  • He ate 12 DOSES of Ex-lax.

Oh my God, I have never laughed so fucking hard in my LIFE.

So last night my husband took some Ex-lax. Then this morning, some shit started going down. Like, literally. He looked at the packaging and realized that when it said to eat 1-2 squares, it meant the tiny squares, not an entire block.

He ate 12 DOSES of Ex-lax.

(Husband, baby, I can see where the mistake was made. With that whole block of chocolate wrapped up like one dose, and it flipped backwards like it was, I get it. But good Lord, I can’t even with this.)

So I’m calling Poison Control because he thought he was dying and I literally cannot stop laughing. I’m barely able to talk, I’m laughing so hard. The guy on the other end probably thought it was a prank call. I swear to God, I hope they record their calls and enjoy that one at the staff meeting later because even thinking about me trying to explain that my 39 year old husband just ate a whole brick of Ex-lax is making me wheeze.

The guy was like, “The biggest risks are cramping, dehydration, and diaper rash.”

    Motherfucking DIAPER RASH.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was NOT ready for this dude to come at me with diaper rash. I completely lost it. My husband was so pissed (from the bathroom of course). The Poison Control guy kept chuckling and going, “Oh boy. Oooooooh boy. You’ll need to get some Desitin.”

    DEAD.

I am not equipped to deal with this kind of crisis. I know it could have been super serious, but OMG

And the funniest part of all is he thought he only took a half dose because he only ate one bar 😂😂😂

He’s going to be fine. I’m still crying. I can’t even drink my latte because I keep choking thinking about it and spitting my coffee back into my mug. I had to lay down sideways in a restaurant booth because I was laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe, three full hours after this happened. I kept clearing my throat on the call with Poison Control like, “Ahem. Okay, I know this is serious. Please continue. AHAHAHAHAHA!!!”

    💀💀💀💀💀💀

He let me share this story. I have no idea why. All I know is it’s a gift to the universe.

  • To The Other Woman Who Ran Off With The Love Of My Life

    To the other woman:

I hated you. I watched you run off with the love of my life, happily and shamelessly showing the world what you had done. It took me weeks to realize that the infidelity had been going on long before our relationship ended. It took me months to realize that my pain and tears were used as a device to manufacture your sympathy. And now, it will take me years to recover from the insecurity that comes from being triangulated with another woman.

But I do not hate you anymore. I fear for you.

Although we share different personalities, bodies, and spirits – when it comes to this relationship, we are the same woman.

You see, I once rode the high that you’re currently living. I was the special one. The most beautiful, perfect, flawless partner in the world. I saved him from the pain of his last, crazy ex. I sympathized with him about how horribly she treated him, according to him. I was elated to be the woman who finally made him happy, after all of his alleged suffering. He was fascinated by me. He spent every waking moment texting me and showering me with attention.

    Does this sound familiar?

One must wonder, in this short span of time, how I suddenly became crazy. Bipolar. Jealous. Needy. Clingy. Abusive. How did that happen? Is it really possible for a person to go from flawless to horrible in the blink of an eye? And furthermore, is it really possible that his previous ex was all of these things as well? And what about the ex before that?

The common denominator has become startlingly clear.

For so long, I punished myself. I truly believed that I deserved it. Something must be wrong with me, I thought, in order for him to run off into the sunset with another woman. So happily and enthusiastically.

But then I realized, I was once that woman. I was you.

And because of that, I understand that I can never save you from this nightmare. Psychopathic victims cannot escape once they have been groomed. For the rest of your relationship, you will deny reality and invent reasons that you might be the exception. You will lie to yourself, desperately trying to recreate your perfect dream. But ever so slowly, your identity will begin to fall apart. Like sandpaper, he will push your boundaries until you don’t even know who you are anymore.

Another woman will enter the scene. It is inevitable in relationships with narcissistic men. You will be strung along for as long as possible, as I once was. Your increasingly volatile reactions will be used against you, to evoke sympathy from the new target.

And eventually, you will be me.

This is why I fear for you. I would not wish the pain & suffering I’ve experienced on anyone. I know that your intentions were not malicious. I know that you were being spoon-fed the exact same lies I believed a long time ago.

The story you’ve been told is false. It was a pity ploy, designed to enhance your fairytale and consume your heart. You will not believe that today, but someday this letter will make sense. Brutal, heartbreaking sense.

I can only hope that the aftermath of your abuse might be guided by this letter. I can only hope that this might provide you with the tools that I was never given. A puzzle piece, to jumpstart your journey.

I do not hate you. That is what he would want.

Psychopathic mind games are invincible to everything but love. I will not carry on his legacy by taking part in these triangles anymore, injecting jealousy & hatred to fill the void of his soul.

I’ve made it through to the other side, and I know you can too. Please have the same empathy for the woman who replaces you. We can only ever stop this cycle of abuse with compassion for one another. By recognizing that all human beings deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, and honesty. By recognizing that there is no other woman – we are all that woman.

Wishing you love, hope, and above all: freedom.

  • Why Won’t She Change Her Surname

I need to know if I am in the wrong here, I am pretty sure I am not.

My partner was married for 11 years to the mother of his three children, I met him 2 years after they had split and we are very happy together and I get on really well with his three children there is only one problem, my partners ex-wife!!!

She kept his surname when they split and I didn’t say anything straight away I then asked him why she still had it when they are divorced, he did not answer me.

Since then she has remarried changed her name to her new married name divorced again and gone back to my partners surname.

