Father Shares An Important Message To All Parents
‘Not many of you know this, but our beautiful girl has been subjected to some awful bullying at school.
It’s been a very private 7 months for us, dealing with this, immediate family only.
In this age of social media, children ( because they are children) think it’s ok to send hateful messages (to me also along with their parents who won’t take responsibility)without consequences. I’ve had calls from these children calling me an old hag because I’ve defended our daughter, approached parents and pleaded with them to talk with their children and ask them to stop. I’ve even approached the children themselves, but been threatened by parents with harassment.
The department of education don’t expel children from schools for bullying as they say. “Every child is entitled to an education.”
What about our child’s entitlement?
She’s been sent home numerous times after self harming at school. She’s not allowed a pencil sharpener as she takes the blade out and cuts herself.
The department of education also told me. “You should teach your child how to be resilient against bullies.” Yes, they said that.
Our girl has had a video taken of her sitting at her desk at school, legs slightly open, with a lovely caption about the smell. It was posted to snapchat. I spent 90 mins with the police as they tried to determine if it was photographing and distribution of pornographic material. Yes, a 12-year-old can be prosecuted if the content breaches certain criteria. Sadly our daughters didn’t, but she was subjected to weeks of ridicule.
Repercussions? The girl who posted the video lost her playtime. The person who took the video? Nothing, because no one would tell who it was.
It’s ok to verbally attack at school because they can get away with it via a screen so think the same will happen in the real world.
Last week we spent over 5 hours in A&E with psychiatrists, doctors and nurses, because our girl “had a plan to commit suicide,”and on Tuesday I am in court applying for a protection order against a 12-year-old to keep her ( the bully) away from our beautiful girl. All because parents don’t accept responsibility for their children and schools can only do so much.
The school has a safety plan for the bullied child, our daughter and the bully? She only loses recess and lunch privileges. This is infant school punishment!
Please, in this awful age of social media (or anti social media as we call it) check your children’s messages. Their devices are a privileges, nothing more, nothing less, so please make sure they are being polite and respectful in their messages. Teach the children to ‘talk’ not use text or social media to air their differences.
Bullying affects the whole family, not just the bullied. It needs to stop and it needs to stop now!’

Man Who Sexually Assualted A Baby Gets Early Release
A North-east man who filmed himself sexually assaulting a screaming baby, then sent the video to his boyfriend was sentenced to 16 months in prison but was shockingly released after only serving 8 months.
Ryan Simpson, 29, admitted filming himself kissing and sexually molesting the screaming child before sending the video to his partner.
Simpson, also admitted possessing indecent images of children when he previously appeared at Elgin Sheriff Court.
The court heard he had been in a long-distance gayrelationship when the sexual assualt took place. When his partner’s home in the south of England was raided by police in the summer, Simpson’s video recording was discovered.
The court heard that police seized all the electronic devices in the property, including a Samsung tablet which belonged to his then-partner, discovering a sickening trail of child sexual abuse images and films.
A “category A” indecent video showing Simpson assaulting his victim was found. The infant was distressed and crying in the footage.
Officers later discovered text messages Simpson sent his partner at the time the sick video was recorded.
The court heard a message sent from Simpson to his partner after the video which read: “I didn’t have much time, or I would have done as I wanted.”
It also appeared he had been sharing them with friends in a social media chat group.
Simpson earlier admitted charges of taking indecent images of a baby, distributing those images, and of possessing indecent images of children, the phone also contained footage of a boy aged between four and six being sexually assaulted, as well as other Category B material. .
He also admitted sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13.
Having only been in prison for such a short time and his trail of sickening images it is likely he will offend again.

