  • How To Dye Your Childs Hair

    Anyone with young children wanting to keep them entertained during this horrible time 😔

    🗒All you need is coloured tissue paper

    👧🏼Part the hair into as many sections as you want

    🍵Put the tissue paper into blows of hot water (let them cool a little before you put there head near the bowls)

    🍵👧🏼Put hair in the bowls leave for 5 minutes

    🌬Towel dry then blow dry or leave to dry naturally

    🦄Then you have yourself a rainbow unicorn

    This trick is safe to use on children and those with damaged hair, since it is only temporary.

    The amount of time the colour will stay locked in depends on your hair.

    If your hair is in better condition, it may last longer.

  • As A Child I Was Not Allowed To Express Myself

    As a child I was not allowed to express myself with hairstyles, makeup, or even clothing.. I never felt comfortable in myself because there was always something missing.

    My hair wasn’t soft and silky like other girls so I felt dirty.
    My skin was freckled and darker so I didn’t feel pretty.
    My teeth were crooked so I didn’t like smiling.

    As a parent now, I have tried my hardest to allow my girls to express themselves within reason, even if others might think it’s “too much”.

    You want to wear a Batman mask to dinner at Applebee’s?? Do it.

    That Easter basket can totally be a hat. So wear it on your head. You look beautiful.

    Yes, capes are acceptable in the morning because capes are just awesome.

    And yes, you can have dreadlocks if that is what makes you more comfortable because your hair isn’t soft and silky like other little girls.

    I’m raising kids. Kids who want their creativity to be appreciated.
    I’m raising girls who shouldn’t feel conformed to society’s standards of what is acceptable or “normal” if it’s not normal to them.
    I’m raising women who will shatter the ceilings of the boxes they are told to fit into.

    I’m raising little warriors and they deserve to feel as such.

    And they don’t worry about their crooked teeth because they are smiling with the happiness that comes from being accepted and heard.

    True story from a blonde Mum.

    In a hurry, no time for full shower b4 going out but as its really only the hair that needs washing, i quickly grab *my* shampoo and proceed to wash my hair over the bath tub, only realising half way through that it doesn’t smell like mine but the kids. OH WELL, ITS A 3 IN ONE – shampoo/conditinor & INCLUDES NO TEARS!

    BOLLOCKS!!!!! The pain of trying to brush my hair took me back to my childhood. When I was 100% sure my parents where trying to take my head off with the brush. The tangles in my hair nearly broke my hairbrush and the stream of tears was unbelievable!!!

    Moral of story – slow down, read bottles and SUE company for lying and taking me back to pains of the past!!!

  • Serious Risk If Your Hair Stands On End

    So.. the most craziest thing happened to us today, we went to our local beach to let the boys try out their new wet suits, we new we wouldn’t be staying long as there was a storm brewing. As Alex and I were walking to catch the boys up we both felt really strange, I looked over at Alex and his hair was standing on end and so was mine, even the hairs on our arms.

    We shouted over to the boys who had reached the sea at this point and both of their hair were also standing on end. The thunder started and we decided it wasn’t safe for us so we started running back towards the car, as I lifted my hand over my head there was a really loud crackling that even Alex heard, we were really freaked out. Whilst we were sat in the car we saw two massive lightening bolts strike right where we had been previously standing!

    We googled all the things we experienced and were so shocked to find out how much danger we were actually in, and actually feel very stupid now for not knowing! So just thought I’d spread the awareness in case there’s other stupid people like us 🙈

  • Hair Grooming Syncope Is Scary

    I experienced one of the scariest moments of my life this morning with my little sister and I am going to put this out there because I had never heard of this in my life!

    Hair-grooming Syncope…

    Look it up. This morning I was curling my little sister Gracie’s hair for church. I was maybe about five minutes in and she starts to gag a little and looks kind of pale. I asked her if she was going to get sick and she shook her head yes. I get my little daughters out of the bathroom and start to hold her hair up for her as she leans over the toilet. 30 seconds later… she looks at me. She is extremely pale with blue lips and starts to pass out.

    Her pupils got really big and I caught her. I start screaming for Dale to come help. Gracie has a blank stare and look on her face and is completely unresponsive and limp for about a minute. Her hands were also shaking. Very seizure like. She then comes back to and says she feels much better. She says she remembers hearing us talk but couldn’t see us. I was crying. She was very confused. My mom and dad rush to my house and a few hours in Children’s hospital, an EKG, and a head scan later… she is fine.

    Turns out there is something called hair-grooming syncope affects kids from ages 5-13. They said they see about 1-5 cases a year. Turns out brushing, curling, braiding, or drying can cause nerve stimulation on the scalp and cause some children to have seizure like symptoms. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE! We were told if she ever starts to feel nauseous or light headed while getting her hair brushed to sit down and take a break. I am putting this out there for others to see. If a kid ever complains of their belly hurting or feeling light headed while they are getting their hair done, make sure they take a seat and keep a close eye on them! Apparently very rare but so scary to see it happen!

    1. A clean penis is very important so wash your penis with warm water at least twice a day. Clean the scrotum and under the penis shaft gently and scrub your scrotal sack too.

    2. Leaving too much hair around the penis is not cool.

    During sex,the hair can cause cuts on the vaginal organs and condom.

    Also, hair around the base of the penis can be breeding ground for boils and cause bad odour so shave or keep it short and clean.

    3. Don’t pamper the penis too much, As soon as you notice an infection, boil, rashes, please get help immediately.

    4. Many guys wear one boxer for a whole week or even a month but for health reasons pls change your boxers everyday.

    Dirty boxer may give your penis a permanent bad smell and a bad taste.

    5. Guys what you eat affects the taste of your semen or penile juice.

    Avoid too much garlic, onion, alcohol,coffee and spicy foods.

    Eat fruits that are high in natural sugar like oranges, apples, mangoes and please take honey too.

    They all make your sperm taste good to feed the egg for a healthy baby.

    6. A woman’s face may need makeup but not your penis.

    Avoid using powder around the penis. If you do, especially after shaving, you might have to deal with serious irritations.

    The penis doesn’t need perfume to smell good so don’t spray perfume around your penis.

    *NB*: For those who are not circumcised, in your case, please pull back the the foreskin and wash underneath with warm water everyday.

    Always remember, a clean penis is mightier than Goliath’s sword..

    Finally guys, please go for a quick check up if you notice any changes within your scrotum, this could be a sign of prostrate cancer.

    It’s common among men about and above 50 years of age.
