  • Is It Easier To Be Vegan Compared To Eating Meat

    [the_ad_placement id=”before-content”]

Is it easier to be vegan compared to eating meat, dairy and eggs?

    My thoughts:

“it is much easier to eat meat and drink milk”

It is not easier for the animals that are gassed to death or shot.

It is not easier for the animals cramped up in trucks going towards the slaughter-house, for many the only time in their short life they see the sun.

It is not easier for the slaughterhouse workers, who kill hundreds of animals per day, and who suffer from stress and psychological problems because of it.

Or the male chicks dying a painful death being gassed to death just after birth because of that no one can profit from them.

Nor the fish who suffer from being dragged up and who suffer dying in the nets.

It is not easier for the humans and the animals who lose their home when the Amazons is destroyed to make land for soy plantations to feed cows.

It isn’t easier for everyone who suffers from obesity or die of heart attack due to arteries clogged by eating a lot of meat, dairy and eggs.

We can easily get all nutrients we need on a balanced plant-based diet. You can get B12 from meat, but to say that it is easier than ordering B12-supplements isn’t true.

It is much easier to choose life in the supermarket, rather than closing your eyes to all misery, suffering and death that the animals went through to be reduced to meat, dairy, eggs, fish and honey. Choose life and freedom for everyone, step out of paying for this violence. It is much easier to be vegan for everyone and for you.

  • He Beat The Baby Out Of Her- Domestic Violence

Last year it finally happened. The mother of another girl messaged me and said he’s doing it again he is hitting and beating and being abusive to her daughter. I spoke to her mum, I spoke to the girl.

The mum was desperate to save her daughter but the girl has gone back to him again, she has been brain washed by this man she believes he won’t do it again, BUT HE WILL.

Less than a month later I receive another call the poor girl, was beaten so badly she had to have her jaw wired, she went back again, she believed his lies, she believed she deserved it, she was wrong, no one deserves to be beaten, no one deserves to feel so worthless.

Then it happened the worst thing possible, she became pregnant, then came the accusations that she was cheating, how she possibly could cheat when he never lets her out of his sights.

Her loving mum called me a few months ago, the girl had got to 4 months pregnant and he became jealous of their growing fetus, he basically beat the baby out of her, she sadly lost the life that was growing inside of her, she plunged deeper and deeper into depression and ultimately took her own life.

I speak to her mum regularly, she is understandably broken and doesn’t understand why her daughter didn’t just leave, but sometimes it isn’t that simple, sometimes woman have to have more help than just family or friends telling them he is bad.

I wish I had done more, I wish I had referred her to the police, the Samaritans ANYONE in authority.

If a man has beaten one girlfriend the chances are he will beat the next, please listen to others when it comes to domestic violence, be wary and listen to your instincts.

  • I Am Too Weak To Leave My Abusive Marriage

I am too weak to leave my abusive marriage. Walking on eggshells everyday. Trying to do all the house works while watching two little kids and still get yelled at, at the end of the day, if it is not up to his standards and he has had a bad day I may be hit . I feel sorry for the kids, so after each fight, I beg him not to leave, I do not want them to be raised without a father. After getting yelled at and abused, I asked him not to leave, I beg him, I apologise.

He is a wonderful, loving, supportive father, he is the bread-winner, he doesn’t mean to hurt me, he is just tired after a long day at work, I must be doing something wrong, not working hard enough myself or clearly don’t give him what he so needs after a long day.

This is how I felt three years ago I was clearly weak, NO I WAS WEAK, I had been broken down so much to think I was worthless that I believed it, no one would want me, I was scum.

When my daughter was five years ago she fell asleep in her loving fathers lap, she had an accident in her sleep and wet herself. He leapt up from his armchair launching our daughter across he room, he launched towards her, fists raised, ready to hit our little girl, I stepped in between them, I took the punch, and you know what I woke up to the reality I was actually living in, I was not the problem, HE WAS!

Once he was in bed, I packed a small bag for my children, and walked in the night carrying one child and holding the hand of another, I had no plan, nowhere to go, but anywhere was safer than living with him.

Three years later and I have a job, a new relationship where I feel safe to have a voice, to have a lazy day, to let my kids be kids, life has never been better, my children remember very little of their father but sometimes my daughter will wake up crying and remembers glass breaking and my tears, I did not realise at the time that she had heard the fights, that she had snuck into her baby brothers room (he was 2 at the time) she had held him and covered his ears so he could not hear.

