  • What An Amazing Young Man

What a courageous thing for this little boy to do for his baby sister! 💪❤️
Re-posted from @nicolenoelwalker/Instagram Hey, all. Please, share my nephew’s story so that it gets as much exposure as it can. We know that our little hero would love some words of encouragement from his favorite heroes.

On July 9th, my six year old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog. After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe.

He later said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he’s finally resting at home. We love our brave boy and want all the other superheroes to know about this latest hero who joined their ranks.

  • Dog Savagely Ripped To Bits

    HEARTBROKEN 💔💔

My best little doggy pal Teddy Daly ❣️ while walking on his lead with me on the beach in Dollymount, Dublin this morning was dragged from me by TWO MASTIFF PITBULLS type dogs and was savagely ripped to bits while screaming and crying for me to help him 😰

    I’m DEVASTATED

I tried to beat the dogs off but it had no effect, my big stick broke on its head and I feared for my own life and for little Amber who I was holding tightly. I was screaming for help but the owner stayed hidden in the sand dunes 😡

Eventually Teddy fell like a rag doll, they thought he was dead and they sauntered off into the dunes to their owner.

Two men helped me carry him back to the car where the Guards were waiting for me. They drove me to the vet hospital in Raheny where the very helpful team of vets said they hadn’t seen such horrific injuries and there was no hope for Teddy 💔💔😢😢

Eoin, Liam, Carolyn & Avril were all there with me and we kissed, hugged, and held his paws in my hands saying goodbye before he closed his eyes ❣️

    VERY IMPORTANT

If anyone knows someone with two GOLDY/beige and white type pit bull mastiffs or similar to this breed in Dublin Ireland please pass on a message to me or the guards in Raheny

The Guards are very keen to find this owner as he lets them run free without muzzles.

I’ve no doubt they will do this again and possibly to a little child

    PLEASE HELP FIND HIM

have a little thought or prayer for my best little pal Teddy, anyone who knows me knows I was absolutely crazy about him, he went everywhere with me 💔💔❣️❣️

  • Savage Mouse Attack On Man

So after our landlord getting someone out to do work to the house to stop mice getting in, we have been terrorized by one for the past 2 days. Constantly on edge. Anyway tonight me and james walked into the livingroom and james started going buck daft saying the mouse was up his trouser leg, pure freaking out. I’m screaming, he’s screaming, kids are crying.

All we can see is the wee bulge of the mouse at the bottom his leg.. he’s holding his leg so it can’t crawl up any further.. he wants me to open the bottom of his trouser cuff to get it out and im like ‘nah mate, im out’. I then get the great idea to get him outside so we can let it run free. So he hobbles outside and hes trying to get me to open the cuff, im crying saying ‘nooo I cant, I really cant’.. then it dawns on us that there’s building work going on next door.. I know, ill ask a builder… james is standing there like ‘hurrry upppp😭😭’.. so I sprint in next door.. builder man opens the door and I start panic shouting in his face to open my boyfriend trouser leg to get the mouse out.. he’s in stitches.. walks into our garden to help.. I flee the scene cos yano, phobia of mice n all… im standing in the hall listening, heart going a dinger.

James screams and the builder starts laughing.. then james laughs. It was his car key.. he’s got a hole in his pocket. I’m fucking traumatized.. kids have ptsd.. james needs new track suit bottoms.. and i need a fucking drink! Jesus christ 😂😂

  • I Will Get Justice For My Baby

    💜👼Florrie’s Story👼💜

17 weeks 3 days pregnant I was assaulted in the kitchen of my home by my ex and the ‘Father’ to my 3-year-old daughter. I was already having a bleed due to the miscarriage of her twin a few weeks before. I can’t go into detail about the assault but the baby’s waters ruptured. Going upstairs I discovered I was soaking wet and there was blood everywhere. The only thing I could think was “That’s it. It’s game over”!! I rang the hospital and was taken in.

I had internals, scans etc etc and then I was told “I’m so sorry Amie. The baby’s waters have ruptured and there’s nothing we can do but wait for the labour process to begin or have a medically induced termination”!! I was absolutely heartbroken 💔I decided to go home and wait for the inevitable to happen. I didn’t want to stay in hospital and I definitely didn’t want to kill my own baby!! I wanted to be at home with my daughters.

