  • Raped, Controlled, Stalked Don’t Let This Be You

I hope that others can take from this, hope and strength to make positive changes.

I met Rick when I was 18, we were in the same friendship groups and knew the same people but had never spoken. He added me on Facebook randomly and we got to talking. It started as friendly chat and then he asked to take me out. He was lovely at this point, complimenting me and making me feel like I was the only one he had eyes for. I had been messed around in the months previous to this and dangled on a string, cheated on and all sorts so this was a welcomed change.

For the first month or so things were amazing, we spent all our time together and he couldn’t do enough for me. I began staying at his house where he lived with his parents pretty much every night. It wasn’t until we were out for a friend’s birthday that things started to change. I was glad to have him with me but by the end of the night he started to get a bit quiet and moody. When we got home he started questioning me about my male friends that were there. How long I had known them, where we met and if there was ever anything between us. I chalked it up to insecurity and put his mind at rest and we moved on but it became so frequent. Whenever a male friend would comment on my Facebook or show up in my news feed it would cause an argument and I would end up having to unfriend them.

Time goes on and it becomes an issue going out at all. I thought if he came with me everywhere it would ease his mind but it just didn’t. It ended up turning into excuses “I hate your friends” “You’re not going if I don’t and I’m not coming” “you’re supposed to want to spend time with me not them”

How things ended up in just a few months is still kind of amystery but I went from being so sociable and not being able to live without my friends and family, to living in track suit bottoms all day every day in his bedroom staring at the same TV, dreading getting a text incase it caused an argument. I wasn’t seeing my friends, I wasn’t going home anymore and my mum would plead with me to come home once a week so she could see me. Even that ended in arguments so that I would feel so bad I wouldn’t want to leave to see my family but stay and sort things instead.

I think it was around four months in when things started to get physical. It started the day I had my contraceptive implant removed, they had a really hard time getting it out so I was left with stitches and heavy bruising. I was feeling really poorly and all I wanted to do was to just go to sleep. For a month or two he had been going on at me constantly how we don’t have sex enough and made me feel guilty because I apparently made him feel unwanted. Even though we were having sex at least 5 times a week.

So he is hassling me whilst im laid trying to sleep. Groping me and just not letting it go. I told him I didn’t want to and pushed him away but it wasn’t enough. He was rough with it and as a result the stitches in my arm burst open from being held down. When he was done he headed for the bathroom and I grabbed my bag, left my shoes behind and legged it out into the garden and out the back gate and walked and ran barefoot to my closest friends house which was around 10 minutes away.

It was probably around 2am but she let me in, covered in my own blood and was asking me what the fuck had happened. I couldn’t even tell her I was beside myself. 15 minutes later he was outside in his car calling and texting me to come out. She begged me to stay because she knew he was the cause but I was embarrassed, scared and ashamed so I went home with him.

This became a regular occurence where I would say no but it wouldn’t matter. So I stopped saying no. It was easier for me that way, I didn’t need to be held down. I didn’t need to be hit, I could just lay there and wait for it to be over.

He became every single part of my life. I couldn’t do anything on my own anymore, couldn’t bath without him in the room. I couldn’t even wee without him in the room and if I did manage to get to wee in peace he would watch me through the key hole. I had to go to work with him, he was a mobile carer so I had to sit in his car and go with him wherever he went.

I couldn’t take pride in my appearance anymore, I remember dying my hair and having him rub hair dye in my eyes and pushing me into the bath tub in anger because “Who was I trying to impress?” I became no one.

It came to an end around a year in, it was coming up to my closest friends birthday, I wanted so much to be able to go and celebrate with her. I knew if I asked or told him I was going it would cause an argument and result in getting hurt so I waited until the day before to tell him. At least then it would be over with quicker and it wouldn’t be drawn out arguments. We were sat in his car between his jobs and he was screaming at me. I remember I just caught sight of myself in the mirror of the sun visor and I saw myself properly for what felt like the first time in months.

