  • I Am A Woman So What?

    WHOEVER WROTE THIS

    SHOULD BE GIVEN AN

    AWARD!!!

    I AM A WOMAN!!!

    So what?

    I get into an argument

with a man, he slaps me,

I feel the pain, yet they

tell me I provoked him. I

    should have been quiet, I

    should have been patient.

    I should apologize to him.

    I get into an argument

with a man, I slap him,

they tell me I have no

    respect, no home

    training. I should have

    been quiet, I should have

    been patient. I should

    apologize to him.

    Because I am a woman, I

don’t have a right to be

    angry. So, the degree of

    my innocence is directly

    proportional to the

    degree of my silence in

    the face of oppression

    and brutality…..

    Because I am a woman,

    my husband cheats on

me, I am told to tolerate it

    to save my marriage. The

    barbaric and stupid

excuse is that ”it is in

    their nature to cheat, I

    should slim down, dress

    better, cook better, pray

    harder and be more

    pleasant to him”

    I cheat, and I am called a

    whore, I have committed

    an abomination, I have no

    right to look elsewhere

    for the love and

    emotional support I lack

    at home, I am an

    irresponsible mother.

    So I am sent packing,

    from the home we both

    built, with all my earthly

    possessions stuffed into

a tiny box on my head. I

    am henceforth forbidden

    from seeing my two older

    children, I’m lucky to be

    allowed to go with my

    little one still suckling on

    my left breast. Three

    years later, the little one

    is tagged a bastard. Now,

    my new name is “after-

    three”, because I am a

    woman.

He is 28 and runs a

    company. He’s tagged

    wonderful, hardworking,

    focused, career oriented,

    successful at a very

    young age.

    I am 28 and I run a

    company “Hmmmm….

    she is not even married,

    unserious, can not order

    her priorities right, a

    hustler, loves money, let

her go and get a husband

    oh”

    And I wonder if being

    successful has anything

    to do with a person’s

    gender.

    Because I am a woman,

I am not allowed to have

wits or be a prodigy, I

    cannot be financially

    buoyant, professionally

    successful or be treated

    with respect without a

    man beside me.

    Then I am tagged a

    generous leg opener, “a

    runs girl”. They never see

    the possibility that I

    actually had to go

    through ups and downs

to get to where I am,

    because I am a woman.

A man looses his wife to

    death and remarries a

year after, he did the right

    thing, he’s being praised

    and congratulated for

moving on, after all life is

    for the living.

    A woman looses her

    husband to death and

    remarries after 4yrs,

    “aaah! so early? Are u

    sure she wasn’t sleeping

    with that man even when

    her husband was alive?

    That was why she killed

    her husband. She’s a

    witch! Because she’s a

    woman.

    Because I am a woman,

    this post will be

    considered controversial,

    and everyone will try to

    correct me. But don’t

forget, that I am a woman

and it does not make me

    less human!!!

    Share to respect some

    woman and Tell your

    woman that you love

    her

    : *Who is a

    woman?????*

    When she is quiet,

    millions of things are

    running through her

    mind. When she stares at

    you, she is wondering

    why she loves you so

    much in spite of being

    taken for granted. When

she says I will stand by

you, she will stand by you

    like a solid rock. Never

hurt her or take her for

    granted. A very heart

    touching message by a

    woman. Someone asked

    her, Are you a working

    woman or a housewife?

She replied: Yes, I am a

    full-time working

    housewife. I work 24

    hours a day. I’m a Mum.

    I’m a Wife. I’m a

    Daughter. I’m a Daughter-

    in-law. I’m an Alarm

    clock. I’m a Cook. I’m a

    Maid. I’m a Teacher. I’m a

    Waitress. I’m a Nanny.

    I’m a Nurse. I’m a

    Handywoman. I’m a

    Security officer. I’m a

    Counsellor. I’m a

    Comforter. I don’t get

    holidays. I don’t get sick

    leave. I don’t get day off. I

    work through day and

night. I’m on call all hours

    and get paid with a

    sentence. “What Do U Do

    All Day??” This Is

    Dedicated to all

    women*** A Woman has

    the most unique

    character like salt! Her

    presence is never

    remembered, but her

    absence makes all the

    things tasteless. Pass it

    to all the lovely ladies…Ur

    Mother. Ur Wife. Ur

    daughter. Ur sister & Ur

    friend.

