  • Old Age Pention Is Not An Entitlement

PLEASE PASS THIS AROUND, UNTIL EVERY ONE HAS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO READ IT… THIS IS SURELY SOMETHING WE ALL NEED TO THINK ABOUT!!!!

THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH THE GOVERNMENT’S CALCULATION OF AVAILABLE PENSION IS THAT THEY FORGOT TO FIGURE IN ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DIED BEFORE THEY EVER COLLECTED OLD AGE PENSION.

WHERE DID ALL THAT MONEY GO?

Remember, not only did you and I contribute to our Pension, our employer did, too. It totalled 15% of your income before taxes.

If you averaged only £15 000 over your working life, that’s close to £220,500. Read that again. Did you see anywhere that the Government paid in one single penny?

We are talking about the money you and your employer put in a Government bank to ensure that you and I would have a

retirement pension from the money we put in, it was not money that the Government had any right to spend elsewhere.

Now they’ve started to call the money we paid in an

‘entitlement’ when we reach the age to take it back.

If you calculate the future invested value of £2500 per year

    (yours & your employer’s contribution) at a simple 5%

interest (that’s less than what the govt. pays on the money that it borrows from overseas), after 49 years of working you’d have

    £892,919.98.

If you took out only 3% per year, you’d receive £26,787.60 per

year and it would last better than 30 years (that means until you’re 95 if you retire at age 65) and that’s with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit!

If you bought an annuity with the money and it paid 4% per year, you’d have a lifetime income of £1976.40 per month.

THE CROOKS IN GOVERNMENT HAVE PULLED OFF A BIGGER ROBBERY THAN THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERS EVER DID.

    Entitlement!!??

My foot !! IT’S MY MONEY!! I paid IN cash for my pension.

Just because they borrowed the money to spend on other things, that doesn’t make my pension some kind of charity or handout!!

    Remember MP’s benefits? —

    free healthcare,

    outrageous retirement packages,

    67 days paid holidays,

    three weeks paid holidays,

    unlimited paid sick days.

Now that really should be called welfare entitlements, yet they have the nerve to call my O A P retirement payments entitlements?

We’re “broke” and the government can’t help our own OAPs, our ex-service personnel, our orphans or our homeless

Yet in the past few years we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile, Turkey, India, Pakistan, etc., etc., etc. Literally, BILLIONS of Pounds !!!

But they can’t help our own citizens!

Our retired seniors living on a ‘fixed old age pension have to beg social services to receive additional aid, while our government and religious organizations pour hundreds of billions of £££ tons of food to foreign countries!

They call the old age pension an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives, and now, when it’s time for us to collect, the government is running out of money.

Why did the government borrow from it in the first place?

It was supposed to be in a securely locked box, not to be used as part of the Government’s general funds.

Sad, isn’t it, that some people won’t have the guts to forward

this. I’m in the category with guts enough to do it – – – and I just did.

I hope some of you will do the same.

  • PIP Payment Is Going To Kill Me

Well the government have done brilliantly on this decision to make everyone who receives pip (personal independent payment ) local government have decided if you are entitled to enhanced rates they will be taking £9 this year towards your care package plus what ever else they decide.

For example they asked me to contribute £12.56 Jan 2019, in April 2019 they said no you don’t pay enough so it’s going up to £17.56 but just had a letter informing me that I now have to pay from July 22nd 2019 £50.06 all of these amounts are weekly so my choice is eat once a day and die quicker because I won’t survive without the help.

I have complexed disabilities which I pay for lots of extras on top of normal utility bills etc I live alone so single income of employment support allowance and personal independence payments housing benefit and council tax support but I also get bedroom taxed and pay towards my council tax I am in a mess and no appeals can be made about the amount I have to pay even though it states on the letter if you have extra payments for items you can ask for it to be taken into account.

They were called today and they stated no appeals but the letter states different so confused fed up scared not looking forward to the future I already have a rare lung disease which is not treatable only manageable but it is progressive so nobody knows how long I have or what the future holds I have been in intensive care 4 times this year so far it’s disgusting making disabled feel responsible for the cost to each local government

  • An Open Letter To The Father Who Won’t Pay Child Maintenance

A single mum’s letter to her ex has gone viral and it highlights an all too common issue…

“An open letter to the father who won’t pay child maintenance…..

