I’ve debated on sharing this, just because it’s so embarrassing and I failed as a mother on so many different levels. But….. I think it needs to be said, if only to serve as birth control for the younger generation. Fair warning…. TMI AND POOP! 😂
Today after I picked up Sadie from school we went to the flood wall so I could run and they could play at the park afterwards.
After my run, I’m sitting at the picnic table, exhausted, drenched in sweat, watching my babies play, vowing to join them as soon as I rest up. At one point Sadie goes down the slide and then walks in front of me and I see “wet” shorts. I think, “okay she’s peed out of her diaper, no big deal.”
I go get her to change her and the closer I get the the more clearly I smell that it’s not pee. Still, not a big deal, what’s a poopy diaper? 🤷🏻♀️
Then I start to change her and I realize it’s a poop-trophe. 😳 I’m talking one of them poops you usually see in a newborn, where it’s all up then back and down their legs and you contemplate just throwing the whole baby away. 😬
Still…. I’m not panicked…. been there, done that, multiple times. 😏
I get a diaper and wipes, the wipes feel light… 😬 I start cleaning her up and there’s only FOUR wipes. This isn’t a four wipe kind of poop it’s pressure washer or open fire hydrant kind of poop. So I start looking for more wipes in the van. At this point, Sadie’s just standing there naked in an empty (thank God) the parking lot, with poop up her back in her hair, down her legs to her knees, even on her shoes, because taking her clothes off did not go as smoothly as one would hope. 🙃

I turn my back, frantically searching for more wipes. Nothing. I had just cleaned out the van yesterday. I got out any and all extraneous wipes, clothes, everything. I KNOW there’s no other wipes in there, but I search anyway. Then I hear it…. that painful SQQQUUUEEEAAAKKKKK of skin getting stuck to a plastic slide on the way down. I look up and yes, of course, it’s Sadie. 🤦🏻♀️ She’s going down the slide, butt naked, COVERED in poop, leaving a long skid mark of poop allllllll the way down on her way.
At this point I just give up. I chase down Layla, wrap Sadie in a blanket and buckle them in their car seats and leave. 🤷🏻♀️
But wait, ✋🏼it gets better….. 😂
Leaving the poop there was not an option, first of all it’s poop, gross and needs cleaned up regardless. But second of all, Arionna is home deathly ill with a stomach virus (I think). What if Sadie’s getting that virus? There’s no way I’m leaving my kids slug trail of possibly contagious feces on this playground so some other kid can get sick. We live maybe 5 minutes from the park, so I rush home grab Clorox wipes, that are conveniently on my porch because I had used them yesterday to clean a few parts on the van, then rush back.

We get there and there’s still no one else at the park. I park on the gravel right by the slide, leave the van running with the a/c on, leave the babies buckled in, and go to clean the slide and rails.
Easier said than done. 😐
I got the bottom and the main top easily, but the middle of the slide I could not reach. I tried to climb up it, but was unsuccessful. Keep in mind I’m REALLY out of shape and just ran a mile and a half. It’s 90 °, I’m WEAK, uncoordinated. To say I was struggling would an understandment.
Eventually, I get the brilliant idea to go down the slide and wipe as I go. Instead of risking a head injury I decide to go down feet first, on my stomach, holding on to the side to slow myself down with one hand and wiping with the other. This was not easy. I did not look elegant or attractive, I’m sure. I’m 254lbs of sweaty fat flopping around this children’s slide like a fish out of water. 🙄
When I get to the bottom, I’m finally satisfied with my cleaning job. I turn and see a car parked, a family, all of them with glaring at me…. I dunno how long they were there. I never heard them pull up. They never got out of the car. I genuinely think that we’re afraid of me, after all, I was an overweight seemingly childless adult, on children’s playground equipment. 😂😬🤷🏻♀️😩
Anyway, now dying of embarrassment, I rush to throw away my wipes and get in the van. I look down and realize there’s poop all over my shirt. Of course, I went down feet first. My clothes got the bulk of the poop. 😐
I am NOT getting that on my seat belt.
If You Aren’t Prepared To Roll Around In Another Person’s Faeces… Use A Condom
I am not getting a ticket or dying from not wearing a seat belt, no matter how short the drive.
