  • Charging Your Phone Can Be Dangerous

Last night at 1am Mia’s bed caught fire. Luckily she was awake however she was laying in bed and it caught right by her head. We got it out really fast and everyone was ok.

I have Minor burns and Mia did get sick from taking in to much smoke. So incredibly scary how fast it was spreading (all behind her bed and up the wall too) house filled so thick with smoke in seconds. It started because her Charger was touching her metal bed frame.

So lesson to everyone make sure your kids are not charging their phones on the bed or sleeping with their chargers on their beds. This could have been SOOOOOOO much worse if she had been asleep I don’t even want to think about it. Thankful the worst is we need to get her a new mattress new sheets and new pillows.

  • My Baby Was Decapitated But No Charges Are Being Made

My son Steven died on 16/3/14 after he was decapitated by Dr Vaishnavy Laxman at Ninewells hospital. I was only 2-3 cms with low lying placenta and my son was in breech position. But she refused to carry out a C-section telling me to push. Medics even questioned her decision throughout my terrifying and devastating experience.

Afterwards prosecutors wrote to me stating that the current law in Scotland means that because my son didn’t take a breath, he does not have a legal identity-he is stillborn- therefore there would be no criminal case or fatal accident inquiry. If I had been given a C-section then my son could have taken a breath however due to being decapitated it was made impossible.

Every baby deserves to be classed as a person with a legal persona and therefore entitled to a thorough legal investigation into their death to ensure no criminal acts have taken place. There are loads of other cases I’ve read about where blunders have taken place in hospitals resulting in the death of babies but nothing can be done and no one is held accountable because they are classed as stillborn. Lets make a change ,update the outdated laws and help all of the mummies and daddies like myself and Steven’s father fight for justice for our babies.

  • Woman Who Starved Her Dog To Death

LETS GET HER NAME OUT THERE SO SHE DOESN’T HAVE A ANIMAL FOR LIFE!!!!

His name stands for You Only Live Once but Yolo the Staffordshire Bull Terrier life ended in agony and alone – and his owner avoided jail.

A court heard how his owner Emma Miles locked him in the kitchen of her flat when she moved out, leaving him to starve to death. Only fur and faeces were found in his stomach and his internal organs had decomposed.

Emma Miles (Forber) a 28-year-old mother of two, left the Staffordshire Bull Terrier locked in the kitchen of the council flat she rented in Oak Drive, Dursley, Gloucestershire when she moved to a new address in August 2016, magistrates Following her formal eviction from the property, council workers clearing the property discovered that the kitchen floor was covered in faeces and a brown sludge, and subsequently discovered the emaciated corpse of a dog wrapped in a plastic bin bag, which had been placed in a cupboard.

When Stroud District Council’s animal welfare officers were called in to investigate the case Miles claimed that she had given the dog, named Yolo, to a former boyfriend.

However rigorous investigations by SDC animal welfare officer Alex Myrie demonstrated that was not the case, and that Miles had left Yolo alone in the flat without food, water or human company over a period of weeks, which resulted in him starving to death.

A post-mortem examination found that the dog’s stomach contents contained only dog fur and faeces, the only sources of food that would have been available to him.

A wound was discovered that was consistent with a pressure sore arising from an inability to move prior to his death. The brown sludge found on the kitchen floor was consistent with the advanced decomposition of internal organs.

A vet appointed by the council reported that Yolo ‘suffered a great deal in the slow, cruel and unnecessary process of starvation.’

Miles was found guilty of causing Yolo unnecessary suffering which resulted in his death and was sentenced to 18 weeks of custody, suspended for 12 months and ordered to complete 180 hours of unpaid work in the community within 12 months. She was disqualified from owning or having responsibility for any animal for 10 years and ordered to pay £1,000 towards council costs as well as a £115 victim surcharge.

Mrs Myrie, who led the investigation, said: “In my 16 years in this role, this is the worst case of animal cruelty I have had to deal with.

“The last days and weeks of Yolo’s life must have been the stuff of nightmares. Staffies thrive on human company and the thought of Yolo spending his last week’s not only starving and thirsty but also lonely, breaks my heart.

“It seems a cruel irony that Yolo’s name stands for ‘You Only Live Once’ when his life ended so cruelly and needlessly.

“There are no winners in cases of this nature but we are very grateful to the courts for bringing Miss Miles to account for her actions, in particular banning her from having any responsibility for any animal for the next 10 years.” 10 POXY YEARS 😡

Councillor Simon Pickering, chairman of Stroud District Council’s environment committee said: “The level of cruelty uncovered in this case is completely abhorrent.

“I wish publicly to thank the diligence and dedication of our animal welfare and legal teams for their excellent work to ensure a successful prosecution.
