  • Your Husband Should Eat Before Your Children

    Who should you feed first your husband or your child? 

    For most the answer is simple, your children should always come first.
    But there is a trend spreading across social media of woman admitting that their partner should always comes first.

    Look after your “King” and he will provide for the off-spring.

     

    One woman named Melissa Ravens aged 34 from Somerset posted saying “my husband will always come before my children, he is my priority, this doesn’t mean I don’t love my children, in fact I believe a loved happy husband makes for happy well brought up children, my husband works hard and needs my support. My children play all day so I plate my husbands meal first he requires more affection”.

    Another woman named Sophia Marques Aged 23 and mother of 2 agreed with Ravens and said: “my husband needs to be fed first so he can have the energy to be able to make money to support the household”.

    Many woman surprisingly agreed with these two ladies, although the majority of mums were shocked to hear this out dated idea and some weren’t very tactful with their replies and attacked these woman and branded them terrible mothers.

    Now I don’t agree these woman but would never verbally attack them however I 
    normally would keep impartial on my web stories but on this one I cannot, my three children will always come before anyone and that includes myself.
    I personally would rather starve so my children could eat, no man or woman will ever come before my children, but as long as all are being fed I’m not sure it matters which order it’s dished up.

    I always dish up my children’s first purely so it has time to cool down I had never thought of it as a positive or negative thing.

  • Warn Your Children About This New Craze

    A dangerous Facebook game is encouraging teenagers to “disappear”, please warn your children about this new craze.

    Children as young as 14 years of age are doing a “48-Hour Challenge”, where they disappear without a word to families, often in pairs or small groups.
    It it similar to the Game Of 1972 which was popular Western Europe four years ago, reports Belfast Live .

    That craze saw children dare each other to vanish without trace for up to three days and took off quickly in France and other countries.

    Missing children increase their ‘score’ through every social media mention of them

    Every mention the missing teen gets on social media increases their score, so frantic parents asking Facebook followers for help and to share  only add to the “game”.

    One mum in Northern Ireland whose child disappeared recently said: “This is a competition and it’s sick. The anxiety it left our family in is unspeakable.

    “I was terrified they were dead or would be raped, trafficked or killed. But these kids just think it’s funny. There was not even a moment of remorse when my child was taken into police custody and when the police brought my child home, I could see posts of selfies from the police car.

    “I’ve been told my child and friends are in the lead in this competition because they managed to vanish for 55 hours before they were discovered.

    “It was just terrifying and my child, who is 14, doesn’t seem to get it. They need a wake up call but I’m worried what that would be.”

    Please warn your children about this new craze not only is it dangerous for them, it terrifies families and friends, plus a genuine missing teen may not get the social media coverage that may bring them home safely.

    Time to sit down and have a chat with your teen or even younger children about this craze, no matter how sensible you may think they are.

  • I Will Spend Less Time Viewing My Children Through An App

    When I was growing up back in the 90’s my mother would only bring the disposable camera out for special occasions such as family holidays, first day at school or ready posed photos.

    Looking through my families collection of photographic memories, they are all pleasant, or sweet, myself and my brother playing in a pool, me in the clothes my nanny had knitted, the whole family standing in Trafalgar Square or us all smiling round or Christmas table wearing paper hats.

    Now today, Facebook reminds me of posts I have put up “on this day” in the years since I first joined the social media site.
    I came to realise that I have hardly printed any of these wonderful memories off, I have no hard copy, will my child have to log into my Facebook to see many of their childhood memories?

    Another realisation, all my childhood photos are nice or pleasant, yet many of the photos I have taken of my children will be embarrassing for them in years to come and here I am plastering it all over social media. 

    How many of these photos have I actually been fully involved in?

    How many of these photos have I thought of the perfect caption whilst taking it?

    How many different filters have i tried?

    When did I stop seeing and feeling the moment?

    Today I have decided to spend less time seeing my children through my camera app and more time face to face, actually living the memories rather than documenting them.
    The embarrassing photos will be printed off and kept and not placed on show for everyone to see.

    My children will only be young for so long and although I want phones to keep I also want them to remember me and not the back of my phone, I will find a happy medium.

     

  • It’s Only For Mothers You Sicko-Dad Shaming

    A woman has defended a man after he was shamed out of a parents’ room in an Australian shopping centre.

    According to a witness Mikaa Ives the man was trying to change his son’s nappy when another mother walked over to him, accused him of being a “sicko” and ordered him to leave.
    “There was a dad in the middle of changing his son’s nappy, already having a difficult time with his son not wanting to be changed,” Mikaa Ives wrote on a local parenting Facebook group page.


    The woman allegedly accused the father of “staring at her naked kids” and threatened to call security.

    “The lady piped up and started abusing the dad for being in the parents’ room: ‘It’s only for mothers, get out you sicko’, literally saying she would call security and say he was staring at her naked kids if he didn’t leave the room,” Ives said.

    “He picked up his son who mind you didn’t even have a clean nappy on yet and went to stand outside the door.

    “His son was hysterical and he’s just saying ‘its okay mate, we’ll go back in there soon.” 

