  • Why Should I Have To Get A Job?

Why should I have to get a job?

I was a happily married stay at home mum raising my three precious children Oliver 8, Joshua 6 and Poppy 3.

I loved being able to take my eldest two to school and spending time with my little girl, then every day being in the playground to collect my boys.

I never missed an assembly or sports day, my children could have friends over and I would always have a healthy home cooked meal on the table for when my husband came home.

I always wanted to be a mum and a housewife, I was very happy.

However my husband can’t have been happy as he ended up cheating on me and left me for his mistress.

I was stuck, I had always been financially supported by my husband but now I had to claim benefits.

But why should I get a job, I didn’t ask for my husband to cheat, I didn’t get pregnant to claim benefits, I have done no wrong!

The job centre says as my youngest child is 3 I have to look for work, but why?

How is this fair on my children to have to go without their mum being there for them when ever they need me, to have to miss sports day or get a paid stranger to collect my children from school.

I do not want a job, I already have one it’s called being a mum.

How can they expect me to leave my three children with a childminder just because my husband couldn’t keep his promise to love me forever.

I didn’t do anything wrong yet I am the one who is being made to feel guilty for not wanting a job, but if I do not prove I’m looking for work they will stop our benefits.

I understand many may not agree with me but I do not care, I set out to be a mum all the time not to miss out on watching them grow.

  • Ladies You’re Doing Way More Damage Than You Understand

One mans rant about free bleeding mum with her children hugging her blood stained legs have gone viral.

    Dominick Izzo said:

Look, ladies, you’re doing way more damage than you understand.

Saw a picture of a woman doing an incredible yoga pose in her Instagram account.

She was on her left leg and held her right leg way in the air, almost parallel with her head and straightened spine.

She had her daughter and son (who looked that he was about 5) gripping on to her posted leg, with both of their faces in her crotch… and she was wearing a very small pair of white shorts that clearly showed she was menstruating.

Her caption read, “if this monthly flood of ours makes you uncomfortable, maybe I should remind you where the fuck you come from.”

You think it’s cute. You think your monthly, natural event is beautiful and a celebration… not to a boy it’s not. Because we don’t experience it.

You think this “fluidity thing” is a game for you to play with your children and that sexuality, gender and identity is simply a fun way for you to live vicariously through your children because your mind is fucked up and you’re not going to oppress your child how your parents oppressed you.

Let me tell you something about boys; want to know why they are so much easier to raise than girls?

Because boys are biology designed to do one thing very well… get females pregnant. While little Suzie has a brain that is dynamic and ever-changing, us males are locked on toys, playing war or with toy guns, lego’s and sex.

By around 13 boys are capable of creating life.

And our drive to procreate is also a designed biological miracle. We’re pretty much one tracked minded from pre puberty on.

It’s makes us simple but that’s also a problem because it’s all we think about. And it’s distracting enough in life.

You come along at show Little Johnny how wonderful mommy’s vagina is and confuse him even more with the fact that she’s bleeding and you’re screwing up your child in ways that you should be ordered to therapy for.

When I was 9, friends of mine and I found our first “dirty magazines” while we were playing in an alley. We had NO CLUE what we were seeing.

At 9 years old, a boy shouldn’t be subjected to seeing the images we saw. We weren’t ready to understand what we these grown adults were doing.

But I remember we talking about it for months and passed the magazine around every chance we had.

That was decades ago. All some 9-year-old has to do today is google porn images and Mum and Dad have a lot of talking to do.

Believe it or not, it is a form of PTSD.

Men and women aren’t designed to see body parts blown open on the battle field and little boys aren’t ready to see or focus on sexuality issues that most adults are too embarrassed to admit they don’t even understand yet too.

    Stop your bullshit.

Stop pumping your 8-year-old boys with female hormones because YOU have issues.

Stop showing your boys that it’s ok to dress up in girls clothes, because it’s not.

Stop telling you child that they can be anything they want, because that is a lie that will completely destroy them in the long run.

Kids aren’t meant to be your blank canvas where you get to paint anything you want, let the paint dry and then paint something else over it.

Be a parent. Not someone who wants to pump out a creation that is born perfect AS IS, but you think you know better than God does and want to make up for your messed up past.

