  • He Came Out Of School So Sad

At first look, you may think this is my daughter, you would be wrong, this is my 3 year old son who absolutely loves his spiderman dress..

On Friday, my handsome kind boy wore his spiderman dress to nursery , he went into nursery so so happy, he couldn’t wait to show all his friends his twirling, he couldn’t wait to make them smile.
He came out of school so so sad, two girls had laughed at him and told him he was wearing a girls dress. It absolutely broke his heart, and mine too!

Now, no-one would bat an eyelid if my daughter went into school wearing a hulk costume… So why should he be laughed at for wearing a dress?
After it happened, quite a few people said “well you should of expected it”…. No, no I definitely shouldnt of, its a piece of clothing, it doesn’t define my son, he also loves playing with dinosaurs, cars and Thomas the tank engine.

Why the fuck aren’t we teaching our children to be kind?! Why should I expect my son to be picked on if he wears a dress?
Children are THE most important people we should be teaching to be kind, they are the ones who can change the world, not us, they are the future, they will be bringing up their own children, hopefully to be kind, if they are taught to be kind, they will teach others, it’s common sense!

So in a world where our children can be anything, encourage them to be kind!

  • I have seen a lot of people making fun of these shoes

I have seen a lot of people making fun of these shoes.

A lot of people with children too. Smh.

Listen. Your kids literally don’t know the difference until they hear YOU make fun or crack jokes.

Your kid don’t know to want NAME BRAND until you made the comment “he ain’t wearing no off brand shoes”

So then your kid goes to school, sees the less fortunate student has on the “off brand” and now your child is mimicking YOU and bullying another student….

Quit teaching these kids a Name Brand means something… I PROMISEEEEE they wouldn’t of cared until YOU MADE THEM CARE.

My daughter always picks out some paw patrol shoes or sandles out… and we’ve bought “fake vans”

Do you know it took a whole day before she got red kool aid on them and they were ruined? Do yall know how mad I’d be if I had spent 40 or 50 on shoes just for her to spill Kool aid on them 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

But they were only 13, so I could go grab another pair to replace if I had really wanted to.

The point I’m trying to make is… your kid doesn’t care if the shoe has a Nike, Vans Or Jordan logo… at least they didn’t until you made it very clear that YOU had the issue.

There is NO ISSUE with kids wearing knock off shoes. None. Especially how these kids like to kick up mud and dirt around and spill Kool Aid on things 😂😭🤷🏻‍♀️

NOTE: To the people who are some how triggered by this post, I’m not sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️.

This isn’t a “parent bashing” post.

  • It’s Normal To Be Anxious In This World

It’s normal to be anxious in this world. How are you not?

We live in a society in which at the first sign of someone else’s distress we pull out our mobiles to record what it happening instead of helping.

Homeless-ness has become so common that no-one is trying to prevent it anymore, the numbers are just growing. In the UK prior to royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry they ‘cleared’ the streets of Windsor from all the homeless people. I saw a spokesman on ITV News at the time saying that homeless people choose to live on the streets.

Everyday on the news we hear of another drug taking over our local communities. It scared me when Heroin, a drug as a child I would have only heard of in films. Is now easier to get now than a packet of cigarettes.

School is the scariest place for some children to go because they are being bullied. More than one out of every five (20.8%) students reported being bullied according to the National Center for Educational Statistics, 2016.

School is also a competition from the first day to the last. From the parents to the children. The parents want their child to have the best equipment and do the best. The children then turn into teenagers who begin to want better equipment than their friends and to do better than their friends rather than helping them.

Why has Christmas turned into a social media event basically? Everything is posted on Facebook especially the main one (the picture with the 1000 presents.) It’s like everything has to be a competition these days. Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, Communions etc. It Is like we are losing the love for each celebration. Constant competition with no thought for those with less.

The internet is at a child’s fingertips. The youngest person I know to use the internet is 5. We can all have an opinion on how the internet is affecting the generations to come but the majority of things that can be seen at a click of a button are negative.

Social Media has changed the idea of beauty creating standards that are unreachable for young men and women. Self-esteem issues starting at pre-adolescence. It is the platform of cyber bullying and arranged fights. It is constant negative videos circulating every day, from videos of people abusing children to videos of people fighting. Facebook was invented so we can connect with friend’s, right?

People are still widely being victimized based on their gender, race, sexual orientation, religion etc. We are becoming more accustomed to what ‘labels’ people fit instead of treating them as people, equal.

In a corporate environment it will never matter how well you perform your job to move up the corporate ladder. ‘It is not what you know it is who you know.’

It constantly feels that it is the government against the people and their welfare instead of being for the people. Why does it always seem that they always focus on the minor problems of the city rather than the major?

