  • I Don’t Know How To Love The Way I Look

I don’t know how to love the way I look.

People say I’m negative about me but I think I’m just honest. I don’t like the way I look. My friends tell me I’m beautiful but do you really see ugly in people you care about?

Would you ever tell someone you loved that their eyes were too small, nose too big, breasts too saggy, bum too big? I wouldn’t I don’t see any imperfections in someone I love but I see them in myself and when I’m honest about my looks and personality I’m told to shut up or to stop being negative but I don’t know how.

I’ve always been told that I’m fat, im ugly, im dumb, im boring etc so when I’ve finally got good people I care about and who care about me with no agenda other than they like me I can’t feel better about me. I don’t feel I have someone who can help me see me in a better light or can help me learn to style my hair better or learn the elusive trick to give myself an eyeliner flick no matter how many YouTube videos I watch because I feel like my friends are bored with my attitude but I don’t know how to change it.

I don’t have any self-confidence that got taken away from me a long time ago. I truly believe I will always be the ugly fat friend. If you have a friend like me please don’t brush off how they feel or tell them to shut up help them. Help them with clothes and make up help them to see how beautiful they really are. Help them to see that actually they are perfect.

  • Ghost Child Playing With My Children

I thought I’d share another epic parenting fail with you all. I’m a mother of 7 children so these unfortunate events are part of daily life.

A few months ago I witnessed my 5yr old little girl talking to herself. Or at least I thought she was. I continued to watch her, and quickly realised she must have an imaginary friend. Aww bless her 😍

The days go on and one tea time, I decided to up my parenting game, and offer to cook her imaginary friend a portion of spag bol too. Why not?

“Oh mummy don’t be silly, she’s dead! She can’t eat food!”

Holy shit on a cracker….She’s fucking what now?! (Didn’t actually say that part out loud)

“Thanks for offering though mum 😊😊😊”

Fuck. Fuckety fuck fuck. Do we move house? Call a priest or just be done with it and burn the place down!. I’m equipped for a lot of childlike circumstances but the adoption of fucking Casper. absolutely not.

After I calm down, I ask my daughter some questions to try find out a little bit more about our new addition.

With confidence and zero fear, she proceeds to tell me her friend is the same age as her. She’s a little black girl. She loves summer. She’s allowed to play during the day but at night-time she has to go home. My daughter doesnt know her name so calls her Sally. (Ok… So at least I know we can sleep easy 🙄)

For weeks I watch my darling little psycho play with her dead friend. Sometimes my other children join in too. They can all see her which is even more terrifying. They chase each other, giggle and Love to play hide and seek.

Then one day I noticed that her “friend” wasn’t around as much.

    Probing… I ask her where she’s gone.

“Oh she’s not around today cos you have the blinds shut”

Hmmmm. Thinking of all the last few months events I have a sudden brain wave and open the blinds.

“Mummy mummy she’s here she’s here!”

Omfg. I had spent weeks and weeks googling spirits. I watched hours of the ghost whisperer, looking up priests and dreaming about Ghost busters! For what?!….

    Sally the fucking SHADOW! 😱

  • Dear Friend, I’m Sorry For Being So Bloody Rubbish

    Dear Friend,

I am sorry for being so bloody rubbish.

But you see, life moves really – REALLY – fast.

From the minute I open my eyes there are 2 small people, several big people and even some animals who are relying on me for many different reasons. Some of them involve eating and basic survival.

I am spinning plates and dropping plenty. You, my dear friend are one of those plates.

But I love you very much.

I wish that every text message I wrote to you in my head made it into the virtual space and into your phone to let you know you’re in my heart and on my mind.

I wish I could carry through with all the plans we make, knowing we never will. I go there in my mind – it’s loads of fun.

When I drop, frazzled, into bed at night, I remember I haven’t rung you, again.

Then I remember I haven’t locked the back door or brought the cat in and just like that, it’s happened again and I have forgotten, again.

