  • Derek Will Not Kill Me I Won’t Let Him

Derek will not kill me I won’t let him.

Three months ago I was diagnosed with a Cancerous tumour on my brain.

My loving husband Philip was sat by my side as the doctor told me, and explained about the treatment I would need, I couldn’t take it all in at the time but have come to terms now that I have a long hard battle ahead.

On the drive to my parents to collect my children it dawned on me I would have to tell my young children but how, how do you tell your children that you will lose your hair, you will be in pain, you will vomit and you won’t be able to do the things you want to do without help and will ave t spend a lot of time at the hospital.

Morgan is 6 and Summer 4 both were far too young to understand what Cancer was and I didn’t want them to be scared my husband and I spoke at length at how to tell them and we had a starting plan.

I made my husband sit them down and he said “mummy has a naughty lump in her head called Derek, but the doctors have a super juice called Betty that will help kick Derek out, but Betty is so powerful that mummy’s hair might fall out, and mummy may get tired or be a little ill but Betty is going to get naughty Derek out”.

My beautiful young children know that Derek makes mummy ill and will talk to him and tell him to get out.

I didn’t want to scare my babies and every day they thank Betty for making my hair come out in clumps, Betty is doing her job and my babies understand that when I throwing up or struggle to get out of bed that it’s for a good reason, when mummy is at hospital she’s going to visit her hero little miss Betty.

Betty will not let Derek kill my babies mum I’m going to fight this every day and it helps so much that my children aren’t scared and don’t quite understand.

Betty and I are going to kick Dereks arse

Kerry Blackaller is currently going through hell her little angel her only daughter has been removed from her care and she is fighting to get her back.

Blackaller said “Well since 8 this morning I’ve been trying to find the right words. This is the best I could do. 11 months ago today was the happiest day of my Life. You completed me finally after all these years. Some time passed in that time we passed I lost my battle to keep you with me. Please believe me it was not my fault I did everything in my power.

Unfortunately the system let me and you both down. Since you’ve been gone I still have fought for you every day. My days have been bad but this day has hit me like a ton of bricks. Every month you was a month older we always used to do something. This month we can’t 💔 furthermore I’m now realising its only one month away until your first birthday and I’m dreading that day coming.

Social Services Have Taken My Heart I Want My Baby Back

Lyla baby my life is just not the same without you here. I don’t want to get up in the mornings, The fight I have left in me is minimal, but of course for you I’m not giving up and still somehow going. You are the only reason right now that I breathe. What I would give to hear a silly little cry or a moan or the smell of a stinky nappy.

To just feel your presence and your arms around my neck, your head on my chest, your hands in mine, to hear the most amazing sound of all that beautiful laugh of yours, to feel your heart beat next to mine, to see the worlds most captivating smile, to feel the most beautiful skin I’ve ever felt, most of all the best sound I have ever heard in my life, you in the morning rocking the cot and calling MUM. I have deep trouble accepting the fact that your gone. How you’ll now call

Someone else mum, how I won’t get to see you flourish and grow anymore, your 1st day at nursery, then big girl school, to know if your hurt or sad, jobs, friends, boyfriends, prom, career, for the rest of my life this will eat me alive. But I promise as long as you ok and smiling I will deal with it and wait for

You to come and find me to make it up to you and show you all I done. I really hope you understand I done what I could. You have made me the happiest and proudest mum in the world. Every minute and second I spent with you was the best time of my Life.

While I sit and write this with tears streaming down my face there’s still this smile that is permanently stuck there to my face and heart because of you. For this I thank you and I will cherish it all until I see you again. I miss and love you so much it hurts, and makes my heart skip beats. There’s not a single day that goes by that I don’t hurt, or think about you and smile, that I don’t smell or hear your infectious laugh. Not a day that I can’t wait to have you back in my arms. Or a day I wish I could turn back time, most of all not a day goes by where I don’t pray to have you back and that your safe and happy.

Please god keep my baby safe and happy. Let her grow into all she can be. Let her know I’m here not giving up. I promise mummy will think about u and cherish every moment of you every day. I promise I will always be here. You’ve given me feelings I never knew existed. Until we meet again.. I have to say bye and god only knows how I’m going to do that. I love you more than any words could ever comprehend. Not only because you’re my daughter but you was my best friend too. And Forever that will remain. My whole 🌎 my ❤️ beat. My baby 👶🏼 mummy’s 👸🏼 forever and always 👩‍👧 💜💕💔💔💔💔”.

  • This Is Why You Need To Get Your Smear Test Done

Elliott Lowe from Milton Keynes is urging woman to have their smear tests done.

Lowe wrote: Two years ago to date (22/12/2016) my beautiful wife, my best friend, the mother to our four beautiful children, my world, my soul mate in fact my everything was given a diagnosis by Milton Keynes Hospital that would devastate our lives and change it forever.