My ex partner was arrested from my home and me and the girls went to stay with my mum for a couple of days. I had a scan booked for 2 days later if I hadn’t gone into labour already. I hadn’t!! I went for my scan at Fetal Medical Assessment and they told me that the babies waters were definitely ruptured and that I had Placenta Preva. They told me my Placenta was completely covering the baby’s exit and that if I had wanted a termination I couldn’t have one anyway because the baby would have to be born by Csection or I’d hemmorage and quite possibly bleed to death!!

Scary times 😔Other than her Waters been ruptured my baby was doing well for now but it was early days so the problems wouldn’t kick-start straight away and I was told to prepare for the worst. I was absolutely shattered!! I never went into labour though. I didn’t know the sex of my baby till the day she was born because there was so little fluid we couldn’t see. Even through all the stress, the constant worry and the heartache I just wanted to know whether my baby was Team Pink or Team Blue 💜💙It was the ‘Normal’ things that kept me going.

Every 2 days I had to go into hospital for obs, blood test to check my infection markers etc. Always went okay. Never caught any infections despite constantly losing fluid and having bleeds all the time with the Placenta Preva. Obs were always good, baby was always active during scans and she was still alive. That was the main thing!! Fast forward to 20 weeks pregnant and going to my 20 weeks scan. Changes had started taking place. Her lungs were on the small side and her heart was slightly enlarged and she had Tepeles (Club foot) all due to lack of fluid.

I was then referred for all my scans to take place at Fetal Medical Assessment at the LGI and that would be where baby’s birth would be taking place as they were more equipped to deal with her birth there. I had Fetal Medical scans every week and although we had bad weeks we had some good weeks too but her prognosis was never good. They told me the chances were highly likely that Florrie wouldn’t make it out alive but if she did she would be Trachea dependant for the rest of her life and that her life wouldn’t be a long one. They told me she had an enlarged heart with fluid surrounding it (Possible Cardiomyopathy) Potters Syndrome,Teples and she would be born cramped up as she had been squashed with no water for however long the pregnancy went on.

I was sat down after one scan and told “Amie. We’re quite concerned that your developing Placenta Creta”. On the scan it had shown a space about as thick as a finger nail between my Placenta and previous section scar tissue and I was referred for a MRI the following day. I went home and did my research and didn’t like what I’d learnt 😔That night I had to go to hospital with another bleed. I had to go to hospital with every bleed as any bleed could be a dangerous bleed and I could hemorrhage at any time. They kept me in as the blood flow didn’t slow as quickly as it previously had before. I was carefully monitored and the MRI the next day went ahead.

Later that night back on the ward the man who did the scan came to see me with he’s team. I could tell by their faces that it was bad news. Luckily my mum was with me. I just blurted out “I’m attached aren’t I”!! 🙈They pulled the curtains round and all gathered around. He sat on my bed and he said “Amie.. I’m so sorry to tell you this but you’ve got Stage 4 Placenta Creta”! I’m sat there thinking about what iv read on the Internet and he’s saying summat about Stage 4. And I’m just thinking “What the fuck is he even on about”?? He goes on to tell me “Iv never seen anything like this in all my 30 years in medical practise and were going to have to draft in some doctors from oversees before we can even think about delivering your baby. Amie I’m so sorry to have to say this but your life is now at serious risk and we would strongly advise you and your family to prepare yourselves for the worst”!!

I can’t remember much after that. I just know I didn’t cry. I turned to my mum and she was just in absolute pieces. She was how I was when I was told Florrie might not make it. I gave her the biggest cuddle and I told her “Don’t you be sat there mum listening to these fukin idiots because I’m not going anywhere”!! I never shed not one single tear. I had to be the strong one now. I told them “I understood everything they had said and when could I go home”. He told me I could go home the next day providing my blood loss had stopped. It did and home I went. I carried on with life like you do and I just thought “Florrie’s what matters at minute and making sure I keep life as normal as possible for the kids”.

