  • No one Turned Up To His Birthday Party

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can I ask for your help to make my little mans birthday on July 15th one to remember this year rather than one to forget!!
PLEASE READ, help if you can and SHARE!!

This is Ben, my son, he is 10 and has high functioning autism,.

He has a heart of gold and just wants to be friends with people but his autism makes it extremely difficult for him to achieve this.
High Functioning Autism makes him a little different to the rest of his classmates and because of it he is often kicked and punched and is called nasty names amongst other things, none of which are good.
He is the child that never gets invited to other children’s birthday parties, that sits alone in the playground, that doesn’t have anybody round for tea and nobody to go out to play with.
On a previous birthday I hosted a birthday party for him, inviting around 25 children. He was so excited and really looking forward to it.
Only two parents replied to the invitations I sent out but the party was arranged and paid for and Ben was excited about it so there was no way I could cancel it, I wrongly presumed that a few more would just turn up on the day but at least two were coming which was better than none at all.
Everything was set up and Ben sat there eagerly waiting for everyone to turn up. 2pm came and went and nobody had arrived.
Ben sat there saying repeating over and over they will come in a minute won’t they mum. He still thought they would show up to help celebrate his special day.
By 2.30pm he was getting more and more anxious and visibly upset, he kept asking me where everybody was. I just didn’t know what to say to him. It was obvious at this point that nobody was coming!!
It was the most heartbreaking moment ever not only for me but for him to. This day had a lasting effect on him for a very long time, he was devastated, it knocked his self confidence, heightened his anxiety and is something he will always remember.
This year I want him to have a birthday to remember and hopefully undo the damage of the previous birthdays which has had a lasting effect on him
Can I ask you from the bottom of my heart if you would kindly consider sending him a birthday card for his “11th” birthday to put a big smile on his face and make this birthday one to remember for the rest of his life!!!
If you can help, cards can be sent to:-
    Ben Jackson

    35 Dunn Close

    Southsea

    Portsmouth

    PO4 9TX

    UNITED KINGOM
If are unable to send a card could I ask you to share this post far and wide please.
    Thank you so much
    Lisa x

  • Do Not Accept Him!

Fake Facebook message warns users not to accept Jayden K Smith hacker
A fake Facebook messanger warning is telling users to avoid accepting a friend request from a man named Jayden K Smith because he is a hacker. Longer versions of this hoax claim accepting the user will result in your account getting hacked or cloned.

This is one of the messages

Please tell all the contacts in your Messenger list, not to accept Jayden K. Smith friendship request. He is a hacker and has the system connected to your Facebook account. If one of your contacts accepts it, you will also be hacked, so make sure that all your friends know it.

This appears to be the latest in a string of fake hacker warnings, none  of which is true.

You cannot be “hacked” just for accepting a friend requests, and if such warnings were true, why wouldn’t Facebook remove such offending accounts before such warnings had a chance to go viral?

So come on guys lets stop spreading silly warnings that have no truth!

    Share to stop the worry

  • The Secret To Losing Weight

Most people at some point in their life will struggle with there weight.

I doesn’t matter if it’s baby weight, emotional eating or just a lack of control or self awareness.

Helping people lose weight is big business, with new diets popping up all the time it’s hard to work out what will help and what is just a scam.

Diet pills, shakes, wraps, protein bars…. all these things could help you lose weight, but once you’ve lost the weight and no longer need to take these extra supplements, more often than not all the weight comes flying back on!

So what can we do for the best?

Here are a few helpful tips from someone that has strugged with her weight most of her life!

A little back story on me.  I am very nearly 30 years old and have been over weight most of my adult life as well as my teenage years.  I have lost in total 80 lbs doing various different types of diets.  I have obsessed over every little detail and am one of those boring people you see in supermarkets reading the back of packages to see all the nutritional information.  But let’s get back to the point.

Here are a few handy hints and tips of losing weight and keeping it off!

    1)  RESEARCH!  Understanding your diet plan is very important for knowing why and how it will work.  If your meal plan says you can’t eat bread it should also explain why!

    2)  PROGRESS PHOTOS!  I had my husband take photos of me every Saturday morning during the bulk of my weight loss journey. Seeing the small changes every week made such a difference keeping me on track.

    3)  INSTAGRAM!  Visual representation is great, I took photos of my meals and posted them on my DIET ONLY instagram, I have my separate instragram for my personal family pictures to keep everything in its place.  Seeing all my meals in one place is very helpful when meal planning and remembering what I enjoyed or not.