A celebrity death is no longer a case of mourning. It is a case of insensitive meme’s and jokes now. Is this generation losing the values of respect?

There have been 142 school shootings in the US Since 2013. Schools in which our children should be safe. When there is a school shooting it is publicised all over the news which creates further fear in children at any school. Is school even a safe place anymore?

We don’t speak up for those in need of help as much as we possibly could. I believe voices have the ability to change everything wrong in this world if only we had enough voices, and even with that too many people would be afraid to speak up due to the fact they may suffer the consequences personally.

We hear swear words from most children’s mouths these days and it isn’t even shocking anymore.

The news and media are all so corrupt and negative. It seems like they know exactly how to sway the public to a certain way of thinking.

Are the Police to be trusted? When you see the Police do you feel safe?Personally, I do. But some people do not and are completely within reason.

In Northern Ireland at the minute there is no government at all, not that the people of the North’s voices ever get heard anyway but imagine having no government in your country. I don’t know how many times I have heard people ask, ‘what the hell is going on here.’

Drugs are literally everywhere and scarily available to people whom I have heard of aged as young as 14. Coke, MDMA, Ecstasy, Speed, Spice, Heroin, everything. Imagine a child finding the remains of a needle and spoon from a heroin hit in the middle of their city centre?

We hear the words ‘Nuclear Bombs’ a lot these days. That’s normal to hear and doesn’t cause fear.

We live in a world where a 9-year-old just committed suicide. A 9 Year old should not know what suicide is! END OFF!

I could go on longer on this but really, it’s like no wonder why so many people have anxiety disorders living in this world.

  • Mums Punishment Causes Heated Debates

Cierra Brittany Forney’s post has caused heated debates on social media after she shared how she punished her son.

Forney said “So lately, my 13-year-old son had been acting a little… entitled. Acting like he’s too good to shop at Wal-Mart or making snarky comments about kids at school who shop at the goodwill and quite a few other things. I don’t tolerate that.

Today, he took his own 20.00 to the goodwill to buy clothes to wear the entire week to school. Whatever he found is what he would have to wear. He isn’t happy and shed a few tears but I firmly believe in 15 years he will look back and laugh at the day his Mom made him shop at goodwill. I want to teach my kids that money isn’t everything and if you have to degrade other people because of where they shop, then you too will shop there. Side note, I love the goodwill!!”.

Some people thought the punishment was perfect and that it will teach him kindness and compassion and a great life lesson, whilst many others thought it wrong to share the photo to social media, classing it as a kind of bullying and a permanent reminder that may haunt this boy for years to come.

What are your thoughts on this form of punishment, great parenting? Too harsh? Let us know in the comments section

  • Anti Bullying Isn’t Something That Should be Discussed

So I was listening to the radio the other week and it was talking about anti bullying week/day.

Anti bullying is something that should not be discussed just on a certain week or day but something that should be regularly talked about openly and honestly.

No one has the right to bully anyone, whether that be in the work place, at home, on the streets, at a school or through social media.

No one has the right to make someone else feel worthless, fear for their safety or fear that their belongings may be taken from them, no one should be forced to hand over their belongings or monies through threats, violence or fear tactics.

Remember that 1 nasty thing that you say or do to someone could be the final straw and the thing that leads them to seep into deep depression, contemplate harming themselves or to even take their own lives, and destroy their families lives along with theirs.

    For the bully,

Do you really want to be responsible for someone else’s death?

    For the bullied,

There is always someone to talk to, speak up and ask for help, once you do your life will drastically change.

Don’t let the bullies win, a bully wins when the victim stays silent, a bully loses when they speak out.!

So I urge you to speak out and not just on anti bully week or day!

  • To The Girl Who Decided To Bully My Daughter Today

Cassie Archon’s young daughter was viciously beaten by her school bully and sadly this seems to be happening more and more, schools have little control or punishment methods to prevent what happens on the walk home, the school may have bullying policies but these seem to have little effect, some parents have little interest in their children and have no real authority at home, teenagers don’t seem to have any real worry about their consequences as parents don’t have the same respect as years ago, it’s a worrying time when your child can’t even walk home from school safely.

Archon took to social media to rant about what happened to her innocent young daughter.

Archon said: To the little girl who decided to bully my daughter today! You might have pushed her down, tossed her around and between you and your friend you bruised her c-spine by punching her……But, you WILL NOT get away with it. This is the 3rd time with each time getting worse. I promise you I’ll find the video on instagram! I promise you I WILL protect my daughter! NO parent should ever have to hear that their child was jumped by other kids, especially at the age of 11!! This society has gotten ridiculous with its protection of the ones that bully and the discipline on the ones being bullied. My daughter isn’t perfect but she by no means deserves to be beaten! We live 3/4 of a mile from her school and she can’t even walk home safely!!