I didn’t tell my kids I might die. It’s something they didn’t need to know. Fast forward to 29 weeks 2 days pregnant by this point I’d learnt I had Placenta Preva,Stage 4 Placenta Creta,my Placenta was not only attached to my previous section scar tissue it was also attached to my womb,my Uterus, my Cervix. It was like a sling inside my belly (Their words) I got took into hospital with another bleed. I was put on the monitor and her heart rate and slowed and changes were taking place so I was admitted to the Labour Ward. My team came to see me and said a doctor from the Netherlands was on he’s way to England and he would arrive sometime early morning to assist the operation.

I would be going to theater at 11 o’clock 29th March 2017. I’m not going to lie I was absolutely shitting myself but I turned round and just said “OK love that’s good with me”!! He then told me I’d be kept on monitor all night and that I’d not to lay flat on my back. I sent my mum home for some sleep and told her to be back for 8 the next morning. I didn’t sleep that night I sat in the chair at the side of my bed cuddling a Pink furry rabbit babygro that both Ruby and Elsie had worn to come home from hospital in.. And I cried and cried and cried!!!

All I could think was “I might never see my daughters again. I might not even get to meet my baby. I might never see my mum, my brothers or my sister ever again. Next time they see me I might be laid there dead with my dead baby in my arms”!! I rang my mum and I said “Mum if me and the baby do die will you promise me one thing? That we get put together in the same coffin and if she’s a girl please call her Florrie after my grandma”.

My mum might lose not only her grand baby but her daughter too”!! And I’d just sent her home to get some sleep 😔I can remember going for a bath about 7 o’clock the next morning and then I was scanned at 8 o’clock.. Florrie had her leg in her hand and was putting it above her head. I can remember saying “She’s going to be a gymnast when she’s older and laughing with the doctor”!! My mum arrived at 8 and then at 9 o’clock I was scanned by my Consultant Tom so he could mark up where my incision was going to be.

Scan started I seen my baby move. We heard her heart beat although it was a little low and there was gaps between beats. I remember thinking “This might be the last time I ever get to hear that sound or see her image” then Tom goes “I’m just off to go get another member of the team”. I didn’t think anything of it. In they come scan continues sound gets turned off and he turns the screen to him. I’m just thinking he’s measuring up to see where I’m getting cut. One doctor goes out. Tom’s deep in concentration. He never said a word. There was a deathly silence in the room. Then something started to not feel right. I felt uneasy. Next thing so many doctors came rushing through the door they almost didn’t fit in the room. Their all gathered round the screen talking in hushed tones.

I just know somethings badly wrong here but I was so calm its unreal. Tom looks at me with the most saddest look. I said “Tom what wrong.. Something is wrong isn’t it”? He said “Amie I’m so so so sorry. Amie the baby has just gone”!!

Again that deathly blood curdling scream that left my body i will never unhear. I’d literally just watched my baby pass away on the screen 💔12 weeks to the day my baby had battled in the womb to stay alive and on the morning of her section she had passed away. Totally heartbreaking 💔My mum must have rung my family because I remember them turning up. I remember us all been outside. I can’t remember what got said or anything. I was a complete and utter mess!! I said bye to them all and I walked back up to the Labour Ward with my mum and my team were at front desk I said “I’m ready to go to theater now and have my baby”!!

I got out the outfit I wanted my baby to wear, the scenting blanket I’d spent the night scenting up incase I didn’t get to meet her and I passed the nurse her blanket and told her to make sure she was cleaned up,dressed and wrapped in her blanket for me. I was prepped for theater and I said my goodbyes to my mum just incase I didn’t see her again.. I was put to sleep. In theater I gave birth at 29 weeks 3 days to my beautiful baby girl Florrie-Mae born sleeping at 12.50pm weighing 1Ib 15.5oz on 29.03.17 💜👼

I lost my full body’s supply of blood, I had all my blood replaced,I had to have a Hysterectomy, my Uterus and some of my cervix was also removed. At one point they went out and told my mum I’d had a little girl and it got that bad in theater they told my mum things were really bad and they were doing all they could to save me but she had to prepare for the worst because it wasn’t looking good. She must have rang my family and they a turned up at that point. At one point they were going to give up but the doctor from the Netherlands stepped in and performed an emergency Arterial block and put me on a Self Saver machine.

