  • Why Did God Spend So Much Time On Woman

    WOMAN. . . . . . . . .
When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day…….
An angel came by and asked.” Why spend so much time on her?”
The lord answered. “Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?”
She must function on all kinds of situations,
She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time,
Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart,
She must do all this with only two hands,”
She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day”
THE ANGEL was impressed” Just two hands…..impossible!
And this is the standard model?”
The Angel came closer and touched the woman”
“But you have made her so soft, Lord”.
“She is soft”, said the Lord,
“But I have made her strong. You can’t imagine what she can endure and overcome”
“Can she think?” The Angel asked…
The Lord answered. “Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate”
    The Angel touched her cheeks….
“Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her”
“She is not leaking…it is a tear” The Lord corrected the Angel…
    “What’s it for?” Asked the Angel….. .
The Lord said. “Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride.”…
This made a big impression on the Angel,
“Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything.
    A woman is indeed marvellous”
    Lord said.”Indeed she is.
She has strength that amazes a man.
She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love and opinions.
She smiles when she feels like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.
She fights for what she believes in.
    Her love is unconditional.
Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life”
The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being?
The lord replied: No. She has just one drawback
“She often forgets what she is worth”.

  • Fostering and God Is What I Give

Fostering – “I could never do that”

One of if not THE most common phrases I’ve heard when the topic of foster care comes up. It’s usually followed with “it would break my heart” or “I would get too attached” I know a lot of people don’t really know what foster care is and I understand where that comment is coming from but I want to say something: THAT IS LITERALLY THE POINT.

Looking at the picture below you might see a Mama rocking her child to sleep, but you’re wrong, that’s not what’s going on. I wish you could hear this picture. You see, this is a picture of the gospel alive and breathing in my living room, because what you don’t see are the 12 other people that were in the room the moment this picture was taken.

You can’t hear the prayers of healing & restoration being spoken over this traumatized baby & you can’t feel the power of worship, the sacrifice of praise that was surrounding him with a peace so sweet that he crawled into my arms and fell asleep. This isn’t a picture of a Mama with her baby. This is a picture of the church rising up and taking responsibility for innocent life beyond the womb. Will we get attached? Yes. Will it be hard? Absolutely. Will we grieve? Yes.

But foster care isn’t for people who won’t get attached & won’t grieve…it’s for the people who will. Because that is what this and every child who is a victim of insufficient care needs- someone who will get attached, to love them like their own, and yes…someone who will grieve. The church needs to understand this-we aren’t called to attend services once a week and sing a few songs, try our best, pay our taxes and go to heaven when we die…that’s not the gospel.

The gospel is NOW. Jesus’s message was, “The kingdom of God is here!” If you have a heart for the hurting and a passion to stand in the gap and advocate for the needy, but you’re afraid you “could never do that” I want you to think about where that fear is coming from…it’s the enemy’s plan to stop the kingdom of God from manifesting on the earth today- he uses fear to do it and it is rendering the church useless in our community. Don’t be afraid to grieve, be afraid of what will happen to these children if we don’t lay our lives down to love them. ❤️

  • I Gave Birth To 3 Children But I Gave Them All Away

I Gave Birth To 3 Children But I Gave Them All Away , you may be thinking what an awful person I am but you are wrong.

My name is Penny Divine and I’m a mum of six children, three of which live with me and call me mummy and three who I am biological related to but call another woman mum.

After I had my 3rd child I realised just how special it is, the moment you look into your babies eyes, sniff their little heads and hug this bundle of joy for the first time and the pride you feel when you take them home.

Whilst holding my tiny 7 pound baby laid in the hospital bed I imagined how hard it was for woman who would never get to experience this, who would never know this unbreakable love.

Once my baby had reached her 1st birthday I sat my husband down and said I want another baby but I don’t want to keep it, I want to gift it to a woman who cannot have her own child.

My husband was amazingly supportive but said as long as its artificial insemination and not sex he was okay with it (he is a joker but the most wonderful man).

I saw my Gp and was referred to a specialist clinic, I had a psychological evaluation, medical checks and had to sign multiple disclaimers saying that I could not have any financial gain from it etc etc, I wouldn’t accept any money any way.

Six months later I met a wonderful couple Julie and Philip who had tried with IVF for years but Julie was not producing eggs.

My husband was the one to inseminate me with Philips sperm and would you believe it I was pregnant on the first try, the pregnancy was pretty smooth other than the urge to eat sponges.

When I delivered their little boy I was nervous handing him over but the smiles and joyful tears that Julie and Philip had was the most magical feeling, I can’t express how happy I felt in that moment, knowing I had just given them the greatest gift.

I went on to help two more couples and still keep in contact with all of them and i am often referred to as auntie, being a surrogate is not for everyone but for me it is like I am giving them a gift from god and I plan on doing it again next year.

  • Two Babies In A Womb, Talking About Life After Delivery

A womans post on Facebook has gone viral and has a lot of people are talking about it.

The post goes “In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?”The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will be later.”

“Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”

The second said, “I don’t know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we can’t understand now.”

The first replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”

The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we won’t need this physical cord anymore.”

The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”

“Well, I don’t know,” said the second, “but certainly we will meet Mother and she will take care of us.”

The first replied “Mother? You actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. If Mother exists then where is She now?”

The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. Without Her this world would not and could not exist.”

Said the first: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.”

To which the second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and listen, you can perceive Her presence, and you can hear Her loving voice, calling down from above.”

May be this was one of the best explanations to the concept of GOD.