Am I wrong in asking him to ask her to go to her maiden name and not his name?? We are going through a bad patch on the verge of splitting up as it is. I have to deal with her going to his family parties which I hate and now she has gone back to his name.

We were planning to get married in the next few years but I refuse while she has his name. Surely when u divorce u would go back to your maiden name.

He argues that she may want the same surname as their children but this argument is invalid as surely she would have kept that name when she married her last husband, i cannot share the same name as her, especially as she is still unfortunately very much part of our lives.

Everyone I have spoken to says that it is strange or one person commented that her maiden name must be awful to avoid using it again (it’s a pretty normal surname) am I wrong to feel upset and annoyed by this or am I being selfish or unnecessarily annoyed?

  • I Am A Dad And I Miss My Children

My wife recently left me I have two children 7 and 13, I miss them so much I speak with them twice a week and see them for 4 hours every other week. It’s just not enough I miss them so much it hurts. I find myself being emotional when I see and speak with them but I’m positive and always tell them I love them andI’m thinking of them.

It breaks my heart being a part-time father. My ex says they get upset when I see them as they miss me when I drop them off she thinks if I stay away more it will be more stable for them as it unsettles them I believe being more active seeing them more would help not hinder. I’m a good farther and I love my children but she is doing all she can to ruin the brief time I have with them she demands to know what I’m doing with them criticises me constantly. I have fun with them keep them  safe and care about what they want to do whilst with me.

I have lost everything my home my wife but I don’t want to lose my children they are all I have left. I don’t know how to live my life without them. Putting my daughter to bed playing with my son being there when they are happy and sad now it’s just brief times and phone calls. I want to be a parent and a father but I’m struggling I’m scared she is trying to turn them against me with her controlling nature and I’m going to lose the bond I have. I feel so alone.

Please mums if you split with your children’s father make it easy for him to see them, they are not a weapon they are not just yours, men have feelings to, obviously if he is not safe around the children then that’s a different matter, but I am a good loving father who is being denied his own flesh and blood and I’m hurting badly

  • You’re Not Dad Of The Year For Posting One Photo

Ciara Moore’s Views having gone viral and for good reasons.

Moore said” Having a baby is all cuddles & about family until things hit the fan with your child’s father and he up and leaves. BOOM now you’re a single mother, left to do it all by yourself, while he MIGHT* ask to see the child once or twice a week and change a couple pampers a day but still gets his beauty sleep while months down the road were STILL feeling like a zombie.

You get to sneak away once a week at night if your lucky to catch up with old friends (the two you have left 🤷‍♀️) and get SHAMED for it . You’re now a bad mum lol. While he lives his regular life with no responsibilities & drinks and hangs out every day but is still quoted “ Best Dad of the Year” JUST because he posts one simple picture with your child he took the last time he saw the kid bc in reality it’s been like a month 😂.

You’ll sit at home after work each day with your child and be happy but still slightly alone because you are. You have a beautiful little person that you take care of but when you rest your head at night and realize “wow my phone hasn’t gone off at all …” and no ones even checked on you or offered to bring you a bite to eat to catch up or ANYTHING small just to make you feel a little less lonely … that’s when reality hits you. And you even start to blame yourself bc now your child is either being raised in a split family , has a revolving door of a father OR no father at all.

I guess that’s a part of growing up is realizing it’s not all that people make it out to be. A picture says a thousand words BUT there’s a thousand more behind it. Dads can drink their feelings away while we have no choice but to face them and pick ourselves back up each day for our child. Especially dealing with some** of the things above or seeing people** i know deal with it .. it’s SAD . But exactly why I admire women/ mothers . We cry all we want but that’s a sign of strength. Somehow we ALWAYS pull through. #notalldadsarethesame !!#dontarguewithme#momsareamazing 👩‍👧👩‍👦

  • I Destroyed My Relationship On Purpose

I met David in 2013 when I was 24 years old, David was a few years older than me and had recently got out of a long relationship with the mother of her daughter.

I was what you would call a whirl wind relationship within three months we were living together and I had never been happier, Davids little girl Evie visited every Wednesday and every other weekend she was the apple of Davids eye and such a sweet, funny, kind girl it made me so happy to have her in my life but it also made me want a child of my own.

By the end of 2014 David and I were actively trying for a baby and it didn’t take long for me to fall pregnant, April 2015 I gave birth to my own daughter Amber.

Evie continued to visit after the birth of Amber and loved being a big sister, but Evie’s mother became a tad jealous, she wouldn’t acknowledge Amber as Evies sister and just called her IT, soon it was harder and harder for David to see Evie, the mum would always have excuses as to why Evie couldn’t visit.

David didn’t see Evie for months so he drove to his exs house and demanded to know why, the ex said she didn’t like me and until we split up he would not be able to see his first-born daughter.

David and I sat down and discussed going down the legal route and fighting for Evie but we just didn’t have the money.

I could see David was getting more and more depressed he was often angry or with drawn, he missed Evie so much, and I was the reason they were apart, I had to do something.

I began fights for no reason, I became lazy, refused sex, I didn’t make any effort with my appearance and started going out in the evening, I was trying to push him away, I wanted him to leave me and to be able to see his baby girl.

David couldn’t take any more of the arguing and lack of love and he left me, he still saw our daughter most days and was able to see Evie again, he now has both his daughters in his life, I have lost the love of my life but I could not sit back and see him so depressed, I loved him so much that I had to push him away.

Some days I regret my decision because I loved him so much but he loved being a dad and now he gets to do that with both his children.

David is the best dad i could ever ask for, I just wish his ex wasn’t such a bitter, twisted  or that court costs were lowered when children are involved.