    4)  MEAL PLANNING!  Taking 10/15 minutes a week to write down a list of foods you want to cook along side the ingredients you’d need.  It helps keep you on track and you don’t need to make any last minute bad decisions.

    5)  MEAL PREP!  When ever you can try and prep meals the day before or even days before.  You’ll thank yourself if you have a busy week ahead planned!

    6)  ENJOY YOUR LIFE!  Don’t let being on a diet stop you living your life, if you have a cheat day and if that day turns into a week don’t beat yourself up!  Just try and remember why you started dieting in the first place and climb back in the wagon!

    7)  HEALTHY CHOICES!  If you are going to a restaurant with family or friends try and look online at the menu first and see what is avaliable that could fit into your diet plan best.  Maybe instead of a dessert you could have a coffee, ask for a jacket potato or salad instead of fries.

    8)  GET A BUDDY!  Finding someone in either a Facebook group or weight loss group that are in similar situation’s to you weight or lifestyle wise could really help, you can motivate each other and it really makes it feel like you are doing not just for yourself but for them too.

    9)  A NOTE TO YOUR FUTURE SELF!  This one may be a little more out there but it really helped me.  I wrote myself a letter on the day I started my weight loss journey basically explaining why I was doing it, what I hoped to achieve and how I was doing it for all the right reasons.  I taped it to my fridge and if ever I felt like breaking I would read it and it helped me stay on track.

    10)  FAMILY MATTERS!  Doing anything alone makes it ten times harder!  So I made sure all my family understood and supported me.  When I cooked healthy meals it was for all the family.  I found recipe’s for healthy desserts so we all had mostly the same.  It made life much easier and we all enjoyed eating as a family.

    11) CONGRATULATE YOURSELF! Celebrate the little victories!  Don’t just pat yourself on the back at the finish line make sure you tell yourself well done often!  You didn’t over indulge at a party “well done”, you didn’t gain too much weight on your holiday “that’s great!” Tell yourself often you are smashing it!

I truly hope at least some of these help someone, losing weight is hard.  But it’s a journey worth taking.

  • SEX POSITIONS TO HELP GET YOU PREGNANT!

SEX POSITIONS TO HELP GET YOU PREGNANT!

If you’re struggling to conceive or trying to conceive below we’ve listed the top 10 sex positions which can boost your chances of getting pregnant.

    1) Your old favourite classic, the missionary or as some like to call it ‘boring vanilla’. I’m pretty sure you don’t need me to explain this position but for anyone who is clueless its basically the woman underneath with her legs open. (P.s add a cushion under your bum to tilt you slightly for a deeper penetration!) The man will be on top of you with his arms holding his weight and he will control the movements.

    2) Doggy style (woof woof!) You either love or hate this position so if it’s not for you don’t panic you’ve got another 9 positions to choose from! This is self-explanatory, get on all fours like a dog and let your man take you from behind. Don’t forget that back arch! The man will hold your hips to control the thrusting and your welcome to help him along by rocking back and forth.

    3) Reverse cowgirl (Yeee harr!) it’s not quite like a cowgirl however do feel free to dress up like one if you fancy spicing it up. Your man will lie on the bed, and you will sit on him facing away from him so your bum is basically in his face. It’s your turn to control the movements on this one so just push up and down.

    4) The toad (yes, it’s an unusual name for a sex position) similar to missionary the only difference is you wrap your legs around your man and place your feet on his bum to guide the movements. It’s a very simple position but great for intimacy.

    5) Bandoleer (I have no clue why it’s called this but just role with it) get on your back and bring your knees to your chest just like if you were suffering from trapped wind and was trying to release a few farts. Put your feet on his chest and he will put his forearms on your knees. You can just place your hands on his thighs if you want. If you want him to go deeper just pull him in by his thighs. Bonus points in this position…the G spot gets all the action! As your man presses your knees down the pleasure increases. Sounds fun!

    6) The Hound…yet again what is with these sex positions relating to dogs. Anyway, the hound just like doggy style you’ll be getting on all fours but just lower yourself so your resting on your forearms instead. The man will like usual penetrate you from behind while, if he wants, cupping your boobies.

    7) The peg, if I’m honest it more like ‘the plank’ you’re basically planking on top of your partner. Get him to lie on his back and you lie on top of him controlling the movements. If you’re lucky enough to have a man with a big package this position will allow him not to penetrate you too deeply.

    8) From behind. Well unfortunately this is a boring name unlike the rest. Find a wall or some sort of object you can lean on and your man will stand up right and enter you from behind while holding on to your thighs.