Please if you are in an abusive relationship, GET OUT. GET HELP, you may think he will never hurt your children, but he will, he doesn’t have to physically hit them to cause pain, the pain of hearing their mother being abused is enough

  • Stabbed To Death After Fleeing Domestic Violence Relationship

On 27th December 2010 I arrived back from the Next Sale forgetting to buy my husband paracetamol for his headache on the way home. It caused him to lose his temper in-front of my two daughters & three step-daughters…by this point we had been together for ten years and it was a familiar scene…that day I left, like I had done so many times before, only when I arrived at my mums this time I called the police.

Two officers arrived and watched my husband frantically circle my mums flat in his car & they listened to the constant voicemails where he screamed “Why are the police there? Why are you talking to the fucking police? Think about what you’re doing”.

They then heard the voicemails change to him sounding calm and rational saying “Come on baby. It’s a row. Just come home. I love you”….

If it hadn’t have been for the patience and time those police officers gave me that day I wouldn’t have made that statement. I wouldn’t have been honest when I answered their Domestic abuse risk assessment and I wouldn’t have agreed to let them be present at my marital home as I cleared out my belongings.

And as my family and friends helped me clear out mine & my babies clothes I listened to him tell me he was sorry, in front of those Police officers. I listened to him tell me he would change this time and as he begged and his tears came I wondered if I was making a mistake – but those officers and that support network reminded me why I had made the choice I had.

Afterwards the threats & abuse started – and some were carried out. My mum got investigated for benefit fraud, he attempted to destroy one of my siblings marriages with false accusations of infidelity, every single one of my friends were paid visits – my best friend saw him outside her house with a baseball bat in his hand, my car was keyed, my Managing Director walked into my workplace with our dog which he had found tied up outside & I was repeatedly assessed by social services for child neglect and abuse.

I was stalked – he followed me in his friends cars so I wouldn’t recognise him and he hid in bushes outside my new home.

And after the threats and abuse came the apologies and false promises….most of the above my eldest daughter saw and still remembers….

…..and that cycle of abuse was as intense when I left that marriage as when I was when I was in it….and I was frightened. There were times I considered going back for an ‘easier life’ and there were times I accepted that I’d just be controlled forever.

Today I’ve spoken to the mum of the stunning girl in this post.

    Faye.

She was a thirty year old mum of three beautiful little girls…she left her husband after years of Domestic abuse. She had left him many times before – only this time it was for good..and as she got stronger being away from him he saw he was losing control.

On Saturday 28th April he stabbed Faye to death.

Her mum will now try somehow and continue to live without her daughter, her friends and family are left destroyed and one day her babies will learn that their Mummy died under the most horrific cruel circumstances.

Right now, this month, seven women be murdered in our country by a current or former partner.

This is the exact reason Domestic abuse needs to be highlighted.

It’s why every agency from our schools to our Police force need a full understanding of Domestic abuse to support men; women and children to leave and remain safe.

Faye – I am so sorry – I am devastated we have lost another mum, friend, daughter – another amazing woman who should be waking up tomorrow to do the school run.

Please help smash the target here to somehow help towards Faye’s babies futures: https://www.gofundme.com/5hkcti0

  • Everyone Should Know About Clare’s Law

Clare’s law gives people the ability to find out if their partner, or potential partner, has a history of abuse or violence.

The scheme, known as Clare’s Law, also allows others with concerns (e.g. family members, friends, neighbours etc.) to make an application if they have concerns about the welfare of another person.

The aim of the scheme is to give members of the public a formal mechanism to make enquiries about an individual they are/were in a relationship with where there is a concern that the individual may be violent or abusive towards them. This is known as the ‘right to ask’.

Third parties may make an enquiry on behalf of a potential or existing victims if they have some form of contact with that victim (e.g. parent, neighbour, friend). Enquiries can also be made in relation to ex-partners.

If police checks show that the individual has a record of violent behaviour, or there is other information/intelligence to indicate that the person is at risk, the police will consider sharing this information with the person(s) best placed to protect the potential victim.

The scheme aims to enable potential victims to make a more informed decision on whether to continue a relationship and provides further help and support to assist individuals when making that informed choice.

    To make an enquiry

    Call 101

    What will happen

    • The police will ask if anyone is in immediate danger. If someone is in danger the call will be treated as an emergency.