Any child maintenance payments made by you to me do not pay for my holidays. I don’t use YOUR money to pay for my clothes, and your payments certainly don’t fund my minor prosecco addiction. Your hard-earned cash doesn’t help me pay my gym membership or go into my savings account. (Which doesn’t exist.)

So when you stalk my Instagram and Facebook and see me making the most of my child-free weekends with friends – rest assured I am funding this. In the words of Destiny’s Child, ‘The shoes on my feet, I bought em – I depend on me, if I want it.’

Let me spell this out for you – any money you pay to help with the raising of our children goes directly to our children. I’ve got two jobs to fund my own lifestyle and pay for our children. It’s a simple concept you don’t seem to be able to grasp.

So you’re barking up the wrong tree when you bitterly tell me I should maybe “go out less” when I challenge you over your child maintenance payments.

So, what should child maintenance payments cover?

I admit, it goes towards my mortgage – the house which puts a roof over our children’s heads for 11 nights in 14. Their home. It also helps with the associated costs of running that home. I hope you will agree, they need a home.

What are the consequences of you not contributing towards their home? Let me tell you, it could result in us needing to find a cheaper home, in a less desirable area, and without a doubt mean a change in school.

Your money helps to put clothes on their backs, it contributes towards the laundry powder used to wash said clothes. It pays towards their school uniform which is down to me to purchase, and the school trips which I fund.

The money pays towards their swimming lessons that I take them to, which you’ve never showed up to, because I want them to have that life skill, it pays for our son’s football coaching and matches. (He’s doing well by the way, you really should take the time to come and watch him – he would be amazed if you turned up.)

It helps pay for their birthday parties with their friends which your wife won’t let you attend because even after all this time she’s still jealous of you and I being in contact.

It also buys the birthday presents, and thank god I do, because on our daughter’s fifth birthday, despite having her for two hours after school, you didn’t give her yet one single present. Imagine if I’d done the same as you that day – she wouldn’t have got anything for her birthday.

Your money helps to keep our children in Clarks shoes, because their feet blister if I buy anything cheaper. It pays towards childcare, or did you think nursery was free when I used it one day a week so I could work? Do you think after-school clubs are free?

You should take a walk in my shoes one day and you will see your cash is key to providing the lifestyle our children deserve.

So, what Child Maintenance should you pay?

The law requires a non-resident parent to pay 12 per cent of your gross weekly income if you have one child and 16 per cent of your gross weekly income to the resident parent if you have two children. All I ask for is what this Government says non-resident parents should pay. Nothing more, nothing less. And realise it’s not my rules.

That’s it, 16 per cent. So it’s not going to leave you short is it? It’s not going to de-home you from your five bedroom house. I wish I could pay 16 per cent of what I earn and have it cover an all-inclusive rate for everything my children need and want – wow I’d be rich. You see I spend pretty much every penny I earn on our children.

I know that not paying, not paying on time, or not paying the correct amount is the very last bit of control you have over me. You must feel so powerful when you hold it back for five days, because you can and there’s nothing I can do about it. What man you are.

Unlike a credit card, you continue to choose to not properly pay for our children a) Because nobody knows and b) because the Child Maintenance Service (CMS) are so useless they aren’t even worth bothering with.

It’s too easy to hide with the CMS. Non-resident parents can either run their own business/become self employed and hide any dividends or, work cash in hand so they can keep it all.

You’re actually very cunning, because you do pay – to the penny – what the CMS order you to pay, so on paper you can “prove” you pay towards your children’s upbringing “properly.”

If I ever mention it you simply say “I pay what the CMS tell me to, end of.” You’ve got yourself covered – but you and I both know that’s not the full story.

The CMS order you an amount to pay based on the amount YOU have declared to them – but the small wage you pay yourself is not a true reflection of what you actually earn. You’re just so clever – exploiting a loophole to financially abuse our children.

I bet I receive a lot more money in maintenance than many other single parents, some would be grateful of what I receive, but why should our children have 16 per cent of a false income, made up by you, when they’re entitled to more?

I speak on behalf of all single parents when I say this simply isn’t good enough, the current UK system isn’t good enough. MPs need to wake up and do more to give the CMS better powers to financially investigate non-resident parents.

