Our social media feeds are constantly filled with depictions of the so-called ‘perfect’ parent and it’s always a refreshing moment when someone breaks down that unrealistic perception of parenthood – and Vogue Williams has done just that.

Earning praise from her fellow parents for her honest take on the subject, Vogue shared a not-so-glamorous insight into a day where she felt like a ‘rubbish’ parent.

Alongside an adorable snap of her little ones and their dog Winston, the mum to Theodore, five, Gigi, three and baby Otto who share shares with Spencer Matthews, began: ‘My favourite job is being a mom but my GOD it’s hard.’

Explaining that she was on her own with her kids for the day, Vogue recalled: ‘I imagined sitting doing the Easter bonnets having a chilled morning but that did not happen’.

Delving into the unfortunate way she began her day which brought her to ‘tears’, the mum-of-three wrote: ‘woke up to an entire kitchen full of [poo] because Winston isn’t well which took 40 minutes to clean’.

With the chaos not stopping there, the family were then late to their gymnastics class. Vogue added: ‘Otto decided we were in a game of slaps where he was the only player and my face was the target!’

In an all-too relatable sentiment, the podcaster confessed: ‘I had a day where I thought I was a rubbish parent because I struggled with all three, they weren’t into listening to me at all.’

Vogue continued: ‘I have to say an afternoon Solpadeine helped with the headache and they are all in bed now and I don’t even think I’ve the energy to take my makeup off!’

Finishing out her post on a candid note, she penned: ‘Posting this because I always get asked how I manage and the truth is sometimes I don’t do that very well. Kids 1 me 0’.

Parents were quick to thank Vogue for sharing her honest recap of the day, with one person writing: ‘Thank you so so much for sharing – its always feels like a hug when fellow mothers share stories like this as I think this is how we all feel some days and it’s so nice to know we aren’t alone! So thank you for keeping it so real!’

Another commented: ‘Those days are the toughest. We all have them. Hope you & Winston feel better soon!’

Not only this, but some internet users were also unimpressed with the action sequences. Expressing their disappointment, one wrote, “The action looks terribly choreographed, and the story doesn’t seem appealing… I’m skipping it. Seems like Rashmika’s record will be broken.” Another commented, “The action scenes are awful.”

During the trailer launch event, Salman also addressed the 31-year age gap between him and Rashmika, saying, “Phir woh bolte hain 31 years ka difference hai heroine aur mujh mein. Arrey, jab heroine ko problem nahi hai, heroine ke papa ko dikkat nahi hai, tumko kyun dikkat hai bhai? Inki shaadi hogi, bachchi hongi, toh unke sath bhi kaam karenge. Mummy ki permission toh mil hi jayegi” (Then they say there’s a 31-year age gap between me and the heroine. In 1997, when Tiger was just 16 months old, her father Michael killed himself in a Sydney hotel room at the age of 37.

Her mother Paula overdosed on heroin at her home in Notting Hill, London, less than three years later. She was 41.

Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa hasn’t had the impact many thought he would when he joined from Juventus, and speculation is rife that he could be on the move this summer – now his father now provided a significant update on his future amid links to a new Serie A suitor.

The Italian international, who was considered one of the world’s best players only a few years ago, has struggled with injuries since his arrival at Anfield, limiting his playing time.

And even when fit, Chiesa has found it difficult to get minutes under Arne Slot, with Liverpool’s main man Mo Salah ahead of him in the pecking order and filling his position.

However, in an interview with Tuttosport, Chiesa’s father, Enrico, who was an Italian international himself, has insisted that the winger is focused on nothing but Liverpool at the moment.

“I can guarantee that Federico’s very happy at Liverpool,” Enrico said. “We hope he can win the Premier League, we have no regrets about Juventus. He’s so happy at Liverpool.”

“He is there to play his cards, he has a great chance. This summer I told him what I have been telling him since he was little. Because, in reality, until he was 15 he didn’t play often and when he asked me ‘What should I do?’ I told him to keep training, not to give up, to be ready when his time came.”

Arne Slot ‘unconvinced’ by Federico Chiesa – report

Chiesa has played just 25 minutes of Premier League football this season and is yet to start a single match, due to a combination injuries and competition for a place in the starting XI.

The Italian did make an impressive 16-minute cameo in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle, in which he scored a late goal, but he was unable to change the result as the Reds lost 2-1.