    • If it is not an emergency the police will ask whether you are enquiring for yourself or for someone else.

    • You will be connected through to a call handler to discuss the matter

    • Your details will be taken and then the person who is being checked details will be taken. If you are reporting on behalf of someone else your details will still be taken.

    • A log will be made of the enquiry.

    • The caller will be advised that the application will be processed.

    • The police will check again that no-one is in any immediate danger.

    • The police will remind the caller to ring 999 if they become fearful or to check this section of the website for further advice and support.

Clare’s Law’, was made after the horrific killing of 36-year-old mother Clare Wood by a man she met on Facebook. George Appleton strangled Ms Wood and set her body on fire before hanging himself.

Friends and family were shocked to discover that the killer had a history of violence against women, including repeated harassment, threats and the kidnapping at knifepoint of one of his other ex-girlfriends.

  • Brave Woman Shares Her Survival

Izzie Cronin took to Facebook to warn others about the signs of an abusive partner.

I WILL NOT NAME HIM THIS IS AN ONGOING CASE THIS POST WAS PURELY TO WARN THOSE WHO ARE WORRIED ABOUT THEIR PARTNERS

I would never normally post something like this however I think it is extremely important to make people aware of the signs of an abusive partner. I would never want anyone to have to go what I have been through I feel it is very important for me to outline the initial signs of an abusive person that can easily be excused. This all happened in the early hours of Thursday morning this week.

My story- My now ex boyfriend (my first ever boyfriend) was always very jealous and possessive of me, every emotion he had for me was heightened, he was either all over me and completely obsessed or he’d snap and say horrible personal things at the slightest thing I did that he considered wrong. We had a very intense relationship and I had mentioned to him before that I felt he would always put me down to make himself feel better however I never saw what happened coming. I thought I had a normal relationship with a normal person with normal up and downs. I was so deeply in love with him I am so devastated and heartbroken that my first love could’ve done this to me.

The night- We went on a night out, we had both been drinking however he was particularly drunk. After only a short period of time he threw a drink at me in the bar we were at as I said he was too drunk to have my drink. He stormed off made a huge scene and the bouncers kicked him out because it was clear he was causing me distress. I revived over 65 missed calls from him while I was still in the bar as he was waiting outside until I left, about 2 hours later. He tried to get in a taxi with me home but of course I didn’t want him to so a friend of mine came back in a taxi with me to make sure I was okay and away from him. He texted me many times apologising saying how much he loved me and how sorry he was. He later turned up at my house and my friend let him in and left as we believed he was truly sorry.

When we were alone he took my phone off me and started scrolling through my messages. He accessed my whatsapp account and read messages form a male from 2016, way before he and I had ever even met him I DID NOT CHEAT ON HIM. In his drunken state he believed these messages were from when we were together and this was when the beating began. I was honestly so shocked and absolutely terrified, I couldn’t believe what was happening, here was a man who I believed loved me so deeply no matter how snappy he was I never in my wildest dreams thought he would attack me. He punched me repeatedly till I fell to the floor after which he began to kick me continuously in the stomach and head. I have never been so terrified in my life I was in so much shock and intense pain. I managed to stand up and tried to leave my bedroom when shoved me down the stairs and again began brutally kicking me in the face, stomach and head. He then threw me down another flight of stairs when again on the floor he kicked and punched me. I was screaming and crying for help, blood splattering everywhere. I was trying to escape but he was grabbing me back not allowing me to leave.

I was screaming explaining that the messages were from before we met but he wouldn’t listen he was screaming out ‘you slag’ ‘you slut’ ‘you cheater’. I cried out ‘if you don’t stop you’re going to kill me’ and he just shouted back ‘I don’t care’. After a long hour( THIS WAS NOT A SHORT MISTAKE IT WAS A SUSTAINED ATTACK) or so inside my house being subject to this constant beating of which he showed absolutely no sign on slowing down, in fact he seemed to get even angrier, I managed to escape out the front door.

He ran after me (dressed only in his boxers), he grabbed and threw me to the pavement and continually kicked me in the head, stomach and face. Bare in mind he had kicked me so many times he had a bruise on his own foot. I was crawling on the pavement unable to walk screaming for help but he was still kicking me flat onto my face it was like once he started he couldn’t stop. Luckily a terrified neighbour called the police from inside her house.I have heard this phone call and she sounds absolutely petrified and you could hear me screaming in the background crying out of help.