It’s a problem which affects thousands of single parent families, one many feel they can’t do anything about, but one I’m not prepared to let go. I am fighting this for our children, not for me.

You also refuse to talk to me about it or answer my letters about it. So if you’re wondering why I’ve resorted to this, that is why. If only you would treat me like a human being and actually have a conversation with me about our children’s needs. You’ve had plenty of requests, even via solicitors.

All I’m asking is that you properly declare your full earnings to the CMS, so the toothless organisation can inform you of the correct amount to contribute, and that when they do, you pay that amount on time. Not difficult.

The British Government gives our children more financial support then you do. Think about that for a moment.

No matter what happened between you and the woman you once loved enough to father two children with, you still have a financial responsibility towards your children. Just because you hate me, don’t make them suffer.

Dear father who won’t pay child support, you’re useless and I don’t know how you live with yourself. All I know is that I am trying to provide a life which is similar to what they would have had if you and I had not split up. It’s not their fault we couldn’t live together.

You failing to pay is just another parenting fail. It’s just as bad as failing to turn up to our son’s Christmas play after promising him you would be there. It’s on a par with refusing to take our son to his much-loved football on YOUR weekends, it’s just like making our daughter stop her dance class on the day you have her.

    The list goes on.

I don’t expect you to do the right thing. You are a rubbish father. Luckily, they have me” – Single Mum Still Standing

  • I Pay My Rent In A Way That Leaves Me Sobbing

I am a lone parent to three beautiful children, Jenny, Angel and Johnny, their father left me 10 months ago for a woman he met at the gym, he walked away and hasn’t seen, spoken or financially supported his children.

We were living in a rented house and I was granted income support and housing benefits plus disability payments for my Jenny who has autism and ADHD, but the housing payments didn’t cover all the rent, the only advice the housing officer gave me was to find somewhere cheaper to live.

Each month I was £75 short to cover the rent, no matter how much I budgeted or cut back I could never get all th money together, my landlord Richard come over and threatened me with eviction, where would we go if we lost the house? Jenny had only just gotten into a very good special needs school, she was settled and happier than I had ever seen her.

All my children were still struggling with their father leaving them let alone having to move out of the only home they had ever known, possibly having to change schools and make new friends, I couldn’t do that to them.

How would I be able to afford to move, I would never be able to get a deposit together, there are very few council properties available let alone one to fit me and 3 children in, changes are we would have been placed into a hostel or bed and breakfast, not somewhere I would want to raise 3 small children.

I had no choice but to offer my body to my over weight middle-aged stinking landlord, he obviously accepted, every week on a Friday lunchtime he knocks on my door and I service his needs, I feel sick to my stomach every time I see him, I cry for ages after he has gone.

A mother will do anything for her children and this is what I have to do, if there was another way to stay I would do it, but at the moment I am stuck, I am used, I am trying to be the best mother I can be.

  • Government Screwing Over The Disabled

A man named Vince Paul Rodgers took to Facebook to express his upset and disgust with his wives disability payments being stopped.

    Rodgers said:

*Please share the life out of this*

To all who know me and know my wife Julie, the Government have in their wisdom taken Julie off her employment and support allowance due to an oversight on my behalf and now has been given her P45 to start looking for a job/work.
Julie is a tetraplegic due to hypoxic brain damage and can’t do anything for herself. Julie will be attending the job centre on Monday morning after the miracle worker has been and rid her of her disabilities.

    * for some who are wondering what my oversight was it is as follows………… I received the letter asking for Julie to attend an interview……….I put that letter in a safe place and on the morning of the interview I forgot all about it, I received a letter to explain why she didn’t attend, so I told the truth and said that I had forgotten, they sent out a reply stating that they were not accepting my reason and removed Julie from her benefit, I appealed for the decision to be changed and a new interview to take place, yesterday I received there reply that they were sticking to the original decision and removed Julies benefits. *
    * update – update – update *

Julie and I attended the Job Centre this morning with a reporter Rochelle Hughes from Selby Times, I take my hat off to the staff and manager at Selby job centre after seeing Julie was unfit for work they managed to get in touch with the DWP to resolve the matter in hand, in a nutshell they have reinstated Julies benefits, but Julie still has to do a face to face interview/Assessment with the powers to be to see if she’s still able to work 😳😳😳, awaiting the appointment letter now.
