  • My Daughter Loves Her Dads New Partner

Yesterday my daughter came out of school wanting to go and buy a present for someone special for the weekend. When I realised it was her dad’s girlfriend that she wanted to buy it for well my heart dropped right there and then and my face must have shown it too as I had to sit and cuddle her while she sobbed uncontrollably because she realised that what she had just said had hurt my feelings… I hid the tears rolling down my face while I held her tight. I hid my pain while she expressed hers.

I then realised that my own hurt was wrong, why should I be jealous of another woman who loves and cares for my little girl, and clearly my daughter feels the same way, my exs partner is not a threat she is an added bonus and a welcome addition to my daughter’s family.

One friend of mine expressed that she would feel jealous of their relationship and I explained that at first I was but soon came to realise that I have a strong bond with my daughter, she is my friend and my love for her is so strong, why should I be jealous that my daughter has someone who keeps her safe who wants to be a part of her life and wants the best for her.

Being a split family isn’t something I wanted and it is hard when you see someone you love move on and get into a new relationship especially when she is perfect, but I knew I had to grow up and put my daughter first, I don’t want her to grow up and feel see is stuck in the middle of a woman she likes and a mother she loves.

The way I see it is my daughter’s family has just got bigger and I am happy she has someone else in her life who is a strong female role model.

  • What it is like to break up with a Narcissist

What it is Like to Break Up with a Narcissist

Narcissists can be charming, sweet, attractive, and fun and  interesting at the start.

Of course, when your relationship started, you didn’t relise he was a narcissist. He was the most charming and loving man ever. Soon, you saw his true side: you saw he was vain, manipulative, and that nothing is ever his fault, and it all turned into a nightmare.

Dating a narcissist or being in a relationship with one is an emotional roller coaster. When you are with a narcissist, everything revolves around him, and he is the center of the attention. It is confusing, exhausting, and emotionally challenging. After some time, you realized that the only thing you can do is to leave this unhealthy relationship. But, the break up doesn’t end your emotional suffering.

The only thing harder than being in a relationship with a narcissist is breaking up with one. Here is what it’s like to break up with a narcissist and what you should expect.

Every break-up is tough and painful. But, most breakups follow the same patterns: one of the partners leave, both of them grieve for a certain period of time, and everyone moves on with their lives. But, when it comes to narcissists, everything is different, so you can’t expect to have an average break up. Narcissists are very competitive, enjoy winning, and have a fragile ego. If a narcissist leaves you, he either found another victim for emotional abuse or he left you to play with you and he will soon be back. If you are the one leaving a narcissist, you are directly attacking his ego.

The only way to leave a narcissist is to cut all ties between you two. It’s impossible to stay friends or to maintain any contact with this person after the relationship. He needs to emotionally abuse someone, and if you stay around him, he will quickly drag you back in this never-ending circle. Before you know it and without even being aware of it, he will use his manipulative skills against you, and you will again find yourself in some kind of relationship with him.

Everything involving a narcissist has to be chaotic; it is just a part of their personality. So, don’t expect your break up to go without a storm. A narcissist feels threatened when you are leaving him. Expect a big fight, expect him to insult you or even threaten that you would never get rid of him. He may try to blame you for everything that has happened in this unhealthy relationship. But, keep in mind that you were the victim and don’t let him make you feel guilty. He will try to do this to directly affect your self-esteem. He is very well aware that he is the one who was hurting you, but he doesn’t care. Because he doesn’t care about you.

The only thing he cares about is himself and that he has someone he can emotionally abuse. And he knows he can manipulate and emotionally abuse you only if you feel worthless and bad about yourself. A narcissist will try to manipulate you and play with your mind.

Another possible scenario is that he will assure you he will change and that he can’t live without you. He will beg, plead, bargain, and tell you everything you wanted to hear, just so two of you can be together. He may even threaten suicide. You may feel like he finally realized you are the one and that your relationship is worth fighting for. But, don’t fall for his tricks! He will use everything he can, so he can seduce you and charm you like in the beginning. He is not doing this because he loves you. And he is doing this because his ego is hurt, and he can’t admit he was wrong.

If you make up with a narcissist, you will feel like you are at the top of the world. He will be the best boyfriend you could ever wish for. But, only for a short period of time. Soon, a narcissist will return to his old ways, and you will be trapped back in this cycle of emotional abuse and torture. Remember, he will never change!

  • Mum’s Fiancé Asks Her To Give Up The One Thing She Loves Once They Get Married. The Most Shocking Part? She Is Already Considering It

A mum is being slammed by parents around the world after she confessed that she fully plans on giving up her son once she gets married.

As The Sun reports, the mother, who goes by “Feeling Stuck,” wrote into the Dear Wendy column to ask for some advice regarding her predicament.

“I’m a 30-year-old divorcee with a son. I have joint custody with my ex-husband. My boyfriend, who is also divorced, has a daughter who is under the sole custody of his ex-wife. I only get to spend time with my son on alternate weekends and my boyfriend doesn’t see his daughter at all,” the woman begins.

The woman has reportedly been waiting for her boyfriend to propose for quite some time, so when he finally did, she was over the moon.

There’s just one catch: She must give up her son.

“My boyfriend already proposed to me, but, one month after proposing, he wants me to give up seeing my son,” the mum revealed.

As it turns out, Feeling Stuck’s greatest concern in giving up her only child involves her ailing parents, who absolutely adore their grandson.

“I did tell him that my parents want to spend time with my son too and they can only do that on the alternate weekends I see him. He told me that he wants to go overseas to work and meanwhile I can use this period to think about whether I want to give up my son for him,” she writes.

Shockingly enough, the mum is considering her fiancé’s offer and is even thinking about going through with a trial run.

“I have thought of giving up my son after we married, but how am I supposed to answer to my parents? My mother has depression and my father has cancer. I don’t want them to be sad knowing that they will lose a grandson,” the woman continues.

According to the mum, it has been apparent from the beginning that she would one day have to choose between her son and her boyfriend.

“My boyfriend told me when we started dating that he could not accept my son, and I know not all men can. I’m actually prepared to give up my son after marriage, but my boyfriend wants me to do it right now. I want to be with my boyfriend and yet I can’t bear to let my parents feel sad because of their illnesses. I also have a mother’s guilt in me because my son loves me so much. What should I do?” she concluded.

Unsurprisingly, Dear Wendy, as well as hundreds of other commenters on social media, were horrified that a mother would consider going through with such a horrifying plan.

“Shame on you. Are you so lonely and so desperate for a husband that you would cast away your own child? Apparently so. Please, please get yourself to therapy and figure out what the fuck is wrong with you that you would behave in such an appalling, disgraceful way. I’m not even touching on your parents. That you would use them and their illnesses as the main reason to maybe keep seeing your son occasionally speaks volumes. Get help,” Dear Wendy responded, in part.