I was in theater 8 and a half hours. I came out on full life support in an induced coma and transferred to ICU …. But I was alive. Only just. They told me it was a miracle. I now do believe in miracles 👌Can’t keep a warrior down for long. 36 hours later I woke up. As soon as the ventilator was out I said “I had a little girl didn’t I”? The doctor said “Yeah you did Amie”. I just said “I bloody knew it”! 🤣I asked when I could have her and they said as soon as we can get some of these tubes out of you so I said “Well you better make a start then haven’t you love” 😂 From waking up to leaving ICU it took me 2 hours. I wasn’t messing around lol.

Arriving at HDU they got me settled and then they brought my daughter to me. I’d waited so long for this cuddle. She got passed to me and I swear to god she was gorgeous. She looked like she had been crying 😢 I remember saying “I’m so sorry Florrie. I’m so sorry I couldn’t protect you. But I promise you I’m going to fight like fuck for you baby”!!! And here I am. Fighting like fuck to get my daughter the justice she deserves. The man responsible for her death is going on trial in 2019 for charges I can’t discuss.

My Florrie will be 2 years and 2 months old when it takes place. Its been a long hard battle but iv got it this far and I don’t intend to give up now!! I promised Florrie she wouldn’t die for absolutely nothing and so I set up Florrie’s Army 💜 👼My daughter may not be here but she will sure never be forgotten. I believe she got given to me because she had some work that needed to be done and she picked me to do it 💕I got hand picked from Heaven by the most perfect little angel ever 👼She’s doing amazing things from Heaven and while ever I’m here Florrie’s Army will be here xxxxxxxx https://www.facebook.com/Florries-Army-In-Rememberance-Page-123309771943179/

  • Teach Your Children To Look After Others

You know when you were younger and you did something real stupid because your mates told you to? And then your mum would say ‘if your mates told you to jump off a cliff would you do it? Obviously you got her point and knew you wouldn’t do anything too silly because you understood the difference between silly… and silly silly!

Well this is my son Jacob. He is 16 and autistic. He doesn’t understand the difference between silly silly. If someone tells Jacob to do something and he thinks they will like him because of this, then Jacob does it. No matter how dangerous.

A group of Jacobs ‘friends’ told Jacob to go and pick up a deodorant can that had been chucked into a fire. Jacob did it. He didn’t understand what would happen and everyone thought it was funny.

The can blew up in my sons face. His head caught on fire. They all laughed. NOBODY called an ambulance. Nobody called me. NOBODY walked him home. Nobody tried to put out the fire on his head. He ran into Tesco’s holding his blistering face and ran his head under the hot tap because he didn’t know which one to use because he couldn’t see.

NOBODY asked him if he was okay. NOBODY stopped him and asked him if he needed help. Jacob then walked home. I heard the screams as he walked up to the house.

Teach Your Children To Look After Others
Teach Your Children To Look After Others

Jacob was rushed to RVI (Royal Victoria Infirmary) burns unit last night. Luckily he only has 1st degree burns to his face. His hair is singed and he has black eyes from the impact. He also has a bruise and cut to his thigh where the can hit him so hard it cut open his leg. If that had hit him in the face my son could be blind.

I am writing this to ask you to not only remind your children of their own safety but also be considerate of those more vulnerable than themselves. Jacob got off lightly. He had a lucky escape. So did the people who encouraged him to do something so obviously silly when it is dangerous. Because if he had not been so lucky this might have had a permanent impact on everyone involved.

Be kind. Don’t just be kind to yourself but be kind to people who need you to be kind to them. And teach your children to look after the kids that need looking after and are a bit ‘different’

It’s an important lesson. One that we could all do with remembering.

Please share this to raise awareness of the dangers of playing with fire and also those people in a less fortunate position than yourselves.

Thanks to everyone that helped with Jacob last night.

  • Young Girl Beaten By Grown Woman

Tiffany Leanne Schofield’s daughter was vicioucly beaten by a grown woman.

Her mum took to Facebook and said

“So after recent events and conversations with multiple people about the scum named Jayde Binch I just wanted to give people an update on the effects my daughter has suffered since she got beaten by a grown ass women.