Teenagers Video Pleading For Help From Abusive Mum Goes Viral
This month , thousands of people have shared concern over a disturbing Facebook video showing a teenage girl showing handwritten cards claiming that a Georgia judge placed her back with her abusive mother. (Scroll down for video)
The teenager, Maddie Kelley, claims that her mum had beaten her badly enough to cause bruises and had hit her head against the wall she says she has been abused physically and emotionally all her life.
The disturbing video was originally into the Facebook page “Concerned citizens against Judge Grubbs Cobb County GA” in January 2016; the reasons for its renewed popularity in January 2018 are unclear.
.
Some Facebook users posted screenshots of what appeared to be a deleted post originally posted by the Adairsville Police Department in January 2016, stating that the child’s welfare officials and police had found the claims to be unsubstantiated:
A court in Cobb County, Georgia found that Mathew Kelley, the teenagers dad, had in fact encouraged Maddie to record and post the video, which he later said was “absolutely … a lie.”
The court also found that he had violated court-ordered parenting agreements in part by “aiding and encouraging” false allegations about Maddie’s mother, Dawn Kelley, to spread online.
Adairsville Police Department were asked whether there were any further updates, and they responded:
We appreciate your concern for the welfare of a child. The post everyone is concerned about is actually from 2 years ago. The allegations were unfounded at that time. Hope this can ease your mind about this. Thank you.

Meningitis-Know the facts
April 16th 2006 at 7:53pm my beautiful baby boy was born, i already had a nearly 3 year old daughter and now my family was complete.
It didn’t matter to me that once again I was single I had coped alone with my daughter and I will cope alone with them both.
We got into a routine quite quickly my son was feeding every 2 hours, would be awake for about 30 min and would sleep for the rest of the time I thought I had it made.Summer was fast approaching so one day along with my sister and some friends took our children to the park where there was a paddling pool as it was a really hot day. I didn’t think anything of my son sleeping all day as he still woke for feeds and nappy changes he was only 11 weeks old little did I know what the next 24 hours would bring.
The next day my son was still sleepy had been all night and was slowly taking less and less in his feeds so I went over to see my mum. We tried getting him to have water and he wouldn’t. His temperature was slightly high and at that point he started to scream a sound I will never forget. The more he screamed the hotter he became to the point my skin was red from holding him so I decided to call primary care as I knew in my stomach something wasn’t right.
The nurse on the phone told me to give him some calpol and gave me an appointment for a couple of hours time. I did as I was told but it didn’t help so I took him off to the hospital.
When we saw a gp he didn’t know what was wrong so sent us to the larger hospital in the closest city to get him checked out. I was petrified and all I could think of was he’s got meningitis and is going to die.He didn’t have all the symptoms not even a rash but I just knew it. We got to the hospital about 20 min later and the amazing staff took over. They gave him some calpol then we managed to get some liquid into him and after doing some test decided to take him for blood tests and a lumbar puncture.
When he came out the room with the nurse my worse fears were confirmed my son was covered head to foot in a purple rash even without the test results I knew and I had never been more frightened in my life.
A doctor took me to the parents room to talk as other Drs and nurses started treatment to save my son’s life telling me the next 24-48 hours were critical.
I genuinely don’t know how I managed to get through those hours sitting by his bedside seeing all these tubes coming of my son, not being able to cuddle and console him just praying that he made it through. I was offered a priest to bless him incase he didn’t make and I struggled not to break further.
12 hours after he was admitted my son opened his eyes and smiled as I called a nurse she took his temperature and noted it had come down a little. He wasnt feeding so had a drip in for fluids but for me that decrease was hope.
Over the next 24 hours the medicine was doing it’s job the rash not so strong and the temperature slowly coming down. After another 12 hours he had a feed- a real turning point and I knew he was going to make it.It was hard when the nurses changed his canula as he would smile and when I asked why the said “all he knew was pain and that’s the only human contact he can really have” that moment broke my heart . my son continued to get better and better defying the odds and 2 weeks later became an out-patient.
Nobody could believe that this 11 week old baby boy who was ready to be given his last rites was leaving childrens ward. It was 2 years before he was completely given the all clear. I now have a gorgeous, cheeky, happy and most importantly healthy 11 year old getting ready to start high school in september. Its true what they say “you don’t know how strong you are until it’s the only choice you have”