So,….. I do the only thing I can think to do….. I drive home in my bra. 🙃🤷🏻♀️ That family is scarred for life I’m sure… 😩
We’re all home now; we’re alive, showered, traumatized, but okay. 😂 moral of the story? Always bring extra wipes, extra clothes, extra blankets, extra everything! 😂 Don’t clean out your car, ever. 😂 And if you aren’t mentally, emotionally, and physically prepared to roll around in another person’s faeces… use a condom. 🙂🙃😂 You’re welcome! 😂
I just wanted to tell you the trouble I have had with your nappies. Firstly, your nappies have been brilliant, I have had no leaks and they fit my baby really well. They also are reasonably priced compared to leading brands.
BUT, why put the animal crabs on your nappies? I am now faced with embarrassment when I change my baby’s nappy especially in public changing rooms. My toddler thinks it’s great you have chosen the animal crabs, and finds it great to go around saying “Violet got crabs”, “Violet got crabs in her nappy” and also “Mummy gave Violet crabs in nappy”. (Direct quotes from my 2 and a half year old) You can only begin to imagine the funny looks I have received 🙄. You could have chosen any cute fluffy animal to put on your nappy, but you chose the crab 🦀. Have you thought about changing the animal for future nappies?
Thank you for the embarrassment and I look forward to hearing a response,
Chris Boneyard Mau has taken to social media to rightfully complain about the lack of changing facilities in the gents toilets.
Chris said “I’m getting pretty sick of having to change my daughter on a disgusting floor because the only changing table in the place is located in the women’s bathroom. It’s crazy to imagine I know but there are guys who take care of their kids too you asshats. If it’s a public place with public restrooms in the generation of equality among genders and races then how about making sure us fathers can change our children’s diapers on a goddamn changing table like the mother’s can. Am I asking too much?
The circumstances of the situation left very little options for privacy, I had taken her for a walk when this happened so there was no car and the only counter space was a 3 inch gap between the 2 sinks”.
Surely there should be changing facilities in all public toilets, there is often changing tables in the disabled toilets but not in all areas, times need to change, men should be able to change their childs nappy in a safe and clean environment.

“To the mum who’s breastfeeding: Way to go! It really is an amazing gift to give your baby, for any amount of time that you can manage! You’re a good mum.
To the mum who’s formula feeding: Isn’t science amazing? To think there was a time when a baby with a mother who couldn’t produce enough would suffer, but now? Better living through chemistry! You’re a good mum.
To the cloth bum mum: Fluffy bums are the cutest, and so friendly on the bank account. You’re a good mum.
To the disposable nappy mum: Wow those things hold a lot, and it’s excellent to not worry about leakage and laundry! You’re a good mum.
To the mum who stays home: I can imagine it isn’t easy doing what you do, but to spend those precious years with your babies must be amazing. You’re a good mum.
To the mum who works: It’s wonderful that you’re sticking to your career, you’re a positive role model for your children in so many ways, it’s fantastic. You’re a good mum.
To the mum who had to feed her kids from the drive thru all week because you’re too worn out to cook or go grocery shopping: You’re feeding your kids, and hey, I bet they aren’t complaining! Sometimes sanity can indeed be found in a white bag with a big red chick on it. You’re a good mum.
To the mum who gave her kids a homecooked breakfast lunch and dinner for the past week: Excellent! Good nutrition is important, and they’re learning to enjoy healthy foods at an early age, a boon for the rest of their lives. You’re a good mum.
To the mum with the kids who are sitting quietly and using their manners in the fancy restaurant: Kudos, it takes a lot to maintain order with children in a place where they can’t run around. You’re a good mum.
To the mum with the toddler having a meltdown in the cereal aisle: they always seem to pick the most embarrassing places to lose their minds don’t they? We’ve all been through it. You’re a good mum.
To the mums who judge other mums for ANY of the above?
Is the new Easy on nappy pants for wriggly babies advert inappropriate?
The seemingly harmless advert shows a baby crawling away from its mother with a normal nappy on, which is falling off as baby crawls, on goes the video displaying a mum placing the easy on nappy, she rubs her finger around the top of the nappy and then slowly places her index finger inside of the nappy rubbing and touching he child buttocks, this is intended to show the stretchy material and the freedom of movement for the infant.
However some woman don’t like the advert and feel that paedophiles and sickos may get turned on or have sick ideas when they view it, one woman added that it may cause people to become aroused and act out their inner darkest wants after viewing this advert.