    Forward to every woman

to make her smile and to

    every man to make him

    realize a woman’s worth.

  • This Tiny Woman Doesn’t Fit The Image Of A Fearless Military Hero

She stands precisely 5ft tall in her everyday shoes and her smile is disarmingly sweet.

Kate Nesbitt doesn’t immediately fit the image of a fearless military hero, not off the battlefield at least.

But there are probably few people a critically injured soldier would rather meet in the chaos of a desert gunfight than this 21-yearold blonde in full flight.

Bravery: Kate Nesbitt receives the Military Cross from the Prince of Wales during investitures at Buckingham Palace in London. And the sight of her sprinting through an Afghan war zone under heavy machine gun fire is almost certainly one that Lance Corporal John List will remember for the rest of a life he now owes to her astonishing display of courage

Kate, a medical assistant serving as an Able Seaman with the Royal Navy, raced 70 yards to the stricken soldier’s side as he nearly choked to death from a gunshot wound to the mouth. She cut open a temporary airway and treated him for 45 minutes as rockets whizzed overhead and bullets thudded into the ground nearby.

Yesterday her ‘inspirational’ bravery was rewarded at Buckingham Palace when she became the Navy’s first woman to be invested with the Military Cross. Then, with a few modest words, she underlined the remarkable spirit of loyalty that bonds Britain’s servicemen and women on the front line. ‘I promised my friends and comrades I’d be their medic,’ she said. ‘I promised I’d be there if they ever needed me. They needed me that day – so when the call came, that’s just what I did.’

Kate, from Whitleigh, Plymouth, stepped into the history books as only the second woman to be awarded the MC, one of Britain’s highest gallantry awards, as well as becoming the only MC Wren. Presenting her award, the Prince of Wales bowed to what he called her ‘extraordinary’ heroism.

Her citation read: ‘Under fire and under pressure her commitment and courage were inspirational and made the difference between life and death.’

  • Don’t Let Your Kids Act Up

I picked my son up from his fathers today. He was grounded from his tablet before he went because I am no longer taking his attitude. I don’t know about other parents of six year olds, but the way he has been talking to me over the past 4-6 weeks is inexcusable and will not be tolerated anymore.

I had told him that if he was well behaved tonight, he could have his tablet back tomorrow.

We had a talk not only today on the way home, but multiple times over the weekend about how his bad choices had consequences. He was warned that he was going to have 3 strikes: tablet goes, then the tv goes, and then it’s the bedroom for the rest of the day.

Not even the first hour of being home, the attitude started. By attitude I mean dictating what he is and is not doing, not listening, telling me no, yelling at me, etc. I told him he was not getting his tablet back tomorrow. Then a few minutes later, the next attitude outburst came. TV is now taken away. 2 strikes. Then it was the 3rd attitude outburst. So now my son is eating dinner in his bedroom and afterwards will be in his bed staring at the ceiling for the rest of the evening. He needs to learn.

I’m not posting this to shame him. I posting this in case there are any other parents that are going through the same and doubting themselves. YOU ARE A GOOD PARENT. YOUR CHILD IS A GOOD KID. But they need to learn while they are still little because it’s even harder to teach them as they get older.

Before we know it our children are going to be young men and women and I sure am not letting my son into this world thinking it’s okay to act however he wants. I refuse to let my son be disrespectful to anyone. I refuse to let my son do as he wants instead of following the rules.

  • Why Do You Pay So Much For Your Kids To Do Sports?

“One of my friends asked “Why do you pay so much money for your kids to do all their sports”? Well I have a confession to make; I don’t pay for my kids to do sports. Personally, I couldn’t care less about what sport they do.

So, if I am not paying for sports what am I paying for?

    – I pay for those moments when my kids become so tired they want to quit but don’t.

    – I pay for those days when my kids come home from school and are “too tired” to go to their training but they go anyway.

    – I pay for my kids to learn to be disciplined, focused and dedicated.

    – I pay for my kids to learn to take care of their body and equipment.

    – I pay for my kids to learn to work with others and to be good team mates, gracious in defeat and humble in success.

    – I pay for my kids to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don’t get that placing or title they’d hoped for, but still they go back week after week giving it their best shot.

    – I pay for my kids to learn to make and accomplish goals.

    – I pay for my kids to respect, not only themselves, but other players, officials and coaches.

    – I pay for my kids to learn that it takes hours and hours, years and years of hard work and practice to create a champion and that success does not happen overnight.

