  • Do You Know Where The Original Little Mermaid Comes From

    Friendly reminder that The Little Mermaid is based on a book by Hans Christian Andersen published in 1837 where “Ariel” has her tongue ripped out in exchange for feet (feet that bleed the entire time she’s on land, btw).

    She comes on land to try to win the prince’s love in order to steal part of his soul (mermaids apparently don’t have souls, but live for 300 years, so I guess you win some, ya lose some). She fails, and the prince marries someone else. She contemplates murdering him in his bed, but can’t bring herself to do it, so she dies/melts into seafoam.

    By the way, her skin is green.

    There. Now I’VE ruined your childhood, and you can stop complaining about/debating the casting choice of a Disney remake about fish people, and start worrying about the fact that our president is a fucking moron and ruining our country, people still aren’t vaccinating their children, and there are children in cages at our southern border.

  • Dear Teacher Please Look After My Baby

    Dear teacher

    I know you’re rather busy

    First day back, there’s just no time

    A whole new class of little ones

    And this one here is mine

    I’m sure you have things covered

    And have done this lots before

    But my girl is very little

    She hasn’t long turned four

    In her uniform this morning

    She looked so tall and steady

    But now beside your great big school

    I’m not quite sure she’s ready

    Do you help them eat their lunch?

    Are you quick to soothe their fears?

    And if she falls and hurts his knee

    Will someone dry her tears?

    And what if no-one plays with her?

    What if someone’s mean?

    What if two kids have a fight

    And she’s caught in between?

    You’re right, I have to leave now

    It’s time for her to go

    I’m sure she’ll learn so much from you

    Things that I don’t know

    Yes, I’m sure they settle quickly

    That she’s fine now without me

    I know she has to go to school

    It’s just so fast, you see

    It seems like just a blink ago

    I first held her in my arms

    It’s been my job to love, to teach

    To keep her safe from harm

    Mums advice have recently been contacted by a concerned father whose baby has been hurt by LITTLE ONES NAPPIES BY SAINSBURYS.

    Mr.Alan Jackson has done some digging a discovered he is not alone.

    Jackson told Mums advice “I recently posted on “baby deals UK group ” regarding a severe reaction my baby has had to sainsbury own brand nappies ,after several hundred replies (mostly people saying similar ) a lady posted a link to a similar situation involving a baby who had to be admitted to hospital and a bad batch of these nappies being sold .

    No sooner had I read it the post was removed and deleted.

    So as a warning I am posting the batch number to the nappies we purchased in case anyone else has similar problems.

    It has just been confirmed from one parent that sainsburys are aware of this issue with their nappys at of the end of October and began an investigation yet these nappys are still for sale !!!

    Stevie Jones posted about these exact nappies all the way back in April, yet nothing has been done to take these nappies off of the shelves.

  • We Swore By These Nappies-Parents Warning

    This dad named Jordan Bartliff has taken to Facebook  to warn others.

    So Saturday yesterday morning has to be the worst day of our lives so far, we opened a fresh pack of newborn little angels to put on the baby, we go to change the nappy an hour later, and these pictures are the results. And NO he’s not allergic to them, that’s been ruled out.


    It looks like a chemical reaction As confirmed by the hospital, As he’s been wearing the same nappies for 3 weeks prior to this. With no problems whatsoever. I don’t normally put personal stuff on Facebook but as it’s happened to such an innocent little life at 3 weeks old the day it happened who bearing in mind is 5 weeks early, who is now needing oxygen through a machine because of this.


    I wouldn’t want it happening to any other little soul, so please be vigilant and careful with these nappies as it obviously is a bad batch.

    We swore by these nappies and use them with our first born before anyone starts saying their children wear these all the time so do mine. Were heartbroken words cannot explain how we feel right now Please share this to make other parents aware. Thankyou.