Just a quick recap of the events, my daughter was 11 years old when it happened she was ‘best friend’s’ with Jaydes daughter and because they fell out (as girls do) Jayde took it upon herself to go find my daughter and beat her punched her several times in the face till my daughter fell to the floor which she then proceeded to kick her while she was down, then grabbed her by her hair and tried to shove her into the car.

My daughter with all her courage and strength managed to break free from Jaydes grip. This woman is a trained boxer so as u can imagine the punches would have came down like bricks to my daughter.

She was taken to hospital and police was called out, it got taken to court I had to sit and watch on cctv what that evil women did to my daughter without saying a word. The judge who also watched the cctv footage gave her a fine, a fucking fine how is that justice?.

A year and half later my daughter is still seeing a councillor, still has flashbacks of that awful night, she now has a barrier up which she will not lower, she don’t understand how someone could do what this evil person did and yet get away with it”.

  • Little Boy Attacked By A Teenager In McDonalds

I’m not one to post my whole life and everything going on in it on Facebook, and I wasn’t ever planning to post anything about what happened to Charlie, but after a few days of over thinking and growing more and more frustrated following a phone call with the detective investigating his case, I’ve decided that I just need to vent!

This is a long story, but please take the time to read it, I feel it’s really important to share. A couple of weeks ago when in the McDonalds near Hampton in Peterborough, I was walking to the toilet with Charlie and Elsie. I had Elsie in front, guiding her forward with one hand, and Charlie behind holding onto my other hand. All of a sudden it felt like Charlie’s hand was snatched from mine, so instinctively I turned around imagining the worst, that someone was trying to grab him.

What I saw next had me so confused. I saw Charlie on the floor, and on top of him was a girl, of about 12/13 years of age, with fair wavy hair, just completely obscuring him from my view almost. On top of her almost, was what I assumed to be her mother. In that first half a second, I automatically assumed that she must have fallen onto him accidentally, and her mother with her, and then as I bent down to help my crying child up, I realised that her teeth were embedded into the top of his back.

This had come from absolutely nowhere. Then all I could see and hear was chaos. I could see her grappling with him and biting him as hard as she could, I could hear the animalistic sounds coming out of her mouth as she bit down, and her mum telling her to stop. I could hear Charlie, my little 5-year-old screaming for help, hysterical with the shock and the pain, and it all sort of blurred. Elsie was thankfully shut behind the protection of the door heading into the toilets, so I bent down as fast as I could, and started pulling at Charlie as her mum pulled on her.

The harder I pulled the stronger I realised she was and she just seemed to bite harder and thrash her body about on top of him. Charlie was beside himself, just screaming, and I was crying as I was begging her to stop. I’m not going to lie, I wanted to kick her, I wanted to pull her literally by the hair off of my child and I wanted to hurt her, anything to get her off, but I just couldn’t quite do it, because I knew she was a child, if a bigger one, and I knew she likely had some underlying condition that was leading her behaviour. As I looked up in desperation to her mother, all her mother said was “I’m sorry, she’s autistic”, as she continued to try to pull her off.

After what seemed like forever, but in reality was probably about 30 seconds, I managed to pull him away slightly.

Just enough that he started to move. As I moved him away further and as her mum tried to restrain her, she was lashing out at him, getting him wherever she could. Hitting, scratching, biting. Down his back, his bottom, his legs. All I could think was to get away, so I don’t even remember looking at anyone who must have witnessed this and yet not intervened, I just grabbed my screaming 5-year-old child, carried him through the door, got his 2-year-old sister who was being looked after by a kind man this whole time, and locked us in the nearest disabled toilet.

When we were in there I got on my knees and held Charlie, asked him where it hurt, and he just said, in between sobs, “everywhere”. I lifted his top up and felt sick at the sight of his back. There was blood running down from where she had broken through his skin with her teeth. He had red marks where she had slapped and hit him as hard as she could repeatedly, scratches, blotches that I knew would turn into bruising. Charlie’s only saving grace with his back I realised, was the fact he had been wearing a really thick, cotton joules top. Had it been a thin t-shirt of any sort like he normally wears, it would have been a hell of a lot worse and she likely would have taken a chunk of him with her.