    9) The grip. This one is good for getting deep! Place a cushion under your bum to raise your hips slightly. Move your pelvis from one side to the other. Your partner can go deep if you’re brave enough.

    10) The eagle…. As the saying goes ‘Spread eagle’! Get on your back and spread those legs up high, the man will kneel in between while holding your legs up (what a gentleman, otherwise you wouldn’t last long in this position you’d get leg cramp) this position is fantastic for going deep while the man can have a full view of what’s going on. Cushion under your bum is optional.

These are my top 10 sex positions to help you along with the road to pregnancy…but please enjoy sex! Don’t make it a chore or routine, let loose in the bedroom, go wild and just enjoy yourselves. After all once you have little people running around you’d be lucky if you even get the missionary position!

  • Sex Education, When Is The Right Time?

Mums advice asked 361 members when they think children should get sex education lesson, we were shocked by the results.242 members thought sex education shouldn’t begin until the child is between 10 and 12 years of age.
Others disagreed stating the earlier the better, maybe not about actual intercourse or stds but about about what their parts are called and who can see it or touch them, thus helping to prevent abuse.
Several members felt it best children knew basic terminology and facts to prevent bullying or misinformation in the play ground.
One member said “I don’t agree with them learning about it until they’re 10+ they dont totally understand when they are that young i understand teaching them about keeping safe away from horrible people but my little boy just thinks its funny when he was told about his body parts but on the other hand i do answer him if he asks questions too many children these days are very advanced as well “.

    Another stated
“As young as possible knowledge is power if they have the knowledge they have the power to protect themselves from sti std etc they can make educated and informed choices they will know when to say no and not feel pressured into doing things they don’t want to don’t feel comfy doing”.

    This mum said:

“I’m completely against learning it too young.. my son got sex education age 11 and he became obsessed. Honestly if I could turn back the clock I would opt him out”.

What’s your view on sex education?

What age will you teach your child or would you leave it to the school to do?

  • Carers Do You Hear Me?

When the chair is rocking slowly and the fading eye lids fall, when friends and family visits start to slow.It is my carer who I call.

I’m sorry, I know you’re busy but please don’t rush me dear, my legs are very tired and I can’t help but fear.

I press my buzzer, I call out, I shout, I wish you would come near, I know I’ve pressed it often but I am lonely here.

I cannot make it to the toilet and you have to change my pad, I didn’t mean to make a mess, please talk to me with dignity and tell me what you’re doing, turn me slowly, don’t push and shove.

When I’m laying in my bed and you are washing me, don’t talk to your colleague as if I’m not here, I like to hear about your children and to tell you about my life, I wasn’t always like this and I have so many stories running through my head.

You work such long hours and your pay is very small, but I am very thankful for all you do , when you smile and joke with me, when you comfort and calm me, when you sit with me and hold my hand, when you remember I am a person who sometimes doesn’t understand.

  • Midwives Will Be Talking About This For Months

“Your external world is a direct reflection of your inner world. You create with your thoughts, beliefs and emotions!
Knowing this and being conscious of this, is so POWERFUL.
What thoughts are you thinking? If you think that thought often enough it will become a belief which will make itself so comfortable deep in your subconscious, you won’t even know it’s there!

That belief will get you to make choices and decisions to prove that, that belief is true! Then when you experience something which proves the belief is true you will say things like ‘See it IS true!’
Throughout my pregnancy with Ashani, many people told me horror stories of labour! ‘It’s SOOOOO painful’ ‘Your downstairs will never be the same again!’ ‘It’s pain like you have never felt before!’
Every time someone told me what ‘they’ believed or experienced, I silently said to myself ‘I choose NOT to believe that will happen to me, I will have the most amazing labour that midwives will be talking about it for months and months and it will be the best experience I have EVER had!’ Every time someone shared their horrific experiences and their perception of it, I had the opportunity to reinforce my positive belief.
I had 9 months of reinforcing my belief and imagining my amazing labour experience. My powerful self-belief drove me to my powerful choices and decisions which led to 13 hours of the most peaceful beautiful labor! It was even better than I had imagined or believed it would be.
Did the midwives talk about this incredible labour for months after? Absolutely! My sister Nina Vyas was delivering her baby 5 months later and the midwife was talking about my labour!

What thoughts are you thinking? Good ones or bad ones? If you’re not sure, take a peek at your current reality and check in with yourself. Do you feel good? or do you feel bad?
