usual, putting on her star projector and I then returned down stairs to continue helping my eldest son with his exam revision, a little over 10 minutes later I heard a gut wrenching scream coming from my little girl, both me and my son rushed up the stairs to see the lady bird on FIRE.

My quick thinking son ran to the bathroom and grabbed the dirty mop bucket and threw the filthy water all over the ladybird, whilst my daughter was still screaming but now being held in my arms.

My son had managed to extinguish the flames coming from the toy, after we had all calmed down and my daughter was safely asleep in my bed, I examined the toy, it appears the battery pack had caught on fire!

The next day when my daughter was at school I phoned the company who makes them, not only to complain but to bring this serious issue to their attention, I was told that I must have used cheap faulty batteries, well No! they were Duracell batteries, I have looked on the internet and I am not the only one to have ha a fire due to this toy, please throw yours away IT IS DANGEROUS

  • My Son Died But He Didn’t Have to

Any of you on here who pray please keep me in your prayers tomorrow if you can.

Our son was stillborn on 14th June 2017 at 37+6 weeks. Absolutely perfect in every way and not just a mothers love for her child, the autopsy states that every organ, limb, blood vessel etc was formed and functioning perfectly.

At 33+3 weeks I had reduced movements and went to hospital. They performed a scan and discovered a problem with my placenta. I was admitted, put on steroids and told that I’d be staying put. (I also had a history of earlier births with my twins who stopped growing at 33 weeks and were delivered at 33+5 weeks). At this time my son weighed approx 5.5 pounds.

I was nervous but happy with his weight as my girls were much smaller so I thought he’d be fine if delivered soon.

Then 2 days later I was sent home all ok and told to just come back for another scan. 2 days later I was readmitted with more reduced movements. I’d had a total of 3 reduced movements in the space of a week. I was given a Doppler scan which showed everything ok and sent home. The doctor laughed at my concerns and dismissed me.

2 weeks later at a standard appointment I tried to ask how big my son was and was abruptly cut off and told no they wouldn’t tell me. In hindsight had this egotistical arsehole looked he’d have seen that between 34 weeks and 37 weeks my son had gained approx 0.661 pounds when in fact he should have gained at least 2 pounds.

2 days later my son died and I was in labour.

    My world ended.

We were initially told my son tested positive for the most rarest of genetic conditions, but with errors in hospital and sample degrading we couldn’t get a second opinion. This condition can cause stillbirth however the autopsy states that the fact my son had zero physical characteristics it’s not possible to say it caused his death.

The geneticist stated that “your son would have been so intellectually disabled that he wouldn’t have had the capacity to breathe you’re better off he died when he did – the divorce rate among parents of intellectually disabled children is so high”

I just wanted to shout bullshit at her.

My entire argument has been from day 1 I had a scan at week 34 and no further growth/development scans. The only way to check a placenta is working is to do a growth scan. If I was given a growth scan at either 36 or 37 weeks they would have seen he stopped growing and could have delivered him early.

I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that this genetic condition did not affect him in any way, if he even had it.

The point of me sharing this is do not always listen to doctors demand to be seen, force them to check you, do not let them tell you that you know nothing, a mother often knows when something isn’t right, I wish I had made them listen to me.

  • Attention Plane Travelers Very Disturbing Information

ATTENTION PLANE TRAVELERS! Very disturbing information has come to my attention from an ex flight attendant!!! Below is word for word what the flight attendant told me!

“We are trained to tell people to put their heads down while holding their neck during a crash. During an insurance settlement hearing my supervisor admitted to me off record the horrible and sinister truth about why we are taught this procedure!

PLACING HEAD DOWN AND HANDS OVER HEAD WILL FORCE THEIR HEADS INTO THE BACK OF THE SEAT IN FRONT…BREAKING THE PASSENGERS NECKS KILLING THEM INSTANTLY! This way the insurance pay outs will not be as high due to those paralyzed or permanently injured and the airline can pay out a fast lump sum death settlement.”

You heard it correctly!! The airline would rather you DIE during a crash than live to tell the story and collect $$$ forever!! HOW SAD IS IT WHEN PROFITS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THEN SAVING LIVES!!!?? The correct way to avoid death during a crash is brace yourself sitting straight upward! I had to share this because it may just save your life or someone you love!

  • Daughter’s Vibtator-Funny Story

    Daughter’s Vibrator

A mother was walking down the hall when she heard a humming sound coming from her daughter’s bedroom.

When she opened the door she found her daughter naked on the bed with a vibrator.

What are you doing?” she exclaimed.

The daughter replied, “I’m 35 and still living at home with my parents and this is the closest I’ll ever get to a husband.”

Later that week the father was in the kitchen and heard a humming sound coming from the basement.

When he went downstairs, he found his daughter naked on the sofa with her vibrator.

“What are you doing?” he exclaimed.

The daughter replied, “I’m 35 and still living at home with my parents and this is the closest I’ll ever get to a husband.”

A couple of days later the mother heard the humming sound again, this time in the living room.

In there, she found her husband watching the Super Bowl on television with the vibrator buzzing away beside him.

“What are you doing?” she exclaimed.

He replied…………”Watching the game with my son-in-law.”