I couldn’t believe she had bitten him so hard that she had managed to cut through his skin despite this. I wiped the blood away as gently as I could, and held a cold compress on there for a few minutes, and then I just needed to get out and get in the car before I dealt with the rest. I pulled his top down, grabbed their hands and left the toilet. When we got out the door all of a sudden, the girl who was now sitting at a table with her mum, leapt up to try to get to Charlie again, just shouting manically “naughty naughty naughty, he’s naughty”.

Her mum had to pin her down in her chair to stop her. Charlie started screaming hysterically all over again, hiding behind me just shouting “no mummy, no.” I genuinely just wanted to cry, but held it together. At this point, some staff came over and blocked her view of him, and his of her, and escorted us out. When we got outside they told us to sit down on a bench, and someone went in to get some ice for his back, proceeding to hold it on there for him when they came back out to reduce the swelling. They offered him and Elsie an ice cream (although he wouldn’t eat his), and then filled in an incident form with our details and what had happened.

I was crying freely along with Charlie the whole time, just completely traumatized and in shock by what had happened. I looked back in and could see the mum, still struggling to control who I assume was her daughter. I just wanted to go home, Charlie just kept asking to go home, so as soon as I had filled in our details, we went to the car, and both of us cried all the way home. I kept thinking all the way home, and whilst I was still there too, what do I do? Can I call the police? Does this girl’s autism mean that somehow her behaviour is outside of the law? What happens now?

I knew she must have some disability of some sort, and I was trying so hard to show some compassion and understanding, I really didn’t want to cause undue trouble. I kept going over and over it in my head, wondering if I was being unreasonable in my slowly developing anger. I’ve worked with autistic children before, and I’m a student children’s nurse so it’s not like I had a lack of understanding. I empathise with her mum and how I assumed she must be feeling, but it didn’t take away the pain I felt because of what my child had gone through, never mind the pain Charlie felt himself.

Once home, I stripped him down, ran him a bath, and properly looked at what she had done. He was covered in marks from the top of his back, right down to the top of his ankles. Worse than seeing the bruises that I knew would fade, was hearing him ask me “am I naughty? Why did she hurt me? Will other children hurt me now? Why? Why?”. I didn’t have all the answers, just tried to explain that he was safe, reassure him that this wouldn’t happen again, and try to put into words that this girl was poorly in her mind, and didn’t do it “on purpose”.

After deliberating some more, I decided to call the police through their 101 number. The scary truth was, I had decided, was that had it been my 2-year-old in her thin summer dress, the damage would have been so so much worse. If she had gone for the throat….or the face? And if this was a barely walking toddler or a baby in a car seat? I have no doubt in my mind that this girl could have killed a smaller child if she had taken a chunk out of their neck. She wanted to hurt and cause significant pain, and she didn’t seem to care for the outcome.

I felt like someone had to take responsibility because she wasn’t safe to be around small children, clearly? I spoke to a nice lady on the phone who took all the details, and told me they would investigate, look at the CCTV and get back to me. In the week following, my 5-year-old child’s behaviour seemed to suddenly deteriorate. He was moody, emotional and constantly asked questions about what had happened. Even worse, every other night at least he appeared to have started having night terrors.

He would wake up screaming, crying and drenched in sweat, and some mornings when I asked him how he was he didn’t even seem to remember waking in such a state. This incident hasn’t only affected my child physically, but has also affected him emotionally. The physical marks have faded slightly since, but I’m so concerned that the mental scars will take longer to disappear. He was prescribed antibiotics the next day due to the severity of his injuries to prevent infection, and after a couple more GP visits has been referred to counselling as well.

The police and more specifically the man handling the incident have rang me since and said the CCTV doesn’t cover the whole altercation, just the girl running from the tills with her mum, and diving on my child who is almost out of sight. McDonald’s have no CCTV outside to trace a car reg, and the mum refused to fill in an incident form so they don’t have her details. So what now? They’ve said they have a clear screenshot of her mums face they are rotating around local offices and organisations, but if no one knows her, then this mum won’t even get so much as a little advice as to how to address her child’s behaviour and whether it’s safe to have her around children.

