  • Primark Sizing Problem “Solved”

    Chelsea Webster has shocked Facebook users with a revelation about Primark clothing.

    How many people have gone to Primark picked up their size and then tried it on and it is unbearably tight, it is not a nice feeling thinking that you have gained extra weight, it can be a complete confidence low, so you try on the next size and it is still a little tight so you end up having to buy a size you never thought you would be in.

    Well Webster has discovered a reason behind this she said  “So I got these jeans from primark 3 weeks ago! In a size 12 moaning that they were tight! And to my shock Iv gone to wear them today and the first labels coming off but saw another underneath and there’s a 10 label, so no wonder us girls don’t know whether we coming or going if primark doesn’t!!!! surly that’s wrong to re label sizes forever fat”.

    Many people commented on the original post saying they had experienced similar issues with Primark clothing, Sarah Pincher checked some of her buys from Primark and also discovered an extra label.

    Some people were offended by the post stating that size 12 is notfat and that Webster as wrong to state that.

    However if you have to buy clothing a size up from the norm, it can make you feel larger in your own eyes.

    Can you buy your correct size of clothing in Primark or do you also have to buy a bigger size?

  • Primark Candle Risk of Fire

    A lady named Jenny Ferneyhough has taken to Facebook to warn others about primark candles and the high risk of fire.

    This is a candle I bought in Primark Manchester for £5 on Saturday. I am concerned that it poses a risk to the safety of anyone who owns one, and I have emailed Primark suggesting they recall them. In the meantime, I would be grateful if we could spread the word so that no one is put at risk by this. #primark

  • Product Recall

    You will all be familiar with the Cedar Wood range at Primark. 

    The Cedar Wood flip flop range includes mens flip flops in Black, Khaki and Blue, and were released at the beginning of the summer season on June 2nd 2017.

    The flip flops were confirmed to be contaminated with a chemical called chrysene, which has been found to cause cancer.

    As a result, Primark have suspended all production of the product and have launched an investigation into how such a toxic chemical has found its way into this product. 

    They are also offering a full refund to customers who have purchased the flip flops – but our guesses are this is not the main worry of customers, instead the worry of cancer instead of the thought of losing out on a few quid!


  • Are These Shorts Inappropriate?

    So summer is here, and many of you are updating your children’s wardrobes. 

    Like myself my child has out grown or quite frankly ruined their old clothes.

    This one mum popped into Primark the discount store to purchase her daughter some shorts.

    I popped into primark to get some shorts for my 2.5yr old. This is the choice I had. None of these would cover her bum. I know the fashion is fit short shorts but surely young children need something to cover their bums?

    Do you feel these are too short?

     Many mums jumped on the band-wagon and agreed with the lady.

    One lady said 

    I have this problem with my daughter. She recently went on her residential trip with boy’s shorts.

    However there were mixed answers some felt that they weren’t that bad 

    This lady said:

    I think they look worse on the hanger than in real life? My little girl has the light denim type ones on the left and they definitely cover her bum, plus some!

    What’s your views?