    – I pay for my kids to be proud of small achievements, and to work towards long term goals.

    – I pay for the opportunity my kids have and will have to make life-long friendships, create lifelong memories, to be as proud of their achievements as I am.

    – I pay so that my kids can be out on the track instead of in front of a screen…

…I could go on but, to be short, I don’t pay for sports; I pay for the opportunities that sports provides my kids with to develop attributes that will serve them well throughout their lives and give them the opportunity to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen so far I think it is a great investment!”[the_ad id=”83723″]

  • Strong Woman Still Need To Be Loved

    STRONG

When they see you as a strong woman, they think that you do not need anything or anyone, you can bear everything and will overcome whatever happens. That you do not mind being listened to, cared for or pampered.

When they see you as a strong woman, they just look for you to help them carry their crosses. They talk to you and they think you do not need to be heard.

A strong woman is not asked if she is tired, suffering or falling, if she has anxiety or fear. The important thing is that she is always there: a lighthouse in the fog or a rock in the middle of the sea.

The strong woman is not forgiven anything. If she loses control, she becomes weak. If she loses her temper, she becomes hysterical.

When the strong woman disappears a minute, it is immediately noticeable, but when she is there, her presence is usual.

But the strength that is needed every day, to be that kind of woman, does not matter to anyone.

Honor, recognize, respect and thank the strong women in your life, because they also need to be restrained, loved and feel that they can rest.

  • Who Are The Parents? You’re Failing At Parenting

I witnessed something shocking last night around 10.30pm in Colchester, Essex, that sums up how bad our society is becoming. A group of 14 yr olds set upon a young boy, and as you would expect, his father came out to disperse the little shits. All 8 of them then set about the father and kicked and punched him to the head, and while he was down, the girls then proceeded to kick him in the face while he was down.

3 of us ran out to his aid and dispersed these idiots, who then wanted to take us on. We helped the guy into the recovery position and called the police.

The worst of the group were the foul-mouthed girls who I would have been ashamed to have called my daughter.

The question is .. Who are the parents ? The ultimate failures, the ones that take no responsibility for their children.

Well I wonder how proud they feel this morning, and everyday of their failed parenting ?

I hope the Parents of these disgraceful kids get exposed, and begin taking some responsibility. In the first instance, wondering where their 13 and 14 yr olds are at 10.30 at night !!

What is the world coming to when Children are showing no respect to anyone. Bring back corporal punishment, it never did my generation any harm, in fact it demonstrated there were unpleasant consequences for your actions. Something that is clearly absent from young people’s lives these days.

When I was young we wouldn’t have dared to even talk back to an adult let alone physically and verbally attacked someone, had we been caught doing something we shouldn’t have, just the threat of them telling our parents stopped our antics.

Parents are failing children, is it really that hard to discipline your children, to teach them right from wrong and give them some damn consequences for their actions.

  • Parents Of Children In Dance Classes Read This

One of my friends asked “Why do you pay so much money and spend so much time running around for your daughter to dance ?” Well I have a confession to make: I don’t pay for my daughter’s dance lessons. Or her pointe, Jazz & tap shoes. Or her hundreds of costumes.

So, if I am not paying for dance , what am I paying for?

    – I pay for those moments when my girl becomes so tired she feels like quitting but doesn’t..

    – I pay for the opportunity that my girl can have and will have to make life-long friendships.

    – I pay for the chance that she may have amazing instructors that will teach her that dance is not just about movement but about life.

    – I pay for my child to learn to be disciplined.

    – I pay for my girl to learn to take care of her body.

    – I pay for my daughter to learn to work with others and to be a proud , supportive, kind and respectful team member.

    – I pay for my child to learn to deal with disappointment, when she doesn’t get that score she hoped for , or fell during a move she has practiced a thousand times, but still gets up and is determined to do her BEST next time…

    – I pay for my girl to learn to make and accomplish goals.

    – I pay for my daughter to learn that it takes hours and hours and hours and hours of hard work and practice to create a champion, and that success does not happen overnight.

    – I pay so that my daughter can be in the studio instead of in front of a screen…

I could go on but, to be short, I don’t pay for dance; I pay for the opportunities that dance provides my child to develop attributes that will serve her well throughout her life and give her the opportunity to bless the lives of others. From what I have seen for many, many years, I think it is a great investment!
