  • Tesco We Need To Talk About Your Sanitary Products

    Tesco!

I have been wanting to talk to you about something for a while but haven’t really worked out the best avenue to take and given the power of social media thought here would be best.

I wanted to ask you about 100% cotton, disposable sanitary products. Tesco has a great range of brands and products for female sanitary wear but unfortunately none of them are cotton. I am one of many that are very conscious of the chemicals and effects they can have on your body, that are in the brands you currently stock and sell.

I’ve been on a little mission recently, educating other women on the things they use every single month and how they can be irritating existing conditions and creating them. I’ve had a fair few converts already to the cotton train and more jumping on it all the time.

This post isn’t to put down what you already provide but instead to ask you to consider stocking a more natural brand. With boots currently being the only supplier that is the most accessible it’s quite frustrating that others aren’t following suit.

Do you think this is something you could consider?

  • Tesco Will Pay The Tampon Tax

Tesco is the first store to announce they will be paying the tax on nearly  100 feminine hygiene products.

Tesco will pay the controversial charge that applies to sanitary products after saying that the cost of buying the products was a “real struggle” for many of its customers.

Tesco said it will act immediately rather than wait for VAT on products to be scrapped

Tesco will cut the price of sanitary products by 5 per cent and cover the cost of the “tampon tax” itself, the large supermarket chain has announced.