My eye was black, I looked grey and miserable and I remember thinking – what the fuck are you doing? Have you heard him? Have you heard what he is saying to you? LOOK AT YOURSELF. And I turned to him and said, calmly “take me home Rick I can’t do this anymore.” He changed, from being this screaming beast of a man to a pleading little boy.

Telling me how he would change, he would give me my space and he would try hard to work on us. I had left him twice already and gone back because of this kind of promise. But this was it, I was done. He was refusing to take me home so I told him if he didn’t I would call my step dad to come get me and that would be worse for him because he would want to know why I was crying. So he took me home.

That should have been the end because it was for me, but it wasn’t for him. I had to deal with him stalking me, being wherever I was. Texting and calling me so much that in the end my mum had to take me to the police to report it. They were genuinely concerned because of his behaviour and the way he was talking about killing himself and it being because of me, that he would try and take me with him.

He had tried already to grab me and drag me into his car on my way home from work. He was everywhere and I couldn’t escape him. I felt so guilty reporting him to the police I tried to walk out half way through interview but they told me – given the stuff they knew already they would be taking things further whether I wanted to or not.

The Police escorted my dad to collect my stuff from his house, which he had pissed all over and given back to my dad in a last attempt at any kind of control. Eventually he gave up, the last contact being him waiting for me outside a relatives house where he knew I would be and having to phone the police to remove him whilst sat in this relatives car and having him watch and listen to me do it standing at my side of the car just tapping on the window begging me to hear him out. But it worked, they granted me an injunction meaning he wasn’t allowed to contact me at all and doing so would result in arrest and charges.

It has taken me years to move past it, to trust people again. I became so angry and hostile that I would cause fights with strangers in bars for something as simple as putting their hand on my shoulder when I hadn’t told them they could. Every time I smelt something that smelt like him I would panick and just not function.

Everywhere I went I had a memory of him. I got to a point where I had changed jobs and was working in London, and every day I would stand on that platform and think about throwing myself in front of the incoming train because it would just be over. I won’t lie and tell you it was easy to get out because it wasn’t, but I will tell you it was the best decision I ever made. There is support out there, there is people that will listen, believe you and take you seriously. The help is there and when you are ready to take that step it is waiting.

This is my story, don’t let it be yours.

  • Doctors Receptionist Gets The Best Reply

There is nothing worse than a Doctor’s Receptionist who insists you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients, you know the ones the people who think just because they work with doctors that makes them qualified to diagnose us.

I know most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this guy handled it.

A 65-year-old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the desk.

The Receptionist said, ‘Yes sir, what are you seeing the Doctor for today?’

‘There’s something wrong with my dick’, he replied.

The receptionist became irritated and said, ‘You shouldn’t come into a crowded waiting room and say things like that. ‘

‘Why not, you asked me what was wrong and I told you,’ he said.

The Receptionist replied; ‘Now you’ve caused some embarrassment in this room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in private.’

The man replied, ‘You shouldn’t ask people questions in a roomful of strangers, if the answer could embarrass anyone. The man walked out, waited several minutes, and then re-entered.

The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, ‘Yes??’

‘There’s something wrong with my ear,’ he stated.

The Receptionist nodded approvingly and smiled, knowing he had taken her advice.. ‘And what is wrong with your ear, Sir?’

‘I can’t piss out of it,’ he replied.

The waiting room erupted in laughter…

Mess with seniors, and you’re going to lose….(yep, sure are) 😉

  • We Are All Guilty Of Taking Our Other Halfs For Granted

You know we are all guilty of taking our other half for granted from time to time. We may forget to give a goodbye kiss, say I love you or just be so caught up in what we are doing at the moment that we don’t notice the very little things that mean so much to our special someone.

I saw something today that has made me remember that we won’t always have each other to hold, talk to, love, play with or even just aggravate every now and then.

This picture speaks loudly and it may hurt your heart as it has mine. This man looks like he is spending Valentine’s Day alone at first glance but that is actually his wife in that very beautiful bottle sitting on the table.