This could happen again and next time this could be worse. Also, I don’t know about anyone else, but if I was that mother I would have been mortified. I would have gone out of my way to fix it, to get the victims details and send a card? A magazine? Anything! Just to apologise, because the guilt would have eaten me up! I’d have worked with anyone and everyone to protect other children from what I knew my own child was sometimes capable of. The officer who reviewed the CCTV said that judging by the mums reaction on the screen, she knew what was happening immediately, so she was aware of what her child was capable. I’m so angry! I’m so so very upset!

How can my child go through this, and yet no one is going to be held responsible? What is this teaching him? Who is protecting him? I’m trying so hard to be understanding to every aspect of the situation, but it just doesn’t seem right. If the girl who inflicted these horrific injuries on my child isn’t to blame, then is her mother? For allowing this to happen knowing what her child was capable of? Should I be angry at the McDonald’s staff because despite comforting and being great with Charlie afterwards, shouldn’t they have ensured 100% that they followed protocol and got mums details too?

Should I be angry at the police because I don’t feel like they are taking this seriously, just because this early teen is autistic? Does that mean no small child is safe when out and about in Peterborough? Should my child, or any child, really be scared to go in McDonald’s and eat a happy meal? I don’t want to be angry, I really don’t, because everyone I have spoken to has seemed helpful, and I’ve been offered support and extra help for Charlie from some lovely people through the police, but I just feel like Charlie is being failed and I just don’t know what to do?! Could people share this post and get the word around?. Does anyone have any advice? If someone knows the mother and the child it could be could they call 101 or contact me directly? Apparently they’ve been to that McDonald’s before a few times according to staff. I just want something!

Some sort of recognition, some form of justice? It’s just not right. It’s awful having to lay with your sobbing child most nights and seeing such fear and confusion in their eyes! As a mother it is truly heartbreaking! It hasn’t only affected Charlie either, the guilt I feel as a his mummy too, for not seeing her coming, for not protecting him, has me crying some nights. I need to gauge some sort of justice, or at least more understanding at where we stand in this situation? I seem to be hitting dead ends on my own, and the more time passes the more I just feel like somewhere along the line Charlie has been failed! What do I do? The photo below is just some of his injuries, please look, please share, please help? 💔

  • 6 Month Old Baby Badly Bitten At Day Care

I don’t normally post something personal like this, but we feel that sharing our sons story will be beneficial to other parents in the Hanover PA area. Recently there has been more and more of these kind of things happening and it’s honestly sickening.

On 09/15/2017 our son who was 6 months at the time was violently bitten 8 times at an in home daycare in Hanover, PA. After a hospital trip, police involvement, and child services involvement our son still did not get the justice he deserves.

The day of the incident I was working until 5PM. When I got off my father had told me something had happened to Gunnar and I needed to call the owner of the daycare. I called her and was told our son had been bitten by a 2yr old but she had cleaned the marks.

Not knowing what I was going to see when I got home I assumed it was something benign. When I got home and looked at Gunnar I was in SHOCK. Our little helpless baby was violently bitten 8 times while in daycare but I had to be the one to reach out to the daycare provider. No, she did not call me when this happened, no she did not report it, no she did not seek any medical attention, and most importantly she didn’t call ANYONE.

She had told my mother while picking up Gunnar that she did not want to take pictures and that she did not fill out an incident report. Now, my mother works in a daycare so she knows the STATE REGULATIONS when something like this happens. So we knew she was hiding something. Why would she not report it or even take pictures?

Here was her story of what happened. She had explained to me that they were all outside that day. When she started bringing the kids inside, she brought a 1yr old and our infant son in first leaving the other children outside ALONE. She put the 1yr old in the pack and play, then placed our son on the floor.

Then proceeded to walk outside and leave the 1yr old and Gunnar in the house ALONE. According to her it was no more than 5 minutes she was outside before she heard Gunnar screaming. She ran in to find Gunnar on the floor being attacked by this 2yr old girl who supposedly snuck into the house while she was gathering the kids to come inside. As she put it she had to forcefully pull the toddler off of Gunnar.

She then stated she cleaned the bite marks and put the little girl on time out. Yet. still not phone calls were made. The extensiveness of these bite marks could not have been made in that little amount of time. Every single one of the 8 bite marks were open! Yup, broke through his skin.