I managed to get up and I tired to run away as fast as I could covered in blood and bruises. The police then arrived and arrested him. I had to go to hospital as I couldn’t think properly or remember anything and I was in intense pain. I was luckily enough to have great friends who stayed with me and looked after me after the attack and helped me get through it. I don’t know what I would’ve done had I been alone afterwards. I am so grateful to the girl who called the police without her I honestly believe he would’ve done some very serious damage or that I might not be here.

The aftermath- he was kept in jail till Friday, he pleaded guilty to ABH (as there are no broken bones) and was released on bail. On the night of his release he even posted a picture of him smiling with his friends at 4am showing absolutely no remorse for his actions. While I’m lying at home unable to move, sleep or eat, crying my eyes out for hours.

I really urge anyone who has a controlling, possessive or jealous partner to read this post and seriously think about whether you completely trust your them. You need to work out whether these characteristics could lead to something worse or whether it is worth being with someone who treats you like this. I had only been with this male officially for 3 months and he had never shown any signs or violence towards me. It can just take one drunken thought in their mind for someone capable of abuse to attack you.

PLEASE be so cautious if you feel your partner has any of these characteristics or if they have ever been violent to you before. I would never wish this kind of pain and torment on anyone it had been absolutely unbearable for me and my family. I have been in extreme pain since the attack and the thoughts going through my mind have been killing me.

Nothing in the world can justify this kind of behaviour and I hope that if you feel you are in the beginning or an abusive relationship that this will help you realise that the best thing you can do is leave as soon as possible. Just remember that somebody who is capable of this is not capable of real love, only sick, twisted, manipulation of your emotions. A person who is capable of abuse is a friend of no one and should be treated with serious caution and fear as you never know who their next victim may be.

Thank you for reading and I hope that I may be able to help people by sharing my story. Please share this if you think it could help you or someone you know.

  • Who Would Want To Be With A Single mum

Summer 2009, I was a 21 year old single mum with a 3 year old son who had severe autism. I had been single since my son was 3 months old- when me and his father broke up, he never really bothered again after that. I was fed up of feeling lonely and wanted to meet someone special so I decided to sign up to a dating website.

After a few days I got chatting to this lad, he seemed lovely. We spoke for a few weeks before deciding to meet. On our first date I met him at the cinema, he was so lovely. After the date we decided to meet up again and I couldn’t wait to tell my friends about it. I was so happy he seemed such a lovely man and so good looking.

Over the next month or so we went on a number of dates and decided we both liked each other and started a relationship. Every thing was good for a month, he met my family and my son. Everyone loved him, he treated me so well.

One night he called me and said if I still wanted to stay at his one night a week then I would have to start helping him pay his rent. I was so sad when he said this, I knew it wasn’t right but I did it anyway.

Not long after that I was at his when we got into an argument because he wanted to go out to a club and I didn’t. Next thing I know he got the newspaper, rolled it up and hit me across the face. Broke my glasses and I had a bruise on my cheek. I cried. He said he was sorry and foolishly I forgave him.

Everything was ok again for a few weeks before he hit me again. Over something minor, this time I ended up with a black eye . Again, I forgave him, covered my face with make up so no one could see. Things just carried on like this for a good year.
We were good then he’d hit me again and again he’d apologise I’d forgive him.

I never told anyone what he was doing to me, my family all loved him – thought he was perfect. I knew deep down what he was doing wasn’t right but I loved him and always thought ‘who would want to be with a single mum who had a disabled son’?

We had been together 18 months or so, when he was over at mine with me and my son. We got into an argument over messages on his phone, he was always cheating and I always knew it deep down but just tried to ignore it. I was sat on the sofa, my son playing on the floor. He launched over at me in front of my son and hit me repeatedly in my face and back. I was mortified! More at that fact my son had just seen what was happening rather than anything else. Again,  I forgave him. I stayed with him paying his rent amongst other things, forgiving him for being violent to me and cheating on me.

After we had been together 3 years, I was at his one night. We were in his room he said he was going to the kitchen to get some food. I thought he had left the room and saw his phone on the side. I decided to take a look but he hadn’t left. He was still stood by the door- watching me. I saw him and tried to joke about it. Laugh it off. Pretend that I knew he was standing there. Well, he definitely didn’t see the funny side. I was laying on the bed, he jumped on top of me, hit me over and over again. Put his hands around my neck and choked me until I was unconscious.
When I woke up, he was just standing over me staring at me. I was scared for my life. My phone was in my pocket, I quickly got it out and dialled 999. As soon as he saw me with my phone he threw it to the other side of the room. I was so scared. I didn’t know what to do. Blood was streaming from my nose and my whole body was so so sore. I just apologised, said it was all my fault and I should never of looked on his phone. He eventually calmed down and told me he forgave me and that I shouldn’t do that again.