Do nappy adverts have to show the mother or the father rubbing around the private area, fingers dipping into the nappy and touching of children’s genital area and slow motion of rubbing of skin?
One man said that anyone who sees this advert as anything other that a marketing scheme or an innocent baby crawling around needs to seek out therapy
Please view the video now what you think about it, do you feel it could have been done better without the finger in the nappy perfectly okay the way it is.

A woman has defended a man after he was shamed out of a parents’ room in an Australian shopping centre.
According to a witness Mikaa Ives the man was trying to change his son’s nappy when another mother walked over to him, accused him of being a “sicko” and ordered him to leave. “There was a dad in the middle of changing his son’s nappy, already having a difficult time with his son not wanting to be changed,” Mikaa Ives wrote on a local parenting Facebook group page.
The woman allegedly accused the father of “staring at her naked kids” and threatened to call security.
“The lady piped up and started abusing the dad for being in the parents’ room: ‘It’s only for mothers, get out you sicko’, literally saying she would call security and say he was staring at her naked kids if he didn’t leave the room,” Ives said.
“He picked up his son who mind you didn’t even have a clean nappy on yet and went to stand outside the door.
“His son was hysterical and he’s just saying ‘its okay mate, we’ll go back in there soon.”
Ives, who was disgusted at the woman’s behaviour, walked over to the father and told him to come back inside and finish putting a clean nappy on his child. She said if the other woman called security she would back him up. “At this point I thought f*ck this, told the dad to come back in and finish changing his son, told the lady that if she wanted to call security to go ahead because I would 100 per cent back the dad up,” she wrote. “Old mate finished changing his son, thanked me and off he went. “I was absolutely shocked that the poor bloke felt he had no choice but to leave like she said … I was BEYOND disgusted.” Ives went on to say that the mother in question wasn’t even changing her children – she had just gone into the parents’ room to check her phone while her kids played. “ITS A PARENTS ROOM NOT A F***ING MOTHERS ROOM. If you’re one of the people who act like that when a dad is simply changing his child, then I suggest you stay the f*** away from the PARENTS room,” she vented on Facebook. The shopping centre website refers to its “parent rooms” being equipped with a microwave, lounges, change tables and toilets. More than 300 people have commented on the post with a number of fathers revealing they’ve had similar incidents happen to them. “Happened to me twice now. Thank goodness my little boy is out of nappies now,’ one father shared. Another wrote: “I’ve had security called on me for taking my daughter into a parents’ room to change her nappy. Security basically told her to pull her head in as I was clearly changing a baby.” “I’m a dad n copped the same when ever I had to change my son’s nappy. Didn’t move just told them to [do] whatever they needed to do to feel better about themselves,” one dad wrote. “When someone kicks you out of a parent’s room you literally have nowhere to go with your children, it’s good to know that there are people out there who care.”
Only last month we ran a story on Mums advice in regards to “little angel nappies”.
Well it appears Asda didn’t fix the issue and anther innocent baby has received chemical burns.
Sarah Rose took to Facebook and said
This is what I woke up to this morning! I just want other parents to be aware, the nappy has now been sent for testing because it is thought Ava has had a chemical reaction to this batch of nappies and the nappies are contaminated. One batch of Asda nappies have apparently been recalled and I am waiting to hear back from Asda.
This dad named Jordan Bartliff has taken to Facebook to warn others.
So Saturday yesterday morning has to be the worst day of our lives so far, we opened a fresh pack of newborn little angels to put on the baby, we go to change the nappy an hour later, and these pictures are the results. And NO he’s not allergic to them, that’s been ruled out.
It looks like a chemical reaction As confirmed by the hospital, As he’s been wearing the same nappies for 3 weeks prior to this. With no problems whatsoever. I don’t normally put personal stuff on Facebook but as it’s happened to such an innocent little life at 3 weeks old the day it happened who bearing in mind is 5 weeks early, who is now needing oxygen through a machine because of this.
I wouldn’t want it happening to any other little soul, so please be vigilant and careful with these nappies as it obviously is a bad batch.
We swore by these nappies and use them with our first born before anyone starts saying their children wear these all the time so do mine. Were heartbroken words cannot explain how we feel right now Please share this to make other parents aware. Thankyou.