A boy is a boy. And can NEVER be a girl.

  • Woman’s rant about slimming world goes viral

Woman’s rant about slimming world goes viral

Samantha Sage of Ipswich took to Facebook to rant about slimming world and stirred up mixed reviews and death threats

Sage said “Listen up fat ladies of the world if you really want to lose those huge fat thighs and guts stop driving to slimming world, you are trying to lose weight yet get into your vehicle and drive to your nearest slimming world, walk you lazy fatties, every meeting The car park is FULL. Use your brains rather than your stomach, eat less exercise more and leave the fat mobile at home. Free advice ladies feel free to share and let’s stop Britain from being fat and ugly, you are giving us ladies a bad name”.

Sage received thousands upon thousands of negative replies to her post, such as…

Emily Hart who said: “wow I’ve never heard something so rude some of these women may be disabled or rushing off to work straight after, you’re the ugly one with that awful attitude”

    and

Thomas Colburn “so I take it you are a size 6 then? you could be the sexiest woman on earth and i wouldn’t touch you with a barge pole, i hope you break your leg and can’t walk and get so fat you need to be driven to slimming world”.

Even more shocking is lots of people agreed with Sage stating that slimming world was a waste of money anyway and agreed the only correct way to lose weight is to cook healthy meals and exercise daily.

One woman replied with “fat people make me sick, no excuse to be over weight it is pure laziness, amen sister”.

Sage has since deactivated her Facebook account due to backlash and threats to herself and her family but not before her post had over 10000 comments and 600 shares

  • The 2 Year Funding Shouldn’t Be For The Unemployed

I’m gonna rant and I will probably offend people but I honestly don’t give two hoots.

So a 2-year-old can now get free early education and childcare if they live in England and get one of the qualifying benefits like income support, and tax credits and they have an annual income of under £16,190 before tax.

So let’s get this straight if you don’t work and sit at home all day watching Jeremy Kyle, and scrolling through Facebook you can get free childcare, awesome you clearly deserve a break from your exhausting life 😡wouldn’t be so bad if they used this time to actively seek out work.

My husband works damn hard to provide for me and our 2-year-old son, we just about make ends meet but every month is a struggle, we have to budget just to put food on the table and clothes on our backs, luxuries are a distant memory, no fancy holidays or nice new cars for us, we class putting the heating on as a huge luxury.

I would love to return to work but we would not be able to get any form of financial help to pay for the extremely high child care costs, I would have to be earning £17 an hour just to make it financially viable.

So yet again those who choose not to work and don’t wish to better themselves (not all I know many have genuine reasons) get extra support and help to have an easier life.

It sickens me that if I were to leave my hard-working loving husband I would be financially better off, I could live off benefits or return to work and my son would get free childcare, my child would then be able to go on nice holidays and have named brand clothing, he wouldn’t have hand me down toys and only be able to go on free or cheap trips out.

When will the government realise that it’s the people working that are struggling, they are the ones who should get extra help, 2 year funding for all or for no one, this country is unfair and it’s breaking people, those who are unemployed by choice don’t deserve anything, let the people who want to better themselves have help or a slight leg up, don’t penalize us for earning and working our butts off.

  • If Your Child Constantly Has Nits It Is Neglect

If your child constantly has nits it is neglect.

If your child constantly has nits it is neglect at least this is what one mother is saying.

Jessica Stone 27 from West Yorkshire has taken to social media to plea with other parents to treat their children’s hair or be classed as a neglectful parent.

Stone said “Millie has been at school since September and caught nits 17 times yep you heard that right 17 bloody times, I use tea tree shampoo and conditioner, squirt vosene kids nit defence spray in her hair and tie it back and plait it, I check her  hair every night and treat it whenever necessary and sometimes even when im not quite sure if she has any.

However there is a little girl in her class whose hair is crawling with nits the school just sends out letters to everyone and this child is freely allowed to infest the rest of her class, the parents must know and choose to ignore it.

This little girl is only 5 so it’s down to her parents to treat her, they are deliberately neglecting her, in my eyes it’s a form of abuse, if they can’t care for her and treat her nits they shouldn’t have her”.