    YOUR PARENTS SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!

Do you think bullying has gotten worse over the years or is just that people are speaking out more? Are schools and parents losing control of their children? let us know in the comments

  • I Punched A Child And I Liked It, I’d Do It Again

I punched a kid and I liked it

Yes you read the title right I did punch a kid and I didn’t just like it, I bloody loved it.

Ok maybe I should explain, I am the proud mum of 2 children Phoebe 12 and Max 8.

Phoebe is in year 8 at secondary school she is bright, kind and pretty.

Phoebe goes to school via public transport as we live 45 minutes away from the closest school.

Phoebe has been tormented and bullied on a daily basis by a 15-year-old called Joshua, he has spat at her, tripped her up, stole her phone and lots more.

I have spoken to the school at least twice a week for the last six months but as he is bullying her only on the bus and not on the school premises there was little they could do, I'[ve calle bus company but they say it’s not their job to watch kids on the bus.

I have tried speaking to his parents but they simply didn’t care.

Phoebe would come home in tears and beg to change schools or to let her cycle to school neither of which where feasible we live in the country side and other schools are even further away and it would take her hours to cycle and I don’t drive.

One week back after Christmas phoebe came home in bits she was inconsolable, once she had calmed down she explained that Joshua had got some boys to hold my baby girls arms behind her back and Joshua lifted up Phoebe’s top and mocked my daughters breasts.

I called the police in my eyes this was a sexual assault, the police questioned Joshua and gave him a slap on the wrist and told him not to it again.

No way was this little shit gonna get away with this, I phoned my work and told them I wouldn’t be in that day, I got on the bus with my daughter and as soon as Joshua stepped foot on the bus I lunged at him and gave a huge punch right on his smirking foul mouth, I sent him flying and told him if he touches my daughter again I would be taking it out on his parents as they deserved a smack as well.

I loved knocking the little shit into place and I honestly would do it again.

  • I Saved My Daughter From Bullies But I Paid The Price

I Saved My Daughter From Bullies But I Paid The Price.

My daughter Amelia is a shy quiet girl with a heart of gold, she is kind and sweet.

We have moved a lot in her short 11 years, my husband is in the army and every two to three years we have to move for his job.

This has been a fantastic experience but has meant Amelia loses friends and has to start again.

When Amelia was due to start secondary school we decided to settle back home in Cambridge.

Amelia started at the local school and she didn’t seem to settle well, maybe just nerves I thought, small fish in a big pond type of thing.

After the first few weeks she began coming home without her bag or shoes, saying she had lost them and then I noticed marks on her, scratches, bruises and even a chunk of hair was missing.

I confronted Amelia and she denied she was being bullied, she said it was from playing hockey, or got her hair stuck in her locker.

I knew something was going on, one day At the beginning of October I decided to wait round the corner from the school to see if I could see anything.

I followed her across a field, six girls aged 14-15 jumped my little girl, they were pounding blows on her tiny frame, kicking her, pug her beautiful blonde locks and taking her stuff and trowing it.

An anger rose in me, I ran at them screaming for them to get off of her.

I was greeted with a cackle of laughter and verbal abuse.

They picked Amelia off of the floor, held her arms behind her back and said “let’s put on a show” they hit my quiet, sweet, kind girl in her tiny stomach, winding her, my daughter looked at me with pleading eyes.

I couldn’t stand by and watch my child be beaten, I hit one of the girls and dragged another off of my daughter throwing her to the floor.

I took my daughter by the hand and we ran home.

My daughter was visibly shaken and scared, I bathed my girl the first time in years I had helped her bathe.

That night we sat cuddled up watching movies and eating snacks, I was determined that my daughter wouldn’t be returning to that school.

Half way through the movie there was a load knock on the door and two police officers were there.

I was spoken to in my house about the assault , not the one on my child though, the one on them.

I was told I had to hand myself in, in the morning.

The next day I arrived at the police station, confused and scared.

I had my fingerprints taken, mug shot, and read my rights, I was interviewed for several hours and placed in a cell.

I was finally called back into the interview room and told I was being cautioned on assault of a minor.

I thought that would be the end of it, but rumours began spreading that I had beaten a child, that I was a danger to children.

People threw rocks through our windows, my tyres were slashed, but for me the worst was hearing the whispers behind my back, the looks I was given.

It got so bad I was scared to leave the house, and for what the fact I hit a teenager my own height for beating my daughter who was tiny.

After six months of living in fear, we gave in and moved, we are now living in Leeds and things are starting to look up.

I still don’t know what else I was supposed to do when I saw my daughter being attacked, I can’t think of any other way to have dealt with it.
