  • Woman’s rant about slimming world goes viral

Woman’s rant about slimming world goes viral

Samantha Sage of Ipswich took to Facebook to rant about slimming world and stirred up mixed reviews and death threats

Sage said “Listen up fat ladies of the world if you really want to lose those huge fat thighs and guts stop driving to slimming world, you are trying to lose weight yet get into your vehicle and drive to your nearest slimming world, walk you lazy fatties, every meeting The car park is FULL. Use your brains rather than your stomach, eat less exercise more and leave the fat mobile at home. Free advice ladies feel free to share and let’s stop Britain from being fat and ugly, you are giving us ladies a bad name”.

Sage received thousands upon thousands of negative replies to her post, such as…

Emily Hart who said: “wow I’ve never heard something so rude some of these women may be disabled or rushing off to work straight after, you’re the ugly one with that awful attitude”

    and

Thomas Colburn “so I take it you are a size 6 then? you could be the sexiest woman on earth and i wouldn’t touch you with a barge pole, i hope you break your leg and can’t walk and get so fat you need to be driven to slimming world”.

Even more shocking is lots of people agreed with Sage stating that slimming world was a waste of money anyway and agreed the only correct way to lose weight is to cook healthy meals and exercise daily.

One woman replied with “fat people make me sick, no excuse to be over weight it is pure laziness, amen sister”.

Sage has since deactivated her Facebook account due to backlash and threats to herself and her family but not before her post had over 10000 comments and 600 shares

  • My child is Gay and that’s not okay

Grace Reynolds told us her story which actually made us feel sickened and sad that people still have this outdated view, her thoughts and views are hard to believe but please note we at Mums advice do not share these views ourselves.

    Grace said:

My son Jamie is 18 and a homosexual, Jamie was such a sweet handsome little boy, who loved his trains and cars, as he grew he was always out with his friends playing football or on his bike, such a smart, bright well behaved boy.

This year my baby boy, my only son, sat me down to tell me something that would change my life and ruin my relationship with my son.

    He is Gay!!!!

Society tells me I should be happy and even proud of him, PROUD OF WHAT?

Proud that I will never have a daughter in law?

I will never have biological grandchildren, and knowing my son is doing ungodly acts.

He has brought shame and embarrassment to my family and I.
Everyone wants to be all accepting of gays but surely all this is doing is encouraging them.
Bring back Jesus into our country, pray out the Gay, teach children that it is a mortal sin and stop putting gays on a pedestal.
I will never accept my son’s life choice, if he wants to lay with a man he won’t be supported by me.

Mums advice tried to explain to Grace how her thoughts and views were wrong and no matter what her son is, he is still her son, she should support and love him, no amount of prayers can change him, it is not a choice to be gay he was born this way.

We hope in time she sees the error of her ways but if not we hope Jamie finds love and happiness.

  • The Day I Came Out My Life Nearly Ended

The day I came out my life nearly ended.

I’d like to tell you my story, the story of the day I came out and my life nearly ended.

I have always known I was different, I knew I should like men like all my friends did but I was drawn to woman, I fought and fought my urges, I tried to like boys, but I failed.

By the time I had hit 15 I knew I could not change, it took me months and months to pluck up the courage to come out to my family.

It was a cold February evening, I walked down the stairs and told my mum, dad and older brother I needed to speak to them and begged them to please not hate me.
It took me a while to get the words out, I was so scared, so desperate not to disappoint them.

When I had finally spat the words out, my family looked at me in silence, my dad was the first to speak “you are disgusting, you need help”.

These words still haunt me, but seeing my mother in tears and my brothers angry face hurt more.
I ran to my room in tears, I eventually fell asleep in my tear stained pillow.

Around 6am I was abruptly woken by being yanked from my bed by my legs.
My father and my brother began raining down blows to my head and body.

My mother was stood by my bedroom door staring and me, I begged them to stop, I pleaded with my mother for help.
I was stripped naked and whipped, kicked, punched, spat on and the final humiliation my father took out his penis and urinated on.
I was scum, I was a dirty lesbian.

They finally left, I laid there naked, covered in my own blood and my fathers urine.
Two or three hours later my mother came in and wrapped me in my bed sheet and dragged me to the car, I thought she was going to kill me, but she drove me to the hospital.
My mother warned me not to tell them the truth or she would kill me.