Many people commented agreeing with her and said there is no excuse not to treat a nit infested head whilst others said that combating nits is a losing battle and maybe the mum is doing her best or struggling to deal with it or maybe just doesn’t know how to rid her child of nits.

Stone added a comment  “if the parents can’t afford to treat her hair regularly then they should just shave it all off, or maybe stop smoking and buy the girl nit stuff instead”.

What’s your view is having regular nits a form of neglect?

  • The 10 Commandments of the Single Mum

The 10 Commandments of the Single Mum

Being a Single Mum isn’t just about chain-smoking cheap fags while you lean on a broken-down picket fence as the madly overgrown grass tickles your knickers, bitching to your neighbour about the 15 fathers of your 20 different kids and moaning about the pathetic benefits you had to lie and cheat to get.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that – God knows we’ve all had our moments – but there’s more to being a Single Mum than that one-dimensional, woefully outdated stereotype suggests.

These days, loads of Single Mums are happy to be winging it on their own: doing their best for the kids while revelling in their freedom, independence and hard-won custody of the remote control.

Single Mums don’t have to argue about parenting stuff with their clueless other halves, they don’t have to be constantly disappointed by his no-shows at kids’ concerts, they don’t have to take him into consideration when ordering a Chinese takeaway – and they don’t have to feel bad about loving (nearly) every minute of it.

I often get the warm glow of ever-so-slightly smug contentment when I spy a warring couple looking fed up and frustrated, bickering over their baby’s head about who had the least sleep last night and whose turn it is to push the pram and WHY CAN’T YOU JUST BLOODY LEARN TO CHANGE A NAPPY, THEN?

Because, as a good Single Mum friend of mine so eloquently puts it, ‘There are millions of Single Mums out there – and most of them are married.’

When it comes to winging it on one’s own, there appears to be only one Golden Rule: there are no rules.

And considering there isn’t a Single Mum-ifesto, Declaration of Indy-Mum-nence or, indeed, The Single Mumna Carta (ENOUGH! Ed) out there, here are 10 commandments I cobbled together earlier:

    1. Thou shalt not badmouth thine Ex

Or at least not in front of the kids. Yes, even if thine Ex hast been a bit of a dick.

    2. Thou shalt give it thy best shot at being friends with thine Ex – even if thou canst not stand the guy

Bite your tongue and think of the kids. And the maintenance payments.

    3. Thou shalt not let the superior, sneery judginess of others get thee down

They’re probably jealous of thy comparative freedom, after all, stuck in their small lives of quiet desperation as they undoubtedly are.

    4. Thou shalt not give a rat’s arse about thy so-called friends who let thee down when thou needst them most

Thou findst out who thy real friends are when thou becomest an SM and thou’ll be surprised by the ones who fall by the wayside when the shit really hits ye fan.

    5. Thou shalt not eat thy feelings – particularly if thy feelings are made out of Lindor Balls

Or at least not every night. And anyway, family blocks of Cadbury’s Fruit ‘n’ Nut art way cheaper – and even go some way towards thy five a day.

    6. Thou shalt rest assured that this fresh hell of half-term, too, shalt pass

School holidays can be a tough time for ye olde Single Mums – but also prime fun time for McDonald’s, duvet days and Spongebob marathons (which thou canst easily snooze through, no worries).

    7. Thou shalt be proud and revel in thy new-found status as A Single Mum

And thank thy lucky stars thou gotst out of thine own crap relationship, because now thou canst really love and look after those kids properly without some pretender moaning and droning on in ye background about how tired / poor he is.

    8. Thou shalt resist temptation to compare thyself with other mums

Thy kids will do enough of that for thee. And it won’t be pretty. So give thyself a break and remind thyself how utterly marvellous thou art – thy kids are still alive!

    9. Thou shalt almost expect married maters at thy school gates to mistake thee for a threat and eye thee with suspicion

They do this because they can’t imagine anything worse than being a Single Mum – but thou knowst better (and have they seen their husbands lately?! Ha! As if!)

    10. Thou shalt think of ye perks of being a Single Mum when life at ye coalface gets tough (from approx. 6:30 am-8:30 pm daily)

Throughout the tears and tantrums (mostly thine own, usually), thou willst maybe get a sec to think about the movie / cake / bath / bottle of gin thou willst immerse thyself in when thine Ex takes the kids off your hands every second weekend.