Apparently his love for her was and still is very strong as he takes her ashes out for a Valentine’s lunch date together. He even bought her a glass of wine….

Please love your Sweetheart while you have the opportunity, you never know what tomorrow will bring, never leave each other on an argument, remember whatever you say to them may one day be the last conversation you have so make it kind, forgive the little stuff and focus on the good.

Life goes by so fast so make sure the ones you hold dear know how they make you feel.

This photo makes me sad but it also shows me that this man had a life time of love in his heart for his wife.

  • My Son Is Being Punished For Being Bullied

My son is 7 and has dyspraxia and is on the autistic spectrum, he also has an irritable bladder.

He is a kind, smart and sensitive boy, he likes to hug people and sometimes says things he shouldn’t, he struggles to make friends as he is “different”, with his bladder he sometimes has wet patches in his trousers especially when he is stressed however teachers say he is a perfect pupil eager to please and a hard worker.

But my boy is being bullied by this one particular girl, she says my boy is ugly because he has freckles and that he smells of wee, anything my son touches she refuses to use and tells everyone its covered in germs, she taunts him, shoves him kicks him and gets others to follow suit.

Last month my son came home from school and got sandpaper and tried to rub his freckles off, he washes constantly and cries himself to sleep.

As his mum I’ve been into the school and spoke to his teacher on numerous occasions even spoke to the head and this girls parents.

My son seemed happier for a short time until 4 days before half term where this one girl chucked a rock at his eye during play time again I spoke to the school.

The next day I asked my son had this girl been horrible to him and to my surprise he said no, I was pleased that the school had finally dealt with her.

But I was then shocked to discover the reason why my son hadn’t been bullied was because he had been placed in isolation!!!

The school have effectively punished my son for being a victim of bullying.

The school can’t seem to deal with this 7-year-old girl and protect my child by keeping him on his own but this won’t help my  childs social development and he feels he has done wrong for telling on her, as his mum i want to protect him but other than pulling him out of the school completely which will be very very stressful for him as change is hard for him what on earth can I do, I feel helpless.

I didn’t send my son back to school for the rest of the week and I’m still unsure what to do when he is due to return to school on Monday.

What would you do in this situation?

  • I Make My Partner Sleep At His Parents Once A Month

I am a mum to two children Charlie who is 3 and Robbie who is 11 weeks old.

I am in a very happy relationship with my partner of 5 years my wonderful boyfriend Jamie he is a wonderful boyfriend and a fantastic father barring his drinking.

No he isn’t an alcoholic or abusive but once a month he goes out with his mates he crawls home in the early hours and ends up vomiting in the house, urinating on himself or on one occasion mistaking the airing cupboard for a toilet and weeing in it, he never makes it to the bedroom and I often find him asleep on the landing or even on my children’s bedroom floor.

Since Robbie was born I have banned him from coming home when he has had a drink, he knows he has to go and stay at his friend’s house or go to his parents home which is 3 streets down from ours.

Last weekend he went out and got very drunk but went to his mums house, the next morning his mother phoned me and called me a psycho for banning her son from coming back to his own house, he works hard and should be able to go out and have a drink and return home without any repercussions or rules in place, she even said it’s not like he’s abusive or violent when he drinks and is a happy drunk.

I will be sticking to this rule though I do not want my children to witness their loving father asleep in his own vomit or urine or my partner to ruin our lovely home.

Please tell me I’m not the only woman in the world who makes their partner do this, it’s not like I’m stopping him from seeing his friends I understand he needs his time and to go out and enjoy himself and I will not stop him but I sure as hell will stop my kid growing up thinking this is the norm.

