Do Not Ask Me For Free Stuff It’s Not Cool
Do NOT ask your hair stylist/ barber friend for free haircuts or colour services.
Do NOT ask your retail friends for discounts on clothes in their store.
Do NOT ask your server friends for free food or to not charge you for something you ordered.
Do NOT ask your bartender friends for extra liquor in your drink.
Do NOT ask your shirt maker friend for free shirts or if you can just bring a shirt and have them put vinyl on it for free.
The list could go on
Do you realize how asinine you look going into a place of business and asking your friend/ acquaintance for a discount because you “know” them
Like seriously… That is their JOB! This is how they pay their bills or feed their family and YOU think that just because you “know” them that you should get a hookup?
Please, humor me for a second
Do they go to YOUR job and ask for discounts, free food, drinks or hookups? Nope.
(& If y’all have a special bond like that, this isn’t for you)
You can’t expect someone to risk their job for you. We are adults. We have bills. We have mortgages. We have children. We need our jobs!
Or asking friends who have their own businesses for FREE services
Running a business is not free. Material costs. Taxes. Time & effort. Etc….
Just stop it’s not cute! We’re not cool like that. If we are and it’s something I want to do, I will do it, BUT don’t ask! Talk about awkward!

How Do I Get Over A Friend Having An Abortion
Has anyone had to cope with their very close friend/family getting an abortion? I am trying to get over/passed it before it happens so we can move on with our friendship, but it is wearing so heavily on my heart I can’t bear it any longer and I’m not sure I will ever be able to look at her the same again.
She is my Fiancé’s cousin, but they were raised as siblings.. she has offered to carry a baby for us NUMEROUS times and I’ve always been able to vent to her about my struggles with infertility.
She isn’t always the most responsible person on earth and she called me a week ago saying she thought she was pregnant and the guy she had been sleeping with is just a friend he doesn’t want anymore children.
Now please don’t think of me the wrong way, I’m IN NO WAY saying she should give the baby to us. (Not that we would decline that offer but regardless) I just didn’t expect her to choose anything other than life for this baby. She has always been on the same page as me when it came to being Pro-Life.. and now that it’s happened to her she’s turned a 360. She has an appointment scheduled for friday to terminate.
I’m just looking for some advice, do I say something, ignore and move on after all it is her body her choice, but I am finding it so hard to understand and accept, we would give anything to have a new life to call our own, yet she has been given the gift of a baby and she plans to destroy this.
Am I just being jealous and bitter? Would I feel differently had I already had a baby of my own, what would you do?

Today’s The Day I Plan To End My Life
Today’s the day I die.
Today I plan to end my life, in my eyes I’ve been dead for some time now.
My mind won’t be quiet and cutting doesn’t ease the pain, I’ve seen a doctor many times and friends have left my side.
My brain is my own worse enemy making me sad all the time, I wish I didn’t feel this way, I’d do anything to escape.
My family tell me I have so much going for me and have no reason to feel this way, I need to get on with things and stop being selfish and lazy and leave my house each day.
But they do not know I didn’t choose this way, depression has a hold of me and I can’t run away.
Some days I feel oh such pride by getting out of bed and faking my own sweet smile.
But today’s the day I plan to die for I can’t carry on, I’m sorry for being so miserable and burden you with my pain, I know I am a kill joy and make you feel so down.
Depression is my killer not my own fair hand, I’m sorry for being ill and that you don’t understand.
Today is the day I plan to die.
This was written in my diary 3 years ago at my lowest point I had it all planned out, paid all bills and packed up my home so my family wouldn’t have to.
But something happened to stop me, a knock on the door a friendly face, one friend who hadn’t forgotten me, who held me as I cried, someone who listened and didn’t try to give me solutions or tell me what to do.
She sat with me for hours as I wept and held me close to her, we agreed I would get help and took me to a local mental health unit, I still battle my depression it doesn’t just go away, I hope that any one who feels like this gets the help they need.
If you know someone with depression don’t give up on them, the smallest action can be such a huge thing, if my friend hadn’t stopped by that day I wouldn’t be writing this now.

Brides List Of Demands Are Crazy- Bridezilla
One woman took to Facebook to ask advice in an anonymous forum, let us know in the comments if she is right to be a tad annoyed.
The woman wrote:
I’ve been asked to be a bridesmaid next year but the bride has some demands, I just want to know if I am being a dick here!
1) I need long blonde hair. I currently have short red hair I’ve told her I won’t be bleaching however I’ll compromise and wear a wig
2) I need to be size 10. I’m currently an 18 after losing 8 stone this year i’ve told her I will work as hard as I can but I feel that is slightly unrealistic, she won’t budge and will only order my dress in a 10 and I am to pay the full cost of it.
3) I need to take all my piercings out, including my tongue bar! I’ve told her I will comprise with retainers but my chest piercing can’t come out as I’ll never ever get it back in.
4) (my personal favourite) I need to cover my tattoos. All 15 of them. We are having mid-thigh dresses, I have tattoos on my legs, arms, back, hands, chest and neck. Told her this will not be covered under any circumstances.
5) my husband isn’t coming to the wedding or reception, she doesn’t want us “being cuter than her and her husband” in fairness, he won’t go anyway because he hates her 😂 and we have got 2 kids so he will be home with them
If I don’t adhere to all these rules, I’m out of the bridal party. Am I a wrong for my compromises and basically telling her I don’t want to be involved? It’s a bit high maintenance for my liking!
Would you chance to make the bride happy after all it is her special day or tell her where to go?

I wish I had just one real friend
I wish I had just one real friend
I wish I had a friend even just one.
I have people in my life who call me friend but speak badly about me behind my back.
I have one who says I am their mate but only sees me when it’s a benefit to her life, be it babysitting her child, or driving her to tescos, a person to go to when she is bored.
I have another who is my pal but only when we’re alone, if she’s with her little gang of mums she can’t even bring herself to say hello she walks passed me with her head down, I’ve asked her why and it’s always the same “oh sorry I didn’t see you”.
You see I’m different, I’m odd I’m strange for I am loyal to people, I will stand up for a friend, I will go out of my way to help, I will drop plans to help you even if it isn’t convenient for me, but I am yet to meet one person who shares my views.
I am lonely, I am sad, I wish I had just one friend, someone I could call for help and wouldn’t feel like a hindrance, a nuisance or a beggar, one friend who didn’t use me, one friend who spoke highly of me even when I’m not around, just one person I could tell my problems to and not worry it would be spread around.
So give me one friend rather than twenty fake ones, twenty users, if you can’t be a real friend don’t pretend to be one.
I guess what im trying to say is this world is a hard enough place without others bringing you down, be a real friend, be kind and for gods sakes don’t talk badly of people behind their backs.