    11. Thou shalt get in amongst it on thine own local dating scene when – and, indeed, if – thou art ready and feeling up for ’t

Elite Singles is apparently fantastic for meeting like-minded potential love interests. If, however, ’tis only a quick bunk-up thou art after, try Tinder.

    12. Thou shalt embrace ye sisterhood of single mums

And bin thine own prejudices. For united we stand, divided we fall etc.

    13. Girl, thou shalt put thy records on regularly and play thy favourite songs

Show thy kids how in charge thou art by playing great songs about strong, cool women. I Am Woman by Helen Reddy springs to mind. Great for defusing tension, breakfast kitchen dancing and helping thy kids’ feminist principles and musical tastes develop correctly (ie mirroring thine own).

    14. Thou shalt accept thou did playest thy part in the split

Thou art big enough to take half the responsibility – thou art a grown up, after all. And anyway, thine Ex started it – nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah. Now where wast thou? Yea, verily, acting all grown up…

Oops – went up to 14. Maths never was a strong point. Sorry.

Anyway, armed with this timely guide to what to expect when you’re expecting to become a Single Mum, you and your no-doubt gorgeous kids can live Happily Ever After, unfettered by social stigma or hand brake husbands. Now let thy joy be unconfined!

  • Perfect Parent Listen up!!!!!

Karen Johnson is a busy American mum and writer, so she’s familiar with the stress that comes with being a working mom. Like most mums, she takes shortcuts every now and then. In this case, as she says, her house is a mess. And like most mums, she’s criticized by people online for it.

Recently,Karen decided to take to Fb to call out mum shamers and the perfect parent parade, in an amazing ‘rant’ that has since been shared more than 430,000 times and attracted thousands of comments.

Girlfriends, I got to get something off my chest. My house is never clean. Like ever. I have friends (with kids) whose houses are spotless. Are they better mothers than me? Nope. Am I a better mother than them? Nope.

I work out every day. I have mom friends who don’t exercise. (I mean other than running around like crazy people after their kids). Does that make either of us a better mom? Nope.

I have a friend who gave birth in a pool in her living room. I pushed mine out in a hospital bed after receiving a gift from the epidural fairy. Both of us are good moms.

I drink a beer or glass of wine (sometimes in front of my kids!) on occasion. I’m a good mom. My neighbor and good friend doesn’t drink. Also a good mom.

I’m a yeller. I have a good friend who is quiet and extremely patient. I envy her. But we are both good moms.

I have friends who are super organic, chemical free, and dye free. My kids sometimes eat popsicles for breakfast. The cheap kind that are 50 for $2.00. Are either of us better than the other? Nope.

I swear, but not in front of my kids. Are you a bad mom if you do? Hell no.

I’m involved with my kids’ school but I don’t volunteer and live there every day. Are the moms who volunteer daily any better than those who never do? No. Am I incredibly grateful for the moms who volunteer every day and help the teachers? YES.

Are stay-at-home moms better than working moms? NO.

Are working moms better than stay-at-home moms? NO.

Are married moms better than single moms? NO.

Are you a better mom if you take your kids on exotic vacations? NO.

Can you be a good mom if you the closest thing you get to a vacation is the park? YES.

Can you be a good mom and have a super scheduled summer with lots of planned activities? Yep.

What about if your summer is lazy with no plans? Yep.

Do good moms let their kids watch TV? Yes.

    Play video games? Yes.

What about if you say no? Also fine. Your choice. You’re the mom. And a good one.

I’m a Christian. My friend and neighbor is Muslim. Another friend practices no religion at all. WE ARE ALL GOOD MOTHERS.

My other friend is gay. Her kids have TWO mothers. They are both good moms.

I breastfed. My kids barely had any formula. Am I better than moms who give their kids formula? NO.

So how about this? Can we all climb down off judgmental mountain for a second? And just support one another? And just say, Hey, motherhood is hard. You’re doing a good job. Raising kids can knock the wind out of a person. You got this.

How awesome would that be? Just a though