  • Dentonox Cradle Cap Shampoo Warning

Chloe Macklam is trying to warn other parents about Dentonox after a bad experience

    Macklam said

    ⭐️ ATTENTION ⭐️

So I’m about to tell you something that happened to me yesterday night, my daughter is 10 weeks old and suffers from cradle cap (like most babies) I bought a shampoo that’s meant to help it called Dentonox from Asda roughly £3 so last night when I was bathing Isabella I got my partner to come in and hold her while I got the shampoo (because I always leave and forget everything 🙄) I put a small amount on my hand and started to rub it in her hair within seconds she started screaming and not just a baby scream it was a gut wrenching cry for help we washed it off straight away and she still wasn’t calming down we quickly released it was burning her scalp!

Her face was covered in a red blotchy rash and scalp was scarlet, I put cold water and ice packs on while my parter phoned 111 we rushed her in thinking she was having an allergic reaction but later on to our horror actually find out that this dentanox contains Hydrochloric acid which BURNED HER SCALP AND FACE!

    Do not use this shampoo!!!!

Share share share!! So no other poor baby has to go through this!

After Macklam posted this to Facebook other mums and dads commented on it saying that had also had similar experiences with this shampoo and where surprised they were still allowed to sell them in the shops, however several hundred people commented and said they had no issues with the shampoo and their babies had been fine.

Have you used this shampoo? What’s your thoughts on it, would you still consider using it to clear your child’s cradle cap or be avoiding it in future? Let us know in the comments

  • Why The Kebab Is Harmful To Human Health

    WHY THE KEBAB IS HARMFUL………..

The kebab, is of Arab origin but now widespread throughout Europe, is actually harmful to human health

The kebab, become a food quick meal for many Europeans, contains the ingredients that we often ignore : it is made up of meat lungs, intestines, tongue, eyes, scraps of butcher, teeth, bones, salt and animal fat. It seems the ingredients are taken from a recipe book of some witch!

In every city of Europe are millions of people who consume kebab daily , completely ignoring that it may be dangerous to your health.

The one who spread this Turkish fashion, who began by exporting it to Germany, was Mahmut Aygun and in the seventies he became the promoter of this food on our continent.

Initially, in the Arab countries where the kebab was born, it was considered basic rustic dish of meat, it was considered to be very fresh and nutritious, because of the fact of its accompanying vegetables and sauces. Instead, unfortunately, the Doner Kebab, was exported to us, rolled up in flatbread and there is nothing nutritious. The appetizing flavour is the result of a long process of meat with non-quantifiable amounts of animal fat and spices, which are there to deceive the palate. This is the trick of the good “looks” is very often used in a variety of fast food, which with a high presence of fat on the palate, induce a feeling of tasty flavour.

A team of scientists and nutritionists in England conducted research on the subject – kebab, here are a few percentage:

    • over 50% of the kebab contains cast-off meat that is not chicken or calf as indicated, but the result of a mixture with different meats, especially between sheep and pig;

    • in 9% of cases it was not possible to clearly identify the origin and nature of the meat used in the shredding;

    • Chapter SALT: a kebab contains between 98% and 277% of that which is the acceptable daily amount for a human being. Beyond this limit the person’s health is definitely at risk;

    • a single kebab and unseasoned contains between 1,000 and 1,990 calories ;

    • the amount of saturated fat assimilated during one day is far exceeded by the presence of these fats kebab varying between 148% and 346%

    • in most kebab analyzed were found bacteria such as Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus

To all this must be added preservatives and chemical additives that allow the preservation of the product for months and months, in addition to being subjected over this long period, to freezing and thawing !

  • If Your Thinking Of Not Vaccinating Your Child Read This

Jennifer Hibben-White took to Facebook regarding vaccinations she said:

This is my son Griffin, and he may have measles.

On February 9th, I received a phone call from York Region Public Health, informing me that Griffin, alongside my mother and I, was potentially exposed to the measles virus while attending a newborn weigh-in appointment at my doctor’s office in Markham on January 27th.

Griffin was 15 days old at the time.

I was informed that someone who later developed measles sat in the doctor’s waiting room between 1 hour before and 30 minutes before we arrived. I was also informed that measles is regarded as “airborne” and can stay in the air and on surfaces up to 2 hours after the infected person has left.