I am very hopeful that one day life will be easier and we will be blessed with plenty of time for laughing, drinking and sharing.

    Stick with me,

I promise I will be worth it – when we are old and grey and you need someone to laugh with in the nursing home.

    I’m there.

    Yours Loyally,

    Your bloody rubbish friend

    xxx

  • He Cheated In The Worst Way

Last year me and my husband  were watching Netflix when he got a call. He took it in the other room, but I could hear him and could tell he was upset. After a few minutes he came out, said he’d be right back, and left without answering my many questions.

About an hour later he came back with my best friend.  This was odd, but I politely greeted her, thinking to myself why has he gone and collected my best friend.

My husband told me to sit and they sat next to each other on the couch across from me, was one of the ill I thought to myself, what is going on?

She was really uncomfortable and wasn’t making eye contact with me, and my husband couldn’t look at me. He looked passed me and told me what was wrong. He told me that he had cheated on me, and that she was pregnant, and that she had been kicked out of her house so he offered her our spare bedroom.

She was four months pregnant and we had barely been married a year and he had already fucked another girl, if he were going to cheat he could at least of picked someone else.

I felt sick, embarrassed, angry and betrayed, and the fact that he let her live here without asking me was too much.

I couldn’t even bring myself to yell at him. Or throw something at him. I just cried. I cried for about ten minutes, and the my asshole husband never comforted me, or even looked at me. All he could say was “well…. sorry”. I couldn’t bring myself to kick her out so I’ve let her stay, i was basically taking care of the girl who ruined my marriage, who I used to confided in.

In one night I lost my husband and my best friend, I was used, it is clear to me now that neither of them loved me, and you know what I no longer care, I am not angry, I am not sad I am free, my best friend actually did me a favour I didn’t have to spend a life time with a man who did not love me.

They aren’t together anymore, my husband does see the child but only once a fortnight as he lives in a dirty house share, I however have found a rewarding career ad awaiting a huge party when my divorce is finalised.

  • Was I Even Raped? Was It My Fault? Help me

I want to share my story as I’m trying to process what happened to me that night and that it wasn’t right and wasn’t my fault…

I had a friend for 20 years, who I trusted dearly, we’d go to one another with problems etc. He’d been away for a while, so he said he’d come or over with wine. I’m a binge drinker so within 3 hours i had drank 1/2 a bottle of wine and.1/2 a.bottle of rum, maybe more. Once it hit I took myself to bed and phoned my partner, I can’t remember our phone call, but he said we was on the phone over two hours.

I carried on drinking during this also, so god knows how much I had consumed by this point. I couldn’t open my eyes, I remember trying and everything was double. My cousin was here not drinking and was trying to feed me coffee via a straw, which I threw up all over her (lovely). She said I passed out shortly after this, she tried giving my friend the hint to go home and after nearly an hour of him just sat there she said she was going to bed. He got up then, went and brushed his teeth, switched all my plugs off and lights came in my room and shut the door, telling my cousin to knock on if she needed anything (I was still asleep and didn’t hear a thing)

The next thing I remember is him telling me to come over, he started to kiss me I then go back out again and my next memory is him asking me where I keep my dog collars, the next thing I remember is being dragged back by force and then nothing. I was on my back the whole time. I then wake up to him I think, performing oral sex on me I remember looking down and thinking whats happening, but I was far too drunk to really respond to what was happening. I went back out and the next thing I remember is him having sex with me, then I got this conscious out of nowhere and told him to stop I’m seeing someone, I kind of remember him scrambling off my body and I just passed out again.

I woke up confused with no knickers on but my bra and shirt on still done up. I was feeling guilty thinking I cheated on my partner and partly traumatized. My main concern for some reason at that time was my partner, someone else had sex with me.

It was under a month ago and i’m hauted by these questions

what if I did want it at the time? What if this is me being dramatic?

    what if he’s innocent?

what if I led him on?

I don’t know if this is normal. I spend my days trying to get memories back, then I get upset or confused. Can anyone advice me what to do, was I even raped?