My wife (donna Lowe) was diagnosed with cervical cancer three days before Christmas, it wasn’t until the 10th of January 2017 after further tests and scans (PET Scan) that my wife’s consultant at Northampton General Hospital dealt us a further devastating blow that the cancer had already spread to her Lymph nodes in her pelvic area and as a result the cancer had been diagnosed as stage 4b.

Despite a very hard, but brutal fight against the cancer involving daily radiotherapy for six weeks and a chemotherapy session, a session which had to stop due to complications it was a diagnosis that was to claim her life.

Regretfully, On the morning of Saturday the 5th of August 2017, my beautiful wife passed away in my arms surrounded by our four young children, her mother, brother and sisters aged just 32 at Willen Hospice, Milton Keynes.

I am sharing this with you today two years after her diagnosis to encourage everyone reading this to make sure that we take it upon ourselves to ensure that the special women in our lives in fact all women in our lives be they relatives or friends to attend their Cervical Screening (once called smears) and not to either miss them or forget to re-arrange.

My wonderful wife postponed her last Smear for reasons I can’t even remember, believe me I’ve tried to remember and there’s not a day goes by I wish I could swap places with her or wish I’d dragged her to the appointment and re-arranged it for her.

Having already spoken to some of you here I know that some haven’t had a smear in a number of years, I think the longest was 20 years.

Cervical screening (smear) takes only minutes, I am aware it’s not the most comfortable or dignified of experiences for women to go through but the consequences of missing one devastates life’s for everyone connected and will do for generations to come, I wake up every morning alone, bring my kids up alone.. yes I have family around me supporting me, and I’m truly thankful for that, but it’s never the same nor will it be.

My wife missed her last Cervical Screen and paid the ultimate price she paid with her life. Let’s not let other families go through this immense pain we face daily let’s fight Cancer together as early detection saves lives I know this as I’m still in contact with women and their families who were being treated at the same time as my wife and who have been given the all clear.

I’m so proud of how hard my wife fought against this devastating disease despite her knowing the awful truth that it would eventually claim her life.

I know some of the pictures may distress you, i apologies if they do, but I needed to demonstrate how devastating Cancer is.

Please share this post with your friends and ask them to do the same together we can beat cancer and save lives don’t let another family go through the pain we go through everyday thank you x

Alfie Evans is at Alder Hey Hospital in the PICU. He has been hospitalised continuously since December 2016, dealing with chronic seizures of an undiagnosed disorder. The hospital has given up on him and applied to the High Court to remove parental rights and withdraw ventilation to end Alfie’s life. Yet Alfie and his parents are FIGHTING!

Alfie has been been at Alder Hey in Liverpool PICU since December 2016. After a year of being there, this hospital has still not done procedures which should have been done a long time ago, like a tracheostomy and a PEG tube. This would be done immediately as soon as Alfie gets to the European hospital who is ready and willing to take him. The only thing stopping him from going to this hospital – is Alder Hey and their turning to the court. They have given up on him!

One Boys Fight For The Right To LIVE

Alfie’s parents are in court tomorrow , as the hospital wishes to appoint a guardian.

Alfie has been given a chance at this European hospital who is waiting for Alfie to try and treat and diagnose his illness.

Alfie has not been diagnosed with a terminal illness, HE IS STILL UNDIAGNOSED. Yet, ALDER HEY have put in an application to REMOVE HIS LIFE SUPPORT!

Please do not let them do this to him. Lots of disabled children live happy lives. Alder Hey say that “Treatment is futile” and He has “no quality of life.” Being disabled, doesn’t mean his life should be written off.

One Boys Fight For The Right To LIVE

Alder Hey say that Alfie is “insensate” and that He “feel nothing”. Alfie does react, He stretches, He sneezes, He opens his eyes, He sucks a dummy, HE IS AWARE! and HE IS LOVED

Please sign my petition so that Alder Hey will #RELEASEALFIEEVANS. https://www.change.org/p/we-demand-alder-hey-to-release-alfie-evans-to-a-hospital-of-his-parents-choice

  • Keep The Faith

A year ago tonight at around 2am I tried to kill myself, I had enough after struggling year after year with the black fog that is depression. Thankfully I was unsuccessful.

15 days later me and my girlfriend found out that she was 3 weeks pregnant. 7 months later we had a son who is a week shy of 5 months.

If I had of been successful in taking my life then basically I would be airbrushed out of this photo, I wouldn’t exist. I would have missed out on the best thing that has ever happened to me. That absolutely terrifies me to think about.

While I’m not going to lie there has been dark days since and I’ll always have to face this illness on a daily basis, it’s worth facing, it’s worth dealing with & most importantly it’s worth talking about, that’s what’s kept me alive I think, talking to people I care about & that care about me.

Anyway that’s my story about the past year of my life & for the first time in a long time I’m looking forward to enjoying many more!

    Keep the faith x