As soon as he went back in the kitchen, I took my phone and my car keys and ran as fast as I could to the car praying he wouldn’t catch up with me. I drove straight to the police station where they called an ambulance. I was in hospital for 3 days, I was badly bruised and had two broken ribs.

I decided that day that enough was enough. I honestly thought he was going to kill me that night, I finally realised I had been so stupid and selfish. I felt incredibly guilty for letting my son see what he saw and felt like the worst mother in the world.

I told my family everything. They were so sad for me and were in complete shock. I think they felt guilty too because I didn’t let them know what was going on at the time, but it wasnt their fault. I was ashamed and embarrassed. Towards the end, I even thought it was normal.

I didn’t press charges which I still regret to this day. I’m not the same person I used to be before I met him. He drained the life out of me. 8 years on I still have awful trust issues and doubt a lot of things that anyone tells me.

Anyone going through the same – I know at the time it seems impossible, and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But please, tell someone. Leave before it’s too late. There is always someone out there who will listen and help you!! No one deserves to be treated like that!!

  • Domestic Violence-story-HELPLINE

    Living with domestic abuse…
In 2001 when I was 16 I met some one who I fell instantly In love with.

He was 6 years older than me, had a good job and was charming and good looking.
After a few months I moved in with him (he had his own house).

That’s when I found out he was into Cocaine.

Over the next year I managed to get him to stop using it, which was great.
Within a year of us being together I had several warnings from people about him, 2 were his ex partners.. telling me he was controlling abusive etc

Did I listen? Of course not, I was a 17 year old naive girl, who was head over heals in love!
End of 2003, he was out with friends, I stayed home, but at 10.30 I needed to nip to the shop, as I got back 10 min later he had just got home, he dragged me up the stairs calling me a whore and “he knew” where I had been.

That was the first time he became aggressive. Of course the next day it was “sorry” “love you” blah blah
Few months later we were both on a night out, one of my male friends from school was there, I hadn’t seen him for months and were talking about his mum and dad, well steven** didn’t like that, so when we got home, he hit me and told me to leave, I had nowhere to go, so refused, he dragged me in the garden and locked me out in my strap top and pants, my neighbour heard me, so I pretended that I had got my self locked out.
Surely by this point I should have left? But I loved him.
Over the next year small things happened, but then I found out I was pregnant. I was so scared. I wanted to leave but I didn’t have any one or any thing. So I stayed.
But steven** changed. He couldn’t do enough for me, told me he loved me every day stopped drinking.. could every thing be ok? I believed it could so we decided to start fresh.
**ethan was born in 2005. He was tiny but beautiful, and **steven was an amazing dad.

We moved house in 2006, then it started again, the names, a slap here and there.
In Aug 2007 we went out for his work Xmas party, his cousin was baby sitting

At 11 I wanted to go so he got his best friend to drive me home. He got home about an hour later. I was holding ethan* as he had woken upset. The next thing I know I was being dragged to the floor kicked and punched with my baby in my arms! Thank god ho cousin was there, she called the police, and he was arrested..

This last incident gave me the strength to leave because my baby was so very close to being hurt by him.
    I was heart broken .
10 years on I’m happily married with 3 more children to a man that respect me, loves me and would not even raise his voice. There ARE good men out there.
Remember, you may not feel strong now, but one day you will, there are decent men/women out there who are not abusive, who respect you, who will love you like you deserve!

  • How Mums Advice Saved My Life

The admin at Mums Advice don’t get enough credit, they are not mind-less robots just posting messages.

I thought I would share my story of how the admin team saved me and the members showed me hope.

So a bit of my back story 2014 I fell in love with the man of my dreams, every girls ideal man, tall, dark, handsome, hard working and popular.

It was a whirlwind relationship, I quickly moved away with him over 100 miles away from my family and friends but I didn’t mind…

    I was in Love

    I was happy

    I was in ore

    I was young

I was NOT safe although I didn’t know this just yet!!!!