As mentioned, there has been plenty of speculation about Chiesa recently. A report from Calciomercato claimed earlier this week that Liverpool have made the early decision to cut Chiesa adrift in the summer. It’s claimed that Chiesa has ‘never convinced’ head coach Slot and he has green lit his departure.

The report states that Liverpool could open up to the idea of sending Chiesa out on loan. Napoli manager Antonio Conte is said to ‘appreciate’ him, suggesting the Serie A side could make a move.

Napoli sold winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain in January – so Chiesa could potentially be brought in to replace him.

But despite the rumours, Chiesa does seem to be focused on reigniting his career with Liverpool, according to his father at least. If Mo Salah leaves this summer, he could be given more opportunities to play next term.

Leo was diagnosed with epilepsy aged three and his condition worsened, leading to a series of hospital admissions.

Ms O’Brien, who has worked in technology for more than 25 years, told BBC Radio Kent about one experience of being asked to fill in a manual seizure diary.

“The medical team were having to make quite speedy decisions. But they could only work with the data that they had,” she said.

“I used to say to them, ‘there’s technology out there’.”

Ms O’Brien is now aiming to fund and develop tools to enhance data-driven decision making for clinicians to reduce delays.

“What is clear to me now is the signs of SUDEP were all there, but we missed them,” she added.

“Even his medical team seemed surprised when Leo died, but when you look at the data and what Leo was struggling with, it was obvious that was a higher risk.”

She added: “If they had technology enabling them to get to those treatment decisions a lot quicker, then the care would be much more proactive, and I honestly believe situations like Leo could be avoided.”

One in 10 parents living in poverty told how their child had been bullied as a result, according to a survey said to show the “devastating impact” financial struggles can have on families.

Polling of 2,000 UK parents of school-aged children living on the lowest incomes found they spend on average £2,000 a year on school costs, with almost a quarter of adults reporting getting into debt to cover outgoings such as transport and school trips.

The Censuswide survey carried out for the charity Parentkind at the end of last year found one in 10 parents in poverty said their children had been bullied for being poor, while around one in eight parents were getting food parcels from their child’s school.

A household is considered to be in relative poverty if it is below 60% of the median income after housing costs.

There were an estimated 4.33 million children in households in relative low income after housing costs in the year to March 2023.

The latest official statistics on the number and percentage of people living in low income households in the UK are due to be published on Thursday.

Parentkind described the results of its polling as “shocking” in showing the costs of schooling for families.

They have sent their report to Education Secretary Bridget Phillipson and Work and Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall ahead of the publication of the Government’s child poverty strategy, warning that a target must be set to reduce school costs for the poorest parents.

The charity’s chief executive, Jason Elsom said: “Parents living in poverty are spending huge amounts of what little money they have on sending their children to school. That can’t be right.

“We need the government to urgently start talking about parents in poverty alongside child poverty plans to make sure we support these parents.

“Pushing down on school costs by committing to an ambitious target of halving school costs in five years is a good first step.

“If school was free for these parents, it would be the equivalent of increasing household budgets, for the poorest families, by a fifth or more.

“This should be an attractive option for ministers struggling with making cuts to the welfare budget.”

The Government has previously described the level of child poverty in the UK as “unacceptable”, with the strategy to tackle the issue expected to be published this spring.

There have been repeated calls from charities for the Government to scrap the two-child benefit limit which campaigners say is keeping children in poverty.

General secretary of the National Education Union (NEU), Daniel Kebede said: “With nine children in every class of 30 growing up in poverty, teachers and school leaders see the very real impact this has on our children and young people.

“This report highlights how many families across Britain are struggling with everyday costs – and the devastating impact this is having on the mental wellbeing of both children and their parents.

“The Child Poverty Strategy is a huge opportunity for government to act decisively to lift thousands of families out of poverty, and to ensure that every child has the best chance in school. This is not an opportunity they can afford to miss.”

A Department for Education spokesperson said: “We are determined to tackle the scourge of child poverty and break the unfair link between background and opportunity – and have already taken wide-ranging action despite this Government’s incredibly challenging fiscal inheritance.

“The first 750 schools will begin offering free breakfast clubs from April, backed by over £30 million, and we are capping the number of branded school uniform items to keep the costs down for parents.

“More widely, we have increased pupil premium funding to over £2.9 billion for the FY 24-25 and the child poverty taskforce is working to deliver an ambitious strategy to tackle challenges felt by those living in poverty.”