I told the hospital staff and police, I was jumped on when walking back from a friends.
Roll on to my 16th birthday, I packed a bag and ran, I lived in and out of homeless shelters, on the streets and occasionally others would put me up.

I was lucky in the end a charity helped me find my feet, I found work and eventually found love.
I am 37 years old now and have never spoke with my family again.

The Day I Came Out My Life Nearly Ended but it made me stronger, I found the strength to run, you can not change how you feel.
Just because they are you family it doesn’t mean they will always have your back.
Be strong, be brave, be you.

  • Being A Gingerist Is As Bad As Being a Racist?

Being A Gingerist Is As Bad As Being a Racist?

Should being ginger or a red-head be classed the same as members of other groups, such as ethnic or religious minorities, homosexuals or disabilities?

Gingers make a convenient target for the innate human desire to single out and ridicule people who are “different”.

Anti-ginger bullying may be a particular problem in schools, but few schools make it a priority, guided by the law and codes of practice to concentrate their efforts on tackling racism, homophobia and disability prejudice. Indeed, unlike hatred based on race or sexuality, however, there is no legal recognition that anti-ginger prejudice exists.

Hair colour doesn’t feature among the list of “protected characteristics” in the 2010 Equality Act. The law attaches no special opprobrium to words that incite anti-ginger hatred, as it does to the stirring up of religious hatred or homophobia.

Anti-ginger prejudice may seem trivial to those who have never experienced it but it affects some people badly knocking their confidence and even causing people to self harm, there has also been cases of people being attacked and even killed because of the colour of their hair.

According to urbandictionary.com a gingerist is a person who puts down any person with ginger hair no matter what kind of person they are.

Should the words ginger nut, ginge, carrot top, Chucky etc be classed as a hate crime the same as the N word or the nasty shortened down version of the word Pakistani.

Being A Gingerist Is As Bad As Being a Racist?

Have you ever mocked or called someone a name just because of their natural hair colour? Do you think it should be classed as a hate crime?

Are you a natural red-head or a ginger? Does it offend you being called such names?

  • Do You Work With Any Of These?

    The worst types of colleagues:

In every work place you will have at least one of these colleagues and if you don’t your probably one of them.

    THE FAFFER
The faffer always seems busy but hardly achieves anything, always running around doing things that don’t need doing.

    THE WANNABE BOSS.
You know the type the power crazy person, who likes to tell everyone what to do but actually has no authority

     THE GOSSIPER
I hate the gossiper, you can’t keep anything secret for long around this one, and if they have no juic gossip they will make it up.

    THE CLASSIC BICH
You know the type, the one who is nice to your face but back stabs you at every available moment, and like wise your other colleagues.

    THE BLAMER
This person always messes up but my God it’s never their fault, they constantly pass the blame onto someone else.

    THE MESS.
The colleague who turns up late, forgets things they require to do their job and then leaves early.

THE HOW THE HELL YOU STILL WORK HERE.
This one does sweet FA, constantly lazy, never helps, but some how gets away with it, like seriously get off your arse and help.

    THE SICK NOTE

Yeah we all get ill, some worse than others, but this one will take a day off because their cousins dogs got worms.

    THE LUCKY BREAK
This goes to seniors, managers etc… ones who landed in a job they just aren’t cut out for.                                                                                        They hate you as you know the job better than they do!!

    THE HAPPY ONE
Ok maybe they shouldn’t be on the worst types of colleagues list, but how can you be so damn happy to be at work, I’m angry that you’re happy here, it’s like hell on Earth.

  • I Hate Fathers Day

Fathers day is here for many its a wonderful day, full of love, hugs, gifts and displays of appreciation. A much deserved day for hard-working loving fathers.

But then, there are woman and children out there who can’t celebrate the day, the day is full of hurt and sadness for their father, their rock has passed away.

Some people light candles, others raise a glass in their honour but for me I smile and have my family round for a huge roast to tell stories of the wonderful man I call DAD!!!

I hate seeing posts on Facebook slating dads, yes, yes, yes there are some awful dads, some terrible deserters, some total douche bags…

BUT THIS IS NOT A DAY FOR THEM!!!!

This is a day to celebrate the Fathers who reside in Heaven, the dads who work hard to provide, the man who has their kids back and raises their sons to be amazing dads, and teaches their daughter how a woman deserves to be treated.

TO ALL THE DADS OUT THERE…. THANK YOU!
