Some Men Can Be So Toxic To Your Health
Some men can be so toxic to your health. They don’t want to love you properly, but they don’t want to let you go either. The more you give the less they appreciate, and the minute you’ve had enough and decide to walk away is when they are ready to love you and treat you right.
So you give them a chance in the hopes they’ve changed only to realise it was all fake. You find the strength to walk away once more and here he comes again proclaiming his love for you and you give in, AGAIN. A man showing anger and persistence to get you back once you try to break it of isn’t proof of love; its a knee jerk reaction.
A man kissing your ass or making flaccid attempts to be nicer for two weeks isn’t proof that he’s trying, its proof that he knows you well enough to know how to defuse you long enough to hook you once again. Take away a toy, a little boy cries. Take away a relationship of convenience, a man cries.
Just because he cries doesn’t mean you give him what he wants. Stop listening to what your man keeps promising and start watching what his actions actually keep telling you. A lot of you women don’t know what its like to be loved by a real man. You know lust, you know joy, you know passion and you know the fear of abandonment. Stop chasing your idea of what love should be and recognise what love IS.
Love isn’t promising to act right after he gets caught fucking up time and time again. Love is him acting right from the start because he doesn’t want to fuck up. Love isn’t telling your grown man he needs to change so he can keep you; love is a grown man changing on his own because he cant imagine life without you.

This Time Three Years Ago Was The Worst Period Of My Life
This time three years ago was the worst period of my life.
A couple of years previously I’d managed to get myself a job, the hours were unsteady and my boss refused to give me any information further than a week ahead about whether I had a permanent job or whether I would have any hours. Because of this, I didn’t declare my job immediately to the housing benefit department until I had concrete information to take to them for fear of not being able to pay my rent (I had had periods in the past where I had declared unsteady earnings which led to my payments being stopped and me paying no rent for 4 months while it was sorted out).
As a single parent with massive anxiety and depression I was too scared to risk being evicted. So in June 2015 I was taken to court for benefit fraud. As a result, I lost my job, my boyfriend, my mental health spiraled, I was self harming and putting myself into dangerous situations. My self esteem was at an all time low, I entered into another relationship with an abusive boyfriend because I didn’t feel I was worth any more.
I knew that I could never be free of the benefits system while I had children and couldn’t get a job on much more than minimum wage so that September, I enrolled on an Access to Higher Education course at a local college so I could apply for university. Being in education made me start to believe in myself. I made new friends, and was working hard to achieve top grades. I was offered places at 5 different universities and took a place at one of the top universities after Oxford and Cambridge in London – the LSE. I was also offered a place on a mentoring scheme in London in my first year.
Being at University, being in London (I’m a northern small town girl) and being mentored by a strong female figure changed my outlook on life completely. I ended the relationship I was in and I started to believe I could do anything I wanted to do, something I’d never thought before. I get a student loan and a scholarship from my uni because I’m a mature student & single parent so I manage to support myself with that and work during the summer holidays.
This summer I decided to do something different. I saved up some money over the year to start my own online fashion business, which I have done (follow me here if you’d like to: http://bit.ly/2JfZZHN). It’s in the early stages, but eventually my goal is to help people like me, who are experiencing the shitty parts of life. To use my business to help other women with sizes made for real modern day women, paying decent wages if I employ anyone, and giving a portion of profits to women’s charities. I would never have considered being able to do any of this without making the changes I made to my life.
I suppose the moral of my story is that whatever you’re going through, however hard it may be, it isn’t the end of your story. It might be the catapult into something much better, you just have to try to find the way. If I hadn’t been taken to court, I would have never gone to university and I would never have ended up where I am now. Going back into education was the best thing I ever did for myself and my children.

Help Us To Find A Young Man Named Chris May
Do you have a brother or sister that you love with all your heart?
A brother or sister who is also one of your best friends?
Your child’s best friend.
Now imagine one day they disappeared. No sight of them anywhere. No explanation.
You couldn’t.
Some days you feel like this isn’t real.
Some days it’s so real that it smacks you in the face, hard.
Some days you think he is coming back.
Every person you see near your house when you return home, you convince yourself it may be him finally coming home even though deep down you know it isn’t.
Every time you hear a sound in the night.
Every time someone rings your door bell.
Every time an unknown number calls you.
Every time you see a car like his, even though you know his car has been found, for that spilt second you forget.
Then there are the days when you think, perhaps what the police believe has happened,is true.
Those days are the worst.
How can that be true?!
How can I live without ever seeing my brother again??
How can I explain any of this to his beautiful niece who misses him daily, when I don’t understand it myself.
How can we have hope when the person that knows something is unlikely to speak up.
How can we grieve when the person that knows something is unlikely to speak up.
How are we supposed to continue living like this?!
Two years of a living hell!
Please whoever you are, whatever you know, I am begging you to put an end to my families suffering.

I Pay My Rent In A Way That Leaves Me Sobbing
I am a lone parent to three beautiful children, Jenny, Angel and Johnny, their father left me 10 months ago for a woman he met at the gym, he walked away and hasn’t seen, spoken or financially supported his children.
We were living in a rented house and I was granted income support and housing benefits plus disability payments for my Jenny who has autism and ADHD, but the housing payments didn’t cover all the rent, the only advice the housing officer gave me was to find somewhere cheaper to live.
Each month I was £75 short to cover the rent, no matter how much I budgeted or cut back I could never get all th money together, my landlord Richard come over and threatened me with eviction, where would we go if we lost the house? Jenny had only just gotten into a very good special needs school, she was settled and happier than I had ever seen her.
All my children were still struggling with their father leaving them let alone having to move out of the only home they had ever known, possibly having to change schools and make new friends, I couldn’t do that to them.
How would I be able to afford to move, I would never be able to get a deposit together, there are very few council properties available let alone one to fit me and 3 children in, changes are we would have been placed into a hostel or bed and breakfast, not somewhere I would want to raise 3 small children.
I had no choice but to offer my body to my over weight middle-aged stinking landlord, he obviously accepted, every week on a Friday lunchtime he knocks on my door and I service his needs, I feel sick to my stomach every time I see him, I cry for ages after he has gone.
A mother will do anything for her children and this is what I have to do, if there was another way to stay I would do it, but at the moment I am stuck, I am used, I am trying to be the best mother I can be.

I Am A Dad And I Miss My Children
My wife recently left me I have two children 7 and 13, I miss them so much I speak with them twice a week and see them for 4 hours every other week. It’s just not enough I miss them so much it hurts. I find myself being emotional when I see and speak with them but I’m positive and always tell them I love them andI’m thinking of them.
It breaks my heart being a part-time father. My ex says they get upset when I see them as they miss me when I drop them off she thinks if I stay away more it will be more stable for them as it unsettles them I believe being more active seeing them more would help not hinder. I’m a good farther and I love my children but she is doing all she can to ruin the brief time I have with them she demands to know what I’m doing with them criticises me constantly. I have fun with them keep them safe and care about what they want to do whilst with me.
I have lost everything my home my wife but I don’t want to lose my children they are all I have left. I don’t know how to live my life without them. Putting my daughter to bed playing with my son being there when they are happy and sad now it’s just brief times and phone calls. I want to be a parent and a father but I’m struggling I’m scared she is trying to turn them against me with her controlling nature and I’m going to lose the bond I have. I feel so alone.
Please mums if you split with your children’s father make it easy for him to see them, they are not a weapon they are not just yours, men have feelings to, obviously if he is not safe around the children then that’s a different matter, but I am a good loving father who is being denied his own flesh and blood and I’m hurting badly
