Is It Easier To Be Vegan Compared To Eating Meat
[the_ad_placement id=”before-content”]
Is it easier to be vegan compared to eating meat, dairy and eggs?
My thoughts:
“it is much easier to eat meat and drink milk”
It is not easier for the animals that are gassed to death or shot.
It is not easier for the animals cramped up in trucks going towards the slaughter-house, for many the only time in their short life they see the sun.
It is not easier for the slaughterhouse workers, who kill hundreds of animals per day, and who suffer from stress and psychological problems because of it.
Or the male chicks dying a painful death being gassed to death just after birth because of that no one can profit from them.
Nor the fish who suffer from being dragged up and who suffer dying in the nets.
It is not easier for the humans and the animals who lose their home when the Amazons is destroyed to make land for soy plantations to feed cows.
It isn’t easier for everyone who suffers from obesity or die of heart attack due to arteries clogged by eating a lot of meat, dairy and eggs.
We can easily get all nutrients we need on a balanced plant-based diet. You can get B12 from meat, but to say that it is easier than ordering B12-supplements isn’t true.
It is much easier to choose life in the supermarket, rather than closing your eyes to all misery, suffering and death that the animals went through to be reduced to meat, dairy, eggs, fish and honey. Choose life and freedom for everyone, step out of paying for this violence. It is much easier to be vegan for everyone and for you.

Why The Kebab Is Harmful To Human Health
WHY THE KEBAB IS HARMFUL………..
The kebab, is of Arab origin but now widespread throughout Europe, is actually harmful to human health
The kebab, become a food quick meal for many Europeans, contains the ingredients that we often ignore : it is made up of meat lungs, intestines, tongue, eyes, scraps of butcher, teeth, bones, salt and animal fat. It seems the ingredients are taken from a recipe book of some witch!
In every city of Europe are millions of people who consume kebab daily , completely ignoring that it may be dangerous to your health.
The one who spread this Turkish fashion, who began by exporting it to Germany, was Mahmut Aygun and in the seventies he became the promoter of this food on our continent.
Initially, in the Arab countries where the kebab was born, it was considered basic rustic dish of meat, it was considered to be very fresh and nutritious, because of the fact of its accompanying vegetables and sauces. Instead, unfortunately, the Doner Kebab, was exported to us, rolled up in flatbread and there is nothing nutritious. The appetizing flavour is the result of a long process of meat with non-quantifiable amounts of animal fat and spices, which are there to deceive the palate. This is the trick of the good “looks” is very often used in a variety of fast food, which with a high presence of fat on the palate, induce a feeling of tasty flavour.
A team of scientists and nutritionists in England conducted research on the subject – kebab, here are a few percentage:
• over 50% of the kebab contains cast-off meat that is not chicken or calf as indicated, but the result of a mixture with different meats, especially between sheep and pig;
• in 9% of cases it was not possible to clearly identify the origin and nature of the meat used in the shredding;
• Chapter SALT: a kebab contains between 98% and 277% of that which is the acceptable daily amount for a human being. Beyond this limit the person’s health is definitely at risk;
• a single kebab and unseasoned contains between 1,000 and 1,990 calories ;
• the amount of saturated fat assimilated during one day is far exceeded by the presence of these fats kebab varying between 148% and 346%
• in most kebab analyzed were found bacteria such as Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus
To all this must be added preservatives and chemical additives that allow the preservation of the product for months and months, in addition to being subjected over this long period, to freezing and thawing !

Being A Vegetarian Ruined My Childhood
So my parents always did what THEY thought was right, but being a vegetarian ruin my childhood.
Now you may think ruined is a bit extreme but I genuinely feel it did, let me explain why.
School was a nightmare whilst my friends all had tasty delights in their packed lunches or got to eat shepherd pie or lasagna from the school canteen, I was left with chick peas, a vegetarian cold pasta dish and fruit.
Now okay that’s not completely terrible some of the meals were very tasty but as a child when friends had birthdays and brought in cakes or sweets the teacher would always have to check if I could have it, this caused me great embarrasment.
Soon my friends began noticing how different I was, going to a friends party and having to bring my own food I soon got nicknamed “Carrot”, “Rabbit” and “freak”.
I stopped being invited to parties, my mum was always so vocal about me being a vegetarian and soon other parents didn’t want the responsibility of monitoring me and making sure I wasn’t sneaking sausage rolls and pizza slices.
I craved to be normal, I wanted to eat the food my friends ate, I didn’t want to read labels, I didn’t want to be different.
I pleaded with my parents to allow me to eat normally but their beliefs were too strong.
I found myself craving meat, and would often steal from my classmates lunch boxes, even go so far as steal from my local village store.
My whole existence was thinking about how I could get more of the tasty delights which were forbidden, and how I could escape my family and life.
By the time I was a teenager I was seriously depressed, self harming and my education was failing.
At age 16 I hadn’t passed a single Gsce, I had no friends and no life, I left my parents home and slept on the streets.
Homeless but happy, I found myself on them cold dark streets, I vowed to be a better me.
A charity called Shelter (http://www.shelter.org.uk/ ) helped me get a bed sit, I found work and eventually found love.
Fifteen years later I am the proud father of two, I let them make their own life choices and have never been happier.
I rekindled my relationship with my parents for the sake of my children but I cannot forgive them for pushing their beliefs on me, so yes being a vegetarian ruined my childhood.