    Ives, who was disgusted at the woman’s behaviour, walked over to the father and told him to come back inside and finish putting a clean nappy on his child.
    She said if the other woman called security she would back him up.
    “At this point I thought f*ck this, told the dad to come back in and finish changing his son, told the lady that if she wanted to call security to go ahead because I would 100 per cent back the dad up,” she wrote.
    “Old mate finished changing his son, thanked me and off he went.
    “I was absolutely shocked that the poor bloke felt he had no choice but to leave like she said … I was BEYOND disgusted.”
    Ives went on to say that the mother in question wasn’t even changing her children – she had just gone into the parents’ room to check her phone while her kids played.
    “ITS A PARENTS ROOM NOT A F***ING MOTHERS ROOM. If you’re one of the people who act like that when a dad is simply changing his child, then I suggest you stay the f*** away from the PARENTS room,” she vented on Facebook.
    The shopping centre website refers to its “parent rooms” being equipped with a microwave, lounges, change tables and toilets.
    More than 300 people have commented on the post with a number of fathers revealing they’ve had similar incidents happen to them.
    “Happened to me twice now. Thank goodness my little boy is out of nappies now,’ one father shared.
    Another wrote: “I’ve had security called on me for taking my daughter into a parents’ room to change her nappy. Security basically told her to pull her head in as I was clearly changing a baby.”
    “I’m a dad n copped the same when ever I had to change my son’s nappy. Didn’t move just told them to [do] whatever they needed to do to feel better about themselves,” one dad wrote.
    “When someone kicks you out of a parent’s room you literally have nowhere to go with your children, it’s good to know that there are people out there who care.”

     

  • School Lockdown Happening Across The Country

    School lockdown happening across the country, Schools are practicing and preparing for the worst.

    Young children taking part in terror drills are being taught to scramble behind upturned tables and under desks while teachers lock classroom doors and close windows and blinds.

    Youngsters are also urged to keep silent during the drills. The reason is not explained to them, and instead teachers say it is a GAME in one school they were told that they were hiding from a tiger.

    A Department for Education spokesman said: “All schools should have crisis management plans in place, drawn up in conjunction with their local police forces and other authorities, to deal with emergency incidents.”

    The spokesman said these procedures encompass everything from terrorism to gas leaks.

    He said: “The safety of children in our schools is paramount and we take any incidents extremely seriously.”

    It is not just the UK that is preparing for the worst, France, Spain and the USA have also got a drill in place.

    Gemma Watkins spoke with us and said her child is 7 and come hold from school and told her “we hid from a loose dog today, we had to turn over the table and be super quiet”.

    Gemma was shocked when she looked in her sons school bag and saw the letter explaining the lockdown procedure.

    I have seen on so many parenting sites and social media groups across Facebook and Instagram promoting an image of the Wellington Boot families, this is a beautiful picture of a family of wellington boots, mummy boot, daddy boot and the children’s boots, names can be added to the image.

    Many of my personal friends and all across Facebook I have seen this as peoples profile picture or cover photo.

    Members of these groups are asking if anyone would like one done and are happy to create one for members.

    But beware you are breaking copyright law.

  • REVEALED: the secret codes children are using to hide the true meanings of messages

    Most parents check their children’s phones, read text messages, WhatsApp messages, Facebook messages and posts.

    But how much of it do we truly understand?

    The police have revealed a list of secret texting codes that referred to drugs, sex and suicide.

    We urge all parents to familiarise yourself with these codes as to better understand what your children may really be talking about.

    These codes have also been used by pedophiles when attempting to groom teenagers and children into sexual relationships and activities.

    The Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Newry and Mourne division published an extensive list of the codes earlier this year.

  • Someone Called This Girl’s Japanese Tea Party Racist and Then a Japanese Person Stepped In

    Cultural appropriation has always been a touchy subject, but the topic has become especially heated in recent years thanks to so many media outlets setting bad examples (ahem, Vogue). That’s why when one Utah mum shared her daughter’s Japanese-themed birthday party FIVE years ago, it resurfaced on Tumblr and caused an uproar on the internet.

    One user has since called the mum “racist” and has criticized her for setting a bad example for her daughter.


    “Teach children this is not ok,” user ‘ginzers’ wrote.


    The response was quickly cheered and supported by other Tumblr users, and in the years that have followed this particular post has percolated around reddit and various other forums in one form or another. Hence why it resurfaces from time-to-time.

  • Smoking indoors should be classed as abuse? 

    Smoking whilst pregnant is a hugely controversial issue, while most agree it is harmful for their unborn baby, others either don’t have the will power to give up, or have false belief that it would do more harm to baby if they gave up, and yes there are those who simply don’t care.

    But what about smoking once the child is born?

    Laws were passed to stop smokers in pubs, restaurants, cars and even public areas like the zoo have designated smoking zones.

    So, what about people’s own homes?

    There are still a huge amount of smokers whom will openly smoke around their children, those who will smoke in their kitchens or front room.

    One woman said “your house is like your children’s womb, your meant to protect them, not allow them to breathe in harmful chemicals

     

     

    Another said: I’ve been a smoker for years I live in a flat and have no choice but to smoke out of a window

     

    Many would like to see smoking indoors classed as abuse!!!

    Equally many would like to see more controls put on vaping in public until more intensive research has been done on the long term effects and damages from the new trend.

     

    One man said: who is going to police this? No one can stop people From doing anything in their own home
