  • Some Friends Are Only Interested In The Drama

    I posted a picture on my snapchat story saying that I felt low and 3 out of my large group of friends popped up asking how I was and 1 very special one went out of her way constantly ringing to make sure I was okay. I posted a picture on my snapchat a few days later saying karma is a bitch and within 5 minutes every single one of them asked who and what’s happened🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
    Moral of the story is everyone wants to know what’s going on in your life and the drama kicking off but soon as you genuinely feel at your lowest and need a friend they’re all of a sudden not there or busy or don’t even have the decency to ask how you are after seeing your post.

    Not everyone wants to ask for help, not everybody wants to come forward and tell their problems but asking someone if they’re okay can go a LONG ASS WAY.

    Pay attention to the ones who are there for you in your darkest moments they truly are the special ones✨

  • This Is Forty!!!

    This is 40.

    1) I cannot do the whole ‘no make up make up look’ now. I might feel like I’m a natural beauty but in reality I look like a Victorian child with influenza who probably won’t make it through a harsh Winter.

    2) Nightclubs are hard work. End of sentence.

    3) I can no longer get over a hangover by 11am using only the power of an egg butty and a mug of tea. I now need an IV drip, complete and utter silence and about 72 hours of lying on a propped up cushion like a proper dying person watching nothing more brain testing than a reality show about stupid fat arsed people being stupid and fat arsed in California.

    4) Moisturisers do not in fact stop nor even improve fine lines and wrinkles.

    5) My hips randomly click sometimes. See also; toes, wrists, knees, unpredictable sharp pains in torso for no apparent reason – leading myself to think “oh, this is how it ends then?”.

    6) Friends will cancel plans and it will no longer feel disappointing – it will feel fucking DELICIOUS. Night on the sofa with a pizza whilst watching the steely gaze of Paul Hollywood as he goes down on an eclair? Sign me up Papa John!

    7) Chin hair.

    8)It is forbidden to pass a neighbour washing their car without quipping “Want to do mine next?”. See also; “Can I fit in your suitcase?” and “It’s muggy isn’t it? Very muggy. Needs a good pour down. That’ll sort it”.

    9) What the fuck is Snapchat all about?

    10) Things that are my friend; Gaviscon, middle of the night water drinking, a great mattress, exfoliating and naps.

    Things that are not my friend; High heels, bread, sitting on the floor, Jägermeister and washing my fanny with anything even slightly scented for fear of a raging unbridled bout of thrush.

  • Father Shares An Important Message To All Parents

    ‘Not many of you know this, but our beautiful girl has been subjected to some awful bullying at school.

    It’s been a very private 7 months for us, dealing with this, immediate family only.

    In this age of social media, children ( because they are children) think it’s ok to send hateful messages (to me also along with their parents who won’t take responsibility)without consequences. I’ve had calls from these children calling me an old hag because I’ve defended our daughter, approached parents and pleaded with them to talk with their children and ask them to stop. I’ve even approached the children themselves, but been threatened by parents with harassment.

    The department of education don’t expel children from schools for bullying as they say. “Every child is entitled to an education.”

    What about our child’s entitlement?

    She’s been sent home numerous times after self harming at school. She’s not allowed a pencil sharpener as she takes the blade out and cuts herself.

    The department of education also told me. “You should teach your child how to be resilient against bullies.” Yes, they said that.

    Our girl has had a video taken of her sitting at her desk at school, legs slightly open, with a lovely caption about the smell. It was posted to snapchat. I spent 90 mins with the police as they tried to determine if it was photographing and distribution of pornographic material. Yes, a 12-year-old can be prosecuted if the content breaches certain criteria. Sadly our daughters didn’t, but she was subjected to weeks of ridicule.

    Repercussions? The girl who posted the video lost her playtime. The person who took the video? Nothing, because no one would tell who it was.

    It’s ok to verbally attack at school because they can get away with it via a screen so think the same will happen in the real world.

    Last week we spent over 5 hours in A&E with psychiatrists, doctors and nurses, because our girl “had a plan to commit suicide,”and on Tuesday I am in court applying for a protection order against a 12-year-old to keep her ( the bully) away from our beautiful girl. All because parents don’t accept responsibility for their children and schools can only do so much.

    The school has a safety plan for the bullied child, our daughter and the bully? She only loses recess and lunch privileges. This is infant school punishment!

    Please, in this awful age of social media (or anti social media as we call it) check your children’s messages. Their devices are a privileges, nothing more, nothing less, so please make sure they are being polite and respectful in their messages. Teach the children to ‘talk’ not use text or social media to air their differences.

    Bullying affects the whole family, not just the bullied. It needs to stop and it needs to stop now!’

  • SNAP CHAT WARNING

    Everyone needs to be extra careful now, especially with who you add on Snapchat and check your teenagers friend list! 
    Snapchat has introduced a new tracker update where you can view the exact location of your friends and family . It can give you the area, town, and street and if you zoom in enough, it shows the house on the street layout. 

    Update the app, go to zoom out when your camera is on selfie mode and you can view the exact location of any one of your friends, be extra careful and if you don’t want people to see where you are, go on ghost mode – it’s the best option!!! 

    I suppose it can be good if your parents have it so they can keep an eye on your whereabouts but it also means anyone can gain access to where you are.