I was then asked if I had had the measles vaccine. I had.

Griffin. Griffin had not. Can not.

I was advised to not be around small children. If I worked in such an environment I would be written off work. I do work in such an environment; my home. Where I now sit with Griffin and my 3-year-old, Aurelia, who has only been able to get one MMR vaccine so far. She is now, technically, exposed too. We are to sit tight and watch for symptoms: fever, cough, runny nose. If we develop any of these we are to call my doctor and arrange to come in under official medical precautions. We are to wait at home, in isolation, until February 17th, after which the 21 days of possible incubation will have passed and we are clear.

So, Griffin is now Schrödinger’s baby. Simultaneously with measles, and without it. Until he develops symptoms, or until a further 7 days pass. One or other.

And I’m angry. Angry as hell.

I won’t get angry at or blame the person in the waiting room. I would have likely done the same thing…you get sick, you go to the doctor. I have no idea what their story is and I will never know. But I do know one thing:

If you have chosen to not vaccinate yourself or your child, I blame you.

    I blame you.

You have stood on the shoulders of our collective protection for too long. From that high height, we have given you the PRIVILEGE of our protection, for free. And in return, you gave me this week. A week from hell. Wherein I don’t know if my BABY will develop something that has DEATH as a potential outcome.

    DEATH.

Now, let’s unpack this shall we. All out on the table.

You have NO IDEA what this “potential outcome” means. NO IDEA. I do. Unfortunately, I do.

You think you are protecting your children from thimerosal? You aren’t. It’s not in their vaccine.

You think you are protecting them from autism? You aren’t. There is no, none, nada, nothing in science that proves this. If you want to use google instead of science to “prove me wrong” then I am happy to call you an imbecile as well as misinformed.

You think you are protecting them through extracts and homeopathy and positive thoughts and Laws of Attraction and dancing by candlelight on a full moon? You aren’t. I PROTECT YOUR CHILD. We protect your child. By being concerned world citizens who care about ourselves, our fellow-man, and our most vulnerable. So we vaccinate ourselves and our children.

You think you are protecting them by letting them eat their shovel full of dirt and reducing antibiotics and eating organic? You aren’t. As an unvaccinated person you are only protected by our good graces. WE LET YOU BE SO PRIVILEGED thanks to our willingness to vaccinate ourselves and our children.

You know what vaccines protect your children from? Pain. Suffering. Irreparable harm. Death.

And you would be the first to line up if you had an inkling of what the death of a child feels like. You would be crawling through the streets on your hands and knees, begging, BEGGING to get that vaccine into your precious babies because that is what I would have done, if I could, to save my daughter.

The fact is, there was no vaccine for her. Not for her illness. And she died. She died at age five and a half, and she is gone.

And I watch these arguments trotted out on Facebook and twitter citing false science and long discredited“studies” that just won’t stop and Jenny McCarthy quotes and “it’s MY choice” to not vaccinate…and I think…what would you have done if your child lay dying? Would you give them a scientifically proven, safe and effective vaccine and risk the minuscule likelihood of a side effect? Or would you let them go, knowing that at least they won’t develop autism (which they wouldn’t even develop anyway because SCIENCE)?

And don’t you DARE tell me that you wouldn’t vaccinate them then. Don’t you dare. You have no idea what it feels like to go through what we went through.

So, look at Griffin. Tell me why he gets to bear the brunt of your stupidity and reckless abuse of our protection? Tell me.

Seven more days until I know that my baby is safe. Seven more days.

How is your week going, anti-vaxxers?

  • Fathers for Justice Splitting Opinions!

This superhero clad father is causing quite the stir on social media after this picture of him went viral.

The unknown father is calling for justice and claiming that if a woman doesn’t put the father’s name on the birth certificate then that woman has no right to claim CSA for that child.

The statement has definitely been splitting opinions, with some woman totally agree with the statement while others claiming you can’t judge every situation the same without knowing the facts.

What is your opinion on this?
