  • What’s Going On With Our Nursery Rhymes

WHAT’S GOING ON WITH OUR NURSERY RHYMES 🤭

Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are,

Well actually I don’t because I’ve just sang that you are a star. You can’t be a diamond in the sky because you are a STAR

In fact you are probably not even a star anymore, you probably burnt out years ago.

If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands.

But if you clap your hands every time you are happy, you are gonna look well weird, and if you’re not sectioned then someone may throw you a fish.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,

All the kings horses and all the kings men,

Hang on a minute. An egg falling off a wall is now a matter of national security. They got nothing better to do? No wonder our country is going down hill if we are crying over a cracked egg that should have been in the bloody fridge anyway, not sitting in the sun on a wall. Salmonella!!

Hickorie dickorie dock, the mouse ran up the clock,

Well call the pest control if you have mice running round your house. So unhygienic especially with kids.

Three blind mice, see how they run, they all run after the farmer wife, who cut off their tails with a carving knife …

So many things wrong here, firstly how do they know the mice are blind. I wasn’t aware there was ophthalmology for rodents and if they are running after someone in particular then they must be able to see her.

And if said mice were blind, then why would you cut their tails off too. Double whammy. There has to be some sort of animal rights protest about this. And note to self, don’t have a roast that the farmers wife has made unless she’s cleaned her knives.

The Grand old Duke of York, he had ten thousand men, he marched them up to the top of the hill and he marched them down again.

Great! So when our soldiers are called to war, all they will know how to do is march, they will probably be knackered, but they could answer some questions on positional language of a hill. Screwed.

Old King Cole, Was a merry old soul,

    And a merry old soul was he;

    So was he drunk?

    He called for his pipe,

And he called for his bowl,

And he called for his fiddlers three!

And every fiddler, he had a fine fiddle,

And a very fine fiddle had he.

I have no words, this is so inappropriate, this guy would well have been arrested and questioned.

Incy wincy spider climbed up the water spout, down came the rain n washed the spider out.

The end. The spider drowned. And if it didn’t I’ve just walloped it with my shoe, so it Defo won’t be climbing anywhere again

  • These Snowmen Are Inappropriate

It had been snowing all night. So at ….

    8:00 I made a snowman.

8:10 A feminist passed by and asked me why I didn’t make a snow woman.

    8:15 So, I made a snow woman

8:17 My feminist neighbor complained about the snow woman’s voluptuous chest saying it objectified snow women everywhere

8:20 The gay couple living nearby threw a hissy fit and moaned it could have been two snowmen instead

8:22 The transgender person asked why I didn’t just make one snow person with detachable parts

8:25 The vegans at the end of the lane complained about the carrot nose, as veggies are food and not to decorate snow figures with.

8:28 I am being called a racist because the snow couple is white..

8:31 The Muslim gent across the road demands the snow woman wear a burqa

8:40 The Police arrive saying someone has been offended

8:42 The feminist neighbour complained again that the broomstick of the snow woman needs to be removed because it depicted women in a domestic role

8:43 The Government equalities officer arrived and threatened me with eviction

8:45 TV news crew from the BBC shows up. I am asked if I know the difference between snowmen and snow-women? I reply, “Snowballs” and am called a sexist.

9:00 I’m on the News as a suspected terrorist, racist, homophobic sensibility offender bent on stirring up trouble during difficult weather.

9:10 I am asked if I have any accomplices… My children are taken by social services

9:29 Far left protesters offended by everything are marching down the street demanding for me to be beheaded

Moral: There is no moral to this story. It’s just the world in which we live today and it’s going to get worse.

  • Is the new Easy on nappy pants for wriggly babies advert inappropriate?

Is the new Easy on nappy pants for wriggly babies advert inappropriate?

The seemingly harmless advert shows a baby crawling away from its mother with a normal nappy on, which is falling off as baby crawls, on goes the video displaying a mum placing the easy on nappy, she rubs her finger around the top of the nappy and then slowly places her index finger inside of the nappy rubbing and touching he child buttocks, this is intended to show the stretchy material and the freedom of movement for the infant.

However some woman don’t like the advert and feel that paedophiles and sickos may get turned on or have sick ideas when they view it, one woman added that it may cause people to become aroused and act out their inner darkest wants after viewing this advert.

Do nappy adverts have to show the mother or the father rubbing around the private area, fingers dipping into the nappy and touching of children’s genital area and slow motion of rubbing of skin?

One man said that anyone who sees this advert as anything other that a marketing scheme or an innocent baby crawling around needs to seek out therapy

Please view the video now what you think about it, do you feel it could have been done better without the finger in the nappy perfectly okay the way it is.

  • New Netflix Cartoon Is Sick And Not Suitable For Children

    To the people at Netflix,

One of your trailers came across my Facebook newsfeed today that has left me enraged. With a constant stream of news, shares, posts, and pictures, it is easy to keep scrolling, passively taking it all in. But, the content of this video is so obscene and deeply troubling to my spirit that, as a parent, I simply cannot remain passive about it.

What is it you may ask? It is the Netflix produced cartoon series entitled Big Mouth that is slated for release on September 29, 2017. Like most mothers, my first thought was, “How bad can a cartoon be?” Well, how naïve I was! Ten seconds into the two-minute trailer aimed at our sons and daughters entering puberty turned my stomach in ways I have never felt before. It was repulsive.