During the investigations we found out she was NOT a licensed daycare. We also found out that she had been indicated for child abuse/neglect on another account. Yet, somehow in the first hearing she was deemed compassionate and the judge dropped the charges. All because she put stuff on him to clean the bite marks. Not only did she lie about being a licensed daycare she also lied about her credibility. She left an infant alone on the floor while going outside and refused to report it.

Today while looking through the merchandiser I happened to glance at an add for an inhome daycare. Well come to find out, it’s HER! After everything she put us through, put Gunnar through she’s still running a daycare. She’s a lying irresponsible woman who should not be allowed to watch children. For all the moms and dads out there looking for a good daycare PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THEM TO HER! (her adds the first one)

  • Woman Fights To Escape Attacker And Survives

At about 7:15am Wednesday, I was walking my dog Berreta alone on our regular loop on the Platte River Trail, a short walk from my home. A man passed by me that I had recognized briefly from the day prior when I was walking with Billie.

He didn’t make eye contact with me and I got a very strange vibe. Somehow he made it on the other side of the loop, meaning he must’ve cut through the woods somewhere knowing where I was headed. The dog and I passed him and I said excuse me. About 30 seconds later I noticed him very close behind me. I saw he had a rope in his hands and at that point he was too close to try and put any distance between us.

He strangled me from behind and drug me into the woods about 15 feet off the trail where he removed almost all of my clothes. He continued to choke me using his hands, the rope, and with a bandana of some sort. I fought like hell and screamed my brains out, even my sweet dog tried to fight him and bite him as much as she could. He threatened to kill me, I believe to get me to stop screaming.

I thought that this could be the end but I was not about to give up fighting for my life. He hog tied me from my neck to my wrists, then to my ankles and told me he was going to let me go but he needed to find his glasses first. He searched for them multiple times and couldn’t find them, I begged him to let me help but he said he couldn’t trust me. I somehow managed to sit up and was able to reach the knot around my ankles and free myself.

I had no choice at that point but to run for my life as fast as I could, unfortunately without my dog. I made it to the bike path almost completely naked screaming for help. I’m so thankful there were people around that ultimately were able to protect me. A man on a bike chased him down and was able to restrain him until police arrived. HE IS IN CUSTODY.

He is a registered sex offender and has multiple warrants out for his arrest, the detectives are very confident he won’t be seeing light of day for a very very long time, if not ever. Later I was able to find Berreta, so she is also safe at home.

This was the worst day of my life but I knew I had to fight, it simply wasn’t my time to die. I love you all for all of the support and am feeling better today. I still feel like I got hit by a freight train but I am lucky to be in good hands today with my family and friends.

I am putting this post up to remind each and every one of you, please be aware of your surroundings at all times. Even if you have been on your local path, your grocery store parking lot, or anywhere 100 times, danger can exist anywhere. I am lucky to be alive, so please have a plan in place to protect yourself from whatever may be out there. Be safe out there, lots of love from me!

  • To The Girl Who Decided To Bully My Daughter Today

Cassie Archon’s young daughter was viciously beaten by her school bully and sadly this seems to be happening more and more, schools have little control or punishment methods to prevent what happens on the walk home, the school may have bullying policies but these seem to have little effect, some parents have little interest in their children and have no real authority at home, teenagers don’t seem to have any real worry about their consequences as parents don’t have the same respect as years ago, it’s a worrying time when your child can’t even walk home from school safely.

Archon took to social media to rant about what happened to her innocent young daughter.

Archon said: To the little girl who decided to bully my daughter today! You might have pushed her down, tossed her around and between you and your friend you bruised her c-spine by punching her……But, you WILL NOT get away with it. This is the 3rd time with each time getting worse. I promise you I’ll find the video on instagram! I promise you I WILL protect my daughter! NO parent should ever have to hear that their child was jumped by other kids, especially at the age of 11!! This society has gotten ridiculous with its protection of the ones that bully and the discipline on the ones being bullied. My daughter isn’t perfect but she by no means deserves to be beaten! We live 3/4 of a mile from her school and she can’t even walk home safely!!

    YOUR PARENTS SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!

Do you think bullying has gotten worse over the years or is just that people are speaking out more? Are schools and parents losing control of their children? let us know in the comments