He was so sweet, loving and kind unless he had a drink then he was jealous, controlling and verbally aggressive but I put this all down to the stress of his job and he wasn’t hitting me or raping me so it was ok (how stupid was I?)

Fast forward to 2015 I became pregnant and excited to meet my much wanted baby, obviously being pregnant I talked constantly about names, things I needed to buy, my feelings and talked to my bump.

My partner become jealous of OUR baby, he wouldn’t come to my scans or engage in conversations about “it”, he would shout at me and say all I cared about was “that thing”.

I should have left, I should have told my mum, I should have gone somewhere safe, but I loved this man, he was just nervous and scared to be a dad.

Ok so this is where Mums Advice comes in, August 2015 I was 6 months pregnant I was laying in the bath listening to music on my iPad late in the evening, my partner had been out with his friends down the local pub.

He came home drunk and burst into the bathroom and was raging, screaming that I was a dirty whore and that I was ruining his life.

He dragged me out of the bath by my hair, he was pounding down blow after blow on my head, chest and stomach.

I pleaded with him not to hurt our baby, I begged him to STOP, the blood was pouring from my skull, bits of my hair where in his hands, 2 of my teeth had been knocked out, it seemed there was blood everywhere, all i saw was red.

He had enough and walked out of the bathroom and sat against the door, I couldn’t get out, I couldn’t get help, I could hear him ranting to himself about how it was all my fault, how he wished I hadn’t trapped him, he was getting angry again, I knew it wouldn’t be long til he came back in and attacked me again.

My iPad yes I’ll use my iPad!!!

Do i message my mum? my sister? a friend?

But they will be asleep now and won’t see the message until it’s too late.

Mums Advice, I’ll message them, what have i got to lose, they are always there.

Within a matter of minutes they had replied, they had got my location, they had contacted the police, they had saved me!!!!

10 minutes later the police and a paramedic had arrived, He was taken away in hand cuffs and I was rushed to hospital.

I had bald spots on my scalp where he had ripped hair out, a broken jaw, teeth missing, fractured skull, numerous bruises, but I was alive and my baby was unharmed.

I cannot thank Mums Advice enough, the admins and the members who replied to my post with kind words, support and love and for rescuing me and my baby.

We now live with my mum and I have a happy healthy baby girl I urge any woman who is in a controlling or violent relationship to get out, to get help, to be brave for the sake of your children.

  • Domestic Violence GET OUT

I just wanted to share a bit of my Story hoping even if I help get one person out of this situation I will be over the moon!
About six years ago I finally got the strength to walk out on my now ex partner after over a year of abuse, i got talked down to on a daily basis and beaten at least once a week even when I was pregnant! Before anyone says I should have gotten away sooner

I agree with you I should have but until you’ve been in that kind of situation you really will never know how much easier it is said than done. I broken up with him for good when I was about 7 months pregnant, but he watched me 24/7 and still gave me abuse over the phone and got others to do the same.

When my little girl was six months old I dropped her off with my mum for the day and night, I went shopping for baby food and other bits and then had two drinks before heading home.

Long story short he had gotten into the building my flat was in and I remember nothing other than seeing him and reaching the top floor my flat was on.

I woke up in hospital getting stitches in my lips. As I was being taken to x-ray the nurse taking me asked me if I had been in a car crash!!

One of the police offers who came to talk to me the next day said he had seen less blood at a stabbing scene. The police got him but he was shortly let out on bail. I continued to get abuse by phone and he and other would hang around my flat block

On every occasion I rang the police he and his friends all denied it and give each other alibis he even tried to kick my door in and nothing got done. Eventually he got sentenced to 18 months in jail but got out in 9!!

The police later told me that he had been in prison for doing the same to pervious partners. They decided they wanted to nail him for everything he had done and we soon got court dates for our witness statements.

Fast forward four years!! The trial finally started on Monday! And finally finished today. There were about 15 witnesses four of which were ex partners. Four years of him sacking lawyers one after the other, four years of getting ourselves worked up for court the next day to get a call saying it wasn’t going ahead again an hour before you go bed! But I did it!! And if I can do it so can you!!!

If any Mummy or Daddy reading this right now are in ANY kind of abusive relationship I want you know you can do it! You are strong enough! You WILL cope and it WILL get better! And if it ever happens to go to court please don’t make yourselves ill with worry like me, it really wasn’t that bad! You are not there to be his/her punching bag or there for him/her to calling all the names under the sun!! Do it for you!!

    😘😘