Those two minutes were filled with the most sexually perverse content I have ever seen. The stars who voice the characters on this show, which is being marketed as a “raunchy, coming-of-age comedy,” say themselves that it is “filthy.”

Whoa! Guess what Netflix? I have a coming-of-age teenager and you have just stepped on this mama bear’s toes. Now, listen to me roar!

Your creative team who sat around the drawing board while sharing their personal stories of teenage sexual dysfunction (which I read was the inspiration behind the storyline) will not cast their dysfunctional, moral corruptness onto my children’s young, impressionable minds. Your twisted and warped humor is not funny. It is dangerous.

Do you know that images are branded into our consciousness? Yep, I bet you do. In fact, you are probably banking on it. What goes in through our eyes can never be unseen.

You, dear Netflix, with 100 million subscribers, have a moral obligation to protect the eyes of the innocent. Instead, you create programs like this that are full of debauchery and hedonism with the high hopes that these images will imbed themselves into the curious minds of children, gaining you loyal customers for life. Capture them in a dark bedroom while their parents are busy. When asked what they are watching, they’ll reply, “Just a cartoon.” Pretty sneaky of you.

You have sunk to the lowest common denominator with this one. Your widely popular, suicide-glamorizing 13 Reasons Why gave me much pause and concern; this one slams on the brakes.

You have already stolen the imaginations of our children. A whopping 80% of Americans younger than 35 have a Netflix subscription. The average child between the ages of 2 and 18 streams 1.8 hours of content per day. That’s 650 hours per year! Contrast that with the four to seven MINUTES spent playing outdoors per day. Kids watch services like yours 15 times as much as they play outdoors. Stop and chew on that for a minute.

To you, Netflix, and all the other time-wasting, mind-wasting video platforms out there, you have, in one fell swoop, redefined childhood. Yes, despite being a gatekeeper in my home, I’m guilty of allowing you in. I’m guilty of thinking your weak parental controls are sufficient enough. I’m guilty of allowing my children to get sucked into binge-watching you. I’m guilty of throwing you in their faces so that mama can have some peace and quiet to complete other tasks. But, I thought you were innocent.

No more! I will make it my goal to reclaim the time that you have stolen and to encourage the imaginations that you have stifled. My children have already been without you for 40 days and I’m sorry but not sorry to say you have not been missed. Even if I were entertaining the idea of turning you back on in moderation, you have just given me ample reason not to.

Netflix, you have shown yourself to be the pusher of an agenda that I do not want my family to be any part of. You operate in the gray area where anything goes. If you are willing to go to this level of lewdness, where will you stop? Sadly, I don’t think there is a limit.

You say, “When parents are going through their family’s entertainment spending, we want them to feel great about their Netflix bill.” Well, unless you CANCEL THIS SHOW and can all the other vile and noxious projects in your pipeline, you won’t make me feel “great” even if you give me this service for free. If you do not heed the message of this letter and the tsunami of backlash you are about to receive from all my mama bear friends, then, I’ll just warn you–Get ready

  • Do Not Let Your Child Have This App

If your children have this app please be aware!!

My 9 year old daughter came running down the stairs tonight in absolute tears.

She has had the app Alimas baby 2.

My daughter had been on a 2 day long school trip and returned home earlier this afternoon, after her evening meal and bath, she asked if she could spend sometime on her tablet before bed.

Within 10 minutes of being on her tablet she came down stairs really upset, all she kept saying was she had hurt a baby, she should never become a mum.

I didn’t understand what she was talking about, I know she has a child lock on her YouTube so can’t watch anything inappropriate.

Once she had calmed down she showed me, I was shocked!!!

This is a children’s game, this is totally wrong and has scared my child.

If you do not feed your virtual baby, it begins to starve, its ribs sink in and eventually it dies, you can also release a ghost to scare the baby whilst it’s alive.

  • Is This Doll Inappropriate?

Would you be upset/offended if you bought a Doll like this and it didn’t have a warning on the box?

    Scroll down for picture

American Shoppers and Internet users alike were surprised to discover the You & Me Mommy Change My Diaper Doll at Toys “R” Us – a doll made anatomically correct for a male baby.

In response to the doll, some Facebook users have called the toy inappropriate and unnecessary for kids.

Others have joked that it’s a unique way to end a “gender reveal” party.

Some parents simply requested that the manufacturer put a warning label on the box.

Now I know my daughter has numerous dolls with male and female genitals and don’t personally have an issue with it, but what’s your view?

Would you buy it knowing it had this?

Would you have liked a warning before hand?

    Is it inappropriate?

    Let’s hear your views

  • Are These Shorts Inappropriate?

So summer is here, and many of you are updating your children’s wardrobes.

Like myself my child has out grown or quite frankly ruined their old clothes.

This one mum popped into Primark the discount store to purchase her daughter some shorts.

I popped into primark to get some shorts for my 2.5yr old. This is the choice I had. None of these would cover her bum. I know the fashion is fit short shorts but surely young children need something to cover their bums?

Do you feel these are too short?

Many mums jumped on the band-wagon and agreed with the lady.

    One lady said

I have this problem with my daughter. She recently went on her residential trip with boy’s shorts.

However there were mixed answers some felt that they weren’t that bad

    This lady said:

I think they look worse on the hanger than in real life? My little girl has the light denim type ones on the left and they definitely cover her bum, plus some!

    What’s your views?

    Are they inappropriate?

    Too short?

    Let’s hear your option
